Avoiding Him - Chris Evans

Summary: Chris finally learn the truth why you haven’t been around him

Warnings: Angst, Mostly Fluff

Author note: Enjoy reading :) I know the summary horrible lol I’m not good with summary

You and Chris have been dating for four months. Dating him was fun, but also hard because sometimes he does work a lot or he rather hangs with his friends sometimes.

You were at the cafe studying while eating pineapple pizza since you haven’t eaten any breakfast. You were still studying when you heard laughing loudly from somewhere. You peek to notice Chris and Ana walking in the cafe together. You had to admit they did look like they have awesome chemistry together.

You weren’t going to pay them any mind at all instead you just continue to study eating your pizza when someone said something that made you look at them directly.

“Well, someone alive huh.” You notice Chris was sitting across from you.

“Hi Chris.” Was all you said at the moment.

“That’s it? That’s all I get? Baby, I haven’t seen you in three weeks.” He started reaching across the table to touch your hand. “You haven’t been answering my calls or texts at all what so ever.”

You swallow what was left of the pizza in your mouth before answering him. “I have been busy.” You were telling him a little half lied but not purpose almost.

“Y/N talk to me. Did I do anything wrong? If I pushed too hard that week I’m sorry.” His eyes soften staring at you still. He was also concerned about you. He didn’t want to seem like you were avoiding him.

“Look, I have to go.” You gather your stuff and left out the door after you threw the pizza box in the garbage.

You kept walking until Chris stop you from going anywhere having his hand grip your arm turning you right in front of him. “Wait, damn it. Talk to me.” His hand trail down your arm and he just held your hand staring deeply into your eyes.

Y/N sighed, looking down at her shoes instead of Chris. “It’s just you and Ana alright.” He continues to stare at you, waiting to hear more about what you have to say. “I’m not avoiding you. It’s just you and Ana seem so close and put wonderfully together that you guys look so into each other and awesome chemistry.” You felt like you were rambling on so you stop talking.

“Y/N.” Chris gently let his other finger lift up your chin to look at him. “What are you talking about sweetheart?” He paused, letting his right hand caress the side of your face near your cheeks. “Ana just a friend that’s all.”

You stare up at him, about to open your mouth to say something but you closed it.

“That’s why you have been avoiding me. Y/N I will never hurt you. You are the one for me. There’s nothing to be jealous of.” Chris leans in and pressed a kiss against your forehead, then your nose making you giggle a bit.

“Ana is a good friend, but you are my everything.” He said it so smoothly and gently.

You nod, listening to him. Chris leans in a little more and his lips were on yours. You kissed him back almost feeling embarrassed in a way.

“I love you buttercup.” He mutters against your lips. He loves calling you by the nickname he gave you.

You smile into the kiss and kiss him one more time while he pecks your lips twice before pulling away from you.

“Come on, let’s go get some ice cream.” Chris squeezes your hand holding it with his while walking with you to his car.

I just finished "Beach Read" by Emily Henry. I'm not a big romance book girlie, but I thought I would give it a try. But... every time Gus was described I could only envision Justin Baldoni. Maybe because my for you page on Tiktok was full of video's of the It Ends With Us movie drama. So yeah, that is what I wanted to share. (Loved the book by the way, especially the enemies part of the enemies to lovers trope)

I just saw Bullet Train for the second time. And yes the second time I went so that I could have another great look at Aaron Taylor-Johnson's Tangerine. But when Lemon is assigning a Thomas the Tank to Logan Lerman's character he gives him Percy. Uhm... Percy Jackson anyone? Did they do that on purpose or was it just a coincidence. I need to know!
