Daniel Wayne, the younger toddler brother of Bruce Wayne and the son of Martha and Thomas Wayne had been kidnapped the night their parents were murdered.

Daniel had been snagged the moment their killer heard people headed to the alley and Bruce in his state of shock didn't realize it until it was far to late and could only scream in horror (from everything) as his baby brother is crying his name. (If you wanna make it even more heart wrenching, make it Danny's first time being able to say Bruce's name right and/or Bruce had said some mean things to Danny earlier after he accidentally broke something of Bruce's, something like 'I wish youd go away' or 'I never wanted a brother, you're such a bother!')

Bruce is being held by Alfred as some police officers are chasing down the Wayne's parents killer while some stay behind to see if they could do something.

Minutes turn to hours and as they wait, praying the police at least found Danny, Bruce is ridden with guilt. From his parents death to allowing his brother to be kidnapped.

Eventually the police return to give Alfred and Bruce the news. And it's not good.

The killer escaped and Danny was nowhere to be found.

And it would take many years before he would be found.

Confused Bruce asks what does he mean and Damian responds with

when i first designed erestor 3 years back i wasnt totally aware of his potential half-elf status, and since then ive come across some more fanon interpretations of him being haleth and caranthir's kid which i really liked!!!! so ive decided to rework him a little by combining my original lore for him into this concept 👉👈 i ended up getting carried away on whole different tangent with his backstory which ive summarised down below HAHA

tldr to expand on some key points under the cut:

born in F.A. 371 to haleth and caranthir; his parents' romance is short but passionate, and while many of the haladin are initially unsure about the nature of this union, they dont oppose it. for 4 years they live an unconventional but happy life together

haleth leaves thargelion in F.A. 375 and raises erestor with her people once they resettle. he's too young to remember much about caranthir. throughout his childhood she never tells him who his father is, but he also never really feels the need to ask.

he's captured in F.A. 460 (40 years after his mother's death) and escapes in F.A. 510. two years later, he finally finds refuge in Amon Ereb-- six years after the deaths of caranthir, celegorm and curufin in the 2nd kinslaying.

is tasked by maedhros to assist maglor with elrond and elros' education after they're taken in following the 3rd kinslaying in F.A. 538. he becomes a weird mix of a nanny/older brother/teacher figure to them, and a strange but sweet bond forms between them.

entrusted to protect elrond and elros following the break out of the war of wrath. he leads them to the Host of the Valar, where the twins are given the choice of the half-elven; to his surprise, he's afforded this choice as well, and decides to remain elven out of compassion for elrond after elros chooses mortality.

remains by elrond's side to watch over him for most of the 2nd age. during this time he resides in lindon as a healer, translator and archivist; later joins elrond in imladris, and partakes in the war of the last alliance as a combat medic.

in the 3rd age, is beset with sea-longing after what he regards to be a long and tiresome existence; he's also filled with guilt for being unable to help elrond heal celebrian’s psychological wounds, and contemplates following her back to Valinor. ultimately decides to stay back a bit longer, however, and lingers until after sauron’s defeat when the rest of the elves finally depart for the West. 

that's just a very condensed version but one day i hope to explore in some 4th age stuff where he finds out who his dad is...?! or will he?!?! who knows lol

i've been thinking about tfe!bumblebee and tfone!bumblebee and how people perceive them and now i'm like... they actually aren't that different???? like at all??? they just deal with abandonment differently

see bc they both were abandoned at some point, even though tfe bee still had a mission, he was largely in hiding and couldn't make contact with most of the autobots. he had to not get involved in anything, had to stay away from the people he loved, and in the process he became somewhat jaded, repressing most of his hiding since he doesn't think it's a big deal, he had a job to do and he did it as best as he could. he's fine don't ask. he tries to maintain his "nice guy" persona, but with the isolation he had to go through it's very obvious he can't stay that way, so he desperately clings to his positivity like his life depends on it, while at the same time displaying cynicism that's within him now

meanwhile over here in the tfone bee corner, our guy was sent to do community service no one needed to do, with no one to talk to, for god knows what (in canon he says he "did his job too well" so he fucked up way too many times, poor guy). he made himself people to talk to, and it's not like he was purposefully trying to hide himself, but we KNOW that he knows how to get out, so, potentially, he could have just fled and become a fugitive. instead, he stayed at his job because there was some hope still left in him that someone would come and release him from his "duties". anyway as soon as he finds actual people he can communicate with it all goes off the rails. unlike tfe bee, though, he doesn't hide his desperation for company, and while he is extremely traumatized, he's still expressing himself, and people know what he's going through, and they help him eventually

if anything tfone bee would be more healthy than tfe bee (and totally not just bcs i have a personal bias for tfe hahaha what are you talking about don't look at my blog.) (also one went through war already and the other didn't (yet)), he would even make him talk out some of the problems he's having... but like at the same time tfe bee would recognise tfone's own denial and would reassure him that, yes, you are loved, you are enough, even when no one listens to you. do you see the vision
