🪐Random - Kpop survival show trainees and astrology placements - thoughts🪐
- Including my insights of trainees from this kpop survival show called boys planet I have been watching and finding their astrology placements, may not include all of their big 6 -
Tumblr media
Boys planet is a kpop survival show that has 93 trainees and there will missions of performances and elimination rounds to determine the final lineup for the group. It consists of korean trainees and global trainees (different nationalities). I kinda got invested and decided to dissect the trainees that are my favorite or eye catching.
July 25. 2000 Zhang hao - leo sun, taurus moon, cancer mercury, cancer mars
- altho he’s not the oldest trainee in the show, he has good leadership and is reliable when he lead his group for their audition song for the ranking test
- with his cancer mercury and cancer mars, he is very passionate about dancing and music, he rlly feels the music or able to understand and express it
- Idk why but taurus placements always have something to do with music, whether singing or playing an instrument, in his case he does both lol he plays the violin professionally and apparently had a certificate as a singing teacher
June 13. 2001 Sung hanbin - gemini sun, pisces moon, gemini mercury, sag mars
- geminis and being multitalented beings, he’s well rounded in singing, dancing and rap (potentially). The song he chose was able to showcase his experience in dancing, his moves were very sharp and clean and on beat, his vocals were able to transition from head voice to chest voice to avoid a voice crack. He also rapped briefly in his chosen audition song.
- He also has stage presence and nice facial expression, very center material -> gemini sun + pisces moon make for such expressive and creative individuals 😭
- No surprise he has sag mars, bro loves to dance and even said he had spent 2 years learning different dance such as wacking and locking moves I think.
May 28. 2002 Seok Mathew - Gemini sun, capricorn moon, gemini mercury, cancer stellium with cancer venus, mars, and jupiter
- omg he has a cancer stellium??? No wonder everyone adores his energy, saying that his smile can put a smile on their face 😭 literally his nickname is “happy virus” cancer stellium energy 🤝 making everyone comfortable and warm
- Adorable and friendly, he’s also a very good singer, and has good dance to back it up. Gemini mercuries slaying raps or quick paced songs, becuz he sang a song with quick beats to it and was super stable even when dancing.
- Capricorn moon makes him quite hardworking and levelheaded, and considering he trained for 1 year and 6 months his skills are pretty good.
March 8. 2001 Jay chang - Pisces sun, leo moon, aquarius mercury, sag mars (surprise surprise)
- Pisces suns 🤝 singing/entertainment industry
- He’s a very good vocalist and a groovy dancer (cough sag mars), I notice his tone is also husky-like or rough in a good way when singing, its very dynamic - aquarius mercuries tend to have unique tones when speaking or singing.
March 6. 2001 Wang zihao - Pisces sun, cancer moon, aquarius mercury, sag mars (they just keep showing up)
- (sag mars 🤝 main dancer potential) Dancing is his forte, he also learned how to krump, a type of technique, from a professional dancer who’s a krump master.
- His vocal tone and voice is also unique having aquarius mercury, having a soft yet cheerful tone. His water signs for his sun-moon rlly makes him have that lovable vibe, he’s very smiley “😊” too.
February 13. 2004 Anthonny - Aquarius sun, scorpio moon, aquarius mercury (again)
- He’s lovable becuz of his quirky and creative ways, aquarius sun and mercury coming in clutch. For instance his introduction video was him dressed in a panda onesie holding a bamboo prop and acting out as a panda for the entrance.
- Not only is he lovable he also has duality, able to pull off cool charismatic concepts!
- Both Anthonny and jay have a distinct tone when singing which distinguishes their style from the others. Anthonny’s tone is more of a vibrant high-pitch tone thats has a bit of texture? To it 🥲 Idk how to explainn but its the texture of a rattleshaker in a good way 🥸
July 4. 2001 Keita - Cancer sun, sag moon, gemini mercury, sag mars (again)
- Keita is good at rapping, gemini mercuries and spitting bars or able to handle fast pace with their words fr tho
- He’s also rlly good at dancing, he’s basically well rounded with good vocal range, rap, and dance.
- He’s also helpful, empathetic, and caring (cancer sun + sag moon), noticing and helping some trainees who were struggling with the choreo.
Spot how many sag mars there are 😂😭 Also the amount of aquarius mercuries, do I have a thing for these placements? 😭😶 Ig im attracted to unique voices and funky dancers… Also the amount of geminis and pisces 😶✋🏻🤝 love leos and cancers too.

Vietnam: A Reverse Angle
Call it guilt, or just avoidance, but Americans still seem reluctant to deal with the simple, familiar humanity of the Vietnamese as a people. If we acknowledge their palpable flesh and blood — not to mention recognizable human emotions — how then can we, as a nation, cope with the memory of a war that reduced the Vietnamese to convenient stereotypes, making them all the more easy to kill with impunity? At best, they were to be pitied. At worst, they were to be slaughtered. And millions of them were.
Most American films made about the Vietnam War, including two of my own, have not featured prominent Vietnamese characters. Platoon and Born on the Fourth of July told specific, grunt's-eye-view stories of the hellish misery our foot soldiers went through in that far-off place.
What's been missing from the screen is the reverse angle on the Vietnamese: what the war — or wars — were like from the perspective of the people living in Vietnam, a country with more than a thousand rich years of history and culture. [...]
As an infantryman in Vietnam, I was distrustful of the Vietnamese — all Vietnamese — because they posed a threat to me and my friends. It wasn't until later that I recognized what the American GIs and Vietnamese civilians had in common: fear and the need to survive under any circumstance. We were suspicious of each other, but in fact we shared a common bond of cold sweat and jangled nerves.
All survivors are linked by this mutual agony. In his powerful books about the Holocaust, Nobel Peace Prize winner Elie Wiesel reminds us that survivors are all charged with a sacred mission: to serve as witnesses and teachers of what they suffered, thereby preventing such catastrophes from occurring again.
Perhaps that's why I keep returning to Vietnam, both actually and cinematically. Some have suggested that Heaven and Earth is the final third of my "Vietnam Trilogy." In fact, I could make twenty more films about the war, so great a role did it play in my life and the soul of our country and the world. [...]
Among other shared experiences on opposite ends of the globe, Le Ly [Hayslip] and I both had to tolerate any number of lies from soldiers and politicians in our respective countries. Their final goal, of course, was to put guns in our hands and ask us to point them at each other. Le Ly was abused by soldiers of both the North and South. [...] The point of Heaven and Earth is neither to vilify the Americans and glorify the Vietnamese nor to create new "politically correct" stereotypes to replace the bad ones. Good and bad people of all backgrounds and persuasions blew through Le Ly's life, and of course she finally did succeed in the United States, as did millions of immigrants before her. She"s now the daughter of two countries, two cultures: and her three sons also share the merged heritage. [...]
I also wanted Heaven and Earth to respond to, in part, the blind militarism and mindless revisionism of the Vietnam War as typified by a certain odious brand of thinking that has snaked its way into our culture over the past decade or so, in which the conflict is re-fought in comic-book style by American superheroes, with a brand new ending . . . we win! Within the moronic context of these ideas, hundreds of nameless, faceless Vietnamese are blithely and casually shot, stabbed, and blown to smithereens, utterly without the benefit of human consideration. Entire villages are triumphantly laid to waste, with not one microsecond of thought or care given to those inside the little bamboo hamlets being napalmed. Who were they? There were names and faces and histories attached to those bodies littering one end of Vietnam to the other between 1963 and 1975. [...]
It is [a] song of peace, rather than war and vengeance, that deserves to be passed down from one generation to the next. Le Ly and I both lived to tell the tale. Let's hope that our children don't have to tell the same one.
-Oliver Stone, "Vietnam: A Reverse Angle," introduction to the narrative screenplay of his film Heaven and Earth (1993), based on the memoirs of Le Ly Hayslip. (From The Making of Heaven and Earth by Michael Singer.)
Oliver Stone is a twice wounded U.S combat veteran of the Vietnam War turned Oscar winning screenwriter and director. Le Ly is a Vietnamese civilian who was imprisoned, tortured and abuse by North Vietnamese, South Vietnamese and U.S. forces during the war. Together, they collaborated on the film Heaven and Earth, based on Le Ly's life and released in 1993. Le Ly also converted Stone to Vietnamese Buddhism. As of 2023, the two still spend Tết together every year.

Student protesters and activists assaulted supporters of the ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasinain Bangladesh on Thursday.
Armed with bamboo sticks, iron rods and pipes, the protesters used violence to prevented the supporters of the former PM from reaching the previous residence of her father, assassinated independence leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, in Dhaka.
The house in Dhaka's Dhanmondi area has become a museum to showcase mementos and other objects from a military coup on August 15, 1975, when Rahman was assassinated along with most of his family. The Bangabandhu Memorial Museum was torched by the protesters hours after Hasina's ousting earlier this month. The ousting followed weeks of unrest during which more than 300 people lost their lives.
Hasina called on supporters to march
Thursday is the anniversary of Rahman's assassination, and Hasina, now self- exiled in India, urged her supporters to pay their respects to her father.
The anniversary was viewed as a public holiday and a day of mourning under the Hasina administration. The new interim government has shelved the practice.
At the time of her father's death, Hasina and her younger sister were visiting Germany.
On Thursday, many of the supporters were manhandled while journalists were threatened for filming the incidents at the scene,  witnesses said.
UN expected to send fact-finding mission to Dhaka
Meanwhile, a United Nations mission is due to head to Dhaka next week to investigate alleged atrocities committed during the violent protests that saw the end of Hasina's time as leader.
"The mission will act independently," Gwyn Lewis, the UN resident coordinator in Bangladesh, told reporters.
The interim government will extend every possible assistance the UN to make the investigation credible and impartial, Touhid Hossain, the foreign affairs adviser, told the media after meeting with Lewis.

Growth of Organic Farming in India
Tumblr media
As on 31st March 2021 total area under organic certification process (registered under National Programme for Organic Production) is 4339184.93 ha (2020-21). This includes 2657889.33 ha cultivable area and another 1681295.61 ha for wild harvest collection.
Among all the States, Madhya Pradesh has the largest area under organic certification followed by Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Odisha, Sikkim and Uttar Pradesh. In 2016, Sikkim achieved a remarkable distinction of converting its entire cultivable land (more than 75, 000 ha) under organic certification.
In the financial year of 2020, over two percent of India’s net area was under organic farming, a major increase from last year. Overall, the area under organic farming has increased continuously, signifying more demand for organic food across the country.
Growth trajectory
Since 1985, the total area of farmland under organic production has increased steadily over the last three decades, states Organic farming in India: a vision towards a healthy nation, a research paper by Suryatapa Das, Annalakshmi Chatterjee and Tapan Kumar Pal. Not many know that by 2017, there was a total of 69.8 million hectares of organically managed land recorded globally which represents a 20% growth or 11.7 million hectares of land in comparison to the year 2016. This is the largest growth ever recorded in organic farming. In 2017, it was also reported that day to day the number of organic products increases considerably all over the world. Now, Asia contributes to the largest percentage (40%) of organic production in the world and India contributes to be largest number of organic producer (835 000)
Government sops
The major states involved in organic agriculture in India are Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh. The Indian government has, over the years, launched and implemented a number of programs and schemes for boosting organic farming in the country. A few notable ones include The Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana, Organic Value Chain Development in North Eastern Region Scheme, Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana, The mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (a. National Horticulture Mission, b. Horticulture Mission for North East and Himalayan states, c. National Bamboo Mission, d. National Horticulture Board, e. Coconut Development Board, d. Central Institute for Horticulture, Nagaland), among several others.
The research paper also highlights that India ranked eighth with respect to the land of organic agriculture and 88th in the ratio of organic crops to agricultural land as per Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority and a report by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture.
What it entails
Organic farming can be categorised into two: pure organic farming where no unnatural chemical used and all fertilisers and pesticides are obtained from natural sources; integrated organic farming that comprises integrated nutrients management and integrated pest management.
Benefits of organic farming
If you have been curious as to why we are seeing a sudden spurt in start-ups and farmers specialising in all things organic, it is because the method of farming has a range of benefits. Here are a few:
Better tasting, nutritious produce
It has been proven that fruits and vegetables that are raised using organic methods have a much better taste than other mechanically farmed ones. This is because they are given a much longer time to develop and are free of artificial chemicals.
Lesser pesticide and chemical residue in soil
Organic farming minimises and significantly does away with the use of widely-used pesticides and chemicals. This goes on to reduce major environmental issues such as pollution and ensures the health of soil, water, air and flora and fauna.
A natural environment
Organic farming usually goes down in a natural environment, states a report in akmindia.in. Unnecessary enclosures are not used for the crops or plants and by doing so, productivity is increased and is way better compared to closed spaces. An open and natural area for growing the crops would give them wild and instinctive growing nature. This is ideal for the crops and is one of the factors that leads to the plants being organic.
Promotion of biodiversity
Crop rotation to build soil fertility and raising animals naturally helps promote biodiversity, which promotes greater health across all living species. As organic farms provide safe havens to wildlife, local ecosystems also improve. (precisionagricultu.re)
Less energy consumed
As we now know, organic farming does not rely on the use of synthetic fertilisers and avoiding them leads to energy conservation. It is because the manufacturing process of these artificial chemicals consumes a significant amount of energy. On an average, it is safe to say that the energy usage is lower by at least 30-50% in the organic farming systems, states the European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine.

Molded Pulp Packaging Market: Sustainability Innovates Packing Processes
Tumblr media
According to United Nations Environment Programme, around 36% of all plastics produced are applied in packaging, including single-use plastic containers. However, plastic pollution is a grave environmental concern, with around 85% of plastic packing ending up in landfills or as unregulated waste. The widespread plastic contamination has fostered the growth of plastic-free packaging solutions like molded pulp. Based on our estimates, the molded pulp packaging market is set to advance significantly over the forecast period 2023-2030, with a CAGR of 7.19%.
Molded pulp or molded fiber packaging has been restricted to niche segments, including egg trays. However, the growing use of various wood and non-wood pulp sources in manufacturing has expanded its application scope to various sectors, including beauty, food, and electronics. For instance, Knoll Packaging introduced its 100% Ecoform molded pulp compacts (using bamboo, wood, and sugarcane fibers) to replace conventional plastic compacts.
Consumer inclination towards greener products has dramatically increased molded fiber inclusion across multiple consumer goods industries, especially food packaging.
Sustainability Reforms Packaging Approach
Food packaging is among the major application categories in the molded pulp packaging market. Since the material is fabricated of a microporous structure enabling water absorption, its demand for perishable food packing has elevated. Moreover, its lightweight and high-strength properties have fueled its adoption for ready-to-eat meals and beverages. Plates, clamshells, cups, and bowls are widely adapted as packing solutions for various consumables, including vegetables, fruits, and juices. As per the World Economic Forum, the food industry accounts for over a third of global greenhouse gas emissions, which significantly drives the demand for sustainable solutions like molded pulp fibers.
Our analysis shows that Asia-Pacific leads the molded pulp packaging market globally. The rising disposable income and strategic initiatives heavily prompt the region’s growth. For instance, in March 2023, PulPac announced Nippon Molding Co Ltd as its first licensee in Japan, expanding its dry molded fiber production to Asia. Further, in April 2023, Sanofi and Haleon associated with PA Consulting and PulPac’s Bottle Collective Mission to develop a recyclable high-speed, low-cost dry molded fiber bottle production process. Such steps are thus expected to widen the scope of the studied market across the APAC region.
Technology-Driven Packaging: A Step Ahead for Molded Pulp
Advanced technologies like 3D printing have made molded pulp packaging manufacturing less energy-intensive. One such instance is HP’s Molded Fiber Advanced Tooling Technology, which enables fast and advanced design and production of molder fiber in 2 weeks as opposed to 4-6 weeks via conventional methods. As per the company, the end-to-end solution helps reduce maintenance and offers mass customization capabilities.
Over the past years, manufacturing technology has advanced immensely, giving final products smoother surfaces and refined designs. This upgraded appearance has also expanded the application range of pulp packaging across healthcare, industrial, and personal care industries. Based on the premise of eliminating costly production, 3D printing further emerges as an eco-friendly manufacturing solution. This ultimately creates opportunities for molded pulp manufacturers.
E-Commerce Expansion Amplifies Molded Packaging
Online shopping trends have existed for several years. However, COVID-19 accelerated its growth, resulting in e-commerce sales surging from 16% to 19% in 2020, as per UNCTAD report. Particularly, the food delivery sector witnessed robust growth, leading to the expansion of various delivery applications, including UberEats, Postmates, and DoorDash. Since molded pulp packaging offers easy transportation and supports recycling, several e-commerce players have adopted this packaging method. Therefore, expanding online sales creates a profitable market space for molded pulp in the packaging industry.

FAQs:
Q1) Which are the key types in the molded pulp packaging market?
Thick wall, thermoformed, transfer, and processed as key molded types in the market.
Q2) Which are the major molded pulp manufacturers?
Genpak LLC, UFP Technologies Inc, Sabert Corporation, Eco-Products Inc, Thermoform Engineered Quality LLC, Huhtamaki OYJ, Pro-Pac Packaging Group, Brodrene Hatmann AS, Sonoco Products Company, and Fabri-Kal are major molded pulp manufacturers.

E.C.H.O stands for Educational Concerns for Haiti Organization and was started by Richard Dugger and others who saw the poverty in Haiti and wanted to do something about it as we are all people, so everyone is entitled to a good life. The mission of ECHO is “Following Jesus by reducing hunger and improving lives worldwide through partnerships that equip people with agricultural resources and skills.” Following this mission has led to helping millions of people all over the world with food and economic resources. ECHO has given training in over 190 countries all over the world with facilities in Florida USA, Asia, East and West Africa.
I learned that a garden for food doesn’t have to be a big thing but can be in anything from an old tire or cinder blocks. It is these kinds of options that provide those in less fortunate situations the opportunity to grow food for their family and possibly sell excess to make money. This promotes sustainability and by not making these seemingly dooming goals possible for people in every situation and prevents hungry mouths and repurposing waste then letting it get put into dumps. This type of organization is helpful as it gives people in dire straits hope that good will come. It gives farmers in developing nations a way to have a good and sustainable income. As well it can show us who live in a wealthy society how we can be healthier and grow our own food then relying on food that has been chemically preserved and trucked across the country. One adaptive technology discussed is a way to take land on a grade and make it grow crops as people want flat squares for farming. Some important plants are bamboo which are used for structures but also have some parts that can be used for cooking. The neem tree has leaves which can be used for health and pesticide purposes. It slows swelling of bites and can drive pests away from plants and creatures including people. I’ve been wanting to have a small garden of my own and the video tour of ECHO has given me some ideas of how to make that dream a reality with the tire or maybe keystone gardening techniques.
It is important to have a biodiversity of food not just as a farmer but also as a consumer. Having a variety as a farmer means there is a stable income and an even workload to be done. As a consumer you need a variety in your diet to get all the necessary nutrients in order to have a healthy life. This is especially important for children as their bodies are changing and growing. I love strawberries but most times of year they are imported from other states across the US. Only during February and March am I able to get Florida grown strawberries usually from Plant City. I wish I could get Florida strawberries more often throughout the year.

GOVERNMENT AIMING AT THE HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE BAMBOO SECTOR
Tumblr media
In view of the enormous potential of bamboo group of plants in contributing to rejuvenate rural economy of the country, the government both at the Central and States level has been focussing on the tapping the unexplored opportunities in the sector. Some of these initiatives are covered below:
i)National Bamboo Mission: Based on the report “National Mission on Bamboo Technology and Trade Development” published by the then Planning Commission in 2003, the Government of India (GOI) launched the National Bamboo Mission (NBM) in 2006. Multi-disciplinary and multi-dimensional in its approach, major interventions planned under it were to focus on research and development, plantation on forest and non-forest lands and to ensure the supply of quality planting materials. The main weakness of the scheme had been the absence of a linkage between the bamboo farmers and the industry and a strong value addition component.
ii)Restructured National Bamboo Mission: Restructured NBM was launched in 2018-19 as a component of National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture (NMSA) for implementation with the following objectives:
To increase the area under bamboo plantation. To improve post-harvest management.
To promote product development.
To promote skill development, capacity building, and awareness generation. The mission has its focus on development of bamboo in the north-eastern region and some other states. The key features of the mission included connecting farmers to markets and a direct subsidy of 50% given to farmers at Rs 1.00 lakh per ha.
iii)Amendment in the Indian Forest Act, 2017 The amendment of the Indian Forest Act in 2017, removing bamboo from the definition of trees was a landmark event for promotion of the sector, following which bamboo grown outside forests no longer needs felling and transit permissions.
iv)State Governments Initiatives for Bamboo Sector Promotion
The Assam State Bamboo & Cane Policy, 2019.
The Tripura State Bamboo Policy The Nagaland Bamboo Policy
Kerala State Bamboo Mission
v) National Mission of Bamboo Applications Under the National Mission of Bamboo Applications (NMBA) of the Department of Science and Technology, the North East Centre for Technology Application & Reach (NECTAR) has been creating a bamboo-based ecosystem and developing technologies, and promoting and commercializing them. NECTAR has also created a centre of excellence having zero waste-based complete sets of available technologies at the NECTAR-Bamboo & Cane Development Institute (BCDI), Agartala.

बांस की खेती लगे एक बार : मुनाफा कमायें बारम्बार
Tumblr media

Molded Pulp Packaging Market: Sustainability Innovates Packing Processes
According to United Nations Environment Programme, around 36% of all plastics produced are applied in packaging, including single-use plastic containers. However, plastic pollution is a grave environmental concern, with around 85% of plastic packing ending up in landfills or as unregulated waste. The widespread plastic contamination has fostered the growth of plastic-free packaging solutions like molded pulp. Based on our estimates, the molded pulp packaging market is set to advance significantly over the forecast period 2023-2030, with a CAGR of 7.19%.
Tumblr media
Molded pulp or molded fiber packaging has been restricted to niche segments, including egg trays. However, the growing use of various wood and non-wood pulp sources in manufacturing has expanded its application scope to various sectors, including beauty, food, and electronics. For instance, Knoll Packaging introduced its 100%Ecoform molded pulp compacts (using bamboo, wood, and sugarcane fibers) to replace conventional plastic compacts.
