hibaryo in my mind rn
#certain duos stay in my mind when it comes to the guardians#yamamoto and gokudera since theyre a part of the namimori trio. for future arc tsuna goes poof so theres only them left#then lambo and ipin as the two kids. they both literally came out of nowhere but definitely contributed to the growth of vongole#and also family like always#mukuro and chrome got their own crisis going on#then hibari and ryohei. these two definitely got their own thing going#i cant remember well that whether ryohei also knew about tsuna's plan but iirc he just came back at one point in future arc#but theyre silly to me. one is extremely active and screams EXTREME at any interval and one would bite anyone's head off just because#the way both of them is destined to not get along but then to be in this family now#i do see ryohei getting along with kusakabe too so thats a nice thing#need to reread khr to scavenge for hibaryo crumbs

Haru follows next to him, making a mental map in her head to reference later when she has to do the task again. She had an excellent memory, so she only had to be shown the way once for her to easily remember her pathing.
“You think so? Haru thinks you three are an interesting trio. A guy who glares and snarls at everyone, a jock, and then you the quiet shy one.” Well, it was the impression she got of him, anyways.
“Haru thought that perhaps you have a secret life like you see in the manga, and they’re your comrades.” She chuckles a little bit at the silly idea.
What kind of trouble fighting did young teens need to do in peaceful Namimori, anyways? Mafia wasn’t anywhere near being on the list of possibilities.
Tsuna peered over to Haru, watching as she wiped off the whiteboard as he move the broom sweeping the floor.
He quickly turn back as Haru look his way. "Ah.. sure I can take you there." Tsuna place down the broom and dustpan taking out the trash so he could show Haru the location.
Tsuna's hand stopped when he heard Haru's question. "Gokudera-kun and Yamamoto? Both of them are my friend. We often hang out at the roof top during lunch."
"I don't think we seem that interesting after all." Tsuna rubbed the back of his head. He couldn't possibly tell Haru that Gokudera was from the Mafia.

WORD WITH YOUR TAGS BTW I’d take absolutely anything but if it was at all possible I’d love as many seiyuu’s recasted as possible. if they’ve retired or don’t want to them I’d (begrudgingly) accept new VA’s, of course!! but god I can only dream that we could get as many as possible back on board. I just know the one they could not replace (but wouldn’t have to) is Reborn. I’ve seen problems around Chrome’s VA; she was the VA of a Bandori character (Gacha rhythm game) and she had to step back from her role for health reasons (I don’t recall what they are but also she had to play an instrument at physical concerts so she was exerting a lot of energy for the role). I just wanna cling on to as many as possible for nostalgia reasons tbh skdnckcjdj. and you’re right ahhh Hayato’s voice is, I feel, a very core aspect of his character. so I’d hope if they had to replace him, they were super picky about who they choose to properly pull him off. tbh I think the voices of all the characters are very important to them!! ahh I’m rambling my bad but skndkcjc
i'm also hanging on for nostalgia reasons akjsakd i think we all are. i've watched the anime so many times i just can't imagine gokudera's "J U U D A I M E" sounding any different. his voice is so characteristic and recognizable, i link it so much to who gokudera is as a character that it pains me so much to know he most likely could get a new va in the reboot. i can't even imagine who they would cast (granted i'm not into newer anime so) but gokudera in the og anime had his silly moments, and his serious/angry moments, and his voice actor nailed those emotions in him and i just--love him a lot and i wish they can cast someone great for the role. like, if they have to recast the main namimori trio, i can only hope they do the kids right.
the only one that's non-negotiable for me is reborn. reborn and neeko in the role are like, the heart and soul of the khr anime. everyone else--yeah i would be upset but i could live with it.
ESPECIALLY BC most reborn characters have a catchphrase, a running gag, or something they are known for--like gokudera's 10th, yamamoto's laugh, squalo's V O I, lambo's gotta stay calm, mukuro's laugh, hibari's i'll bite you to death--it just goes on and on and on. i feel like any va they choose it's gotta be someone who holds a candle to the original anime. say whatever you want about og khr, but the one thing they got right was the voice acting imo
anygays i'm rambling too askdjal point is, if there is one, i want the khr reboot to be treated with love and attention.
#khr#for real tho#the va's?? i can live with it#but if they ruin amano's art i will throw hands#they can meet me behind the closest mcdonalds i will want to TALK#amano's art is just so stylish#the og anime never did it justice#anime does look better nowadays but#i mean#look at how the newer b/n/h/a seasons are animated and you just know not even high budgets will get the characters to look good so#i'm just delulu and holding on hope#thanks for the ask btw!

Hi may I ask if the bloody bakery fanfiction is a tsuna x reader fanfiction?
hi! you ask a very interesting question because bloody bakery was originally supposed to be a tsunaxreader fanfic and then - it just derailed from there.
in terms of anyone x reader, for now i’m kind of looking at it as a three way street for the namimori trio maybe?

Lwj, wwx, and yrz can be the big brother trio for hibari/main cast. Oooh Ipin! I don't think that Fon stayed in Namimori after he was introduced so the trio looks to be the best choice to look after her. Does yrz stay in hibari's home or rent/bought a place with lwj (wwx eventually moves in)?
lwj takes one look at ipin and goes ‘my girl now’. he and wwx bond over taking care of her (and also how hot yrz looks while taking care of her). yrz stays with hibari, unfortunately, because he’s at least pretending to ‘babysit’ hibari.
i think a crush on one of the elder bro trio is a right of passage lol.
yrz: ryohei, tsuna, muroko lol.
lwj: gokudera, lambo (puppy love for pretty gentle boy), takeshi.
wwx: ipin, hibari lol, chrome -- most of the girls actually. wwx is very safe to crush on, because he’ll flirt outrageously but he won’t act on anything.

Who is your favorite character? Why?
Oh boy here we go again -shakes-
I love Tsuna with all my heart! He’s baby, he’s sweet, he’s caring!! He loves and cherishes the people close to him, his family, his friends. Even though he doesn’t like fighting he’s willing to join if he needs to protect and attack if necessary. He’s just a kid with so much inner strength and a big heart! And this doesn’t stop him from A. Having the leader role B. Having one of the most powerful attacks in battle (Wish I could blow up my enemies with X-burner :/)
He’s not perfect since every character has it flaws, but it just gives more flavour to it and makes him more relatable I think. Plus it ‘s so fulfilling to see how much his character grows up through the story and see how far he’s come in th last chapters, like the big reunion one!! I felt so proud of him
So yeah! Tuna boy, he rocks! -holds him tight-
7. Who’s a character you think is underrated within fandom, regardless of how much attention they get in canon?
Ryohei! He’s really cool but I never see much about him from the fandom? :(
He deserves more attention and to be included in the rest of the family’s shenanigans because he’s a part of it too!! He has so much potential and has such brotherly love towards his sister and his friends! Imagine the possibilities of adding Ryohei to your story, it’ll make things so much more funny :)
Also Spanner? It’s always either Byakuran and Shoichi, which is great, I like their dynamic too!! But don’t forget my boy Spanner! ;w; I feel like Byakuran would become a bit too much to handle for Shoichi, and that’s when Spanner comes in. They can vibe together without having to talk or do anything else and still have a good time >w< plus just as with Ryohei, I think he’d also make things more fun, I mean, he literally changed sides because he just wanted to see how powerful Tsuna’s X-burner would be. He’s more chill but doesn’t mean he can’t take part in crazy shenanigans too :3c
8. Are there any ships you especially like?
I really love whatever’s going on with the millefiore trio. Gay people, the three of them, Byakuran and Spanner both love Shoichi and wow! what a lucky strike, Shoichi happens to have not one, but two hands!!! I mentioned this before while talking about Spanner, but I see a sort of balance between the 3 of them. Byakuran has Shoichi to talk about whatever’s going on inside his head (and eventually stop some of his ideas, saves the rest of the world from them), while he can make some of these ideas real with Spanner and have fun little experiments :3 similar stuff goes for Shoichi and Spanner but I don’t want to make this too long so I’m just gonna end it here and say: Gay people.
Other than that I really love 8059, 0027 and mm/chrome! (blames Cirrus and Ti for this)
12. If you could have a Flame, box animal, and weapon/fighting style, what would you want?
:thonk: I’d probably get storm, two wolves and a robin, knives/blades. I’d like to cover them in my flames and make them become one of those 1000 degree knifes and throw them at my enemies or just pass them near their face so they can feel the steam burn their eyes. Also I guess I could close wounds witht he heat too? That would hurt though :(
16. Are there any headcanons near and dear to your heart?
Yamamoto and his dad bringing Tsuna and Gokudera to their little trips!!! and the rest of my mutuals headcanons!! They’re very pog in my opinion!! especially trans ryohei and trans Chrome!! >w<
Also these are more on the fun side but I’m gonna share them anyway:
Hibari still using Namimori middle’s rooms event hough he doesn’t attend the school anymore, because of this he becomes some sort of urban legend at the school, something like “If you enter this room all alone at 5 PM the ghost of a man with a tonfa will come for you”
Each of them gets an animal plushie that resembles their animal boxes along with the animal rings! so they can guard their rooms. Gokudera leaves it on the entrance so he can pet Uri plushie everytime he comes back home. Lambo gets a giant one, like one of those big teddy bears but it’s Gyuudon, sometimes he falls asleep on it
21. If you could change anything in canon, what would it be?
-Takes Shamal, Iemitsu and that weird lady with the whip to stomp on them and throw them out of the window-

Lady Aurora - Kokuyo Gang Arc
@fantasyfandommaiden @copitix @royalchaoticfangirl @seraphichana
Beginning
The Arc begins with the Disciplinary Committee being attacked one at a time, following Futa’s ranking list
Marinette falls between Tetsuya Kusakabe and Ryohei Sasagawa on that list, to her own surprise and everyone else’s
Not long after Ryohei was attacked, Chikusa went after Mari
She was able to hold him off with her own yo-yos and make an quick escape
Later on, once she heard that Hayato was taken down by “the yo-yo guy,” she insisted that Tsuna take her with him to Kokuyo Land
Invasion
Not long after entering Kokuyo Land, Yamamoto falls into the underground battlefield and begins his fight against Ken
Immediately after the fight, Chikusa came back for a rematch. Marinette gladly obliged.
She then proceeded to take him down, messily but effectively. She was ready for him this time.
During lunch, in which Mari had brought some food she had prepared the day before, M.M. attacked
Mari had to be held back, as she had worked hard on that food
After M.M. is taken down, Mari attempted to kick her unconscious body
During the Birds encounter, she needs to be held back again (sensing a theme here) as to not try to kill him for his actions
She is sicked on him after the Bloody Twins were taken out,
She takes part in the Lancia Battle Royal. She tries to attack him from a distance using her yo-yos. She is then taken out of the battle by the Steel Serpent Ball nearly grazing her arm.
She was Impressed by Tsuna’s take down of “Mukuro,” but is then quickly embarrassed by his lack of clothes.
Mukuro Rokudo
The group enters the main building to confront Mukuro
While Hayato went to hold off Chikusa and Ken, Tsuna, Mari, and Bianchi went to the theater to confront the illusionist
After Kyoya, still trying to fight in a well broken body, takes him out, Mari and the rest begin to celebrate...
...Until Mukuro gets back up and shoots himself in the head
This allows Mukuro to possess the bodies of his comrades, Bianchi, Kyoya (temporarily), and later Hayato.
Mari then attempts to hold them off for a bit, until the possessed Futa nicks her with the knife he used on Bianchi
Aftermath
Marinette wakes up soon after the Vindice takes the Kokuyo Trio away
While she is a bit upset that she got taken out so quickly, she is relieved he’s gone
Especially after she learned he took over her body. Going on her hitlist.
She helps carry the now unconscious Tsuna back to Namimori

A Kingdom For A Book: Good Omens/KHR Fic
So...guess what I’ve been watching obsessively the last few weeks? Had to try and hash some of this out before the weekend so I could concentrate on DK&T.
A Kingdom for a Book Good Omens/Katekyo Hitman Reborn
Tsuna, Yamamoto, Gokudera and Ryohei are in Italy, having breakfast with Nono and his respective guardians when it happens.
The Tenth generation had been invited (or, translated into civilian, abducted in the dead of night the day after graduating middle school) to spend the summer break at the Vongola Mansion. However, Hibari had been...forceful, in his refusal, while Mukuro and Chrome had declined and vanished before anyone could talk them into it. Lambo, while excited at the idea at returning home, had refused to leave Nana alone, and had been given the ‘very important job’ of protecting the woman while the teens were away.
Tsuna rather sorely wishes he could have traded jobs with his young lightning. The ‘break’ part of the trip had turned out to be very apt, because tutoring on Vongola grounds was ten time worse than in Namimori, where Reborn had to at least pretend he was bound by foolish things like land ownership, Hibari’s territory issues and physics. The hitman had been enjoying every minute of Tsuna torment, to the surprise of absolutely no one. As such, nobody is really surprised when Reborn walks in and slaps four airline tickets on the table.
“It’s time for your Vongola Negotiation Trial,” he says, as if it explains anything.
Granted, it’s Reborn, so explanations have always been optional. If not for the fact that the man-turned-baby-and-now-rapidly-going-through-puberty-again-teenager always landed on his feet, Tsuna would swear blindly that he just made things up on the spot.
“What’s a Vongola Negation Trial?” he asks, mostly to get things over with. If he doesn’t ask what Reborn is talking about, Yamamoto will, which will set Gokudera off on a giant rant only 2 people in the room can follow, and it’s just too early in the morning for that.
To his surprise, Nono is the one that answers, folding his hands and smiling at his heir.
“It’s a right of passage for all young mafia” he explains. “Especially those in boss positions. It’s a test to show your intelligence, charisma and skill at obtaining objectives.”
Yamamoto laughs and leans over to wrap an arm around Tsuna’s shoulders.
“This’ll be easy Tsuna,” he says. “Those are some of your best qualities.”
“Hieee?”
“Don’t touch the Tenth so casually!” Gokudera hisses at the rain, before he face does some spectacular muscle rearranging to smile at Tsuna.
“But he’s right Tenth! This will be a cakewalk for you,” he insists.
“Sawada can negotiate to the extreme!” Ryohei agrees.
“What? But I’m not good at-”
“Regardless,” Reborn say, talking over him. “As the future Decimo, your role will require exceptional negotiation skills. Granted, this is something you have proven to have a knack for, so this is merely a formality to prove your prowess.”
Tsuna stares at the delighted faces around him and sighs.
As much as he wants to keep arguing, he’s acutely aware of the pointlessness of such an act. At least a ‘negotiation trial’ probably won’t be as violent as Reborn’s usual training. If they have to leave the country, the man can only have so long to-
Oh crap...he’s sending them to a war zone isn’t he?
“Hieee...”
The hitman pretends he doesn’t hear Tsuna’s squeak, and pulls out what appears to be a photograph from his suit pocket.
“The Ninth gave me a selection of possible outbreaks and riots that require ceasefires” he explains. “However, as your tutor, I believe in pushing you to great things, and for that reason, I have decided to give you the toughest negotiation challenge known to man.”
Tsuna pales as he watches Nono’s guardians pale, the man himself leaning forward in something resembling horror.
“Reborn, you can’t possibly be planning to send him there...”
Tsuna watches in astonishment as every mafioso in the room steps back, the photo dropping from Reborn’s hand to the desk.
“Sawada Tsunayoshi” his tutor says. “You must enter the shop of A.Z.Fell & Co in London, and leave with a legally purchased book.”
“...I’m sorry, what?” Tsuna says, just before the entire room erupts in full on outrage.
“Reborn, you cannot be serious-”
“There are limits to your madness-”
“At least give him a fighting chance! A gang war in Nicaragua started a few days ago, send him there!”
Tsuna can only stare at the horrified Mafioso in pure confusion, before picking up the photograph. It boasts an old brick building, with an older gentleman on the stair just exiting the door. He’s dressed a good century out of fashion, but there’s a presence, even in the photo, that makes Tsuna feel he’d look more out of place in modern clothing.
“This is Mr. Fell?” he asks, once the yelling calms down. Everyone in the room sort of glance at each other, before sagging back down into their seats.
“One of them” Nono replies. “The book store has been open since the 1800’s, passed down his family, and has been the bane of many a collector. There are few rare texts, especially of the biblical or prophetic nature, that Fell & Co do not possess.”
“But, then why is it a bane?”
The entire room offers a mirthless chuckle.
“Because the Fell family go to extreme lengths to make sure they never part with a single volume” Coyote explains. “It hasn’t so much as broken even since it opened. We’re not even sure why they have the bookshop rather than just a private collection. It’s got to be some kind of tax thing, though we’re still not sure what considering how immaculate they appear, but regardless, just because those books are in a shop, does not mean they’re for sale.”
“...Has anyone ever succeeded?” Tsuna asks. Everyone immediately turns to Reborn, who is wearing his trademark look of smug, and Tsuna sags.
“Let me rephrase. Has anyone human ever succeeded?” he rephrases, and Reborn chuckles.
“There are stories that suggest the sixth Manachelli boss managed to make it out with a ‘wicked bible’” he tells him. “But given that all ten known copies are currently recorded elsewhere, nobody believes it.”
“Tsunayoshi...” Nono begins. “While I have full trust in Reborn’s decisions, I must tell you that there is no dishonour in failing this trial. Many mafioso have failed. Even Xanxus could not pry a volume from Fell’s hands.”
“Xanxus tried?” Tsuna squeaks, and Yamamoto gives a low whistle while Gokudera splutters. Nono just nods.
“Nearly every family has attempted it in recent history,” Nono continues. “As such, if you reach a point where you feel you have exhausted every avenue, please retreat, and I will insist upon a different challenge.”
The Don glances over at Reborn.
“That will be acceptable, yes?” he asks the hitman. Reborn merely adjusts his hat.
“I have full confidence in my student,” he replies. “But I can accept those terms. What do you say Dame-Tsuna?”
Tsuna drops his eyes back down to the photo. Takes in the unassuming man and the shop.
Well, at least it’s not a literal war zone.
Looks like he’s going to London.
---
All things considered, Tsuna finds himself pleasantly surprised by London. While the architecture is western and the streets crammed with people of every colour and shape, it lacks the sheer chaotic violence that seems to encompass Italy each time he sets foot there. Instead there’s this subconscious politeness that everyone acknowledges exists (although not necessarily acted upon) that his Japanese upbringing just finds pleasant. While he’s certainly not about to up and move, it’s less of a culture shock than his first unchaperoned visit to Rome.
His guardians seem to be enjoying the trip too. Ryohei’s exuberance and yelling get him some amused looks, and Yamamoto has been taken photos since they got off the plane. Gokudera’s had a giddy look on his face, and while he’s not mentioned anything, Tsuna spotted him grabbing a handful of pamphlets from the hotel’s tourist section regarding ghost tours. He’ll have to remember to ask Yamamoto to ‘guard’ him one night so Gokudera doesn’t feel guilty about slipping away.
In fact, Tsuna is surprisingly optimistic about the whole thing, right up until they reach the area of Soho and gets hit with the sheer oddity of the shop. His trio of guardians, equally enamoured by London’s streets, quickly spot the issue itself.
“How is this place still standing?” Gokudera asks, glancing around at the high street retail brands and expensive bistro bars, before turning his attention back to the dull red building that takes up a significant chunk of the corner. “It’s got to be the only independent building on the street.”
“It’s really well located too,” Yamamoto says, pushing up on his tiptoes to look inside the windows. “My Dad would kill for this kind of location, but there’s no one inside. There should at least be a few window shoppers, right?”
“This is insane,” Gokudera continues muttering. “Surely the local council would have slapped a compulsory purchase order on the owner by this point.”
Ryohei is frowning too, walking forward and frowning at a sign on the door.
“These opening times are crazy to the extreme.”
He’s not wrong. Tsuna almost finds himself gaping at the ramblings provided. This shop’s opening hours are the business equivalent of a 100 sided dice roll. Judging from his expression, Gokudera can’t decide if he’s frustrated or impressed. Yamamoto already had his phone out and snapping a photo for posterity.
Astonishingly enough though, while the opening hours are few and far between, the shop is currently open, and with a very put upon sigh, Tsuna pushes the door open and steps inside.
---
His plan is simple. Walk in, find a book that looks particularly cheap or badly damaged and then hope his intuition helps him struggle through the haggling.
Unfortunately, this plan immediately hits a snag when he walks into the shop and feels his intuition goes crazy. There’s no danger or alarm...it just...really, really doesn’t want to be there. It sort of does the mental equivalent of whimper and curl up into a small ball underneath a metaphysical table, and Tsuna wants to about face and walk straight out the door.
Unfortunately, that isn’t an option, because his three friends are still blocking the way, and Gokudera is already hyperventilating, eyes locked on a bookshelf that’s almost changed colour from the amount of dust.
“Is that a first edition Liver De Coloribus Coeli?” he squeaks. “In a bookshop?”
Tsuna has absolutely no idea what a ‘liba de colour bus’ is, or what is so surprising about finding it in a bookshop, but he leaves his right hand to salivate (already the bomber has about five books in his arms, clearly forgetting the odds of leaving with any one of them), and walks around the room.
The building itself doesn’t seem dangerous, but there’s definitely something off about it. There’s an odd damp smell that sticks in your nose and is decidedly uncomfortable. The books themselves are in no clear order, strewn about almost haphazardly, and not a single staff member in sight...which is definitely odd considering Tsuna has it on good authority that this is a store that ‘sells’ the literary equivalent of diamonds. There should at least be a guard, surely?
His intuition peeks out from underneath it’s metaphysical table just long enough to nudge him in the direction of a back room, but the closer he gets, the more awkward the building feels. He tests his intuition by doing an 180 and walking towards the door, and is utterly baffled by the feeling of ‘yes! Yes! Do that!’ that follows.
“Is it just me?” Yamamoto begins as he inspects a half empty bookshelf near a window, hand rubbing the back of his neck where hair is standing on end. “Or does this place feel really unpleasant?”
“It is extremely uncomfortable” Ryohei agrees, leaning next to the door, and that has Tsuna standing up a little straighter. It’s one thing for his intuition to be upset, another thing entirely for Ryohei to pick up on it.
Gokudera seems to realise this as well, because he’s paused in his manic search for books to glance around the building.
“It’s as if the building itself is telling us to go away,” he concludes, and his face lights up.
“Maybe it’s a ghost? A real, live UMA here in London. This shop is old, it’s entirely possible. Dammit, I should have brought some equipment!”
Yamamoto is grinning at the bomber, and Tsuna sags. Any desire to leave has quickly vanished in the wake of ‘supernatural-oddities-are-afoot-Hayato.’
His attention is only drawn away from his storm when he hears the rather dismayed gasp that comes from the other side of the room.
‘Customers, oh dear.’
Tsuna swings round to take in the very well dressed man who looks very disappointed to see them.
‘Ah, hello,’ Tsuna begins, frantically trying to remember his English lessons. ‘We, um, looking for, ah-’
“I speak Japanese” Mr Fell interrupts. “But you really should leave now. I don’t have any stock you would be interested in.”
Gokudera immediately moves forward, gesturing to the dozen books now in his hands.
‘I need all of these!’ he says in English with a grin. ‘Name your price. I can’t believe they were all just sitting in the open.’
This just makes Mr Fell go from disappointed to horrified, and Tsuna winces. Gokudera’s forgotten the point of this whole trip – the books must be truly incredible for his right hand to be this obsessed. Which doesn’t bode well for anyone.
“These books aren’t for children,” Mr Fell replies. “Please put them back where you found them.”
Gokudera’s smile vanishes.
“Are you kidding? There’s a genuine ‘Anatomy of a Chupacubra’ and ‘Fantasy of a Star’s Soliloquy’ in here. You know how long I’ve been looking for copies of those?”
“There are extremely rare,” Mr Fell agrees. “Which is all the more reason to put them back before you damage them. Please, some of those volumes are fragile.”
He moves to take the books forcibly from Gokudera’s hands, and the teen moves back. Before Tsuna can even consider interjecting, Yamamoto is already slipping between the two with a smile.
“Won’t you reconsider?” he asks. “This is a book shop, we’re book buyers. Everything can work out, don’t you think?”
Yamamoto’s easy going grin can and has eased the ire of more than one Mafioso over the years, but Mr Fell however is not included in that number. He’s looking even more upset at being kept from his stock.
“This is doing nothing to convince me you can have ownership of such valuable items,” he says. “Do you even know what they cost?”
“We have money,” Ryohei offers, and Mr Fell scoffs.
“Money does not buy respect or protection,” Mr Fell replies, and glares when Gokudera snorts in laughter.
Tsuna isn’t even certain how he does it. His intuition twinges, and he thinks he hears a finger snap, but quicker than the eye can follow, the man has plucked almost every book from the bomber’s hands, vanishing them under the counter. Gokudera only stops gaping in shock when the man returns to grab the last few books in his hands, clutching them tightly to his chest.
“Fuck you! I’m not leaving without them!” he swears. Mr Fell just purses his lips.
“Yes you are. Put them on that table this instant, or I will be forced to do something I’d rather not.”
Tsuna’s intuition spikes. The man isn’t bluffing, and Tsuna doesn’t have the information to know exactly what he’s promising.
“Gokudera, drop them” Tsuna pleads, and while Gokudera looks at him in dismay, something in Tsuna’s face makes him capitulate. Tsuna is far more relieved than he should be when the bomber submits, placing the books on a nearby table with almost tender care. A hand brushes the top volume with a move one would almost call tender had it not been from Gokudera, while Yamamoto tugs at his other arm.
“I’ll be back for you,” he whispers, only to turn and scowl at Mr. Fell as he’s guided to the door. The book owner seems quite delighted that everything went so smoothly, but Tsuna hesitates as he reaches the door.
“I can’t leave London without a book,” he tells Mr. Fell. The man gives him a tight smile.
“Then I hope you enjoy London,” he says. “You’ll be here for some time.”
The man moves forward and ushers Tsuna out the door. He stumbles as he trips on the top step, only saved from falling down the lot by Ryohei, and turns to see Mr Fell lock the door and swing the sign from Open to Closed.
“What an asshole,” Gokudera growls.
“Now I get why everyone got extremely worried when we came here,” Ryohei agrees. “He’s an extremely challenging opponent.”
Tsuna nods as he pulls away from the boxer, gingerly walking down the steps.
“Lets go to the hotel,” he says. “I think we might need to call some people.”
His friends grin as they head down the street, shoulders loosening when the realise Tsuna isn’t all that upset about getting kicked out. To be honest, he’d have been more surprised if they hadn’t been. It’s not like he’d expected to succeed on the first try.
But maybe it’s time to get some more data to work with.

I’m on Vacation #3
[Katekyo Hitman Reborn] (hints of other manga/anime)
Next Chapter | Previous Chapter
I’m on Vacation on AO3
Summary: Tsuna had just saved the world from ending (after going through some epic journey and getting stronger. Maybe he gains psychic powers or some sort of metahuman powers) and he finally, finally returns home after months/years only to be faced with Reborn.
Features: BAMF Tsuna with utterly no fucks to give about anything, beyond the people he cares about…
The Magical Mage AU only some people asked for and that I put too much thought into and ended up with a fanfiction.

Chapter #3: I Think I Hate You
XXxxxxXX
Tsuna doesn't even bother trying to hide that he's leaving.
His next destination is the Hibari Compound and if the murder baby wants to try and sneak in, well more power to him. It's not Tsuna's job to warn him about the Hibari's. Hell, Tsuna didn't even want the baby tutoring him in the first place, so not his problem.
Stepping back onto the streets, Tsuna turns to the right, heading into the older section of town. Even though the Hibari's weren't responsible for the creation of Namimori they were one of the main sponsors that helped the town get built. They had originally funded important infrastructure like the schools, and the library and were still highly influential in Namimori politics. Even to this day, they were known to take control of random assets of Namimori and set them straight, like the current child, who if Tsuna wasn't mistaken was currently trying to shape up the rather poor school system that was Namimori Public Elementary School.
Which reminds him, he should probably bring a gift or something. The Hibari's were very particular about traditions.
He thought about it for all of a minute.
Nah.
Weapon baby was still following him, and even if he was a Sink, he was still probably a decent fighter. Tonfa boy would probably like that. That should be enough of a gift.
Stepping in front of a large, traditional Japanese gate, Tsuna raised his hand, pressing on the intercom by the door. After a second, a voice answered.
"Local Business? Or a contract?"
Tsuna smiled. "Both. I only bring quality entertainment, after all."
A second voice scoffed. No doubt one of the Hibari's were listening in. They were canny enough to know, that his reasons for visiting were important.
"And your follower?"
Tsuna smiled, all teeth and no warmth.
"Do what you want with my stalker. He's my gift to you. Though be careful, he's possibly the closest thing to a gun-wielding Tonberry you're going to get on this side of the world."
There was silence after that comment, probably because they were trying to figure out his comment but in the end, it didn't matter because the gate started to open.
Instead of admitting only him, Tsuna noticed that the gate was open for several moments, no doubt letting in his rather annoying stalker. Boring baby could have been literally anyone and they just let him in through the front door like he was the mailman or something.
Talk about terrible security. Or maybe arrogance.
It made his fingers itchy. If Hiei saw this he would have a conniption.
But, whatever, not his problem.
Walking inside, Tsuna nodded to the one servant waiting for him in the entryway and let them lead him inside. He wasn't stupid enough to attempt to navigate himself through the labyrinth that was known as the Hibari household. Greater men than he have tried and failed. Tsuna would rather not end up hopelessly lost. [1]
He had other things to do. He's got a busy schedule of naps planned for the day and this whole mess is getting in the way of that.
Finally, after what seemed after like ten minutes of walking, the servant stops him in front of a random set of paper doors. The servant opens the doors and stepping through Tsuna takes a seat at the only piece of furniture in the room, a low table with seat cushions. He can sense the older of the Hibari's talking to some other people, likely their minions and it annoys him a little. He impatiently waits for the Hibari's to finish their whole intelligence meeting while glancing at the clock.
He missed breakfast, and besides the small snacks he got at Suzuka's shop, he was still very hungry. Hopefully, they'd finish soon so he can get some real food. And maybe check his emails. He still hadn't had a chance to really look at his inbox since he sent the chain mail update around to all his friends, minions and his frenemies. Heck, if this meeting finished early enough he could probably cut off anything stupid his friends did before it got off the planning stage—
A paper door on the other side of the room opens and four people step through, all wearing traditional kimonos and all various ages. Its was Tonfa boy's parents, tonfa boy himself and that one servant from earlier. The Hibari's took a seat on the opposite side of the table, and the servant served them a collection of foods and drinks. The spread was mostly Japanese tea cakes and sweets but, thankfully none of it made it to his side of the table. Contrary to the random green tea stuff the Hibari's were eating, Tsuna side of the table had western foods and desserts.
Taking a sip of his coke, Tsuna smiled up at the group, all teeth rather than any kind of warmth because now that he was sitting across from the Hibari's he could sense the flames just under their skin. It was close enough to fire magic that he never would have never known the difference had he not known about the existence of flames, but now that he was looking. He could see the difference. Even at this distance from his stalker, his magic was being siphoned off, but the Hibari's flames were unaffected. Their flames were not magic or mana. So by process of elimination that left only flames or some unknown power source.
But knowing his luck it was probably flames.
Frowning at the trio, Tsuna signed.
By the grace of the goddess, he hoped he was wrong.
Gathering his thoughts, he placed his drink back on the table.
"When you applied to be part of the Opion Guild, did you do so with the knowledge that you and your family were lying?" Tsuna said testing them. He wanted to know what they did. Maybe this was just a misunderstanding? Maybe they had assumed that the guild knew about the mess called the 'mafia'? It could be anything.
(Hopefully, anything that did not in any way deal with hiding secrets. Because that would mean so much fucking work. And he did not do work. Because he was still on vacation.)
But even as he looked at the elder two Hibari's sitting across from him. He could feel his hopes dying. Neither of them looked the least bit surprised. At all. [2]
They knew.
After his conversation with Suzuka, and from what Hiruma had said Tsuna had an inkling that something was up. It was one thing if Suzuka had gotten the information late, or it was delayed by trying to get information from the Hibari, but the fact that many weapons had somehow, someway made it passed the Hibari's made him was suspicious. Plus, add in the fact that Suzuka himself didn't know anything about a random Sink in the town and it becomes obvious that something is up with the Hibari's.
They may not be very magical themselves (or if his suspicion was right, at all), but a Sink's very presence affects everyone, from the most powerful mages to the weakest of mages. It would have been obvious either through any magical kinsman or residents of Namimori what was going on and yet they had told no one.
So that left only one answer.
The Hibari's had likely known about both the mafia and the magical world and tried to hide their knowledge from the guild in direct opposition to their oaths to the guild. Tsuna had known the Hibari's tended to regard everything outside their compound with the same fondness as the plague, but this was well past the line.
Slumping on the table, Tsuna put his face into his hands collecting his thoughts depressingly.
Suddenly the whole stalker baby wasn't as much as a problem as it had been ten minutes ago. For one thing, once the whole mafia boss thing fell though the baby would have probably left, but this, this right here was going to take so much work to correct. And the paperwork! The sheer amount of paperwork made him want to flee. He could just imagine it now.
Counting backward from a hundred he tries to think of happier things and ignore the idiots sitting across from him but its hard. Hibari Senior is looking at him like this mess is his fault, while Lady Hibari herself looks like someone outlawed fighting, and tonfa boy looks pouty. Tsuna can feel his temper rising.
Oh hell no.
They don't get to be pissed, they created this mess.
A crack breaks the silence as ice starts to crystallize on the wood around him. The utter gall of this family is just so maddening. Tsuna didn't care if they thought the sun shined out of their arrogant foreheads, they signed the same documents that every single member of the guild did, and they used its services knowing full well that they were lying.
Only just reigning in his temper (he didn't want to freeze his food), Tsuna leveled an angry look at the trio, specifically the parents.
"So you knew and continued to lie. Repeatedly." Tsuna said more sentence than a question. "Well, I hope you like work because you are going to clean it up—"
"The Hibari do not follow orders. We—"
"Are criminals," Tsuna hissed turning the room cold. "As of this moment, you and your kin are exiled from the magical world. I've dealt with troublesome people, and the fact that you lied so brazenly is going to piss off a lot of people. I've already sent off a signal to the gates. You have twelve hours to collect your people and leave behind anything to do the magical world. Failure to do so will force me and the rest of the guild to act. Now, shut up, because we are going to have a talk."
The Hibari patriarch and his wife glared, fingers inches to their weapons trying and failing to intimated him and/or fight him, but Tsuna was so done with their crap.
Tapping on the table, Tsuna activated one of his quick spells. Instantly, bright, blue lines formed on the floor beneath the Hibari's and twisted and transformed into candles, long and pointy floating only inches from the trio, freezing them in place. If they moved even an inch, they would be stabbed. And yet of the three, tonfa boy's are merely an illusion. Even though he's angry, Tsuna keeps to his morals. But just in case, it was probably safe to ensure that none of the Hibari could force him into a fight.
He got a lot to go through and not a whole lot of patience so the faster he can get through all the official stuff and then get to his actual problem the faster he can go home.
"Now—" Tsuna doesn't even get two words in before he's interrupted.
Several paper doors opened from behind him and the army of Hibari bodyguards and clansman appeared armed to the teeth, weapons ready and poised at him. Though Tsuna isn’t sure why he’s so surprised. He should have expected this kind of stubbornness from the Hibari. They personified the kind of temper tantrums he had associated with bratty two-year-olds.
When the Hibari didn't get their way, they default to trying to beat the opposing party.
Tsuna sighed.
How was this his fucking life?
Reaching into his magic Tsuna summons more spells tapping into the magic he hadn't had to use for nearly a year. He calls forth the might of water. Its better for him use something relatively weak, less he accidentally squish someone.
"Ars Nova: Comselh."
Drops of water glittered in the light, growing and warping as it encircles and engulfs all of his attackers, trapping them in giant spheres made of water. However, the water was only in shells, so air would still be present but no one would be able to move. It was kind of like looking at the world's ugliest snow globes. Well, if snow globes normally contained one's enemies and not snow, but Tsuna figures no one would care about that. As long as the Hibari groupies couldn't poke him with sharp, stabby objects, he'd count it a win.
Sadly, even though he had figured out how to contain the Hibari's, he still has to mediate out an actual punishment and do paperwork. Paperwork!
Just the thought alone is enough to make his skin crawl.
Glaring at the trio across from him, trying rather fruitless to deactivate the spell, Tsuna starts banging his head on the table. The pain is anything but helpful to his current situation, but Tsuna knows that if he doesn't do something, he is going to crack. First, he has to deal with undesirable weapon baby, and now he has to do something official-ish to the Hibari Family because they decided that rules were for lesser mortals.
He hates being official. It's such a soul-crushing and paperwork filled existence.
"I hate you all," Tsuna tells them, feeling so done with them. "If you had just said you were criminals or mutants, or goddess-damned aliens I would be okay with some of this and I could just punish you all a little, and then life would continue. But no, Suzuka was offended by the lack of information, and people are going to notice, and this is all your fault." He tells them miserably.
He slumps over the low table and summons the official guild handbook searching through the pages for the list of punishments. It takes him a few minutes to dig through the thick rule book but eventually he gets to the section on punishments. And then pauses. Most of them are pretty gruesome, and others are so strange that Tsuna fidgets just thinking of them.
Like, seriously.
Who thought of an eternity of watching paint dry as punishment?
That was so incredibly demeaning, if not just mind-numbing. Maybe he should bring this up at the next meeting? There was no way this list of punishments was guild-approved. If nothing else, Tsuna was pretty sure this was some kind of prank. They certainly had several pranksters in their guild but—
"I would ask that you release my family." A voice said, as small tiny hands poked into his back.
Tsuna blinked.
Another child?
He was under the impression that the Hibari's only had one child. Unless they lied about that too...
Tsuna had a sinking feeling.
How many more lies could they tell?
The child repeated the words, this time more fiercely. The prodding in his back growing a little more painful.
Tsuna groans. "Fine, whatever. But no one stabs anyone until we solve this mess." He says snapping his fingers, the water spheres fall into puddles on the floor. The candles surrounding the trio also vanish, releasing them, and although the parents are still glaring at him, neither make a move towards him.
Something about the newcomer has stalled their actions.
Perhaps, they dislike spilling blood in front of an innocent minor? Tsuna doesn't know. They certainly never censored themselves on his account, nor in front of tonfa boy. Perhaps, it was some difference in house rules or something...? He didn't know.
The presence behind him moves to his right and takes a seat at the low table. Tsuna's eyes go impossibly wide. He can't believe what he's seeing. One of the servants idly serves the baby some snacks and tea but Tsuna couldn't care less. Because this new reality is mind breaking.
"Is he your kid too?" He blurts out unable to keep himself from stuttering. (The baby chokes on his green tea.)
There were two of them! TWO! He can barely deal with tonfa boy, and now there are two of them.
Why?! Was this some sort of punishment? This is completely unfair.
"I hate you in the weirdest way I've ever hated anyone," Tsuna snaps at the only two adults at the table, he's feeling unfairly beset on all sides. "Having one kid wasn't enough, you had to inflict two of them on me. Two of them."
He takes back any thought of sympathy he had for the pair because this entire mess is utter crap, and he hates everything. He just knows if something happens to the pair, he'll be the one to deal with the kids, and its a job that he feels very unqualified for. Like ten thousand percent under-qualified for, considering his only options are to send tonfa boy to a deserted island, or some other place far, far away just so he doesn't have to deal with them. His options are not looking good.
Thankfully, though Tsuna doesn't have to start trying to figure which deserted island to sent the two children to because tiny Hibari speaks up.
"I apologize for the deception, but I am not their child." The not-child in a red Chinese outfit tells him and suddenly Tsuna can hear the angels singing. So the kid only looks like the violent teenager? That's perfect. Lookalikes are good. He can deal with lookalikes. Yay for doppelgangers!
"I am Fon, a relative of the Hibari family." The baby tells him placing his tea back on the table. "Why have you ignored the rules of hospitality on clan property?" He continues evenly, his voice changing from amused to angry within a few words. Tsuna can't help but be impressed about the change of tone so easily. That kind of skill deserved props. Tsuna only knew a few people who could pull off that kind of masterful language tone, and most of them are old(ish). Adult-ish.
It makes him look at the baby more fiercely. He notices a red pacifier and the strange maturity beyond the baby's years. That's the second time in as many days that he's been faced with some Kokiri like baby.
Perhaps he's like murder baby? The boring baby had a yellow pacifier if he wasn't mistaken. Was it a symbol of something? A club? A fashion choice? He didn't know. Though this makes another point in the older than he looks tally. Tsuna seriously doubts any baby could sit so perfectly or calm in traditional Japanese format. [3]
Munching on some food, Tsuna mulls over his next words thinking carefully.
There were just too many unknown variables and not enough information for him to go on. He was missing something, probably a lot of somethings, but from what he could tell so was the miniature Hibari in front of him.
As a member of the Hibari family, tiny Hibari should have known who he was talking to, and the fact he didn't, was odd, to say the least. His identity should have been obvious, even infamous across the magical world, and yet here tiny Hibari was demanding answers. If it had been any of his friends, the tiny baby would be missing limbs, as very few of the guild's members appreciated arrogance or threats.
Maybe he was just confident in his fighting strength?
But how to test him?
Tapping his finger to his cheek, Tsuna decides to just come out and say what's going on. "Your clan broke the oaths. If anyone else had been present you would be looking at smears instead of time-outs." He said leaning his head on his arm. He's starting to feel sluggish. Even with the snacks on the table, he was still very hungry. The mana usage wasn't helping either. He had probably burned through a couple thousand calories in the last ten minutes.
The baby's eyes narrowed. His hands wrapped tightly around his teacup. "What oaths? Omerta has been kept."
Tsuna shrugs not knowing what this 'Omerta' is and turns to the tonfa kid's parents. From what he can assume, this 'Omerta' was an oath? Maybe a mafia oath? But what for? Pushing that thought to the side, Tsuna decides to tackle the most pressing issue.
"So I wasn't the only one you kept in the dark." He notes looking pointedly at the older Hibari's. "How am I not surprised?" He says turning back to the little red baby. He grabs some more cookies from the table trying to take the edge of his hunger and ponders how to set this whole situation right again.
So somehow he needs to tell the tiny Hibari that his family has effectively sold their entire family's souls for information and now he and his kin are criminals to a world that he didn't know existed. Perfect.
Combing his hand through his hair Tsuna steels himself with the thought of ice cream in his future and forces himself to go on. He can't let this matter continue the way it has. Red baby Hibari needs to know what he's been bargained for, and then he needs to punish the family. Somehow.
Well...
Figuring he'd better get this show on the road, Tsuna starts at the beginning. "You said Omerta, correct?"
Baby Hibari nods but doesn't say anything.
"Than we'll start there," Tsuna said grabbing some more food. "Humans have long held the possibility to be more than mundane. I'm sure you've seen examples of this during your time with..." Tsuna paused, not sure what to call the mess that was supposedly organized crime, before deciding it didn't matter. "...the underworld, but beyond the parlor tricks of criminals, there have long been other groups. Other types of powers."
The baby (Fan? Fran? Farn? What was his name again?) blinks rather shocked at that comment but doesn't interrupt.
"Remember that technique I used to capture the other Hibari and their minions?" Tsuna asks, starting to see disbelief inch into the eyes of the baby. "That wasn't an illusion. That was magic, granted very sophisticated magic, but magic all the same."
The baby frowns. "Not flames?"
Tsuna shakes his head. Lots of people would have things to say if he used any type of flame magic. Lots of pointy, dangerous things.
"Hell no," Tsuna says candidly, "I'm not stupid. Besides flame magic is vastly looked down upon in the Myriad world. It's pretty much a cop-out for wimps."
"Myriad world?"
Tsuna sighed. "Right basics... Okay, kid here's the cliff notes version. The Myriad World is the world of magic. Magic's existence has kept secret from most of humanity through several very important spells, politics, and duck tape. Guilds exist to keep this magic regulated, and set rules in place. Most if not all major governments know of its existence. Except, apparently for the vast majority of whatever your group is. Here's an example." Waving his hand, he ignored the tension coming from the baby and instead summoned several small spheres of the basic magical elements, letting them float to the center of the table.
The little baby's eyes go wide. Tiny Hibari glances to his relatives, obviously looking for some reassurance that he wasn't being fooled, but was startled to see them nod. Tsuna wasn't lying to him. The reality of this new information was mind-blowing. Tiny Hibari is shocked by the news, but he reins it in as he circles back to the present topic.
"You spoke about oaths earlier." The baby notes looking between Tsuna and his relatives. "What oath's have they broken?"
Tsuna sighs and there lies the heart of the problem.
"Your family joined the Opion Guild, a very elite, very powerful guild that allows normal non-magical people to join, with a number of stipulations. Now, normally these stipulations wouldn't apply to your family, but when the Hibari's joined they joined as a group to maximize the amount of influence they could obtain within the Opion Guild." Tsuna pauses for a second to drink some more soda before he finally gets to the heart of the problem. "The leaders of the Hibari's i.e. your relatives signed away your rights as collateral to gain access to valuable items and information."
Fon's eyes went wide. "How?"
Tsuna signed. "They used some fancy seal or something. I'm not really too sure on the paperwork, but I was informed that everyone in the Hibari knew and agreed to the terms." Tsuna snaps his fingers again, and a stack of papers dropped to the table in front of the baby. "Flip to the last page and you'll see what I mean."
Baby Hibari scooped up the paperwork and flipping to the last page saw what Tsuna was talking about. There in black and white was the signature of the older Hibari's and the clan stamp. The baby frowned as he saw the letters and symbols against the white pages. It was exactly as the teen said and going off the fact that it was impossible to replicate clan seal brought an uneasy feeling to the tiny Hibari.
No doubt there was going to be punishment. But what? Was there an option for an appeal? Could they appeal? The baby didn't know anything about this new world until a few minutes ago—
"You can keep that copy," Tsuna told him polishing off the last of the western dishes on the table. "Feel free to browse it. As oath breakers, you can petition to restore rights, but not for six months." He reaches across the table to the Hibari's side to steal some snacks even though he hates Japanese sweets because he is just so hungry.
"Anyways, back on topic. In exchange for using the resources of Opion, the Hibari's had to make two compromises. The first was simple. Anything magical or effecting magical people were to be reported to a specific member of the Opion Guild, and the second was that anything they knew Opion had to know as well." Tsuna leveled a look at the pair. "They did not and that means punishment."
The baby frowned, his eyes like glass. "And the punishment?"
Tsuna groaned. "Give me a second." He flipped through the pages of the punishment section of the guild handbook, thinking. While it was likely true that the list was a prank, technically the punishments were approved, but on the other hand, if any of the more stern guild members found out that the Hibari's were given little more than a slap on the wrist there were going to be some problems. So, he needed to find some medium between the two.
And then a sentence in the guild book caught his eyes and a decision was made.
"So before I tell you all what I've decided, let's review the case, again." Tsuna tells them. "Because we need to be all official... The case is as follows; The Hibari Clan sighed paperwork and gave their oaths to share everything they knew with the Opion Guild in exchange for information and items. From information gathered by guild appointees, the Hibari Clan has broken both sighed oaths."
Tsuna snaps his fingers and several sheets of papers floated in the air above him the oaths highlighted in bright yellow light, growing in size until all at the table could easily read the words present. Tsuna waves his hand again the papers land on the table.
"Now, then with everything from the official script out of the way, here is my ruling."
XXxxxxxXX
Myriad World: or the magical world. Operating in the cracks of the normal world, the Myriad world can be accessed through a number of mediums such as large mirrors, tv's, rivers, lakes, closets and so on. Anything with a large reflective surface/or gateway has and can be used to enter the magical world. Strangely enough, though, non-magical people have been known to fall into the Myriad world.
Basic Magical Elements: Water, Fire, Wind, Earth Advanced Magical Elements: Light, Darkness, Void, Space, Thunder, Ice, Lava, Wood, Metal
Magic and Flames: So even though Hiruma and Tsuna have been calling flames a weaker form of flame magic, they are not really right or wrong. It will be explained later on in more detail.
[1]: So Tsuna doesn't really focus in on Reborn too much in this chapter, but he's stuck in another section of the house away from all the action because of politics. It's not really important but in case anyone was wondering.
[2] Kyoya was only a part of the meeting his parents forced him to be. He doesn't really know or care too much about everything that's going on, beyond the fact that fighting may take place at any moment.
[3] Fon is not a Sink.
This chapter was an absolute pain to write because I felt I was juggling between Tsuna-is-done and I-am-ready-to-die-Tsuna and it was just not working for me. I think its crap, but I'll let the readers decide.

12, tsuna loses his memory after a fight. All guardians and allies feel hurt when they hear that he forgot them...
After five days of Tsuna lying in the infirmary, unconscious, Shamal was relieved when he heard the man emit a soft groan from the cot. Slinging his hands into the pocket of his lab coat, he remarked, “It’s about time, Tsuna.”
The brunette slowly sat up, eyes half-lidded. When his blurred surroundings came into focus, his eyes locked on the lone figure in the room and he froze. Confusion and fear consumed his expression and he asked in panic, “Who’re you? Where am I?”
Shamal froze. For a brief second, he entertained the idea that maybe Tsuna was messing with him, but knew that wasn’t the case. Tsuna wouldn’t make such jokes. “You had an accident,” he spoke slowly, not quite certain he wanted delve into the details just yet.
“An accident?” Tsuna gingerly touched his aching head, where he could feel thick bandages wrapped over the wound. “What kind of accident?”
“You got into a fight and hit your head,” replied Shamal. It was the simplified version of what truly happened, but he needed to get a grasp of just how much Tsuna remembered. “What do you remember last?”
Perplexed, Tsuna thought for a moment. “I…I don’t know,” he answered, voice trembling with fear. “I don’t think I remember anything.”
“Okay, it’s okay,” soothed Shamal. His attention was diverted when he heard footsteps coming down the corridor. Cursing silently, Shamal ordered, “Lie down for a minute. I’ll be right back.”
He strode out of the infirmary and stepped smoothly in Gokudera’s path, preventing him entry. The silver-haired man immediately bristled. “What the hell--?”
Shamal placed his hand over Gokudera’s mouth, cutting off his loud exclamation. Gokudera felt a surge of anger, but it didn’t last long when he caught Shamal’s intent, serious eyes. His protest died on his tongue and, satisfied that Gokudera would be quiet, Shamal lowered his hand.
“He has amnesia.”
Gokudera’s eyes widened with worry and disbelief. “What?”
“He didn’t remember who I was, and didn’t know where he was. The last thing he needs right now is to be overwhelmed. Tell the others what’s going on, and call his father.”
Gokudera stood still for a moment, struggling to contain his surge of emotions and comprehend what Shamal was telling him. “So…you’re saying he won’t remember me.”
“I think now is not the time to test it,” said Shamal, voice light. “We’ll see how he feels in a couple days. But for now, he needs familiarity.”
“Will he remember Iemitsu-san?”
“I hope so. If he doesn’t, well…”
He didn’t finish his sentence and Gokudera didn’t want him to. Though it hurt him to do so, he spun on his heel and walked away from the infirmary. It was less then ten minutes later when Iemitsu arrived, and both he and Shamal felt great relief when Tsuna said, “Dad! What are you doing here?”
“I heard you woke up,” replied Iemitsu, gently running his fingers through Tsuna’s hair. “I came to bring you home.”
Regarding his father, Tsuna’s brow furrowed. “Why are you wearing a tuxedo? You never wear tuxedos.”
Exchanging a quick glance with Shamal, Iemitsu said, “I had a business meeting.”
“For construction?”
Pausing, Iemitsu studied Tsuna and asked carefully, “Tsuna, where do you think we are right now?”
“Namimori, of course.” When his father only looked at him, Tsuna asked nervously, “Aren’t we?”
“We’re actually in Italy,” said Iemitsu.
Tsuna’s eyes nearly bulged out of his head. “What the heck am I doing in Italy? What are you doing in Italy? Where’s Mom?”
His hysteria increased with each question and Iemitsu took him by the shoulders, squeezing firmly. “Relax, Tsuna. You’re okay. Mom is in Japan, but she’ll be on her way. You’re in Italy because of your job. I’m in Italy because of mine.”
“You have a construction job in Italy?” asked Tsuna in confusion.
“Something like that.”
“What do I do? I don’t remember my job.” Tsuna buried his face in his hands with a distressed groan. “Nothing makes sense.”
“Why don’t we just take it easy for now?” suggested Iemitsu. “Shamal-sensei will check you over and then you can come with me.”
Tsuna gave a miserable nod. Iemitsu left the infirmary and strode for the living room, where everyone else had already gathered. Ryohei sprang off the couch and demanded, “How is he?”
“Severely out of it,” said Iemitsu grimly. “He thought he was back in Japan. The ambush took away at least a decade. What happened to the attackers?”
“We took care of them while he was unconscious,” said Hibari. He stood tensely near the window, his expression hard.
“Did he remember you?” asked Yamamoto seriously.
“He did. He remembers his mother, as well. But so far that seems to be it.”
Face crumpling, Lambo said, “He doesn’t remember us?”
Hesitating for a brief moment, Iemitsu said slowly, “I don’t believe so. He doesn’t know what his job is. And if he doesn’t know that…”
Lambo’s breath hitched in his throat and tears welled in his eyes. But he did not cry, and said, “What do we do?”
Chrome reached over to link hands with the teenager. “We wait. We be patient. That’s all we can do.”
No one wanted to ask just how long it would take. They all dreaded what the answer might be.
…
Shamal gave Tsuna medicine for the pain, which made him groggy enough to not notice that his father was escorting him not from a hospital, but rather a massive mansion. He settled his son at his home, which he passed off as a place he was staying while he was on his job in Italy.
Nana arrived two days later, engulfed Tsuna in a hug, and he relaxed at the familiar warmth. But while his parents made him comfortable, Tsuna was distraught when he realized that the memories he retained were from a decade ago.
His own emotions were so strong that he did not feel the concern of his family through his bonds. He also wasn’t aware that his anxiety, fear and confusion were being shared with them. Most of them guarded their own emotions to prevent the intensity from overwhelming them. Some, like Gokudera and Hibari, allowed themselves to experience the full force of Tsuna’s pain.
Kyoko, Yamamoto and Ryohei were the first ones to pay Tsuna a visit. Shamal figured since Tsuna’s clearest memories came from his early middle school days, he would at least recognize them. His hunch was correct, though Tsuna was bewildered as to why they had come all the way to Italy to visit him. As far as he knew, they still lived in Japan.
“We became close friends in middle school,” explained Yamamoto.
“We did?” said Tsuna with a puzzled frown. “But we barely knew each other.” When Yamamoto flinched slightly, Tsuna immediately felt bad for being so blunt. “I’m sorry! I shouldn’t have said that.”
“It’s okay,” soothed Kyoko, reaching out grasping Tsuna’s hand with a smile. “We understand.”
“We’ll do whatever we can to help you remember,” promised Ryohei.
“And if we start to overwhelm you, you can let us know,” added Yamamoto.
Touched by their concern, Tsuna smiled. “Thank you. I’m glad we became friends. I always admired you guys.”
“We admire you,” returned Ryohei. More than you know, he added silently.
…
It was almost torturous, the distance they had to keep between themselves and Tsuna. But the brunette had very nearly freaked out when his father informed him, in very basic terms, that he was the head of a business. It clearly was not the time to inform him he was the Don of the most powerful Mafia Famiglia in history.
Gokudera visited Tsuna next, under the introduction that he was Tsuna’s right-hand man in the business they ran. Tsuna was polite, kind and formal when interacting with Gokudera, and it hurt. It hurt to hear Tsuna revert to ‘Gokudera-kun’, to not be able to be as affectionate as he wanted to be. But he was determined to help Tsuna through this, and even if Tsuna never remembered him or the others, they would rebuild their relationship from the ground up.
Chrome, Haru, and Mukuro were Tsuna’s next visitors, introduced as his co-workers. Mukuro did not miss the way Tsuna recoiled at his blood-red eye, the way he eyed him uncertainly. He never wavered in politeness, but Mukuro felt the ache in his gut. Chrome squeezed his hand, but her eye reflected his sadness. Haru was cheery enough for them both, and Tsuna immediately felt comfortable in her presence.
“Are you siblings?” he eventually asked, staring at Mukuro and Chrome curiously.
Exchanging glances with her male counterpart, Chrome answered, “Yes.”
Tsuna swirled the contents of his tea, a wistful expression on his face. “That’s nice. I sort of always wanted siblings.”
You do have them, Mukuro wanted to say, but refrained, even though it was difficult.
Lambo, I-Pin and Futa were a bit harder to explain, given the circumstances. Iemitsu told Tsuna they were family friends, and when the trio came to visit, loaded down with homework, Tsuna offered to help to the best of his ability. They longed to hug him, but knew it might unsettle the brunette.
Hibari refused to visit Tsuna, at least face-to-face. He knew his presence would only disorient him. As far as Tsuna recalled, Hibari was the strict tyrant that ruled over Namimori with an iron fist. He wouldn’t be able to comprehend why he was in Italy, and it might do more harm than good. So Hibari resorted to watching from a distance, to lingering in the shadows whenever Nana took Tsuna out shopping, or for a walk through town.
The amount of people visiting him astounded Tsuna. He’d never thought he’d know this many people in his life, or at least not to the extent they’d feel inclined to visit him so frequently. As much as he was grateful with their company, with their patience, he couldn’t help but feel empty. The forgotten chunk of his life loomed over him, haunting him, and he couldn’t begin to imagine what he was missing.
But it was more than his lost memory. He didn’t quite feel like himself, like he wasn’t whole. He couldn’t quite put a finger on it, but something meaningful and powerful was gone from his life. He could sort of feel a shadow of it whenever Yamamoto, Gokudera or the others came to see him. Amnesia or not, he was quickly beginning to see that they were important to him. Emotions could not be forgotten so quickly, even if he didn’t understand what they should be or just how strong they were meant to be.
Reborn was the last one to visit Tsuna. He arrived home from a mission, only to discover Decimo had amnesia and his Guardians were trying to keep this fact hidden from the Mafia world. And when they locked eyes, Tsuna froze, staring at the obsidian gaze that was as comforting as it was terrifying.
It was a few days later when his memories returned in a flood, and after a lot of hugging and tears, Tsuna turned to Reborn and remarked fondly, “I guess years of your trauma is just something that can’t be completely forgotten.”
It was the highest compliment Reborn had ever received.

Heya! I love, love, love your KHR/BNHA fic. Have you ever thought of what will happen with his Guardians around? Also if they were born into BNHA-verse?
CONTAIN SPOILERS FROM KHR AND/OR (MINOR) FROM BNHA
Why, yes. Yes, I have.
Okay, so I based their lives on what quirk will they have or what their background is.
I bet that to keep Mukuro from doing anything illegal, Hibari from imposing his iron-clad rules, and Gokudera from establishing Vongola, Tsuna would push them onto heroics — it helps society, it promotes discipline, it involves fighting, and it’s 100% legal.
I imagine that Tsuna and his friends would be 1-A’s senpai. This is mainly to parallel their class placement in Namimori. Back there, they were middle school sophomores. Now, they’re high school sophomores. Hibari, Mukuro, and Ryohei are seniors.
Now I don’t want Lambo to feel left out (that 9-10 year difference is really big), so I decided that he’s in Izuku’s batch, along with Chrome. Don’t get me wrong — I know Chrome is canonically in the same batch as Tsuna, but I thought that she’s 1 year younger and so Lambo wouldn’t be isolated, I moved her down to his grade level.
I also thought it’d be funny if the main male trio (Tsuna, Gokudera, & Yamamoto) became related to BNHA’s main male trio (Deku, Bakugou, & Todoroki). This isn’t just that; their possible quirks are compatible, too! On the other hand, Lambo is related to a canon character only for quirk-related purposes. Lightning flames resemble Electrification quirk too closely, so it would only make sense if he’s related to Kaminari.
As for their classes, I imagined that Tsuna, Gokudera, and Yamamoto were put into Aizawa’s class and when he committed mass expulsion, only those three passed. They can’t exactly hold a special section for 3 people only, so they were absorbed by the other section. Thus, theirs is the only batch in Heroics department with only 1 class comprised of students more than the usual amount.
(More under the cut.)
So here’s a list of their reincarnated names, quirks, and hero names:
Midoriya Ietsuna
Ietsuna: 家 ie “home/family” + 絆 tsuna(gu) “bond (between people)”
Place of Origin: Shizuoka Prefecture (Musutafu, Japan)
Class: 2-A
Hero Name: Blazing Hero, Reborn
Quirk: Dying Will
Special Move: X-Burner
Current appearance: Green hair and orange eyes
Fun fact, the kanji for tsunagu can also mean to tie or fasten, like actual ropeI decided that his name (I-e-tsu-na) would be as such because both Inko (I-n-ko) and Izuku (I-zu-ku) are like that. It matches.
Izuku’s information in the wiki states that his birthplace “near Shizuoka”. The specific city he lives in is Musutafu (isn’t confirmed to be in any particular prefecture). However…
“The Shizuoka area” can be interpreted as either “near Shizuoka” or within Shizuoka itself. So I decided to just specify it as Shizuoka. The reason for this is because some would be in another prefecture (e.g. Lambo, being related to Kaminari whilst the main trio are in Musutafu), so segregate them into groups and put them in different places, I say!
The locations I considered for their birthplaces are either in accordance with their BNHA relatives or accessibility to interactions with others. Shizuoka isn’t too far from Saitama (where Kaminari lives in), so it wouldn’t be too farfetched for Tsuna, Gokudera, or Yamamoto to interact with Lambo prior to attending Yuuei.
Okay, about his hero name. Tsuna would be nothing if Reborn didn’t come in his life, and I’m sure he knows that, too. He appreciates his sadistic tutor for everything he has done and he wouldn’t be the person he is today without Reborn’s guidance. Not to mention the fact that they’ve literally been reborn. So I think he would pay homage to his hitman tutor.
His quirk, Dying Will, is more or less the same as his ability in his past life. There are some parts of it different, like not having petrification anymore and only having access to his Sky flames (no Oath flames sorry!):
It’s a physical manifestation of Tsuna’s life force, taking the form of flames. Literally “dying”, because the more damages he takes, the stronger his fire. Literally “will”, because it only burns what he wills it to burn.
Zero Point Breakthrough: First Edition & Revised only works on organic stuff. Life force is organic. People, animals, and plants are living; also organic. Quirk-made energy such as Kaminari’s electricity can only be absorbed by Tsuna because he produced it himself.
Tsuna can’t absorb normal fire, etc. Tsuna can’t freeze non-living things unless they’re organic (produced by a quirk such as the case with Yaomomo) or they’re covered in organic stuff.
Tsuna’s Hyper Intuition is covered by this quirk, too. Being able to harness one’s life force. Dying Will Flames are harnessed from one’s life force. Due to the way it resonates with one’s emotions, it has been regarded as a type of battle aura. Basically, HI is the manifestation of Tsuna’s aura-sensing abilities/passive aura-related abilities.
Another passive ability would be from the “harmony” aspect of Sky flames. In his quirk, this converts to the “pull” that people feel towards him. Their aura is reacting to his aura.
Midoriya Hisashi can breathe fire. I will assume that his relatives also have fire-related quirks, so Tsuna’s quirk can still fall under it.
Tsuna can’t teach Izuku how to light up flames because his abilities are now a quirk - an ability you’re born with and cannot be taught. Dying Will isn’t like OFA wherein he can pass it on, nor is it like AFO in which he can steal and give abilities he stole.
I included special moves because heroes in BNHA have them. Their special move may not exactly be their strongest. Rather, it’s more of which one in their arsenal is their signature move. In Tsuna’s case, it’s his X-Burner.
Whilst Tsuna and the others may have the same faces, things such as their hair color, eye color, freckles, etc. may be different due to having new parents. We don’t know what Midoriya Hisashi looks like, so I gave Tsuna Inko’s hair color instead. He got orange eyes (like in HDWM) because he is now actively tapping into his life force 24/7 unlike before.
With Tsuna around, surely he wouldn’t let Izuku get bullied, yes? Of course, he’d protect his brother from bullies. However, they are in different grade levels and Izuku seems to be the type to hide his troubles so his loved ones wouldn’t worry (even if he doesn’t know that they know anyway). He probably wouldn’t get too bullied, but it won’t go away. Not with Izuku being quirkless, nor with Bakugou’s twisted inferiority superiority complex.
Bakugou Hayatō/Hayatou
Hayatō: 隼 haya “falcon” + 勝 tō “superior/be superior to”
Place of Origin: Shizuoka Prefecture (Musutafu, Japan)
Class: 2-A
Hero Name: Smoking Hero, Hurricane Bomb
Quirk: Explosive Constructs
Special Move: Rocket Bombs
Current appearance: Silver blond hair and red eyes
Yes, “Hayatō” and not “Hayato”, due to the kanji. Now, the first kanji in his name is the same as his old name, whilst the second is from Masaru 勝. Since Bakugou (Katsuki) is a combination of Masaru and Mitsuki 光己 (Katsuki is 勝己), I thought it’s appropriate for Gokudera to get kanji from their parents. Unfortunately, using Mitsuki’s kanji would in no way be read as “haya”. Luckily, “tō” is an alternate way of reading his father’s kanji. A friend was the one to suggest this to me, although I am unsure if it can be considered a “kira-kira” name due to the reading.
Bakugou lives in the same area as Izuku, so that’s that.
Regarding his hero name, Gokudera has both been referred to as “Smoking Bomb” or “Hurricane Bomb”, so I thought, why not both? …The reason for the description as “Smoking Hero” has something to do with his quirk.
For his quirk, I originally thought of giving him Explosive Fire instead (which is fire that explodes upon contact), but then he wouldn’t need his bombs anymore. Gokudera is bomb-reliant. A quirk without involving bombs for him is complete blast-phemy okay sorry for the forced pun and in the end, I gave him the ability to produce his own fireworks. Details:
As the name implies, Explosive Construct is to create explosives. Its main/default/non-removable property is to create an explosion. Now what is particular about this, is what extra attribute his bomb will have.
This extra aspect depends on what he consumes: food, beverages, vices, and other organic things such as leaves and quirk-made stuff (Yaomomo’s creations, Todoroki’s flames, body crystal from that one villain, etc.). For example, Gokudera smokes a cigarette. That’s considered as consumption since he technically inhales the smoke.
Gokudera smokes so he can produce smoke bombs and light up the other explosives he made.
The explosive property is from Masaru, whilst the “manually made from myself/organically-produced” property is from Mitsuki (Masaru can’t forcibly secrete the explody sweat, but Mitsuki can willfully emit her glycerin).
Now, about Gokudera’s coloring: both parents haven’t been shown in a colored spread so I can’t tell what color their hair and eyes are. However, I can assume that one of them has ash blond hair and red eyes (because that’s what Bakugou has). Blond hair is a light color and so is silver, so I gave Gokudera silvery blond. Red eyes because Bakugou. Yeah.
His relationship with his younger brother would be a little rocky. Both are equally hot-tempered. However, they can be vastly different in which Bakugou grows up to be a jerk and Gokudera’s not; not with his past memories, he wouldn’t. Yes, he would be as abrasive as Bakugou, but he wouldn’t be openly hostile without a proper reason. He’ll be irritated, but wouldn’t want to beat you up or kill you for a small issue.
Not to mention that Gokudera’s a goddamn genius as a child in his past life. What more if he had access to his knowledge as an adult, amirite? Bakugou could have formed a sense of inferiority due to his desire to one-up his older brother, too; sibling rivalry.
This could be the reason for Bakugou to be more polite towards Tsuna and Inko. Tsuna’s the supportive-type of brother who wouldn’t antagonize you. He and Gokudera would probably butt heads a lot. Inko is a motherly adult whom he’s known as a kid so he probably wouldn’t be explosive towards her, unlike his potty mouth mother. Izuku is a different story because he’s quirkless and the fuck ton of issues he has with the other.
Man, Bakugou’s a complicated person.
Todoroki Takeshi
Place of Origin: Shizuoka Prefecture (Musutafu, Japan)
Class: 2-A
Hero Name: Samurai Hero, Shigure
Quirk: Tranquil Rain
Special Move(s): Shigure Soen Ryu
Current appearance: White hair fading into red and blue eyes
I couldn’t think of a good new name for Yamamoto, sorry!
Him being part of the Todoroki family was… unplanned. Originally, Tsuna is supposed to be Todoroki’s older brother due to the fire and ice thing. But then I had that idea with KHR main male trio = BNHA main male trio older brothers so… that’s that. Also, rain flames is watery and you can derive water from fire and ice combined.
Endeavor doesn’t seem to be the type to send his kids to a public school, even if they’re just failures. Orudera isn’t exactly a school for the wealthy/famous, so no Yamamoto there. A possible chance of the trio reuniting would be in kindergarten, elementary school, or meeting each other by chance since they all live in the same city.
Why Samurai Hero? Yamamoto is a swordsman. He’s reliant on using a sword and I bet you that he’d bring his mad blade skills to his next life if he could. Why Shigure? Same name as the sword and the sword style. Also, Shigure 時雨 can mean “drizzle” as a whole and “time/season” + “rain”, respectively (it’s also apparently translated as “Shower in Late Autumn”? Dunno how they got autumn there).
His quirk (and Rain flames) match Shigure perfectly:
Can produce water (”rain” in Shigure).
Water can slow down enemies (the “tranquil” part which was originally from rain flames). This part represents the “time” in Shigure.
Other than the fact that they aren’t flames anymore, Yamamoto’s quirk is no different from Rain flames.
His appearance is based on his new parents. Speaking of Endeavor, Yamamoto’s quirk is indeed a mix of the two. However, I bet this isn’t exactly what the man had in mind when he thought of a perfect quirk to beat All Might. Also, it’s water — not really a good idea to mix with his fire. Yamamoto is no pushover either, and his unfaltering sunny disposition would probably put Endeavor off, too.
I think Todoroki’s Half-Hot, Half-Cold is what he prefers because it’s flashy, powerful, and more wholesomely destructive compared to Yamamoto. This doesn’t mean water is weak and useless; I’m just basing it on Endeavor’s perspective.
With Yamamoto as Todoroki’s brother, I don’t think he’d get as pushed to the limit like in canon, but the other probably can’t prevent every abuse from their burning garbage of a father. He can’t exactly run away, either — since Todoroki isn’t willing to leave willy-nilly (also Endeavor, with his influence and power, can probably drag them back home screaming). They didn’t have the luxury of having the mind of an instant resilient adult when they were born.
He’ll just be a pillar of support for his family, I guess.
Haregawa Ryohei
Haregawa: 晴 hare “sun/sunny” + 川 gawa “river”
Place of Origin: Nagano Prefecture
Class: 3-B
Hero Name: Boxing Hero, Counterpunch
Quirk: Activation
Special Move: Maximum Cannon
Current appearance: Mostly the same, I guess?
I just wanted to give him a new surname instead of a revised given name because I couldn’t think of anything and am an uncreative fuck. The first kanji is literally the one used for Sun flames.
Why live in Nagano? Because Nagano borders more prefectures than any other in Japan which kinda parallels Ryohei’s friendliness/openness and the province’s mountains have made it relatively isolated which mirrors Hibari’s isolationist nature (yes, Hibari also lives in this prefecture).
Not to mention that despite Namimori being somewhat an urban community, there’s a large forest nearby (Future Arc) and Namimori Shrine looks like the ones in the provinces, denoting that it’s a town in a mostly rural area.
Hero name reasoning: simple. He’s a boxer. Also references his Sunshine Counter in KHR.
His quirk is also equally simple. He gets to keep the activation aspect of Sun flames, but not the fire aspect. Activation involves stimulating and augmenting stuff. This gets him to keep everything he can do in KHR:
Punch hard? “Activate” (Augment) his own body.
Heal people? “Activate” their cells and body’s healing factor.
The issue with Sunshine Counter/Uppercut: He can’t do this anymore. Well, either that or he can somehow absorb the impact of someone’s hit and activate his body so he can send it back + force from his own power, so double the damage.
About Ryohei’s appearance, I’m not sure about changing anything because his quirk isn’t closely similar to anyone that I’d need him to be related to them, thus, changing his appearance in a way.
I put him, Hibari, and Mukuro in 3-B because I assume that the Big 3 are in 3-A and I didn’t want to put them all in the same class. That’s it. There’s no deeper reason behind it.
Kaminari Ranbō/Ranbou
Ranbō: 乱 ran “disordered/chaotic“ + 暴 bō “acting with destructive force”. Together, 乱暴 is “roughness/violent/rude/act recklessly”.
Place of Origin: Saitama Prefecture
Class: 1-A
Hero Name: Lightning Hero, Lambo
Quirk: Lightning Rod
Special Move: Elettrico Cornata
Current appearance: Black hair and gold eyes
I made him related to Kaminari because as I have mentioned near the beginning, it’s quirk-related. Lightning flames are similar to actual electricity. That hits too close to home and I couldn’t let a chance pass wherein I can give Lambo a proper, BNHA-canon biological family. He and Kaminari are twins, with him as the younger one.
About his name, I learned that the romaji for Lambo’s name is an actual word. So I used it as his new given name. It references the role of the Lightning Guardian which is ”To draw damage to himself and away from the rest of the Famiglia, serving as a lightning rod.“.
He belongs in Saitama, because that’s where his brother lives.
Hero name time! So the Lightning Hero is a no-brainer, and I figure that Adult!Lambo (which is the mentality he had before he died) would be pretty laid-back so to speak; thus, he would choose something that isn’t too complicated and has sentimental value… which is his previous life’s name.
For his quirk, it has one major difference from Kaminari’s Electrification — Lambo can’t produce his own electricity. As the name suggests, he’s a human lightning rod; he can only absorb (and release) electricity. It’s why he charges himself with an outside source (such as his brother and household electricity). Once he runs out of electricity, his quirk is useless unless gets to absorb again.
Current appearance: why the black hair? About Kaminari, I’m not sure if his hair is dyed in some way and if so, which color is the dyed part? Is it the blond hair or the black streak? Most likely the streak but you never know. Gold is Kaminari’s eye color. That’s all there is to it.
In BNHA-verse, I imagined him as Chrome’s age. Technically, he’s older than her now: Lambo’s new birthday is the same as Kaminari (June 29) while Chrome, like the others, keep their original birthdays (hers is December 5). Despite this, he still calls her “Chrome-nee” out of habit.
He sits behind Kaminari (Lambo is Seat No. 8), so Kirishima is now Seat No. 9. He and Chrome replace Kouji and Sato in 1-A. I was originally going to put them in 1-B, but there’s too little information about them so… yeah.
Namimori Kyouya
Namimori: 並 nami “average” + 盛 mori “prime/peak”
Place of Origin: Nagano Prefecture
Class: 3-B
Hero Name: Disciplinary Hero, Hibari
Quirk: Propagation
Special Move: None he doesn’t need one
Current appearance: Relatively unchanged
Okay, okay. Since reincarnation = not always having the same surname, I came up with giving him “Namimori” as his family name. Everyone else finds it amusing, but Hibari likes it. Same name as his territory in a previous life where he terrorized the citizens and “disciplined” the unruly, what’s not to like?
As mentioned in Ryohei’s entry, Nagano’s mountains have made it relatively isolated which mirrors Hibari’s isolationist nature. Also, it’d be funny if he grows up with Ryohei all over again. As much as Hibari would more or less break into hives at socialization, Ryohei would reign him in. I mean, have you seen TYL!Ryohei and TYL!Hibari? Like, they’re such bros??
His old surname is too perfect as a hero name, I couldn’t resist recycling it. Hibari 雲雀 as a whole means “skylark”, while separately it’s 雲 “cloud” and 雀 “sparrow”. Skylarks are solitary, migratory, and territorial. Sparrows are the same (not sure if they’re territorial, though).
Similar to Ryohei, he gets to keep the property of Cloud flames, minus the flame part. According to KHR, Cloud flames involve multiplying and expanding. Not really that big of a deal when it comes to the quirk lottery, but with Hibari’s frightening combat prowess, he doesn’t even need to be reliant on an extra ability to beat people into a pulp. Even more so when you beat him down.
Talk to Hibari? He’ll bite you to death.
Fight Hibari? He’ll bite you to death.
Defeat Hibari? Unlikely, since he’ll bite you to death. But in the very miniscule chance that you do get to beat him, he’ll rise from defeat and endure all physical and mental pain out of spite to prove his superiority and assert dominance because fuck you he’s a carnivore.
Exist? He’ll definitely bite you to death, unless you’re a kid or a cute animal.
He also canonically doesn’t have a special move. Maybe it’s because he can bite you to death without resorting to any fancy skill. I dunno.
I picture him as the actual strongest student in Yuuei. He just isn’t… very friendly nor cooperative. He’s also not one for fame, but rather, for infamy. Hibari is the guy you won’t hear about in the news, but one that you’d hear about in gossips and rumors. He’s the perfect underground hero — the more violent and volatile version of Aizawa.
Since he’s such an outlier and a wild card, I don’t think many outside of Yuuei would have heard of him.
But he is a living urban legend on campus.
Kurodo Mukuro
Kurodo: 黒 kuro “black” + 道 do “path/method”
Place of Origin: Yamanashi Prefecture
Class: 3-B
Hero Name: Illusionist Hero, Rokudo
Quirk: Six Paths of Reincarnation
Special Move: Genjuu Gagaia
Current appearance: Substantially the same
Another unoriginal name variation, I know. I practically used the anagram of his surname and used different kanji (though I kept the “do” part).
As for his place of origin, there really wasn’t any deep thought put into it. I looked at a map of Japan, saw Yamanashi bordering Shizuoka, Nagano, and Saitama, and decided “hey, that’s where I’m putting the pineapple wonder duo”. In addition to that, Gran Torino’s apartment is there. It’s a rundown building and it isn’t too farfetched to infer that there are more rundown buildings in the vicinity… where Mukuro and Chrome would feel right at home.
Illusionist Hero, Rokudo is… self-explanatory. He’s an illusionist and Rokudo literally means “six paths”, like his ability (六 roku “six” + do “path/method”).
Six Paths of Reincarnation was too perfect a quirk; it covers the illusion aspect of Mist flames, too. For those who don’t know/remember, the Realm of Hell (first path) grants Mukuro the power to create real illusions capable of manifesting in the physical/real world.
Genjuu Gagaia roughly translates to “Real Illusion Beast - Corpse-Eating Crows”. It’s a pretty… graphic name and very literal in application. It’s also a perfect special move for Mukuro because illusions and violence; and Chrome didn’t use it in canon. Hard to give them a separate special move to develop when they share almost every ability.
And finally…
Kurodo Nagi
Nagi: 凪 “peaceful”
Place of Origin: Yamanashi Prefecture
Class: 1-A
Hero Name: Illusionist Hero, Chrome
Quirk: Illusion
Special Move: Cortina Nebbia
Current appearance: Substantially the same
I kept her original name, because I can.
This time, unlike in KHR, she and Mukuro are biological siblings. This is also to solve the problem of them having closely-related quirks.
I gave her the same title as Mukuro because despite learning how to be independent from her master in KHR… she still looks up to him and owes him a lot, so I think she’d want to emulate him in some way. One minor way is to have the same hero title. For her name, Chrome is too perfect of an alias. Not her real name, has sentimental value, and is an anagram of Mukuro’s name.
Her quirk is similar to Mukuro, except for the fact that she can only make illusions. She has no access to his other abilities such as human possession, which is granted by the Six Paths of Reincarnation.
For her special move, only Cortina Nebbia is the ability that Mukuro didn’t use (I might remember this wrong, though). It’s also a defensive technique, which fits the pacifistic Chrome a lot more than genocidal Mukuro.
What I didn’t mention in Mukuro’s entry has something to do with the surname. I didn’t want to change the seating arrangement of 1-A too much (which is inevitable if I’m replacing 2 canon characters with 2 from KHR). Lambo, much to my relief, was a shoe-in for Kaminari. Chrome’s was the trickier part. I thought, “what surname would keep Chrome in Sato and Kouji’s column?”, then I remembered anagrams and from Rokudo/Dokuro -> Kurodo.
Chrome is currently Seat No. 10. She sits between Uraraka and Todoroki.
For reference of the seats (alphabetical order is vertical):
Aaaand that’s all I have. Man, what a long post.

Summer Woes
Tsuna sighed in his seat, staring at his phone with a dejected face.
“Man, I died again. This boss is too hard!”
Sighing once again, he checked his character revive at the capital city of Sofya. He clicked his tounge in frustration, checking his items once more before going to the blacksmith. It seems he couldn’t defeat Roshan with his character yet, so he would train his blacksmithing skills in the meantime.
But before that, he’d need materials.
After talking to the NPC, Tsuna went out and started asking other players for extra materials, which he obtained by buying from them. He then checked his blacksmithing skill - 86% which is not that bad.
“Tsu-kun, dinner is ready!”
Tsuna nearly dropped his phone in surprise. It was already 6? Really, he’d been playing that long?
“Coming!”
He teleported to his house inside the game and logged out.
- - -
“Yo!” “Good morning, Jyuudaime!”
Tsuna smiled and greeted the two. It was the summer holidays, and his guardians were all but scattered to different places due to training Reborn suggested one time. To his surprise, however, Reborn went away saying he had something to do, leaving Tsuna with no mentor, so he took the chance (really, this is a rare chance) and immersed himself with games.
Ah, right. Before Reborn came, Tsuna was already playing online games - mmorpg’s to be exact - since he gave up trying to study and it interests him. He played numerous games before, but now he’s playing a new game called Toram Online which was made by Asobimo.
He’s not the best at games though, but he seems to always pull through the challenges, so why not?
“Tsuna, you okay?”
The young Vongola blinked and smiled sheepishly. “Sorry, just thinking about something.”
This seemed to surprise the two. Gokudera put on his determined face and asked, “Is something bothering you, tenth? I’ll take care of it!”
“No, no! It’s nothing, Gokudera, really!”
“If tenth says so!”
Just then, his cellphone blinked indicating a notification.
- Maintenance at 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM JST (Japanese Standard Time) today! - New map to be explored! New monster and boss will be released! - Main quest will be updated! - Level cap will be raised from 80 to 85! - Fixing bugs about the inventory problem. - Adding new Gacha costumes!
Tsuna can’t help but to be excited. Asobimo seemed to be putting some good updates this time! He didn’t notice his guardians peeking from behind.
“Toram Online?”
“Hiiiieeeee!” Please don’t scare me like that!
"Maa, maa, that game seems interesting.” Takeshi said, fishing out his smartphone.
“Shut up, baseball freak! Sorry about this idiot, tenth!” said his storm guardian, also getting his phone from his pocket.
“Um, what are you guys doing?”
Gokudera beamed at him.
“We’re going to play with you from now on, tenth!”
- - -
As expected, the two we’re good at the game. Gokudera seemed to really liked the games mechanics - where he could pick his own skills and try to wear many costumes. Takeshi, on the other hand, was a casual player at most; where Gokudera was busy leveling his Alchemy skill, Takeshi would go and use the Mercenary system and would sometime hire another player - or Gokuder’s. Most of the time he would sit at Rakau Plains doing nothing, but he’s always with the other two when fighting a boss or completing a hard quest.
Gokudera picked a DPS (damage per second) mage, while Takeshi picked a dual-wielding swordsman. Tsuna himself was a DPS mage, but more of like a tanking-healing one since he really doesn’t like to die (this is why Gokudera’s second character was pure healer and would use it sometimes for support).
They progressed immensely by that time, and their main character were all above level 80 by the time the last two weeks of their summer started to roll.
It wasn’t until the next update for the incoming event happened that problems started to arise.
To begin with, Tsuna doesn’t spend money for in-game purchases, since gacha doesn’t really interest him - but this turned out to be a problem within the latest expansion when a bug targeted players without single purchase from the shop and rendered their currently weapons obsolete, which in turn raises millions of questions and anger from players around the world.
Asobimo released a statement, apologizing for the inconvenience and annound a full day maintenance the next day.
It was fine, really. But Gokudera wasn’t okay with it, so he sent out a full-blown letter demanding the company to fix everything within the day, which in turn they replied with more apologies and a promise they would fix it as soon as possible. They did this three days later, adding the new event, Summer Troubles, with limited time map dedicated for monster and a boss during the event as compensation.
Two days later the event was release - Tsuna was about to cry.
The game was fixed and everything, but another problen arose. The bug was removed but it affected the new map for the event significantly, making the monsters stronger and the boss even more so.
“This is ridiculous!” Gokudera snapped when they were killed yet again. The event boss, Yselenica, was an archangel that had fallen during the Battle of Worlds - meaning the story where the world of the game was created. The boss information also stated that during his long time of being alone, Yselenica’s sadness turned into hate making the once kind angel into something sinister.
For starters, her level was 100 - the cap was still 85, so overpowering her by level is impossible. Additionally, she has an array of attacks where her magic removes every buffs/bonuses a player has - and also instantly killing the entire party upon hitting them. Also, most of her skills were AOE (area of effect), meaning almost all of her skills were wide-ranged, making it hard for tanks and melee fighter to attack; save for one skill.
This skill was a single line attack, but also one of the deadliest. It deals thousands of damage to a player and unless you’re a tank, you should be worried. That’s when another problem comes in - the boss likes to target magic casters - which were already vulnerable as they were. Tsuna’s character for one, is a pure INT meaning most of his skills were for dealing damage rather than protection like tankers does.
Takeshi, who was always acting as a tank, always die first - which is funny, since his character build isn’t really for tanking. He’s a swordsman, damn it. Takeshi’s character is just a proxy tank - which gave them another problem - they don’t have a proper tank. So one day, they’ve decided that Takeshi would make a proper tank.
Once they’ve successfully turned it to lvl 80 (with the help of exp buffing items), they came back to the new boss to challenge it again - in Nightmare mode (because Gokudera wouldn’t want to defeat it in easy mode). The animation starts, and the battle begins.
“Takeshi!”
The swordsman responded by running towards the boss, activating a skill to get it’s attention; Tsuna and Gokudera hitting it with spells in the background. Then they started counting. Bosses, specifically, have predetermined attacks - meaning their attacks were set to a certain order. But if an attack hits it with flinch, it would suddenly get randomized and then its nigh impossible to beat.
“AOE, dodge!”
They ran away from the red circle, almost hugging the edges of the map. After that they continued this for minutes, with Takeshi taking aggro of the monster and the two buffing him and healing.
Until Tsuna’s attack made the boss flinched.
“Shit!” he cursed, running away from the deadly single attack that was suddenly aimed at him. Just when we managed to get his HP down to 8%! He managed to escape, but then got hit by another surprise attack and died. “Oh, come on!” he said as he stared at his dead screen. NO, god dammit, they were going to finish this thing off!!
“Takeshi, continue holding her down, Gokudera, keep healing him. I’ll use my revive this time.”
“Got it!”
“Roger, tenth!”
Tsuna wait for another attack to finish, before reviving his character and running to the other direction. “Takeshi, take her to the other side of the map! I’m going to use my new combo!”
“What, now?!”
“It’s fine! Let’s just hope she’d die before we did!”
Takeshi laughed at this, but obeyed nonetheless. Gokudera gave Tsuna an ATK raising buff and nod at him gratefully. “Right, here I go!”
Tsuna clicked the skill button and his character released a couple of attacks, each one hitting stronger than the last - and one attack managed to hit her too hard and the boss suddenly turned to him. He released another combo this time, and screamed when an attack made a critical hit, dealing 83,674 damage - killing the boss.
“YEAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! WE DID IT! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!”
Beside him, his guardians were screaming as well. “Good job, Tsuna!”
“No, idiot, tenth is more than good! He’s amazing, the best!”
Just then, something hard hit Tsuna’s head and he screamed in pain. “Having fun, Dame-Tsuna?”
“Reborn, that hurt!”
Reborn’s aura went dark. “Oh?”
“Hieeeeee! Don’t shoot my cellphone, Reborn!!”
- - -
Ryohei was doing his EXTREME jog to Namimori when he saw the trio walking down the road. “Hey, how’s yo- AHHHHHHHHHH!!! WHAT EXTREMELY HAPPENED TO YOU GUYS?!”
Tsuna’s pale, thin face greeted him. Takeshi and Gokudera seemed to be in the same situation. A small, hollow laugh came from the young Vongola, creeping the Sun guardian.
“Reborn punished us.”
Well, he didn’t have anything to say to that.
- - - A/N: Hi, yes, I love games you see. I hoped I didn’t made this one very complex, as that would be detrimental for both of us. I hope you like thia though! The bit part about Yselenica is made up, but Toram Online is very much real and I love that game! Thank you for participating in the event! You can ask me anytime for questions or requests if you do have one! ^^
