Holidays colors yes but with a twist :D

Beautiful color matching for this antique outfit, pairing a kimono with bamboo stalks over a ground of hanakatsumi (geometrical leaves and flowers pattern), with a fantastic black-based obi with a snarling hannya noh mask.

Best Friend title awarded to Ohm (again):

Okay it was very funny because they were showering together and that's the moment they decide to talk about who they love and the ambiguous relationship they both have with Mick and Phun. However, I like how there is no doubts for Ohm that he would confide to Noh if he ever have someone. It shows how he trust his friend.

Again in this episode, he told Noh that he would be here for him and he would help him no matter what.

He knew something was troubling Noh, but he never force him to reveal what is going on. Ohm knows that Noh will say it one day.

Their friendship is really nice to witness. You can see them in good time, but also in difficult time. They are ready to help when it’s needed.

Let's not forget Grace too! She wasn't here in this episode, but she was also a good friend to Noh too. Sometimes you need your friends to tell you that you can makes mistakes and that's not the end of the world.

Can we just kick her mother's ass? That woman is an abuser and I hope she gets what she deserves.

Her whole life forcing her to be perfect and become someone who is not herself. An adult woman with certain aspirations for her daughter, which are most likely a reflection of her own frustrated dreams.

I just hope they don't make her daughter forgive her in the series.

P.S.: I'm sorry for Lin's girlfriend, it has to be tought to be in this situation. Watching someone beg your partner to get back together in front of you is a pretty fucked up situation.

I also feel sorry for Phun, because he is just like Aim, a person trapped in what his father wants from him and although he loves Aim (just the same way Aim loves him, platonically), he is not in love with her. Somehow, they are each other's beard (even if they aren't aware of that).

I am also sorry that Lee and Noh have to endure the consequences (and all the drama) caused by adults who don't allow their children to simply be whatever they are without any expectation, just be happy.

Mochizuki 1870s

The Noh play Mochizuki (望月) is an action-packed tale of murder and retribution. Tomofusa joins forces with the wife and young son of his slain former master to take their revenge on his killer, Mochizuki. Disguised as a lion dancer Tomofusa expertly performs the celebratory dance, as the tension builds to a bloody climax.

Shakkyo - Noh

Paul Binnie - 1997

This is the only print of Noh in this group of Kabuki woodblocks and is done in a "Sosaku-hanga" or creative print style identified by "drawing" straight onto the block with a chisel.

"Shakkyo" means a stone bridge, and refers to the bridge to heaven guarded by Shishi, or mythological, lions.

The mask, shishiguchi, is gilded while the wig is red and made of yaks' hair.

Noh is so extra! I forgot how teenagers can be so very dramatic. You never get a dull moment with him.
