Sasuke Uchiha

You'd been together for about a year at this point. In the beginning, you'd agreed to keep it hush-hush until you'd figured things out.

Before you knew it, it'd been more than six months since your first date, and it was still secret. You enjoyed the privacy of it, but didn't enjoy hiding things from your friends.

So you decided to stop actively keeping it a secret and instead allow things to come out naturally.

But that was six months ago and still no one knew.

Sasuke hated PDA and no one had asked either of you about relationship stuff, so it was still quiet.

That is until today.

You two were victims of Narutos' lack of boundaries and awareness.

It was late at night, about 11pm, you were in Sasuke's apartment.

He was drilling into you, his hands holding down your legs and mouth connected to your neck.

You were too busy enjoying the all encompassing feeling of him fucking you, and he was too busy ravaging you to hear Naruto enter the front door.

Suddenly, the bedroom door swings open. Narutos face very quickly goes from his usual happy-go-lucky to a horrified, dramatic look.

Sasuke is quick to cover you with the sheets before he yells at Naruto to get the Hell out.

Shikamaru Nara

You two lay around together most days. A while back, you shared a kiss, and it very VERY slowly escalated from there.

It was almost six months before you actually had sex.

Mostly because he'd somehow rationalized kissing was "just something you guys did" and didn't require any extra thought.

The sex was amazing. Slow and passionate, just like you'd expect from the lazy Nara.

And so things continued on like that. A relationship had formed, but it was never something either of you talked about.

You liked his parents and they liked you. You'd help his mom with dinner some nights and played Shogi with Shikaku. They didn't question your relationship either.

Things stayed on the down low for almost eighteen months before someone finally brought up something regarding his romantic life.

"So, Shikamaru, who was your first kiss?" Choji asked one night in the bath house.

The question caught him off guard since he wasn't usually included in these types of conversations. (They mostly assumed he wasn't interested in women, or something like that.)

"Hm? Oh, Y/N."

Cue the silence. Then total chaos.

"What?? When was this?" Kiba asked.

"I don't know... sometime around the solstice last year."

That sparked a lot of questions from his friends, only some of which he'd answered.

The guys relayed all the information to the girls the next day, where they then went and hounded you for answers.

Despite all of your friends knowing about your relationship, nothing changed between you and Shikamaru.

You just stayed... whatever it is you were.

Kakashi Hatake

Gai, Kurenai, and Iruka all had their suspicions about you two but had nothing to back it up. It's been years at this point, yet they still come up empty-handed.

That is, until Kakashi’s students decided they were interested in his love life, and began to poke around.

It's after the war; Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke are fully grown adults, but something is just so tempting about reverting to their youthful days of trying to spy on their sensei.

Kakashi is all for it, partially because he's glad his students are getting along again, and partially because he's grown tired of keeping secrets.

This is something he discusses with you, and as he predicted, you're completely on board.

You gradually make yourself seen with Kakashi over the next week- leaving the Hokage tower with him, getting dinner with him, and even allowing him to walk you to his apartment.

The kids watch all of this happen, but there's no evidence that actually proves anything, just like Gai sensei had told them in the beginning.

So they continue to stalk you two around the village. They're better at it than when they were little, but it's still pretty easy to spot them.

At the end of the week, when you're sure all three of them are watching, Kakashi kisses you in front of your front door.

You watch as they all zip away, surely off to meet up or possibly report back to your friends.

You and Kakashi can only laugh.

Keeping close to the long haired raveonette as his arms encircled your body, trapping you comfortable against his. The low hum vibrating through his chest as your head leaned against it. It was a rare thing, seeing the head of the Uchiha Company being so soft and sweet with someone.

The smell of his cologne overtaking your sense of smell entirely. For once all the bodyguards he had assigned to you were nowhere around, even the normally bustle and hustle of the city seemed to be quieter tonight. It's odd to think about, all you did was take up a singular job from Madara and now here you were, 4 years later.

4 long years of cat and mouse between you two. Your work and his colliding more often than not as he would either have someone call you or call you himself, that was your favorite. It was always unsuspecting too. Either you would hear the raspiness of Itachi on the other line, or the ever-energetic Obito with his partner, Tobi. Madara's voice was always like sickly sweet honey when you heard him.

His deep bass voice on the other line as he explains why he needs you present, though it was hard to tell every time whether it was actually a job or whether he was making an excuse to have you come in. Sometimes it was a job, other times it was just him having a gift that would complement you and him in some subtle way.

It may not be outwardly said by anyone that works under him, or him himself yet, you were his. The times he's made this clear are uncountable. From gifts, outings, and hand placements, he makes sure everyone that sees or meets you can tell at point blank you belong to someone.

It's even more prominent when you suddenly have a matching ring with him. When did that get there? You didn't even notice when he had slipped it onto your hand, oh well. It's at first taken as just a simple and sweet gesture when you bring it up with him.

Laughing sweetly as he told you that it was a proposal gesture, not taking in his words carefully enough to actually catch the change in his tone. Even if you may not be aware of it just yet, that ring is basically his silent proposal to you. He's yours that's easy to see too, but you are his just as much and he isn't afraid of getting his hands personally dirty to show for it.

[This is loosely based on, in my opinion, two of the gayest songs in Naruto ost history: 'By my side' and 'Broken youth'. ]

Also, I feel like in the history of anime, Sasuke and Naruto were the couple with most wasted potential and most love for each other. It's literally in everything canon, every episode and chapter is filled with so much love it's sometimes hard to tell this is shounen, rather than shounen ai. And that make me sad because in my head, they're both just holding up these facades in order to keep up appearances but all they want to do is cuddle and tell the world that they're in love. C'mon they both borderline, if not outright, neglect their families but never, ever each other.

Naruto and Sasuke hid behind subtle touches and declarations of brotherly love. They expertly hid their feelings behind a mask of friendship, declaring their bond to the world as nothing more than camaraderie, the connection formed from years of shared struggles.

So, why? Why did they feel the inexplicable urge to run into each other's arms when the weight of the world was simply too much to bear? Why did they still secretly hold each other's pinkies when they walked together? Why did their eyes still meet at random times? Why did they still look at each other with so many pent up emotions?

Sasuke had always wondered why? What was the reason for that inexplicable pull he felt towards the blonde?

That was Sakura's place, he married her, he formed a family with her.

Even so, he longed for Naruto's clumsy touch, and his nervous laughter, afraid of his reaction. He missed the way they would secretly cuddle when out on missions, away from the village's judgmental eye and their teammates curious gazes. Even when his mind was clouded with hatred and revenge, and the only thoughts that ran through his head were of rightful vengeance, his heart still ached at the distance he willingly put between them, and he would weep at night, yearning for his beat friend to hold him and console his anguished soul.

The Uchiha cursed himself for the steps he didn't take, for the steps he couldn't take. He cursed himself for not building up the courage to say the words, to make the move, to finally let his caged feelings free. She was safe, she was what everyone expected, she was the last resort, but at night, he couldn't look at her, because the guilt consumed him, because even after decades of pining and running after him, he still couldn't give her what she wanted, he still couldn't be the man she dreamed about. He slept beside her but his thoughts remained elsewhere. He accidentally forced Sakura into the eternal cycle of running after him, while he ran after another, but still looked back to make sure she was there.

But Naruto was Naruto, when even Sakura gave up on him, it was Naruto who ran into the darkness searching for him, he fought everyone tooth and nails just to bring him back into the village, to clean his name, to pull him back into the light. No matter how hard he tried to convince himself that this was only friendship, brotherhood, he couldn't. He knew what friendship was, this was much deeper than camaraderie, no matter how much they changed, or the years changed, their love stayed the same.

'I know your heart, and you, mine.'

Sasuke declared long ago, when his mind was clouded with hate and revenge, even in those moments his thoughts, and heart, always wandered to his blonde teammate. The man whom he loved.

Their connection remained innocent, childish; holding their pinkies, brushing their lips against each other's so lightly that it felt like a soft wind gracing their flesh, never more, never anything more. But he wanted more, he wanted to tell the world 'this is the person I love, not as a brother, not as a teammate, I love him.'

Blue eyes took in Sasuke's features, dazzled by how the moonlight made him look ethereal. His pale skin glimmered under the soft glow of the moon, and his hair, swept by the wind, looked softer than cotton, perfectly framing his sharp features. Subconsciously, his hand reached out, aiming to bury his fingers in his best friend's dark locks, but halted as a dark eye turned to him. Sasuke's frown relaxed into a soft smile as he saw Naruto's face contort into a mixture of surprise and embarrassment, so he pushed his head into the blond's outstretched hand, nuzzling into the warm flesh.

Neither spoke, surprised by their own actions and slightly scared of the other's reaction. They stared at each other for a few seconds, before Naruto's hand left Sasuke's hair, and he pushed himself off the railing to peck his friend's pale lips. He pulled away as quickly as their lips connected, both sporting wide eyes and completely red faces.

"Sasuke, I-I'm sorry... that was-"

"Idiot..."

Using his only arm, he grabbed the blonde's shirt and pulled him closer, crashing his lips into his own, they molded together and fell into an awkwardly passionate rhythm. The Uchiha's arm let go of the shirt and snaked around his neck to bury his calloused hand into his blonde tresses. Naruto, grabbed onto his hips, pulling him closer. The kiss was filled with years of unspoken feelings and hidden emotions, all let out in one singular gesture. Neither wanted to let go, finally having what they had been wanting for year, like finally reaching the promised land of their dreams. Panting, they pulled away only a few millimeter, connected by thin strip of saliva and the sentiments they held for each other.

"I need you here right by my side."

Sasuke smirked at the blonde's cheesy declaration, preparing to tease the boy, not being able to hold himself back.

"I love you, Teme."

"Took you long enough, dobe."

"What?" Naruto screeched, jumping away from the man and pointing at him, his usual hot-headed nature jumping out even in moments of romance. "You didn't say anything either!"

"Shut up and please kiss me, all night."

Their lips connected in yet another heated expression of their love, uncaring of anyone's prying eyes or who saw them. This was more important, this was the only thing in their minds at the moment, nothing else.

What an absolute nightmare.

Once you heard the front door shut, Sasuke basically collapsed on top of you.

He groaned. His night had been ruined, and on top of it, Naruto was sure to cause drama for the coming days.

"It's okay, Sasuke. They were sure to find out anyway."

"Our relationship going public and Naruto catching us having sex are two very different issues, and it's a bit concerning that you think I'm worried about the latter."

You kick him off of you with a laugh and suggest a shower. There was no way your escapades could continue on after all the fuss.

The next morning, you basically had to drag Sasuke out of the house.

He'd been moaning and groaning and grumbling since last night, so much so that he started to sound like Shikamaru.

Who knew Sasuke could complain so much.

Once you were out the door and the second your friend's eyes caught you, they pounced.

All at once, they hounded you about what Naruto may or may not have seen (Naruto has a habit of being a bad storyteller, so who knows what actually went down)

Sasuke refused to answer any questions until the chaos had settled down. They did eventually, albeit reluctantly.

That just sent them all reeling again, begging for details.

You two already discussed what you'd keep secret and what you'd share, so the meeting went pretty smoothly once everyone agreed to keep their composure.

After news got out, Ino decided it was her place to convince Shikamaru to, in her words, "be a man and ask her out already!"

He let out a sigh of relief, glad to have fallen into such a situation with someone who understands him so well.

"Not too long, though. It's been almost two years, Shika."

On second thought, this was a total drag.

The next morning, you two made sure to bump into his students.

They seemed rather pleased with themselves, that they had been the ones to finally catch Kakashi lacking.

It only took a single look for Sasuke to realize it was all fake. They'd been bested by their sensei once again.

That quick glance he got from Kakashi told him not to say anything to the others, which he hadn't planned on anyway.

He set a hand on Sakuras head and ruffled her hair.

Enter Gai, who happened to hear.

"You didn't tell us either, Kakashi."

He just shrugged, sending Gai into a fit.

Could I request a fic, or head cannons if you would rather, of Naruto and Rock lee failing to get along because they like the same darling?

Of course! 

Oh lord would they turn it into a competition, as you know Lee has always put in 200% effort when doing a task and he sees his failures as a motivation to try harder. Naruto would fall into at first, at first he tries and if it doesn’t go well he’d fall into a small depression and then get back on his feet and try again so they’re both similar in that aspect. They’re the best of friends and they strive to help each other and others, but that all falls apart when they meet you. They both have a crush on you but don’t know how to approach so they turn to each other for help. This sets them off.

“Hey Naruto, I have a question.”

“Sure, Lee. What is it?”

“How do you tell someone you love them?” 

It’s just a question, so when Naruto tries to give dating advice and Sakura scolds him because Lee shouldn’t be asking someone with zero bitches for advice, it’s harmless. Well, it isn’t until Sakura and TenTen ask, who is the lucky person and your name falls from his lips. That’s when Sakura goes silent, she knows that the person Naruto likes. Well. that’s awkward. I see Naruto as trying to congratulate him while also going, “[Reader] doesn’t like bushy brows yeah. . .sorry Lee but they’d never want you.” It takes Sakura reassuring Lee and scolding Naruto, they should win your affections the correct way! Lee starts to pick up that Naruto likes you as well, so they start to show off and doing small tasks. Naruto offers to walk you home, Lee offers to carry your groceries, etc. When you leave your house ready for a walk, they’re both there asking you if you want to accompany them while giving each other the stink eye. I don’t think either of them would hate the other? I think that’s what I’m trying to say, like don’t expect either to kill the other. While they compete they’re willing to team up to protect you and make sure you’re safe. I honestly think they’d be willing to share you with each other. 

It would take a while and some convincing from the other, Lee would probably be the first to bring it up. “We both like them, no matter what we do they don’t seem to pick you or me. I propose, we work together to get them to like us!” Naruto has some trouble picking that up, but it’s like sharing a t-shirt, you can wear it just be sure to give it back. Sure, you can love [Reader] and spend time with them, just be sure to give them to me when it’s my turn!

"I'm not missing anything, am I?" Scrambling with the paper bags, Shisui struggles to move. Feeling rather sorry for him, you offer to hold one of the bags. "No, you imbecile! You're NOT supposed to help him after the EMBARRASSMENT he put us through back there!" Obito smacks your hand away, glaring at you with his heterochromia eyes. "I'm afraid I have to agree with Obingo on this." Madara chimes in, nodding quite knowledgeably. "For the last time, it's OBITO!"

"Guys, where is Sasuke?" Itachi's head moves back and forth, while everyone lazily glances around, not paying much attention. "He was with y/n last time I could see." Shisui rolls his eyes and pouts. Sure the incident was bad, but holding these bags are TORTURE.

"Poor boy probably ran off because y/n does not know how to dance!" Madara flicks his hair, exemplifying his point while you watch in an impartial T-pose. "That's because YOU'RE shit at teaching!" Obito claps back, clenching his fist as the Madara war flashbacks hit him hard (probably).

Rustle, rustle, bang!

"What the FUCK, Shisu—" As Obito looks back he gasps: Shisui is nowhere to be seen, leaving the poor bags sprawled on the ground in a sporadic manner.

"My word, he is GONE!" Melodramatically, Madara holds his hand to his forehead, looking more at the clothes and other items than wondering where Shisui went. "Everyone stay close!" All four of you listen to Itachi's command, back facing one another. Silence falls as a chilly breeze flows by, ruffling your hair.

"...Oreo darling," Madara slashes open the silence with his fraudulent flattery, "hand me one of the bags. Might as well steal what he bought while he isn't here."

No answer.

"...Oreo?" Glancing back, Madara realizes his hand is poking the air.

"Obito!" Itachi exclaims as only three of you remain, "L-Let's hold hands! We can't let whatever this is get us too!"

Preparing himself to sprint with you two, Itachi is yanked back by Madara pathetically scampering to get his hands on some of the goods they bought.

"LEAVE THE BAGS, MADARA!" Itachi drags Madara as he growls and hisses. "NOOOO! The Gucci slides!" He cries in shear terror, "My beautiful, immaculate babies!!"

Desperately clawing the ground to grab a hold of the bags, Madara yells out in anguish—however, the anguish soon turns into a spark of hope as you help him try to get his precious Gucci slides.

"Y/n, STOP encouraging him! And come, let's go!" Grabbing the two of you, Itachi rushes into a nearby pharmacy. "Maybe we'll be safe in here." He remarks, wiping the sweat off of his brow.

While Itachi leans on the white, yellow-stained walls, Madara searches around the shop. "Oh god, this place is so BORING! They don't even have CONDOMS here! Seriously, look at this y/n! What kind of pharmacy doesn't have a condom?"

Itachi's eyes widen instantaneously.

"The answer is: NONE! You two, LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!"

Like a hurricane, you three rush out of the glass doors, making your way onto the roofs of the buildings above. Conveniently, since you are all holding hands, movement is reduced by tenfold—balancing on flimsy shingles isn't a very easy job.

Once Itachi catches his breath, he activates his Sharingan as to perhaps get some clarity on this bizarre situation. "My Uchihae senses are not tingling, whatever is this?!"

"Well, whatever it is, I hope it puts up a fight! Come on y/n! It's been a while since I've seen you dance!" Madara holds his guitar-fan which manifested out of thin air, as he waits for your cue.

"Oh no... I suppose I have angered y/n earlier... Maybe?" Pondering, for once in his life, Madara decides to say something good.

"Hey, I was joking earlier, you can dance, really."

Silence...

"...Y/n?" He looks back at Itachi who lifts up his empty left hand.

"Y/N!!" They both shout in sorrow.

"MADARA! WE HAVE TO HUG EACH OTHER TO PREVENT ANOTHER CASUALTY!" Itachi cries out.

"ALRIGHT! UCHIHUG FORMATION!"

A flurry of green along with an overpowering smell of air freshener assaults your senses: it would be a few minutes till you could fully open your eyes. As you lifted yourself up, you found out you somehow ended up in a hedge maze. Could the rest of the disappearing Uchiha (Uchihas? Uchihies? Uchihae?) be here too?

Having nothing to lose, you trudge to the supposed entrance of the maze. Glancing up, you've noticed the sky has switched from it's usual periwinkle color around this time, to a harsh maroon—unfortunately that's not all. Floating in the maroon sea like a freakish swan is a moon with a face—an angry and rather familiar one. Ignoring the bells ringing in the distance, you wander onward into the linear path of the maze until a fork stops you in your tracks.

Left or right?

Since you disappeared holding Itachi's left hand, you suppose going right would be choosing the right way.

Right?

Steadily strolling ahead, you hear a faint screeching noise gradually getting louder—even going ahead to drown out your own pattering footsteps on the damp grass. Who could be behind you? Rather, what could be behind you? Conversely, what could be around you?

Petrified, you force yourself to look back—better sorry than not safe.

"Hey, y/n." Obito smiles.

You jump, but compose yourself once you register that it's only Obito.

"Actually, I have a perfect explanation for all th—" He sneezes and you find yourself in a carnival, then back at the maze.

"Sorry about that..." Looking quite embarrassed, he fiddles with his sleeve, "You see... Whenever I sneeze, well..." Obito sways about, fidgeting his two fingers together.

You watch as Obito wriggles around like a shy anime worm, waiting for him to eventually continue his story.

"I guess my space-time travel kinda messes up and..." As he rubs his neck, he suddenly screams when his mouth is covered by a hand.

Assuming a defensive yet offensive stance, you ready your jutsu to aim at the perpetrator when he interrupts you. "Y/n, it's me." Sasuke tells you from behind Obito, "I have to cover this loser's mouth to prevent any further danger to us."

"SASUKE, WAIT NO!" A desperate Shisui shouts from the distance, but it's too late: the four of you are transported to a graveyard.

"Huh?! But he didn't sneeze!" Sasuke gasps, as he lets go of his hold on the exasperated Obito, swiftly drawing his sword as some colossal centipedes close in on you four.

"I guess I left out one detail..." Obito murmurs, averting his gaze downward.

"Obito has diarrhea." Shisui deadpans.

"And what does THAT have to do with anything?" Slashing a centipede in half, Sasuke raises a brow.

(This music starts playing 🤣)

"It's simple actually. If you think about it, when I disappeared, Obito didn't sneeze then. There seems to be two triggers for his space-time fuck up: sneezes and well... little toots."

"STOP! HEY!!" Obito covers his ears and interrupts Shisui, "WHAT'S YOUR DEAL WITH EMBARRASSING PEOPLE?!"

"Y/n, constrain him while I handle these centipedes and while Shisui explains, since he can't move when pulling up flashbacks and diagrams out of thin air." Sasuke blatantly states.

Going next to Obito and covering his ears, you listen to the knowledgeable Shisui.

"A sneeze is loud, while Obito passing gas happens not to be, which is why he could slip under the radar unintentionally. You see. Since his body is all clogged, from his sinuses to his intestines, naturally his chakra flow is also suffering from blockage. Think of it like a traffic jam: you have cars blocking the road which keep building up and moving at a staggering pace, and the inevitable accident once the traffic somewhat flows again. That's sort of whats happening to Obito over there. His chakra is coming out in spurts once the clog is expelled but for a moment. When he sneezes, his whole ENT system opens up for a second, sending out a spurt of chakra in the form of an undesirable space-time travel: an accident. Similarly, when he passes gas, his rectum expands—burst of chakra again. Conversely, there might even be a third trigger that we don't know about yet. Our best bet to remedying this is to buy the poor guy some medicine. Maybe ibuprofen, paracetamol or laxatives. All three even."

By the time Shisui is done explaining, Sasuke has killed all the centipedes, Obito is rolled into a ball and you're clapping at the speech in appreciation or to give the illusion that you didn't space out—you tell me.

"Alright then. Fart, Obito. I'm sick of these centipedes now." Sasuke glares at the "Ballbito", even going as far to point his threatening sword at him.

"Now, now, Sasuke. You should refer to it as 'passing gas'. Don't aggravate the poor thing. He is agitated quite easily."

"ARGH! Shut up you two! I'm NOT gonna do what a child like Sasuke tells me to do, and Shisui, I'm NOT an animal at the fucking zoo!" Dusting himself as he gets up, a singular sparkly tear falls from his eye, and before you all know it, you're in a dim, gooey red room.

After a brief moment of shock mixed with disgust at the liquid dripping from the roof of the seemingly endless room, you hear a voice.

"Uchiha (Uchihas? Uchihies? Uchihae?), and y/n!" Itachi yells as he approaches you four.

"Itachi! Buddy, it's great to see you." Shisui smiles.

"We are inside of Madara." Interrupting Shisui, Obito states.

"How do you know that, you car?" Sasuke curls his lip.

"Because Madara wanted to see if he had Big the Cat living inside him after playing Sonic Dreams Collection. I got paid for it, so it was worth it."

There's a deafening silence.

"I'm sorry, Obito." Itachi smacks Obito unconscious, returning the five of you back to the street outside the mall.

"Dear me, I feel so empty now. Just a second ago I felt butterflies in my belly. I think I've fallen for that tree over there... DAMN YOU, HASHIRAMAAAA!" Madara has another outburst, practically ignoring the rest of you covered in his acid.

"How'd you figure that out, Itachi?" Sasuke asks in wonder, "Wouldn't taking him out leave us in Madara's body?"

"I took a chance." Itachi lets out the breath he had been holding and the five of you take Obito to a hospital.
