I got a new phone which was cool and all but the data from my old phone didn’t transfer to my new phone, so I lost my obey me, twisted wonderland, Mystic messenger, court of darkness, the arcana and more progress. Like idc if I’m being dramatic �� but I put my whole non existed DICK into playin those games and get all the good shit just for it all to go to waste. WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS FOR US

An: an (extremely) last minute entry for a writing contest im in for @mysticmessengerenglish enjoy! (Sorry if it flows weird it’s been a long time since I’ve written dialogue and didn’t have time to proof read)

Tomorrow would be the day I had been waiting for. The day we had been waiting for. Tomorrow i would finally tie the not with the love of my life. I was so excited i could barely sleep. Suddenly there was a knock at the door of my hotel suit.

“Come in,” I called out quietly as to not disturb the neighbors at such a late hour.

In came my beautiful fiance Jahee Kang. Her caramel eyes were warm as always despite only being illuminated by the moonlight, and her chocolate hair was tied up in a cute little ponytail. She wore a simple sill night gown that made her look like a goddess.

“What are you doing here love you know they say it’s bad luck for lovers to see each other before their wedding day,” I tease.

She raises her hand to her mouth and let’s out a quiet giggle.

“I know my love, but i just couldn’t sleep without you especially with wedding jitters,”

“I know the feeling,”

The two of us gaze into each other’s eyes lovingly for a moment before i speak up again.

“Why don’t we talk until we get tired won’t to go to sleep. I won’t tell I saw you if you wont,”

She let’s out another adorable chuckle,

“Alright sounds like a plan,” she replies as she sits next to me on the bed.

“So what’s the first thing you want to do once we’re finally married,” I ask.

“Well of course i want to spend our honeymoon enjoying your company and enjoying the view from the balcony of our suite in paris”.

I hum in acknowledgment “that sounds lovely”.

“What about you,”

“Me? Well i want to do that thing they do in the movies where i bridal carry you past the threshold of our new home,”

“Waking up to each other every morning, cooking you breakfast in bed.”

“Opening that cafe you’ve always dreamed of.”

“Rainy nights cozying up to each other in front of the fire.”

“Date nights on the roof.”

“Food fights when cooking dinner.”

The two of us laugh at our fantasies, seeming to get more riled up instead of winding down.

“What about a kid?” I ask cautiously looking to her face for a response.

“A kid?”

“Yeah, I know we’ve talked about it, but I would really like to raise a kid with you Jahee,”

She sits in silence for a few minutes and i think I’ve overstepped and am about to call it a night, but she cuts off my thoughts with a smile.

“I think a kid would be wonderful,” she smiles.

“Would we have our own or adopt,” she asks

“I’m not sure I guess that’s something to think about later,” i reply

“Think of all the cute outfits we could have them wear.”

“And decorating their room.”

“Reading them bedtime stories.”

“Playing pretend with them.”

“The first day of school.”

“We would be right there for them to make sure they aren’t scared,” I say taking her hand.

We look into each other’s eyes and just sit there with our fantasies of the future. No matter what we ended up doing: where we lived, where we worked, whether or not we had a kid even, we knew that as long as we had each other every moment of our new lives would the most magical moment ever. The ups and the downs.

So when my wonderful Jahee walked down the isle the next day in her beautiful beige wedding gown, lace veil, and bouquet of roses surrounded by all our friends I knew the next chapter of our lives would be my favorite of the whole story.

The two lovers sealed their beautiful wedding vows with a kiss and lived happily ever after.

Ten Under-Recognized Jirai Kei Characters!

Ive been meaning to make a post on some jirai kei characters that i think are underappreciated by the overseas landmine community! Mostly i think its bc they don't wear girly kei, cybercore, or other fashions associated with us on SNS, and bc their media came out before 2020. So ive compiled a list and an explanation for why i think they're jirai! I have another list for pien kei characters who arent jirai in my opinion too. If u have any characters u think the western jirai comm sleeps on, comment/reblog and tell me who & why!

1. Celestia Ludenberg

Celestia (Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc) has screamed landmine to me for like, ever! She's wrapped up in her appearance and at first glance makes the effort to come off as regal and formal. But she frequently lets that disguise slip and shows her sadistic side at the slightest inconvenience, threatening violence and screaming in peoples faces. She's got both a superiority complex AND inferiority complex, and has an unhealthy obsession with gambling, her super high school level talent.

2. Nijimin Anazawa

Nijimin (Mahou Shoujo Site) is super popular in the japanese jirai comm, and its easy to see why. She's easily lovestruck and a borderline yandere (dependent type), murderous and hellbent on revenge, and her magical power literally revolves around manipulating others. She's a beloved idol and a symbol of cuteness, but she's a murderous magical girl? How much more jirai can you get!

3. Mayoi Ayase

Mayoi (Ensemble Stars) is a very interesting character! From his obsession with the occult to his self depreciating behavior to his obsessive and stalkerish tendencies, he's an overall offputting yet charming guy. As an idol, he has fans who have a totally different image of him than the creep (affectionate) he can be at times behind the scenes. Also, not to stereotype, but his favorite sanrio character is kuromi, whos super popular within jirai.

4. Yuri

Yuri (Dokidoki Literature Club) being a landmine seems a little self-explanatory to me. She's a yandere character who's probably the most unassuming of the cast at first. She's shy, smart, kind... and a self-harming yandere with a knife fetish who will literally kill herself if you get involved romantically or reject her.

5. Yoosung

Wow, when's the last time I thought about Mystic Messanger? No idea, but Yoosung feels pretty jirai kei to me in retrospect. In the beginning of the game, hes the adorkable self-conscious junior with an unhealthy online addiction. But, by the end, he's a self-harming yandere who refuses to let the player character go, and is willing to do whatever it takes to secure a happily ever after.

6. Kusokawa-chan

While I have an immeasurable hatred for her creator, Kusokawa-chan (Menhera-chan spin-off 4komas) is a comfort character of mine... for some reason. With a name that means "kawaii trash", her personality is probably predictable. She's human trash, a sadistic asshole with no respect for others who will insult and berate you at the drop of a hat, and turn on a dime on her fans. She tries to cover it up by putting on an exaggerated innocent act and kawaii-fying herself and her life, but she just cant stop herself from exploding on others with no remorse.

7. Azusa Mukami

Admittedly, everything I know about Diabolik Lovers is through its fandom as I've yet to cave and buy the games. But from what little I know, Azusa seems pretty jirai. He seems innocent, fragile even- but has the typical amount of yandere tendencies for the series. He has a self harm addiction, and if you peruse his route you're in for a toxic time.

8. Satou Matsuzaka

This might be cheating because she's so popular on yandere tumblr, but Satou Matsuzaka (Happy Sugar Life) is ultra jirai kei. It's no wonder she's such a popular choice of pfp on japanese jiraitwt! She's obsessed with living out a fantasy saccarine-sweet life with the object of her desire, and given her full-blown yandere nature and her lolicon status, its no doubt shes a toxic partner. She's beloved at her school and workplace for her seemingly sweet nature and cute looks, but her kindness is only for the purposes of manipulation.

9. Kosame Amagai

Again, I'm no expert on Diabolik Lovers! But based on what my friends on yandereblr tell me, this guy is definately a jirai danshi. He's a lover of all things cute, who uses his cute shota-like appearance and polite manner of speech to lure others in. In reality, hes an abusive partner in his route, and takes his anger out on others verbally. He's willing to cry, scream, and threaten over the smallest of transgressions. Of course, he's also a yandere as per series standard.

10. Momonga

Okay so this is only half-serious, but there's a reason Momonga (Chiikawa) is so beloved by jirai girls and often depicted fitting the visual jirai stereotype in fanart. She's ultra cute! But she uses her appearance and acting vulnerable and innocent to try to get away with shithead behavior. She's loud, erratic, and self-obsessed, and often cries when she doesn't get her way. She's obviously the worlds cutest little manipulator, and she knows it.

I've called Alias a "construct" before (which is correct), but to be more specific she's more like... an advanced human-sized homunculus

This is the exerpt about homunculi from the 5e Monster Manual:

Shaping a mixture of clay, ash, mandrake root, and blood, one can channel rare ritual magic to create a faithful, squirrel-sized companion.

The Monster Manual doesn't explicitly mention it, but homunculi are specifically made with the blood of whoever their master is. The Dark Urge was canonically created with Bhaal's blood, as well as some indeterminate parts of his mortal avatar's corpse (rather than clay, like a typical homunculus). In Alias's case, this detail is especially important because it is one of the factors in why Bhaal can control her in the first place (as a wizard or artificer would control a homunculus).

A homunculus is a construct that acts as an extension of its creator, with the two sharing thoughts, senses, and language through a mystical bond. A master can only have one homunculus at a time (attempts to create another always fail), and when its master dies, the homunculus also dies.

A homunculus and their master are of one mind—the homunuclus only lives to serve their master and has no free will or desires of its own. Everything the homunculus knows, the master knows. This was Bhaal's intent for Alias (but something went wrong, evidently, and now Alias has thoughts of her own). Moreover, Alias can never truly die because Bhaal can never truly die by merit of being a deity (even when he was "dead" he was still hanging out in the Astral Plane, just unable to assume an avatar in the material).

Shared Mind. A homunculus knows everything its master knows, including all the languages the creator can speak and read. Likewise, everything the construct senses is known to its master, even over great distances, provided both are on the same plane. Functioning as a spy, a scout, or a messanger, a homunculus is an invaluable servant for a spellcaster engrossed in secret experimentation or adventuring.

A master can only have one homunculus at a time (attempts to create another always fail). Why would Bhaal continue to invest in Alias after his initial plan failed, even after Alias defies him over and over again? Because Bhaal has no other options. He invested a ridiculous amount of resources and time into the creation of this "perfect assassin" and loyal servant of his, and (like the rest of his weird plans) it blew up in his face. He can't even try again because Alias would need to be dead for him to do that, and his ego is so large that he'd rather do everything in his power to keep her under his control rather than just cut his losses and admit defeat (...at least until the end of the game). Sunk cost fallacy baby

It's far more complicated than this, especially with how it relates to all the other Bhaalspawn and the events of the games (still haven't actually decided what I think Alias's role was meant to be in his resurrection or what was supposed to happen afterward), but I just wanted to explain exactly why I define Alias as a "construct" rather than something else (like a titan or a quasideity similar to an aasimar)
