So, I got a hard copy of Tales of the Jedi (volume 2...the first collection was let's say out of my price range) and finished Naga Sadow's story...so here is my review of that!
I'd say Naga Sadow's story was okay. One thing I like about Tales of the Jedi is that it really feels like the past. All the ships and clothing look so alien to what is in the future in the gffa. Like the eyeball ship lol. I knew the lightsabers were connected to a pack before and I like that concept (I mean, of course the lightsaber would look completely different in the past). The world building is probably the best part while the story...is just okay. Naga Sadow's vie for the Sith Throne is the most interesting part. I didn't care too much about the two human main characters, Gav and Jori, who are both hyperspace explorers. Somehow (the Force) they end up finding Korriban with random coordinates. Those two were a bit...dense is all I'll say to be nice XD I was way more interested in the Sith/Empress Teta.
The art was a bit...rough. This was made in the 90s so a lot of it is probably due to the time (no digital touchups were available and it was more than likely under deadline) but my blind-ass eyes couldn't tell the difference between characters at times. I much prefer the art in the Old Republic comics.
I lol'd at Jori's trial - how the hell did she expect people to listen to her about the Sith being back and not think she was crazy XD And to go back to the place where she was wanted for theft...sigh...she's lucky the Force was on her side. Her brother wasn't much better in the intelligence department...surprise, surprise the Sith want to murder people he cares about! I still enjoyed it though, cheese and all ;)
I do wonder how Naga Sadow got a tomb on Korriban if he ended up failing at being the Lord of the Sith at the end...though knowing him he'd built it before he lost everything. He did end up dying on Yavin so Sadow's tomb really is just decoration. I like to imagine the Sith just...bricked it up for years until it was rediscovered by Exar Kun or something.
Now onto Nomi/Uliq's story! I have read a detailed summary of their story but now I'll get to read the source :)

In this scene Marka Ragnos visits Naga Sadow on Yavin 4 after his defeat in Great Hyperspace War. This is just a prelude to the big scene that I'm currently writing.
The first weeks on the planet were hard for Sadow. He realised that he had failed. He was humiliated and still looking for a new way.
On the other side Ragnos was really mad at him and got a chance to speak again.
And... this won't end well (at least for Sadow)

Sith murdered by Sith/future Sith*/ex-Sith:
Vader
Sidious
Tyranus*
Plagueis
Venamis
Tenebrous
Malak
Selene
Aleema Keto
Satal Keto*
Gav Daragon
Ludo Kressh
Naga Sadow
Tulak Hord
Simus
Sith murdered by Jedi:
Palpatine zombie/clone
Maul
Odion
Sith murdered by non-Force-users:
Ulic Qel-Droma
It's complicated:
Kylo (traded life forces with someone killed by...the Jedi?)
Naat Lare (killed by Jedi as unknowing pawns of a Sith test)
Nihilus + Sion + Traya (Exile can be either a Sith or Jedi or neither)
Jorak Uln + Mekel + Lashowe + Kel Algwinn + Shaardan + Uthar Wynn + Yuthura Ban + Dustil Onasi (Revan can choose to kill them)
Exar Kun (evil Sith ritual + Jedi-wrought forest fire = limbo situation)
Freedon Nadd (dies of old age but his ghost is murdered by a Sith)
Actually lives a long happy life without getting murdered as far as we know:
Daiman
Marka Ragnos
Ajunta Pall
Xesh (technically predates the Sith)

Inside a dark room on the Elysium striker stood in front of a table. They recently came from the planet of Khar Shian and although they didn’t enter the Citadel of Naga Sadow she did. From her backpack she drew a small dark purple drawstring bag opening it a Sith halocron opened. She used the force to close the door as the red light illuminated the room. She grinned without effort the halocron opened revealing its secrets. @striker-reckoning
Val walked through the ship she was looking for striker, it was late and she was bringing strike a late night snack. she came to the last place she could think to look, she pushed open the door and what she saw had her dropping the food “striker?!”

Baras had tasked him with spying on Ryn instead of Darth Marr. Cain knew that Baras had been eyeing Ryn to become his new apprentice ever since the chiss had landed on Korriban. Something about all of this bothered him. He knew Baras was paranoid but was he so paranoid that he viewed Ryn as a potential threat despite wanting him as an apprentice?
As such he follow Ryn as he went about completing his final test in the tomb of Naga Sadow. The first moment he could he pulled Vette aside and disabled the collar while Ryn kept watch. As much as he wanted to remove it the collar it had to remain for appearances sake while they were on Korriban. He admitted to her how he felt seeing her with the collar and what the jailer was doing to. She admitted she was actually proud that he kept his cool for once knowing how protective he has been of her in the past. He did everything he could to assist her in activating the statues. Once Ryn had claimed the saber and killed vermin they returned to Baras.
