Welcome to my Haunted Mansion Sideblog. I’ve always adored this ride since I was went on it at 7 or 8 years old but I recently just became extremely hyperfixated on its lore and history. So I decided to make an entire sideblog just to rant about this new fixation.

I enjoy drawing as you can probably tell from scrolling on my blog and will post fanart as frequently as I can, as well as details about my personal headcanons and interpretations of the characters and the backstory I have come up with for the mansion in my head. Seriously, I have an entire saga separated into different arcs which I’m still developing, so I’ll post about the details as I sort them out. My personal iteration of the backstory does take some inpiration from the different adaptations and scrapped storylines, but theres also plenty of elements that are more original or take inspiration from something else.

My favorite character in the entire franchise is Sally Slater/the Tightrope Girl (tho I probably don’t need to mention that cause I somehow manage to bring her up in every post I make here). But I love many of the characters ofc! Close seconds go to Constance Hatchaway, Melanie Ravenswood, Master Gracey, among others iconic happy haunts! Since its the closest one to me, I frequent the Florida mansion the most, but I have been to the California mansion and Phantom manor once each. Had a great time in both.

Feel free to send me asks about anything HM related, or by all means chat me up id you just wanna discuss and talk. Its always fun to discuss different interpretations of the story amongst each other. The fact that theres so much room for interpretation in this fandom allows people to get very creative with how they interpret the story and its characters, its so much fun!

I’m obsessed with them. Kimiko is a vampire now — because I said so. A monster cursed to never be loved, and a bride who’s only ever known fear and heartbreak. I love them 🤍🤍🤍 Also Melanie needs a loving and overprotective monster girl-boss in her life who literally worships her. She deserves that.
