I've been drawing this new OC of mine lately. I don't have a name for her yet, but I think I'm close to a design I like.

While I'm not sure what I'll do with her, or how her story ends, but I've enjoyed drawing her.

EDIT 10/30/2023 - with help from my friends, I picked a name. Her name is Maite.

OK SO IDEA:

Humanity have officially almost become extinct, there is very few people left as most either were rich enough to leave the planet or died fighting for supplies of from sickness. Giants now walk the earth and usually loot old cities for tech that they tear apart and repurpose. These giants have been around for years, but they were in hibernation underground. This guy is Fenrir, one of the many giants wandering the planet, and he is known for being brutal and aggressive. He’s bigger than most giants and just terrifying.

He is looking for a good spot to start when he hooks his finger in through the window of an old apartment block and just pulls the window off to look inside only to come face to face with a species he thought was long, long dead. He’s suddenly feeling horrified because if he was rougher, the rubble could have crushed them. For some reason, the brutal giant feels nothing but worry and empathy for the tiny shaking form cowering in the building in front of him.

Moon God Lust!

(TW—Lore includes S.A! This was heavily inspired by the story of Medusa!)

It is said every total solar eclipse, is the sign of a new born God.

Lust was a loyal follower of the Lunar entity, the moon. He did everything as inscription told him to, worshipped every night and made offerings before rest.

And in return, he was rewarded for his loyalty. He'd always been blessed with pleasant dreams, finding gifts on his doorstep, to have the best harvest. The moon favoured him as the head, the most devoted worshipper.

Lust, had other traits besides his undying loyalty. He seemed keen on romance, he was beautiful, he sparked jealously in the eyes of others.

But Dispite this, he swore never to tie himself down. He'd always communicate with partners he did not seek marriage or strong bonds, and his only true commitment with lay within the celestial being.

One day, the jealousy of one went too far. A fellow moon worshiper, a bigger and stronger person than him, a woman faster than him, was blinded by her jealousy. Clearly, she should've been honoured as most devoted in her eyes, she worked twice as hard as that skeleton!

The horrid woman used her physical advantages over him one day, forcing herself apon him during worship, staining the sacred grounds with her violence.

She was sure the moon would punish Lust for it. She'd claim she were the victim, and she'd be the favourite. Not considering the sheer consequences this would have on Lust, how broken he felt for it happening.

But instead, the entity had watched, disappointed in her. The moon began to rise at day, confusion spread within the common folk. As the moon came to a halt, right in front of the sun. Making only a ring of light appear in the sky.

Lust laid crying in the place of worship, as he heard a whisper.

Child, loyal to me. I burden you not with your mortality any longer. Came the voice of the moon, whispy and feminine in nature.

And Lust was picked up from the ground, tears crystallize into delicate thread that decorated the robe he now adorned, as his skeleton shifted to a purple, and was gifted a mark of the moon.

As the first, total solar eclipse happened. Was born a God, Lunarst, the personification of the moon.

And, the woman? Oh, she was dealt with. As the moon did not let her rest from that day forward. Owls and raccoons and bears sent after her at night, water tainted if she were to touch it, and her injuries no longer healed.

It's said now, Lunarst is part of the three in the celestial court. Along with the God of Planet, and Sun. To this day, even as a godly being, he grieves over what happened. Lives as a sign of survival, and inspires hope into his own worshippers.

(I love having weird obsessions over media like for example Dune because i come with a lot of inspiration for stuff like this. Would you like for me to expland on the fictional world of this character and find out more about this little work in progress thing i’ve been working on for the past few days that certainly needs heavy brainstorming??)

🏺Adapted from babylonian mythology, Nibiru is a real mythological story and planet that i’ve slightly changed for the sake of this fictional world. It’s now called Nybir’U.

🏺The planet (as adapted by me) now has a few well known cities and capitals, Anu’erit is Bashir’s hometown. Inspired by babylonian god of the sky Anu + erut (wells) as in Beirut. From Ancient Phoenician word. The planet has a couple of different kinds of political parties that rule different places on it, but it’s for the most part “democratic”. And by that i mean it’s democracy is heavily flawed and corrupted which is why a war started.

🏺Bashir means “bringer of good news” and Al Tayyaar means “pilot”, “flyer”, (father of the pilots)

🏺Character wise and personality wise he was inspired by Stilgar from Dune, but the pilot thing was my twist. I took inspiration from Titanfall pilots and Valkyrie from Apex legends for the armour and gear.

[Terpsichore] / otome game project

OC-fying greek mythology for random burst of thinking about otome game project I had ages ago-

one of my ambitious projects from 2017 ish? 2018? when I wanted to create my own otome game based on greek mythology (you see i was studying for my ancient greece course exam and got sidetracked, bcs there are too many vases to learn about) but then idea kinda died because I didnt get far in actual script. My main ‘player’ character was muse Terpsichore, she was cute as heck. Basic idea for the plot was that the ancient forces of chaos were awakening and causing problems, and whole Olympus was was shaken by a murder. the MC got involved as one of possible suspects. A mysterious flower tattoo started growing on her back. Delphi oracle made a prophecy. To clear her name of the suspicion she had to find the real murderer. I was going to make prologue + 3 chapters of general plot. One focused on city of troy + Ares; The underwold + Hades; Poseidon + aegea. i was messing up with so many timelines.
