Going to do a Nevermoor series reread in June + July + August ? if anyone else also wants to do a reread around that time, could be fun to have more of the fandom prepping for Silverborn

Did initially make a roadmap plan to split the books up into weeks on top of already being months, so that people could focus on specific parts and discuss each week….. but between the fact that I messed it up the first time, Silverborn kept getting delayed as I planned it, and I’m actually really bad at keeping to stuff like that (looking at you, Silverborn Countdown Challenge…) I’m deciding to just go for it at whatever pace happens.

Something I've been thinking about for the last while (watching Ginny and Georgia, Julie and the Phantoms, now Heartstopper), is that all of these versions of being a teen are normal for SOMEONE (I can't speak to the very explicit "teen" media as that was neither my experience nor do I consume that content). I'm glad there's a conversation happening about the lack of sex (at present) in Heartstopper but the few takes I see are heavily weighted one way or the other. Not every 15/16 year old is having sex. Or even thinking about sex. And not every 15/16 year old is abstaining either. Even within friend groups, there is a huge disparity.

The thing I LOVE about Heartstopper is how it's communicated and talked about. The way they check in with each other. The way they respect unspoken cues, even when they don't match up with words said. The way that they're perfectly comfortable being awkward and uncomfortable.

what episodes do you rewatch the most + which do you always skip

ooh i rewatch pretty much all the classics with sam being hurt because i am a cliche samguy 😔 -> 02x16 (not necessarily hurt sam but who would i be without mentioning roadkill), 02x21, 04x04, 05x22, 07x02 (this episode SO much <33), 09x11 (sastiel rights godbless), etc. (these off the top of my head)

scared to say which ones i skip but. i do tend to skip 04x14. it's a great episode all things considered but i think that's one that the widespread fandom has kind of ruined for me & i don't really enjoy it as much as i did the first time i watched it :/ tbh 15x10 - it's fun in some ways but the tap dance is just. idk how i feel abt it. 07x13 unfortunately - i feel bad including a s7 episode but another one that has kind of been ruined by the fandom (i cannot even pretend to solidly care abt emma i'm sorry)

And I am back with a new chapter of CI bk 1! In this chapter, tensions are rising and the herd gets caught in the thick of it. Diego and Peaches' uncle/niece relationship is expanded upon more (so fluffy!), whilst, after the events of Tiger's Heart, Manny finds Diego in more danger than before... what will he do about it?
