Undying Loyalty
Napoleon & junot
I finally finished this piece it took me a while but I'm proud I might have rushed a few parts but in my opinion, it's good now I've hidden some things in my drawing so I'll explain it down here:
(Read till the end for some end notes)
First up we have Napoleon with his uninterested face to kind of symbolize him distancing himself from Junot and their friendship
Then we have the windflower also known as the anemone flower I chose this specific flower for its meaning which is: death or forsaken love (it's technically the red one that symbolizes that but I found out a bit late) I just thought this flower fitted Junot a lot with his future death and his forsaken love for Napoleon
I drew blood on napoleons hands and Junot's hair and clothes to kind of refer to that one time Napoleon pulled too hard on Junot's hair as a joke but it apparently reopened his head wound he had so I thought that also should be clarified
As Last I will mention the sort of angelic glow that Is coming behind Napoleon I did this to mention how Junot saw Napoleon in a kind of way he was very devoted to him in a lot of ways
End notes:
So I hope this kind of explains it if you want you can also try to interpret this drawing with your own opinion and meanings or talk about the relationship that they both had also I apologize if theirs any spelling mistakes or if my explanations are kind of ass 😞

Napoleon Junot gets in trouble at the theatre
From the Journal de Paris, 1833
Suddenly, in one box, a rather animated private conversation disturbs the gathering of the regulars of the place. The cries: "silence!" "to the door!" explode on all sides against the indiscreets who allow themselves to speak loudly in the presence of His Majesty the King of Assyria. The tenants of the box held firm, and if we are to believe some witnesses, they allowed themselves to make rather cavalier remarks against the stalls, threw away their gloves like valiant paladins, which no one picked up, and even distributed a few strokes of the cane which more than one spectator pocketed, the sergeant of the city arrived with a reinforcement of the municipal guard, the two perterbators were seized and taken before the police commissioner on duty at the theatre: they were M. Napoléon Junot d'Abrantes, son of the marshal of that name, now a soldier in the 1st regiment of the Chasseurs d'Afrique, on leave in Paris, and M. Guignan, his friend.
It appears from the report of the Commissioner of Police that these two gentlemen would have acted fairly testily with him and would have shown very little respect for his character and functions. The director of the theatre himself intervened, demanded rather earnestly these gentlemen, whom he said were his friends, and threatened the commissary of police to have him removed from the supervision of the theatre. This official began by having Messrs. d'Abrantes and Guignan taken to the next post, and had the director temporarily detained in his office: but scarcely had the young men left, when the latter expressed regret at having behaved as he had done, and excused himself on the ground that these two gentlemen, if he had appeared to take sides against them, could, by means of a good cabal, have forced him to serve, never to return [...].
As for Messrs. Guignan and d'Abrantes, they were summoned today before the correctional police, 6th chamber, as accused of insulting a public official in the exercise of his duties. Only the first one showed up. As for M. d'Abrantes, although he is detained in a place of security, he did not appear, and caused it to be said that he was ill. The two defendants were each fined 50 francs.
