Something I found that I haven't really seen other ppl talk about!

So, I was wondering what the princess tutus casts heights were, and I stumbled across a pretty old page that has some translated info/character sheets from the (no longer available) princess tutu website!! Here they are!!

Translation for Americans !!

Duck - 4'11, 84 lbs

Mytho - 5'3, 99 lbs

MYTHO FROM PRINCESS TUTU

Justification: “Mytho's whole deal is that he is the protagonist of a tragedy; his original name was Prince Siegfried, and the deal of his character was that he was 'the prince who loved everyone', with unending, equal love for all. However, the story remained unfinished, with Siegfried and the antagonist, the Raven, stuck in an eternal fight. To end the stalemate, Siegfried shattered his heart to seal the Raven, losing all his emotions. Mytho's character arc throughout the show is about regaining those emotions, and the way his experiences have changed him from Prince Siegfried, deforming his role as the ideal fairytale prince. His character arc culminates with him (romantically) loving Rue, another of the show's protagonist, above everyone, thus subverting his role as 'the prince who loves all'. In context this arc is pretty well done imo and in general Princess Tutu is good at valuing platonic and romantic love equally (as well as not distinguishing between them at all) BUT! Aromanticism could've strengthened his arc so much; subverting the idea of 'the prince who loves all' by having him love no-one, a loveless aromantic, would've been such an incredibly interesting direction to take his character, especially since midway through the show he literally has his emotion of love corrupted, something he deals with for the entire second half. Giving him a complex relationship with 'love' as a concept is a natural progression of his character and aromanticism a natural extension of this.”
