i feel like sharing that naddpod's first campaign is a core memory for me. embedded in the foundations of a period of my life where i was discovering who i was.

to put it chronologically, naddpod's first campaign ended in April 2020: I had graduated school months earlier, leaving dear friends behind; a lockdown had only started and everything was so uncertain; and I had turned 18 literal days earlier, stuck at home.

i cried and laughed and cried over that finale, but despite it ending, i felt emboldened to take on any challenges and discover who i was gonna be.

and damn if it still doesn't hold up, even if you aren't me. I'm so happy everytime I hear about someone experiencing that uproarious cathartic finale — we've gone through it together

this may be a dimension 20 blog in name, but Bahumia holds the most special place.

i'm on the second-to-last episode of the first naddpod campaign and honestly it's making me a lot more sad than i thought it would.

i started listening to it as something for when i couldn't be watching dimension 20 or didn't have wifi, but ive really grown attached to these three chaos gremlins of characters and i don't want their story to end.

(i'm assuming the crew gets new characters when the next campaign happens? no one spoil it for me if i'm wrong though cause i want to be surprised. )

Truthfully, she was not supposed to be the one on the altar today. When her father learned that Marcy had been learning magic from Anne – Anne, the kind and gentle girl with the silver streaks in her fluffy brown hair, who had been just as much of an outcast as Marcy herself was in this village, who did not have to study in books to light fires and animate objects and could just do it naturally – he had offered Marcy alternative paths but said that Anne had to die, had to be executed, for her bad influence.

How could something so pure as Anne's magic be bad? Marcy, at the age of thirteen, does not understand.

But she had made her choice. She had made the choice in the form of stealing the generous wedding dowry her father had prepped for her, shoving the bags of coin that had been saved for her eventual nuptials into Anne's arms, and she had told Anne to flee, to escape. Marcy had assured her that she could talk her father down.

Marcy was wrong. And now Marcy is going to die and she is going to die knowing that the last time she ever saw her beloved best friend was in the form of fearful eyes tearfully leaving her behind.

anyway it was a fun if not fucking hectic and tiring time. and her husband was like i enjoy my alone time im surprised i settled down + its cool to see someone you love happy.

may go over again today but may not idk. its fun but i do also miss calling people

oh yeah went to a mall for the first time in forever, got a tarot deck that i cant tell how much we like. its kind of like base level edgy in a way that could be cringe kind of like an ed hardy t shirt

sorry to be a hater but i don't really like caldwell.. he's funny sometimes but most of the time he talks he reminds me of this girl i'm friends with who very clearly got her sense of humor and manner of speaking entirely from 2010s tumblr textposts reposted on instagram and jaiden animatics and the odd ones out guy and she's nice really but sometimes i can only take so much blatant rip offs of text posts in verbal conversations. and it's worse with caldwell because i wasn't friends with him kindergarten through second grade and also he's an animator for disney and a youtube content creator and podcaster that is a white twink from LA. this is sort of harsh i'm just bitter because i stopped listening to naddpod for like a month and now i can't get back into it and i don't like it as much anymore
