You have to remember he’s not working like hard-core jobs or like an office job he’s working at like a gas station or a deli.  And no major changes only Mom and pop shops or like family own gas stations preferably Night Shift and it’s never for long duration of time maybe for a couple weeks no radar no résumé justified. He probably fake being an owner like distant cousin for the job and I mean for the week there he does the bare minimum for money but once he quit, he definitely empties the register and takes like all the ham with him.

My head canon is that Tim takes half of his check kind of was like subsidy for rent whatever food money and also if Toby has the complete check, he’ll probably spend it on something stupid like a giant inflatable gorilla, so he takes majority of his checks, but leaves enough money for weed and like snacks.

I think Toby has a weird track record with money when he was a kid. He probably never dealt with it even with the proxies they occasionally treat him like a kid even though he’s a grown ass man I definitely think only Tim and Brian would do that any other proxies in the vicinity treat him like a man. Also, I think because he was never socialized as a kid. He’s just kinda awkward in front of the other proxies which some may deem asnonchalant, but it’s probably just autism.
