Honey Kisaragi's design for Cutie Honey Nova has been revealed.

This upcoming project describes Honey Kisaragi as a blonde hair, green eyed girl who has the power to change into different forms with the Atmospheric Element Condenser. Cutie Honey is described as possessing physical abilities that surpass the average human.

Beginning in March, a Cutie Honey Nova manga by Naoto Tsushima will be printed in Girls Plamo Style magazine.

Ayato Satoshi (unknown lifespan)

A Multilingual short story writer whose works explore found family, psychology and the true self. Satoshi's works are extremely hard to translate because of his tendency to switch languages mid sentence. One of his lesser known books 'Myosotis Meadows' is about how a person with Alzheimer's who somehow finds and befriends the same people again and again, no mater how often they forget.

He likes the smell of lavenders, though isn't fond of their raw taste

As an informent, they often use notes to exchange information

He is very passionate about chemistry, somehow creating strange concoctions

He often wears a Periwinkle cloth over his eyes

His back is very sensitive as he has a painful butterfly shaped scar on his shoulder blades and back

His original reason for starting the war is because it reminds him of a faint memory

Fyodor Sougen is his 'true self', in this mind state his is the most natural and prefers his natural hair

He has no idea why Yozo Tsushima hates him so much, but it hurts to feel a Soul so similar to his own and yet much healthier. This fulls his resentment of the Tsushimas

He is scared of Gen'emon, because for some reason he can't sense him and yet he can Never forget him

He often gets Yozo's name wrong, half because of forgetfulness and half because it annoys Yozo

An 'Adrik' incarnation would take on the name Hane

He is the most expressive with his shoulders

He prefers to fight using two swords

It took him years (since junior high) and Naoto's help to recreate to chemical structure of Alicorn Crystal, he later uses this to create poisons and his final Swords

I know I'm late but the first chapter of Cutie Honey Nova was released on April 1st. While nothing about Nova appeals to me, I am legitimately excited for a new Cutie Honey manga! I'm not too familiar with Naoto Tsushima but I do like his art and I think that the new designs look much better in his style.

As for the first chapter...

Cutie Honey thwarts some Panther goons who were in the middle of some sort of arms dealing. The next morning Honey and her classmates are fawning over a new popular idol named "Jewel Smile." Cyber Scan meets up with Honey to discuss some suspicious internet messaging. As Honey goes to transform, Cyber Scan begins some maintenance work. A young man takes a photo of them and wonders if he has a scoop.

I can't believe this chapter is 16 pages because it feels much shorter. The whole thing felt extremely underwhelming. Like nothing really happened. Anyways, I wanted to point out a few things...

First off, Jewel is most likely a re-imagining of Sister Jill. Her name and cat-motifs make it obvious. The man at the end of the chapter is definitely Seiji Hayami, he just hasn't been named yet. Cyber Scan seems like Honey's sidekick and I'm not really on board with it.

I hope the next chapter will pack more of a punch.
