Oddities in the Naruto Soundtrack

welcome to another post of me yapping about naruto, i have been listening to the nart soundtrack ever since my teenage years and i stumbled upon some things that i found funny, many people have probably noticed this but in case you haven't, enjoy my yapping.

So the first thing I noticed was regarding Itachi's theme. I have more of these so lmk if you would be interested in hearing them.

When I played Senya on my e-piano it reminded me of the Pain theme (Girei). Why, you may ask? Well, it was something in the leitmotif.

So we all know what Itachi's leitmotif sounds like. I recreated it in my composing program(TM) for this post:

In contrast, here is the leitmotif in Pain's theme:

And this is what it sounds like when you layer them on top of each other:

Why would you willingly put yourself through watching the entirety of the Naruto anime, like ever. Just skip to the well-animated fight scenes and the filler episodes that are actually fun, and read the manga like the rest of us.

just wanted to talk abt the fact that honeyworks made an ending for naruto shippuden <3 the version used for the show was sung by the utaite sana but there was also a vocaloid version sung by gumi. i was just getting into vocaloid around that time so it took me a while to find out that this song i loved for an anime i loved had another version with one of those singing robots i loved. it's a song about childhood friendship and bonds so it's really fitting for naruto, though if you didnt know better you'd think that honeyworks' cute sound wouldnt work with it. but it does work. it fucking works
