You know something that I'm surprised no one talks about, at least from what I've seen. Cyclops was tricked into naming his kid after one of his enemies.

Let me break it down:

Nathan Charles Summers, also known as the mutant, Cable, but we won't talk about his alias.

Summers is Scott's last name, no problems there.

Charles named after his mentor and founder of the X-Men, also no problem.

So that leaves Nathan, which was suggested by Jean at least in the show, but as we know, that isn't Jean. It's her clone, Madeline Pyror, who was created by Mr. Sinister a.k.a. Nathaniel Essex.

So yeah, another reason why Mr. Sinister is a piece of sh!t.

Rating Miraculous Super Names Based on Their Creativity

(Not based on whether I like them or think they’re catchy—just creativity. Personally, I like/love most of the characters and their names (and really wouldn’t change them at all), so that’s not going to color my thoughts on them, really. Also, I will talk about cultures and languages in this post and I’m not making any comments about them themselves or anything like that—just the creativity of the characters that may *have* said cultures and languages—using the knowledge of them I know or looked up. This post is also both slightly serious and very much not at the same time, lol)

Ladybug: Marinette had several little pet-names in the Origins episode; Wonder-Bug (my personal fav), Bug-Lady, and Clumsy-Girl, and she took the one thought of “well, Tikki said I get magical ladybugs to fix everything and I have a red and black motif, so I’ll call myself Ladybug” (while Alya took the same information and made the most complex names known in existence 😆). I’d say, about 4-4.5 out of 10 for her main super name; it’s not the most creative, but it’s not the worst on this list, lolol.

For her other names:

Ladynoire: (They both named each other for the Kwami-swap if you watch the episode, so those two names are really a judgement on the other person’s creativity, lol). Adrien mushed both his own super name and Ladybug’s super name together and recreated their ship name, basically. Eh, I’d say probably maybe a solid 6 out of 10? More creative, but he could’ve just read all their in-universe fans’ discourse and gave their ship name to her, which would fit with his crush on her 😆.

Multi-Mouse: 6.5? She used the fact that she used *multiple* miraculous *multiple* times and that she was a mouse for her name.

Her other names are basically just putting other miraculous or power-ups with the name ‘Ladybug’: soooo…3? 4?

Cat Noir: for him, it depends on which of the two main dubs you watch; if you watch the English dub, Adrien went, “well, two of the languages I’m most fluent in is English and French, and I am a black cat, so I’ll honor both languages and call myself Cat Noir”, which is slightly more creative. But if you use the French dub version of his name, Chat Noir, it sounds like he just went “I’m a black cat…I’ll just call myself ‘Black Cat’”—which *is* an actual character in other superhero media (The Black Cat in Marvel Comics)— but he’s not even *the* black cat, he’s only ‘Black Cat’ 😆. So my vote is English dub = 4.5, French dub = 4.

Mr. Bug: Marinette took her base name and gave him the male prefix instead, which, okay, it does work and she brought something else to the table; but if I’m being honest, we could’ve gotten the name ‘Lord Bug’, and that would’ve been funny, lol (jk). 6-6.5 out of 10.

Cat Walker: 9.5-10. Yes, I rate this as one of the highest (if not the highest) in this list—here’s why; he’s acting more like his ‘perfect Adrien’ golden boy model persona, a.k.a. he’s putting on a show, and his name is a play on the word ‘Cat Walk’…which is all three, a way to walk on the runway, the runway itself, and an elevated bridge walked on above a stage for behind-the-scenes work. All that meaning in his name AND it’s a pun??? Absolute freaking amazing job, Adrien; you rocked it!

His other names are again, pretty much just putting his main super name with the various other miraculous and power ups: so again, 3? 4? EXCEPT for his ice power-up which is called ‘Ice Noir’, which translates to ‘Black Ice’ which is a dangerous type of ice and fits into his destruction motif, so that one gets a bit more; I’d say about 6 out of 10.

Rena Rouge; depending on what you take it as, it’s either a play on the words “red fox” in French (Renard Rouge)—it’s creative because it’s a *play* on the words, not the actual words themselves—or Alya used her both her Creole roots and French language as inspiration and used the Creole word for ‘fox’ (Rena) and French word for ‘red’ (Rouge). First possibility: 5, second: 6-6.5

Carapace: Nino used his knowledge of turtles and his super ability of protecting people as inspiration for his name—Carapace, which is the word for a turtle’s shell. Ehh, 5?

Queen Bee: Chloe used both the animal super she is and her status as inspiration for her name—plus it’s also a pun, which makes it even more fun. She’s a bee, she’s the popular girl in school (a.k.a. a ‘queen bee’ in school), it fits her personality, and she ran with it. A solid 7, maybe

Hawkmoth: I mean, he’s not very creative here—but at least Gabriel chose a *type* of moth to use as a name…why he chose a *moth* name in the first place when he’s a *butterfly* is another thing, tho, lolol! But I did read that Hawk Moths are known for their fast flying, so I guess that works for the Akumas. If it was a contest for catchy, I’d give it a higher rating, but for creativity? Less than our main heroes: 3. I wouldn’t give him a ton because he’s a butterfly instead of a moth, but he did choose a fitting type so…

Bunnyx: Alix literally just put an ‘X’ after the word ‘bunny’; she gets, like, a 1 😂.

Caprikid: Nathaniel used him being a goat-inspired superhero, the goat horoscope, the fact he is a kid, and the fact that goat children are called ‘kids’ put together to make his name. Pretty awesome, actually. 7-8? It just fits very well.

King Monkey: I gotta admit, I wasn’t gonna give Kim a very high score ‘cause I thought he was basically just the miraculous version of Donkey Kong, lolol; but I looked him up on Miraculous Wiki, and it says his name was inspired by an ancient Chinese legend and the novel has been adapted into a show called “Monkey Magic”, which is kind of a pretty cool fitting-sounding reference. So if Kim actually thought it through like that, 7-7.5? But knowing Kim, and if he just went, “dude, imma be like Donkey Kong! What sounds like Donkey Kong???….. King Monkey!”, then I’m only gonna give him like a 3-3.5 as well 😆.

Viperion: Luka did alright; not amazing, but it fits. ‘Viper’, a type of snake, for a snake-themed hero. 4-4.5?

Purple Tigress: …all Juleka did was was describe herself 😆. But she did do better than Alix, so I’ll give her a 2, lolol!

Miss Hound: I feel like Sabrina is in the group of heroes who went really literal, but still tried, so I’ll give her the same rating—4-4.5.

Minotaurox: Ivan used the animal words Minotaur and Ox, and put them together; an ox is, well, an ox, and a Minotaur is a tough creature from Greek mythology that is half-man and half-bull, so it does have some coolness to it. 7-7.5

Pegasus: Max did use a cool figure for his name, but he only used the fact that he was a horse and the very well known figure of Pegasus together for his name. Don’t get me wrong, it’s pretty cool, but after some of the other names on this list, and how some of them fit together; I feel like it’s just not *as* creative of a name. I think I’ll give him maybe a 5?

Polymouse: Mylene used the word ‘poly’ which means ‘many’ and mouse, so I’ll give her the same as I gave Multimouse, since they’re very similar—6.5

Ryuko: I didn’t know what this meant until I looked it up on Miraculous Wiki, and it says that while it can have many meanings in Japanese; it’s most likely that it means “child of the dragon”, and that just sounds cool as heck. To me, it sounds like Kagami pushed the ‘having a pun or fitting mythological/cultural figure as part of the name’ thing to the side and just made up a cool-sounding name on her own, which is pretty cool and creative! 8? 8.5?

Pigella: I feel like Rose just put a feminine suffix to the word ‘pig’, which…doesn’t seem as creative. To be fair to her, I don’t think it’s very easy to make a cool, creative sounding name incorporating the word *pig* into it. It does sound like she tried, and the flair she put at the end does fit her personality, so I’ll give her a little more credit. 5?

Rooster Bold: Marc tried, like Rose, but…. It doesn’t feel like a creative name; just his animal and what he becomes after being a hero. 3, maybe?

GUYS, I did NOT know what ‘Argos’ meant, so I looked it up on regular Wikipedia, and it’s a ship from Greek Mythology that carried the Argonauts on their quest to get the Golden Fleece and that, quote, “some sources state that since people had not seen a ship before, they described the Argo as a monster”, unquote!! 😭😭😂😂😂 Does that NOT sound like Felix? Okay, that’s it; Felix wins this whole thing!! Cat Walker was a good second, but, sorry Adrien! Your dramatic and showman cousin wins the competition! He gets an 11 out of 10.

…��I absolutely love how half of these characters just literally used their animal names as 3/4’s of their super name, and then there’s freaking Felix who uses his entire backstory/character arc as a super name 😂. It really shows the range of the show, fr fr!

P.S. I realized I forgot about Mayura and Vesperia.

I looked it up and Reddit says that ‘Mayura’ means ‘peacock’, so…4.5-5?

Miraculous Wiki says that Vesperia’s name is derived from the Italian word ‘Vespa’, which means ‘wasp’, so her name means the female wasp. Sounds kinda cool and she added specificity to her animal, so 6?

Seeing people point of this recently but Evillustrator going after Chloe instead of Mandeleiev really did not make any sense.

I mean of course Chloe ain't no saint here since she did reveal he had a crush on Marinette, but Mendeleiev literally yelled at him in front of the entire class for drawing and further humiliates him by telling the entire class he's failing science before demanding he goes to the principal's office over drawing in her class.

Maybe he wanted to stop at Chloe's first before going to get revenge on his teacher? Either that, or he didn't know where she lived, so he stuck with Chloe.

Iris and Praxina being the focal points of the season

Remember, Praxina was created to be an anti-Iris, so there’s no better season than this one to explore that. 

Main conflict: Praxina is convinced Iris is responsible for Mephisto’s death (Iris didn’t kill Mephisto, it was a culmination of events that led to it, but Praxina needs a scapegoat, someone to dump her anger and grief on, because she can’t cope with loss in a healthy, non-destructive way). So, she is set on making Iris lose the people she cares about (Nathaniel, and also probably her friends), to make her feel the way she does.

The vision I have for these two in season 3 is that their actions will be correlated, each making the other do unspeakable things over accumulated resentment and hurt and grief, in a vicious cycle. Then somewhat meet in the middle at the end. Maybe…

Iris becoming more and more paranoid

Iris getting nervous everytime she sees a butterfly, for example. Very worried that she’s going to lose Nathaniel, her friends, her parents, or Ellira, at any moment. Makes her sometimes not be very rational. 

Maybe it will affect her relationship with Nathaniel too. Maybe she’ll think that in order to keep him safe from Praxina, she has to distance herself from him.

BECAUSE I WANT THIS GIRL TO GET SOME ARC TOO. Allow her to be angry, do questionable things, be flawed, be scared.

Guilt over Mephisto’s death

This one is for both Iris and Praxina. 

Because while Iris doesn’t have much to do with Mephisto’s death, I don’t doubt that part of her will start doubting it, wondering if everything that’s happening is, in fact, her fault. 

And Praxina, who didn’t appreciate her brother while he was right there next to her, finally realizing how much she actually needed him. You know what they say, you only truly appreciate someone after you lose them. AND THE GUILT-

More interactions between Iris and her parents

I just really really want this. And to learn more about the King and Queen of Ephedia. Because it has so much potential for added inner conflict inside Iris’ head. 

Because if you really think about it, the King and Queen of Ephedia are just strangers to her, who just so happened to be her birth parents. But weren’t the ones who raised her, who were there for her her whole life. Ellira was.

Not that it’s their fault. Not at all. They made a sacrifice to keep her safe. I know they would’ve done anything to see their little girl grow up. And Iris knows this, and I think, for a while, she’s going to feel a bit guilty for seeing Ellira as more of a parental figure than them. 

Also, I feel like Iris’ parents would never resent Ellira for this, but I do think they will be a little hurt. 

Iris attempting and failing to balance her Earth life with her Ephidean one

Because she will definitely be going back and forth between the two worlds, trying to keep everything balanced. Her social life with her friends on Earth, her relationship with Nathaniel, the band, her princess duties, the rebuilding of Ephedia, royal ceremonies, etc…

And if she had trouble before, I can’t imagine now.

Iris not being sure if she wants to become the future queen of Ephidea

Let’s face it. It was all really pretty and fun while they had the goal to defeat Gramorr and free Ephidea. No need to think about what would happen next, because even that was a big “if”. 

Now, Iris is finally gonna have to come to terms with the fact that she is THE future heir to the throne, But is she even fit to lead a whole kingdom? Does she even want to? Won’t that mean she’ll have to leave her Earth life behind? Nathaniel?

The King and Queen not approving of Iris’ relationship with Nathaniel

Not because they dislike him, or simply because he is human (they don’t seem like that kind of people), but because they want to protect their daughter from getting hurt. Not from him. But from having to inevitably let him go eventually. Again, she is the future queen. She has responsibilities on Ephidea, not on Earth.

Also, there’s this whole question line of “do ephideans live longer than earthlings?”. Because I feel like that's also relevant to this point.

Praxina slowly descending into madness (bonus points if physical corruption)

Her madness trip should be a linear thing, getting worse and worse each episode. 

More towards the end PLEASE fuck up her face a bit. Not necessarily permanently but like- I wanna see this girl with one side of her face corrupted with dark magic (we saw Gramorr underneath the mask), eyes red, going full eldritch abomination mode.

Her crying while laughing hysterically and maniacally AT LEAST ONCE please please.

Also, not to be that person, but she’s gonna be so hot that season, istg I’m not prepared.

What the fuck is up with those butterflies?????

Imma be real rn. I’m begging for the creators NOT to pull a Hawkmoth on Praxina. Let the butterflies be spies only, there’s no need for much else. If they make the butterflies mind control people, I'm gonna lose it. This isn’t miraculous 2.0.

Iris’ Shanilla form going batshit on Praxina/Big Final Battle

Because if Praxina does manage to kill someone or several people Iris loves, even if only temporarily (yall know this show is for kids, no one's dying permanently - though it would be cool to see a darker narrative), Iris is gonna lose it, and I expect a full dark shanilla mode. Going absolutely off the rails on Praxina, and then having an “oh shit, what am I doing?” moment.

Banes being shady and the true mastermind aka Final Boss

I want to see the build up to this, how he stays in Praxina’s shadow and “helps” her, making her feel like she’s in control, when she’s not.

And I fully believe Banes had his eye on her even before Gramorr was defeated. Not long before, but when there was only one gem left to complete the crown of Ephedia, and he started to suspect Gramorr’s chances at winning were slim, he definitely started to plot his next “puppet”.

Zenavion/Banes?????

Zenavion was mentioned once, but whyyyy??? My guess is that Banes is Zenavion. Or belonged to Zenavion/was his creation. But I’m leaning more towards the first one. Maybe he got himself turned into an entity of dark magic after years of meddling with power he shouldn’t have, leaving him stuck in that feline form with only a fraction of the power he once had? Sounds super interesting and would make for a great Final Boss.

What is his goal? Maybe to return to his full power and autonomy? Maybe he needed the power of the crown of Ephedia for that. 

That would explain why he picked Gramorr, who was in the same circles as the royal family, at the time.

Also Praxina blaming Iris, the princess of Ephedia, and future heir to the throne, for her brother’s death, and blaming her for it? Also very convenient that she was a young girl who had just lost her only support, and was completely alone and vulnerable. Easy to manipulate.

Gramorr’s backstory

I need it. For someone who was the main villain for two whole seasons, he sure got no depth at all. Which was kinda disappointing. Hope this season clears everything up. 

Perhaps Banes manipulated him and he never realized it? What were his initial motivations? His past? Also what was the deal with him and the royal family? With Morgane? I bet all those people have a lot to say and explain about him.

The mask

I’m sure Zenavion created it, centuries ago. I want to know how it works, how much it controls the user, how fast it corrupts them, why it was created in the first place, and how it ended up in Gramorr’s hands in the first place.

Also wouldn’t it be so cool if the current user of the mask had access to the memories of the previous users??? That way we could get Gramorr’s backstory through Praxina, like YES.

The gem in Gramorr’s hand that was pierced by Iris in the finale, is now on Praxina’s chest. Do with that information what you will.

Big Betrayal moment between Banes and Praxina

Gramorr/Praxina parallels

Cause it’s inevitably gonna happen. Maybe he promises her a way to bring Mephisto back. But it’s all a ploy to get her to do horrible things for him, to allow him to return to his true form, and has nothing to do with Mephisto.

Girl is gonna be played big time. 

Because now they’re kinda connected, with Praxina being manipulated by Banes the same way Gramorr probably was, in the past. And both ultimately got betrayed by him.

Praxina getting a long deserved reality-check

Because as much as I love her, she needs someone to spew some hard truths on her. It IS her fault. She IS a bad person, and a bad sister. And in order to get redeemed, she needs to confront that.

Izira’s medallion????

Anyone remember how the one object with immense power and the ability to TURN BACK TIME literally fell down a cliff during the final battle with Gramorr? Because I sure do. 

And this could be a super irrelevant thing, but I do think it’s interesting that it fell in roughly the same place where Mephisto would have (hypothetically wink wink). 

Don’t know what they’d do with this necessarily, but it has the potential to be a very important plot point.

Mephisto being alive (duhhhh)

As long as it’s not shown from the beginning. I feel like Praxina’s whole arc would be much more satisfactory if he was only revealed to be alive, halfway through the season or later, in the very end. Note that when I say “revealed to be alive”, I mean, to us, the people watching the show, not to Praxina. She should only know this at the end of the season. For the plot.

Mephisto donning the scars and maybe some type of disfiguration on the side of his body that took the blast. It would make sense for him to be able to teleport, but the half of his body that was leaning more towards the energy source took most of the blow).

Mephisto having his own mini character arc, away from the main conflict

He probably needs to heal from the blast, and that would be hard for him, both physically and mentally. If part of his face/body gets “burned” by the blast, my boy is definitely not gonna take it like a champ at first.

Also, I’ve said this before, but I don’t think he’d go look for Praxina immediately after he’s doing better. Not because he doesn’t care about her, or doesn’t miss her, but because he thinks she doesn’t need him and is better off without him.

Iris (finally) telling Nathaniel the truth

I’d like to see him struggle with something like this, maybe meet some new characters and form connections with other people. It’s a great opportunity for him to mature and learn who he really is, outside of Gramorr’s or his sister’s shadow. An opportunity to atone for his mistakes, and make up for it. He was, and a lot of people forget, a war criminal.

Sibling reunion

I want tears and a proper hug, and Praxina completely falling apart. Bonus points if she doesnt want to believe it's actually him at first, because that would be too good to be true. They're both fucked up, both physically and mentally, but they're together at last.

And him NOT forgetting it right afterwards.

I want this so badly. I wanna meet more kingdoms, see how they look, what other colors represent them, the cultures, the people, etc…

I’m a sucker for this, and no one can deny that they got confused as fuck when the supposed “voice-based” powers, only actually matter in the first episode and then got dropped completely. Yeah, I know, the writers probably forgot. But please just make up a convenient connection to fill in that plot hole. This show needs to fix these damn plot holes.

Ephidea still very much being in shambles, and in need of rebuilding

Cause it can’t be that easy to put a whole planet back on track after a 15+ year old war, neither physically nor politically.

I wanna see meetings between all kingdom leaders, discussions on how to proceed, the release of war prisoners, etc… 

Oh, and the imprisonment and persecution of any of Gramorr’s former associates.

Backstory on how Talia and Auriana first met

I need it. And also an explanation on why they were the ones chosen to go to Earth, and find and train Iris, and WHO chose them for that mission exactly. 

Also, how did they even know Iris was on Earth? Fix these plot holes fr.

And I mean this in a “completely drop the old ones” kinda way. Not because I don’t like them, but because I feel that, with all that’s changing in the show, now that the same formulaic plot has finally broken, the outfits should also change. To indicate a new era of sorts.

I just want a little more light in this. Some Talia backstory as well, because we know she was bullied for it when she was a kid.

Have Talia and Praxina met before the start of the show???

It’s been pointed out several times that Praxina seems to know an awful lot about Xeris, and even possesses some Xerian artifacts and scrolls. Why and how did she get her hands on it? And it would make sense if Mephisto also seemed to know these things, but he doesn’t.

Also, they seem to have some underlying tension. Which could be simply because- well, they’re on opposite sides and hate each other?? Would be perfectly plausible. Or maybe they’ve met each other before. How and when? I wouldn’t know.

A musical episode???

Because wdym you have all these talented voice actors that sang in My Little Pony, and fucking BARBIE (don’t forget Praxina IS Barbie. They have the same voice actress), and never once have we heard ANY of them sing with their actual voices. 

Also it would be so fun for a change. Please, just one, I’m begging you.

A little more of Carissa and Lyna

I know a lot of people love them, and so do I, but I really don’t want them to join the gang permanently. Definitely not join the band. This ain’t winx club.

Still, I do want to learn a bit more about them, some backstory insights, their families, how they met each other, etc…

What happened to Lev?

Is he actually dead? Or did he manage to escape and joined the resistance? I just need some confirmation.

Because if he is alive, he’s gonna be helping rebuild Ephidea for sure. It's gonna be interesting to see the dynamic he’s gonna have with Iris, in this scenario.

But just like with Lyna and Carissa, to me, personally, he is not a priority.

I would love for these characters to be explored more if there was a fourth season, but I just feel like, in season 3, there are just so many more important things to touch upon, and so many new things happening, that too many unnecessary details would make it lose impact.

Maddie Pryor, Real Girl Part 1

I really appreciate that The First Krakoan Age, and specifically Hellions, refused to minimise the harm that had been done to Madelyne Pryor. Sure, she embraced demons and tried to end the world but I support women's wrongs. Plus she had really solid reasons.

For some reason she was in the Essex State Home for Foundlings when the Hellions arrived to demolish it, AKA destroying a clone farm full of things he'd thrown away under the Quiet Council's mandate. Heartbreakingly, when Alex asks when she returned, she tells him 'years ago, and noone cared.'

Again, she's been left behind and thrown away by the popular mutants. An outcast among outcasts. I love the mouth disappearing spell, it's gotta be very useful especially if you're tired of having men speak over you.

It's her story, and she deserves control of it. Shut the fuck up, Alex.

Yeah, sure dude. But maybe hear what she has to say first? Obviously I live for their drama, and clearly Maddie does too. Very clear power dynamics. Healthy? Fuck no, but she deserves it, as a treat.

'It's like I don't exist until I start hurting people' is such a killer line. Also, John Greycrow did do those things. It's unclear how much agency he had as they were/are both cloned by Sinister, but it's accurate and I love to see it said aloud.

Her plan is definitely extreme with a lot of collateral damage, but the feelings and grievances are valid. That Alex Summers agrees probably tells us it's a bit much.

I'm actually not sure what's happening here aside from the obvious, but it sucks to see her die. Little surprised a single bullet could get past her magic and telekinesis, so maybe it isn't the real Maddie. It doesn't matter, though.

I'd call this a sad fridging designed to fuel Havok's angst and character growth, but this isn't the last we see of her. It is sad, though. Her grievances have been raised but not heard or addressed, and they must be. Next time we'll see how.

Since some of you have been curious about the ROs parents, I thought I’d just make a comprehensive list for you all! It’ll also help me in having something to easily reference back to when it’s needed.

Arthur Kingston — Father

Personality: Holds a great love for the outdoors — fishing, gardening, bird watching, etc — there isn’t anything like being surrounded by the crisp air of nature. A steadfast presence, never wavering or faltering, Arthur stands by his family through any storm; always willing to be a rock, always willing to shoulder their burdens if it meant they’d smile just a bit brighter.

Appearance: Standing at around 6’6”, Arthur has a lumberjack physique — strong but still looking huggable. Medium brown skin causes the gold within his honey brown eyes to stand out, complementing the dark black of his curly hair; that he typically cuts short, only ever allowing it to grow out during the winter months.

Ursula Kingston — Mother

Personality: Stricter than her husband, Ursula expects order and discipline within her house, but, despite that, she’s extremely loving and never feels more at peace than when her cubs are with her. Even if she’s hard to read at times, and her barking orders can be quite intimidating, there’s nothing she wouldn’t do for her family. The absolute epitome of a mama bear.

Appearance: With a taller stature, around 6’3”, Ursula has a stout physique. Medium brown skin complements the sharp brown of her gaze, allowing for her dark brown curls, that she typically has styled to just beneath her chin, to stand out elegantly. She’s a woman that exudes strength and serenity in equal measures.

Alaric Voltaire — Father

Personality: Alaric is a steadfast man that doesn’t take failure lightly. To some he can seem cruel — even to his own family — but he’s deeply committed to the vampiric race; ensuring its continued survival well into the future. He’s cunning, ambitious, perceptive, and, above all, intelligent enough to use the aforementioned traits of himself like weapons.

Appearance: He’s an imposingly tall man, standing at around 6’9”, with a muscular physique. Chilling sea green eyes, that are reminiscent of an endless winter, offsets the almost boyish onyx curls that frame his face, the longest of which falls to just over his shoulders; bringing focus to the dips of his cheeks and sharpness of his jaw. He has a fair complexion.

Yvonne Voltaire — Step Mother — ⟡

Personality: Yvonne, despite what some may expect, is a gently soft-spoken woman that offsets the chill her husband constantly brings. However, don’t let her sweet smiles and docile disposition fool you — there’s a reason she caught Alaric’s eyes enough for him to marry her. She’s a woman that would do anything to get what she wants or to protect her family.

Appearance: Dwarfed by her husband by a foot, as she stands only at 5’9”, Yvonne makes up for it by the general aura of her presence upon entering a room. Golden white hair falls to the middle of her back in waves, bringing out the honeyed undertone to her porcelain complexion, and complementing the ocean blue of her gaze. She has a slender build with a light musculature.

Lucian Aurelia — Father

Personality: He’s the kind of man to be in the middle of court with his child proudly situated on his thigh. Family, to him, has always meant the most — it’s fortunate that his wife has a propensity for dealing with the nobles and dignitaries. Soft-hearted and soft spoken, it’s of no surprise that many liken him to a teddy bear.

Appearance: Standing at a modest 5’6”, King Lucian has never let what he lacks vertically influence him the slightest. Thick honey-blonde locks of hair fall across his a beige-toned forehead, always being met with a flippant comb-through by his fingers, which brings out the warm gold within his gaze; crimson rarely ever making an appearance. From days of throwing his children into the air, or practicing with his guard, or running through the halls of the palace in a game of tag, King Lucian has developed a rather buff physique.

Elena Aurelia — Mother

Personality: She puts her responsibilities to the Eclipse Throne above all — even if it means she’s absent at times — but Elena has never wavered in shielding her children from any harm; even if her husband is the one they typically go to. Having a quick wit, paired with a silver tongue, and an attention to detail, Elena has done much for the supernatural world as a whole.

Appearance: Queen Elena stands at around 6’4”, her tall stature complementing her lithe physique. Raven black hair, that seems iridescent underneath the sun, falls down to her hips in a beautiful cascade; bringing out the pink hue of her full lips. Golden tanned skin causes the crimson within her dual-colored gaze to stand out, but the soft aureate quality acts as a gentle backdrop.

Dante Grant — Father

Personality: An apex predator, if there was ever one. Dante Grant enjoys the thrill of the hunt, the anticipation that thrums through his being, bloodlust coursing through his veins. He’s sadistic, only rarely showing mercy, but even then you’d probably wish you were dead, and revels in the fear he instills in others. It’s an intoxicating drug that he’ll forever chase the high of.

Appearance: An intimidating man standing at 6’8”, with an olive complexion. Black hair is styled neatly, with the sides cropped short and the top a bit longer, sometimes causing the strands to fall across his forehead. He has dark brown, nearly black, eyes that are as cold as obsidian. Dante has numerous tattoos: both his arms have sleeves, across his chest, and on the left side of his neck. He has a muscular physique.

Lucinda Grant — Mother — ⟡

Personality: Many who meet Lucinda Grant liken her to a viper with one key difference; a viper doesn’t smile before it strikes. Getting people to do her bidding isn’t a challenge — her powers of persuasion making it easy for people to listen; never realizing they’re being played. She’s said to not have a gentle bone in her body, but it’s an unspoken rule to never mess with her pups.

Appearance: Lucinda stands at 6’2”, having a lean physique that belies the strength her lupine form possesses. Dark brown hair, that has soft curls strewn throughout, falls to her shoulder blades, always elegantly styled and maintained. Her golden-olive toned complexion brings out the sapphire blue of her gaze, filled with a cunning intelligence.

Deimos Wilde — Father

Personality: Emotionally unavailable (read: awkward) is one way to put him. He doesn’t truly know how to convey the thoughts within his head into words, which is why they typically translate into actions; even said action is only a pat on the shoulder. Extremely loyal, willing to lay down his life for the pack, he’s tough and won’t ever back down from a fight.

Appearance: Deimos stands at around 6’0”, with an athletic physique. Golden brown skin — marked with a few tattoos — brings out the sharp black of his gaze, the left one being a stony gray — a scar running through the brow to the top of his cheek — after a fight gone wrong. Ebony black hair is cropped short; another scar running from the base of his skull, a little behind his right ear, to the top of his shoulder. He takes great pride in the scars dotted across his body as they showcase his willingness to sacrifice for his pack.

Lyraea Noire — Mother

Personality: One never truly know what’s going on within her mind; a master at carefully choosing her words to never fully commit, or implicate, herself, but still offering some substance to keep someone interested. Flirtatious and seductive, common qualities among succubi and incubi, Lyraea seems to exemplify it — a goddess among them… One that many have tried, and failed, to tie down. Her only true commitment being to that of being a mother.

Appearance: With an hourglass figure, Lyraea complements her stature with the heels that typically adorn her feet; bringing her height of 5’11” to upwards of 6’3”. Shimmering purple eyes, that are reminiscent of an amethyst, bring out the gold within her silvery-blonde hair, allowing for her golden tanned complexion to stand out even more; her skin marked by three tattoos.

Nathaniel Presley — Father — ⟡

Personality: An inquisitive nature is the first thing anyone would take note when it comes to Nathaniel Presley — an undeniable thirst to learn more, to find out the hidden wonders of the world — it’s that exact that he’s passed off to his child. He adores the world and all the wonders it brings — from a mighty waterfall, to a delicate butterfly, and a rolling storm — with an almost childlike sense of awe.

Appearance: Not standing much taller than his wife at about 5’5”. Light brown hair typically falls haphazardly across his forehead, as he typically forgets to style it, which complements the tanned complexion of his skin. Gentle hazel eyes taking in the world from behind thin-rimmed glasses. He has a slender physique.

Althea Presley — Mother

Personality: Home cooked meals and big family gatherings are the crux of who Althea is; extremely family oriented, she’d break her back if it meant getting everything prepared for everyone to enjoy. With a gentle, yet firm, touch, she doesn’t play around when it comes to academics and hobbies, but she’d always support her children in their endeavors — no matter what.

Appearance: Having a stature of only 5’0”, Althea truly brings life to the phrase “tiny but mighty”. Golden brown hair falls to just over shoulders, bringing out the golden undertone to her beige complexion, and complementing the underlying gray within her cobalt blue gaze. She has a petite physique.

Important Note: Caden has been excluded as they don’t have any (living) parents — and referencing their family in general is spoilers. Blake’s other parent is a mystery in general and Sloane’s family is complicated in general (the only one I can truly reference being their father).

The fear of seeing each other again after what happened to their respective families was hopefully less powerful than the joy of seeing each other, safe and sound, despite it all. Too much blood was spilled to remain angry. Too much death to tear them apart now.

Nathaniel always looked after Fergus' little sister, considering Alyssa as his. And she always aspired to become as strong as them both.

In game, I free him and let him choose to become a Grey Warden of his own will, Alyssa would never force that fate unto anyone, especially people she cares about. But she respect his decision and understand why he's doing it.
