god now i cant stop thinking about sasuke watching the nh wedding, heartbroken, and leaving the same night without telling anyone a word. and naruto feeling equally heartbroken and not knowing why when its supposed to be the happiest day of his life. and in the weeks after he just struggles harder and harder to keep the facade up and no one fucking understands him since they pushed him into this marriage and months go by and then sasuke visits because he cant help himself and they meet and sasuke becomes a homewrecker and naruto leaves his pregnant wife behind and disappears with sasuke never to return and sobvosbvoisbiosbio you know?

I deleted the reblog but the casual transphobia of the Hinata fandom when speaking about Sakura's body baffles me, are you seriously willing to go to such lengths in order to defend a 2D character whose entire relevance rests upon being the stalker of the main character?

You can't call yourself feminists nor expect a feminist critique of your favorite character if you're not willing to conduct yourselves with the same levels of respect, you buffoons!

Body-shaming is never okay but, in this specific case, I don't think this is comparative to the simple idea of "body-shaming" because the comparison is not only about Sakura and/or Sarada's "masculinized" body but also to the use of the term "trans prostitute" in a pejorative manner and as a way of categorizing trans identity in conjunction with sexually exploitative work.

This is done in order to diminish the relevance of trans identities by linking them to the idea of "boys" and "masculinized body types" as opposed to the notion of "feminized body types" (as if women are standardized individuals and anything outside of that curvy body type you lot love to associate Hinata with, is somehow masculine), while at the same time tying them to sex-work, which is an archetype and a job that the trans community has not only been pushed into but also attempts to disassociate itself from.

Tenten was quickly entranced with the chubby-cheeked fuzz head. Neji felt his eyes soften looking at her interacting with Boruto, making ridiculous faces and cooing softly at him. She held his tiny hands and tickled him until he was giggling.

Neji almost missed how her hand cradled her flat stomach for a moment before dropping to her side. Their eyes met for a moment, full of shared pain.

There are few things as selfish as killing yourself (by suicide or whatever nonsense stunts Hinata and Sakura were trying to pull) in front of someone you’re “in love” with, in the desperate hope that this person this way would never forget you/finally pay attention to you/be filled with enormous guilt or regret for the rest of their lives about the fact that you died. Hinata’s actions throughout the show well established her as both selfish and pathologically obsessed with Naruto. There was nothing romantic about her behavior. Sakura (even according to Kishimoto) was literally addicted with Sasuke, with no real interest in who he really was or how he actually felt. Her “addiction” was also completely selfish. 

Naruto and Sasuke, on the other hand, developed in perfect parallel unison, perfect opposites, like nodes on a battery. When Kishimoto presented us with Naruto calmly telling Sasuke that he’d carry the burden of his hatred and die with him, it was like a crescendo of a confession that had always been on the verge of being spoken, but always seemed too fragile to be revealed. It was a flawless way of showing what selfless love looks like. To be understood like that is the most intimate thing a person can experience. No wonder Sasuke looked gobsmacked. 

I honestly think Kishimoto views the ultimate expression of love as dying with the one you love, because he did so much showing how naruto would rather die with sasuke than live without him, just like minato did when he chose to die alongside kushina rather than live without her, Kishimoto showed Hinata selfishly getting in front of Pein knowing that she would die (not together), Sakura was also willing to kill Sasuke (not together), etc.

Hey heyy!! I really love your stories! They’re such a delight to read! My favourite one is actually Nightdreams haha. I was actually wondering if you could help me with finding a NaruHina fanfic I read years ago. It was about Hinata being pregnant and in the middle of the night she started having contractions/ bleeding. Naruto woke up, started fussing about her. Hinata’s bleeding got really bad though by the time Tsunade arrived and she almost died. More worried / dark thoughts from Naruto. But eventually Boruto was born and it had a happy ending. I distinctly remember Naruto telling Hinata “we (him and Boruto) need you.” while holding little Bolt. Thank you in advance! (Any similar fics are welcome too!)
