How do you capture historical figures’s features? Im still struggling with it and wanted to ask you!
Okay this is something I’m still struggling with too
But something I always keep in mind is that most of these guys weren’t attractive and I think it’s always more important to make them recognizable than handsome
My style allows me to exaggerate certain features that can set them apart (for example Marmont”s unibrow )
So if your goal isn’t to illustrate them in a realistic style but rather to somewhat stylize them when drawing then I’d suggest you do the same

These are the features I pay attention to when studying their faces (+ overall face shape and wrinkles)
Ive never really thought about this question so idk how helpful this short explanation was lol
