Note
I saw one of your stories and I got immediately interested by one of them, then I had an idea more like a head Canon maybe-
So you and Solomon are making a potion for class one of the brothers came into the classroom and a big explosion happened one of you and the brothers didn't brace for impact and then suddenly your future child is there I just want to see everybody's reaction or maybe what will they do in that situation (sorry it's a bit weird but yeah that's all I came up with in my head) ^^"
henlo!!! So you sent in this ask almost 3 years ago (may 20th 2021) I'm so so so sorry i didn't reply sooner, you're probably over this by now 😅 but i felt inspired to write it today so here we go đŸ«¶
🌾Meeting your future kid with him🌾
GN MC
Okay so this time Solomon has some homework to do... sending this kiddo back without messing with the future is gonna take time. Until then you must take care of them! You are the parent afterall!!
Lucifer: 4 months old
Not gonna lie it took him the longest to realize it's YOUR baby WITH him! In his defense, babies can look a bit weird. The baby definitely has your mouth, but his eyes and hairline. He didn't see many infant in his life so this is all new! You can literally see his heart melt when the little baby smiles at him! Shares his part with pride, changes diapers, carries the baby around....just take over when the baby is fussy.
MC I can't wait to meet the baby again... I miss them already, isn't that funny?
Mammon: 3yrs old
Your toddler immediately recognized you and Mammon. You and him looked at each other with an awkward stare, his face is as red as it can be- you are definitely not ready for kids!!! The fact that around 3 years old kids looove disobeying on purpose doesn't help. Mammon gets the hang of it though, he looves his little troublemaker! They could play all day long.
I wanna see ya grow up little man- I looove being your dad!
Levi: 8yrs old
Again, the kis recognizes you and him. Right now he keeps telling you he isn't ready for kids and might never be; same as you!! So how did this happen??? Do you must have one in the future??? Thankfully with an 8yrs old you can already have a conversation, play games with, etc so by the time it's over he grows very fond of them.
MC... I think I have changed my mind- having a kid is a lot like having a small best friend!
Satan: 16yrs
Ah. Your child is as upset as any 16 yr old would be in this case, leaving you and Satan no time to think about the fact you made this person. He does his absolute best to stay calm and see things from the kid's POV, but man is it difficult when your teen keeps lying about important stuff, escapes the house as soon as you lower your guard, fights with anyone over and over who doesn't do as they want despite being so so so sensitive... it is tiring.
I wish I could see what they were like as a little kid... why did I think teens were easy?!
Asmo: 13 yrs
Okay he is very quick at recognizing his own kid; he has YOUR and HIS face memorized. Starts sobbing when he realizes what this means; you are going to be parents!! The thought of loving someone sooo much just sends him over the edge. He buys everyone matching clothes, plans so many vacations you are rarely at home, surprisingly good at answering questions your little one has. (Very comforting, builds their confidence as much as he can!!)
MC, how do I look as a parent? You still love me?
Beel: 1 yr old
Okay, it was obvious the baby is a perfect mix of you two; his eyes are definitely yours though! Beel finds this job to be super important so he spends almost all day with the baby. They play peek-a-boo, he helps your kid to learn to walk and eat with hands, carries them on his shoulder when they get tired. Honestly he doesn't want to let them go back.
MC... I think we should have at least 3 kids!"
Belphie: 6yrs
Okay, he never would've thought he'd have a kid with you; first, you are dating someone else right now and second, he doesn't really like kids. So this one's gonna be complicated. His face turns red though as he has always liked you but you made it clear he is not really your type. Co-parenting brought you much closer; you could see how calm he can stay when he wants to, and how smart he actually is especially when the 6 years old doesn't stop with their questions. How it continues after the kid is back in the future is up to you babe!

ok since people r very into my chris fic i shall share some of my random behind the scenes thoughts while writing it:
adriana has literally been waiting her entire life for her obviously gay older brother who joined the army to avoid his wife and then moved to los angeles to be a sexy firefighter to COME OUT ALREADY and by the time we meet her in this fic she is like Vibrating with the need to be like EDDIE IS GAYYYYYYY ARE YOU PEOPLE BLIND??? which is why it takes like absolutely zero prodding from chris for her to spill all of eddie's business. i think when eddie was little he was a very obviously gay little boy and as he grew up he learned how to Be Normal but adriana never forgot and she's like deeply sad about it.
chris is So fucking miserable at his grandparents' house he misses video games so bad. i couldn't find a way to really incorporate this without it feeling like a cheap "look he's a TEEN BOY" thing but yeah the second he gets back home he is slamming that headset on and gaming until eddie tells him he has to take a break or he'll burn his eyes out of his sockets.
there are a Lot of songs on buck and eddie's joint depression playlist that i listed and then cut for practicality's sake but if there's any like interest in that i could maybe put together + link the full playlist for y'all?
buck's "maddie" playlist is entirely music he listened to growing up bc it makes him think of her. as a younger sibling my music taste from birth to like. age fifteen ish. was just wholly whatever my older sister listened to and i think buck is the same way. i don't think buck necessarily listens to this playlist on his own very often but if he's hanging out with maddie and/or babysitting jee-yun he'll put it on because it makes him happy to enjoy some 90s/00s nostalgia with his best girls. sometimes he'll play it in the car when he's driving chris somewhere because he wants to carry forward some of those good memories he has with maddie with chris.
buck and eddie's texts were written in order to coincide with each other! eddie texts more frequently than buck but i think if you pay attention you can sometimes tell which days buck Also sent chris a text bc they match. some of them were sent specifically in the wake of very emotionally taxing shifts where they both wanted so badly to call chris and beg him to come home but they knew that wouldn't go well and they didn't want to make chris feel guilty so they tried to play it cool.
speaking of buck and eddie: i don't think that eddie's conversation with chris is necessarily the First step in eddie realizing he's gay or moving toward something romantic with buck. keep in mind that chris has been gone for at least two weeks by the time he talks to either of them, and buck and eddie spend the vast majority of their time together. this fic is restricted to chris' pov, and he has no way of knowing whether, say, buck and tommy broke up, or whether his dad has been thinking about some things differently since he's been gone. buck and eddie Also have to spend twelve hours in a car together just the two of them between the end of the fic and their reunion with chris. this is not me saying that buck and tommy DID break up or that buddie got together while chris was away (i don't actually have a solid "canon" for where they're at), just that i intentionally left space for a wide range of possibilities due to chris' limited knowledge of what's going on with them!!
i kinda intentionally did not delve too deeply into the psychology of the diaz parents here because i think their behavior is a bit inscrutable to chris. the vast majority of his memories of them are from when he was really little, and therefore i think he doesn't actually know them very well as people. he knows that there's some tension between them and eddie, but prior to this fic he never really bothered to question Why. all he knows is that his grandparents will probably come and get him if he calls, and that it'll hurt his dad's feelings, and in the immediate aftermath of the kim debacle that's all he cares about. once he's in el paso, he starts noticing some things that make him a bit uncomfortable, but he never does determine for sure what their motivations and opinions are about this whole situation, whether they're treating him a certain way bc he's the grandkid or bc of his cerebral palsy, and whether their treatment of eddie really does stem from homophobia or not. at the end of the day he's thirteen years old and i wanted to leave his grandparents' True Selves as a bit of a mystery because 1. i don't think They necessarily know why they do what they do and 2. i don't think there's any one answer that would be satisfying.
chris literally had zero intention of saying anything to eddie about the Gay Thing he just is very much thirteen years old and emotional and he fundamentally Trusts his father to never like. lash out at him for saying something like that. so he doesn't try too hard to hold it back and impulsively says Hey Dad Are You Gay Maybe because he's never gone so long without talking to his dad before and he's just bursting with thoughts and feelings. he's not even trying to do a buddie matchmaking thing it's just that the easiest way to make his argument is to be like (points at buck).

Neymar finds out that his teenage daughter is dating Ethan Mbappé and was mad that she didn't tell him.
caught ! | neymar x teen! fem! reader!
warnings; ?? protective neymar , like a curse word
note; had to add bruna đŸ«¶ and my requests are closed!!!! i’m not taking any requests atm!!!! also not proof read so sorry if it’s badđŸ˜©đŸ˜©
masterlist !
Tumblr media
“Oi [hey] , where are you two going?” Neymar questions when he sees you and Bruna all dressed up. You had landed in Paris the day before after spending a few weeks in Brazil. The only thing on your mind was seeing your boyfriend, the boyfriend that your father had no idea of.
Bruna was the only one who knew. You were both close and became even closer after recent news. She also knew how protective Neymar was over you and decided that it wasn’t her place to tell him.
She was going with you to watch Ethan’s game which was when your father caught you both.
“Oh, just a girls trip, right, Bruna?” You say as you look up at her with an expression that screamed ‘play along’
“Oh, yeah!” Bruna exclaims, a smile appearing on her lips. “Just having a girls day. It’s been a while since we had one. We’ll be back in a few hours.”
Neymar raises his eyebrow as he slowly nods in reply. “Well, have fun and send lots of pictures.” He says with a smile before kissing Bruna and kissing your forehead.
You both quickly said goodbye before making your way out of your home. You and Bruna share a look that screamed ‘we have to be careful’.
Thankfully, you and Bruna were already close and had lots of pictures together on your phone that you can send to your father. You both assumed you were safe while you cheered on for your boyfriend.
Ethan was phenomenal. He did an amazing assist and even more amazing goal. You couldn’t have felt more proud of your boyfriend. After the game, you took many photos with Ethan, Kylian, Bruna, and even his parents.
Bruna had taken an adorable picture of you two. You were standing on your tiptoes and hugging Ethan while placing a kiss on his cheek. She also took another picture of the two of you actually kissing.
You and Bruna kept gushing about the photo as you both made your way back home. You had taken her phone to send yourself the pictures when something goes incredibly wrong.
“Merda! [shit] ” You loudly exclaims after realizing what you had just done.
Bruna turns to you with wide eyes, “O que aconteceu? [what happened]” She asks, her words full of worry.
“I accidentally sent the photos to my dad.” You quietly say. You both share a look knowing what was waiting for you when you get home.
And you were right.
The moment you stepped into your home, you immediately saw the angry and disappointed look on your fathers face as he sat in the living room.
“Hey, papai! Our girls trip was amazing. Super tiring though, i’m just going to head to my room!” You nervously say but before you could take another step, he stops you.
“Y/n, come here. You know exactly why I want to talk to you.”
Bruna lets out a sigh as she pats Neymar’s arm, “Don’t be too hard on her. You were young too once.” She quietly tells him before leaving to her room, giving you two privacy.
“Come here, sit next to me.” He tells you.
You slowly nod and sit down on the coach beside him. “Papai, look, I truly care about Ethan. I don’t care if he’s Kylian’s brother, I-“
“Minha filha, I’m not mad that you’re dating Kylian’s brother. I don’t have anything against them.” Neymar quickly interrupts you. You immediately went from tense and nervous to confused.
You tilt your head to the side before replying, “You’re not? Then why do you seem mad?”
“I’m upset because you thought it’d be best to keep it hidden from me. I’m guessing Bruna knew before me.” He lets out a sigh, running his hands over his dark curls. “I thought you trusted me enough to tell me. If he makes you happy, then that makes me happy. I just wish you would’ve told me.”
You looked down at your hands which were resting on your lap. You couldn’t help but fidget with your rings. “I’m sorry, papai. I was just scared that you wouldn’t approve of him.”
Neymar gently places his hand under your chin, making you look at him. “If he makes my daughter happy, then I approve. Just as long as he doesn’t hurt my daughter.”
You immediately wrap your arms tightly around your father. “I’m sorry for not telling you sooner, papai.”
“Don’t worry, minha filha. Just next time, don’t be scared to tell me even if he hurts you. Because that I would like to know.”
“He won’t, papai.”
“Sure. But at least tell me how you met. Did he treat you well?”

“So what if it’s raining!” | Kyle Broflovski x Gn!Reader | PT. 1
Tumblr media
đŸ›Œ - Summary - Sheila and Gerald Broflovski had planned a date night the weekend of, and set Kyle in charge of babysitting Ike. Kyle, getting extremely bored, invited you over to help and hang out with the two brothers.
- Pairing(s) - Kyle Broflovski x reader
đŸ›Œ - Reader Info- reader LOVES rain, unestablished relationship, mutual unspoken crush, fluff kind of, Reader and Kyle are 18!
- Warnings - Canadian character (ike) 😹
đŸ›Œ - NOTE - Hey hey! I’ll have part two posted in a day or so, hope this is alright so far! 😁 also this isn’t proofread so I’ll have to do that in a bit 💀

“UNO!”
There’s no fucking way.
You groaned.
Letting out a frustrated sigh, you flopped backwards onto the rugged carpet of the Broflovski household in defeat. Your cards flew everywhere, uncaring of the slight mess made.
“Of course, just my luck” You huffed, shifting your head away from the boys sitting before you.
There wasn’t anything you despised more than playing card games with that of Kyle fuckin Broflovski, a teen-prodigy at whatever the hell game you guys decided to bring out next. Despite the “luck”-based system of the current one standing before you on the coffee table, you could have sworn there was some sort of “master-mind” strategy to the entire schtick. It was Uno for goodness sake. It had to have been a set up. He had to have
peered into the future or something.
Whatever.
With an award winning smile, and eyebrows that signaled two-sided pity, Kyle couldn’t help but shrug at your sour attitude. He laughed before he could mutter any apologies, cleaning up the cards littered around your body. “Sorry dude, but I warned you not to play Uno with me. Ike already knows, yet you just had to drag him into this game, huh?”
As if on cue, his little brother pretended to let out a shrill cry of shared defeat.
You sat back up, comforting Ike’s dramatics and ruffled his hair. You stared daggers at Kyle, who was still smugly shuffling through the mass of card games scattered about. It was an outrage. “I’m SORRY! I thought you were all talk dude! The past seven other games were nothing but PLANNED SCHEMES BY YOU! Go-fish, UNO, whatever, you just won them all!”
He scoffed, not looking up at you once. “Guess we’re not counting Ike’s win at solitaire, then?”
All you could do was lovingly punch Kyle, and roll your eyes. He jumped back and laughed a defensive “HEY!” before he could have been attacked any further. Ike cheered, you stood up, and the red-head pretended to cower in fear on the floor, forgetting any of the cards he had been previously sorting. “Smartass” you muttered with a grin.
“Yeah, smartass!” Ike mirrored.
Oh lord, neither of you were the paragon of what the boy should have been looking up to, and it showed. Kyle and you laughed before you crouched back down to help clean up the card games. Your friend sighed, rolling his eyes in a half-assed scold. “Don’t repeat that to mom and dad, Ike, they’ll kill me.”
Smartass? You quirked your eyebrows up in confusion, tilting your head slightly at the notion. “Kill you? I mean, come on, He’s old enough now, it’s not like he doesn’t know things.” You joked, side-eyeing Kyle while putting away the final boxes of the card games. He sighed in response, pinching the bridge of his nose and shaking his head as if recalling a troubling memory. “Yeah, but you haven’t seen our mom when she hears that type of stuff, she goes crazy. So honestly, it’s best if he just stops using that-“
Just then, cutting him off, the lights of the household shut off without any warning. A flash outside the windows rumbled the friendly peace between the three, signaling any nearby residents of an unexpected thunderstorm. Blanketed in sudden darkness, a certain little boy screamed, and ran into an unsuspecting wall.
“Of course, goddammit
UGHHH. A thunderstorm? Really? Hold on guys, give me a second-” Kyle exclaimed, hurriedly fumbling around his pockets for a phone. He grumbled while your excitement suddenly shone through an inky, housed darkness. Finding your phone before your frazzled friend could, you happily tapped the screen and went straight towards the flashlight function. “It’s ok Ike, I’ve got you, don’t run into anymore walls, please.”
A boom, a thunderous crash, and a harrowing plummet of thick drops pelted the house as the little boy hid behind your legs in childish fear.
Storms like these weren’t uncommon in South Park, no, but it felt like it had been forever since the last one wreaked havoc onto the little town, and you always looked forward to them. Despite the setbacks of, well, almost all power going out across town, it was always worth it for the refreshing moments of an insane storm.
“It’s ok Kyle I’ve got my phone now- Ike, dude we should check out the storm! I haven’t seen one like this in AGES!”
Phone now in hand and sporting a tired look of disinterest, Kyle aptly declined. “No. No way, sorry. It’s raining. Shit like this ruins my hair like crazy, and now I’ve got to wait for our stupid power to come back on.” He muttered. Thankfully for you, you had a problem caring, and swiftly walked towards the entrance of the back door, much to your friend’s dismay.
“So what if it’s raining! What comes AFTER a storm is the most beautiful thing ever to look forward to!” You turned back, shifting your gaze towards the two brothers, grinning like a mad man.
As if to compliment your joy, another shattering flash of crisp thunder filled the air, illuminating the rain waiting outside of the Broflovski household. “You’re crazy.” Kyle simply stated, unblinking and unmoving. “I hate how dark our house is.” Was all Ike blathered, moving closer to his brother.
The sway against the boys wasn’t enough, yet despite this, you knew they were going to get FOMO sooner or later with how treacherous the noises outside were. So, without saying another word and a knowing smile, you opened the door to the backyard and ran around as if your life depended on it. And boy, was it worth it. You couldn’t hear the frustrated call of your name over the sound of icy threads weaving the air and sinking into the ground all around you. Laughing and circling around the now mushy grass, a wonderful wave of cold shivered throughout your body, igniting a beautiful adrenaline only such weather could unlock.
“DUDE! YOU’RE GOING TO CATCH A COLD!” You heard over the loudness of the rain. Turning around, you saw what appeared to be a disgruntled silhouette holding a shoddy phone-flashlight, and a stern look chiseled onto the features of a displeased red-head. A typical stance to see him in, and not the last time you’d see it either. Your water-lodged eyes spottet a shorter shadow peering around the taller one, slightly illuminated by the faint light of an IPhone, obviously curious about the weather before him.
Pretending not to hear Kyle, you joyously beckoned Ike over to the backyard, hands outstretched and drenched in water. You grinned, still uncaring of the shivering circumstances.
“COME ONNN, I KNOW YOU GUYS WANT TO! LOOK HOW MUCH FUN IM HAVING OUT HERE!” You spun around and laughed. “SOOOO MUCH FUN!”
Not even a moment passed by before you saw the smaller shadow jolting towards the backyard. Of course! You knew IKE would at least eventually cave, and how could you resist rain like this! The weather was sure to ruin any tidiness the two of you held; tangled hair and drenched clothing, leaving behind frantic smiles plastered onto the faces outside. It was horrifyingly comical, much to the chagrin of Kyle.
And honestly, huge win for you, because now that you had won over your friend’s little brother, the two of you were UNSTOPPABLE!
“IKE NO!- Oh my god

Scott x sister!reader - done trying
Tumblr media
Teen Wolf imagine being Scott sister and having a complicated relationship with him and your mother and putting it into a song and singing your heart out at the talent show. - @cokcola4112💜
A/N: the song used is Running by NF
Sitting in your room, you were chewing the end of your pencil as you stared at the homework in front of you.
“Hey (Y/N), we’re ordering some food, do you want anything?”
Looking up at your mum, you shook your head.
“No thank you, I’m just going to get something later.”
“Are you sure? We haven’t eaten together in a while.”
You turned back to your homework.
“Yeah, I’m sure.”
Melissa sighed and nodded her head, leaning against the doorway as she crossed her arms as she gazed at you.
“How’s Uhm.. how’s school going?” She asked.
You shrugged a little bit.
“Okay I guess.”
She sighed softly and walked inside.
“Are you really not going to eat with us?”
“No. I’ve got school work to do so can you please go.”
“Alright. Alright.”
Melissa walked away and shook her head as she looked at Scott who was waiting for her to come back down, hopefully with you.
“I don’t get it, she’s always trying to do stuff with us.” Scott said.
“She said she was busy.”
Scott sighed and nodded.
You closed your bedroom door, and gave up on your homework, instead you sat on your bed and scrolled through your phone.
You had always had a complicated relationship with Scott and your mom, yes you were twins, but your mom always seemed to favour Scott.
Maybe it had something to do with whatever happened when you were younger, you didn’t know.
But after years and years of trying to put the effort in with them you gave up, and they couldn’t seem to notice what was going on.
You had tried.
You were tired of trying.
You left the house about an hour later, going to meet some of your friends for dinner and you came back, only to be stopped by Scott.
“Are you coming to the game tomorrow?” He asked.
“Hate lacrosse.”
“Oh.. I thought you liked it
” he mumbled.
“Well maybe if you paid attention you would’ve know.” You shrugged.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Nothing. I’m going to bed.”
You wanted to move in with your dad, but because of school and his work, he knew he didn’t have the time to look after you.
And you hated it.
It’s why you signed up for the talent show, you didn’t want people to see you as Scott’s sister, you wanted them to see you for you.
And singing was a huge passion of yours, so as you stood behind the stage the night of the talent show you felt nervous.
Your name was called up and you walked out, standing in front of the microphone, you took a small breath, and waited for your cue to start.
And what you didn’t know was that your mom and brother found out about you taking part and had come to watch.
You took a small breath and began to play the guitar.
“I'm tired. Of holding on to you, it's time to let My pride Go and learn to love myself again, yeah.”
You paused.
“I don't wanna wait another day, I've waited long enough I'm ready I can see the sun, it's coming up. There's happiness on the horizon, I'm hopeful I can see the light, I've Hesitated all my life but I'm all done.”
Scott and Melissa shared a look. You were amazing.
“I'm done running from you. Spent my whole life in your shadow Scared of who I'd be if I, Yeah, Said goodbye and I didn't have you here.”
You took a breath.
“I wish you well but I can no longer stand aside And watch you sabotage the two of us. I love you to death, but I can't spend the rest of my Life in this darkness, I'm done. I'm done.”
Melissa and Scott grew more confused.
“Is this about us..?” Scott whispered.
“I don’t know..”
You carried on singing.
“I wish you the best, but I'm not interested In giving you more of my life, I've already given you too much. I don't wanna lose ya. I don't wanna keep ya. I know that you mean well but when I fail I don't need ya. Rubbing my face in it and treating me like I'm less than you, tell the truth You know I'd be better without ya. Been in your shoes, don't be a fool And try to convince me that I'm the Real issue, when you're the root to every problem I love you but not enough to allow you to continue to drown the both of us, you're Holding me back, you're pulling me down, you're making me hate myself, I Don't wanna leave, but that's what I need, I ain't got a choice, I can't just Let you deceive and make me believe that I don't deserve to be loved. I am not gonna stand aside And watch you attempt to rob and steal and sabotage What little faith I have left, yeah, haven't I scarificed enough for you? Hate seeing you cry, but I think it's time to let go and say our goodbyes. Yeah, I'm gonna miss you, but I am not gonna spend the rest of my life running From you.”
You paused.
“Spent my whole life in your shadow Scared of who I'd be if I Said goodbye and I didn't have you here. I wish you well but I can no longer stand aside And watch you sabotage the two of us. I love you to death, but I can't spent the rest of my Life in this darkness, I'm done. I'm done.”
Mellissa had tears running down her face, and Scott gripped her hand tightly in his.
Because they realised it was about them, they weren’t sure how but they just knew.
“I have to go..”
“Mom!”
Scott rushed out after your mom, following her into the hallway he hugged her tightly, letting her cry into his shoulder.
He sniffled a little.
“We made her feel like that?” Melissa asked.
“I.. I don’t know how
” he whispered.
You had watched them rush out, and you left the stage, handing the guitar to someone else you stuff your hands into your pocket and left.
Wondering around the hallways you stopped when you wondered down their hallway and you paused.
Both of them stopped and looked at you.
“I’m so sorry sweetheart
”
You walked over and stopped next to you, moving aside as she reached for your hand.
“Don’t I love you both but I’m done
” you whispered.
“Give us a chance let us fix this!” Scott begged, “we can’t loose you.â€ïżŒ
“Maybe you should give that song another listen.”
You walked away and they watched you leave.
“I’ve spent too long begging for your attention.” You mumbled.
With that, you left the school and got into your car, clenching your jaw as you fought the tears in your eyes.
Part of you wanted to run back inside and hug them, tell them it’s all forgive but you knew if you did that you knew nothing would change.
They had to learn their lesson, no matter how much it hurt the three of you.
You needed this.
And they needed to learn from this.
You had tried and you couldn’t do it anymore you just couldn’t.
And they didn’t know how to fix it, or if they even could change anything and make it better.
Scott held your guys’ mom as she sobbed into his arms, trying to figure out where she had gone wrong, and he was doing the same thing.
They wanted to fix this and now they weren’t sure if they could, or you would even let them.
Maybe it was too late now.
But they sure as hell were going to try, they were going to try anything

Brome I now have one ask for a part 2 of the alpha steve x pregnant omega. Where he goes into labor and everyone freaks lol
Yesyesyesy
🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑
Steve shift ended a few hours before dnd, (name) having already eaten his snack from Eddie and snuggled on the couch as Steve got stuff prepared.
Steves parents left the house fully paid for them, Steve's dads work moving him to Chicago but it was fine, Steve's parents leaving him a trust fund that would cover any bills for both their lifetimes "we should get (gross topping) on the pizza..." (Name) spoke up and Steve looked slightly disgusted "we can get you a pie baby, them you don't gotta share" (name) seemed pleased with the compromise and rubbed his belly "hear that? Were getting our own pizza!" Steve found how he spoke to their pup precious as he finished up "so you gonna stay here or in our room?" Steve asked and (name) hummed "probably our room or the den... The couch is comfy" (name) seemed indecisive and Steve gently kissed him, unable to resist the other.
Steve ordered the pizza just before the party showed, table set up and pop and a few snacks set up (Steve was ready to let them starve but (name) didn't want the pups to go hungry).
(Name) was dozing on the couch when the doorbell spammed, startling the Omega as Steve stomped to answer the door "oi! Cut that shit out, when the pups born you better not do that shit" Steve was already such a dad (name) noted to himself as his brother came to see him and gave some candy, watching his brother excitedly eat some "chips!" Dustin said excitedly "thank (name), I was willing to let you all starve" let's be real he wouldn't but dad Steve was fun to see.
They got into their game in the dining room as (name) moved to the den (with assistance from Steve, (name) drooling a bit at his arms) and snuggled into a throw blanket as Steve watched a show on the small tv, letting (name)s head.
"Oi! Let the pregnant one get food first" Eddie and Steve barked and the teens parted as Steve prepared a plate for (name), the others looking horrified as he took a bite only to halt "I need to get to a hospital" (name) said seriously and everyone froze before panicking "HENDERSON, GRAB THE GO BAG" as everyone scrambled, (name) grabbing more pizza before he was grabbed by Eddie to the car "you grabbed more pizza??" Mike asked shocked and annoyed at this and (name) sighed "I'm not eating that shitty hospital food"
Dustin, Lucas and Steve came with the go bag and anything they would need "honestly it's not so baaAAD" (Name) hunched in his seat as he crushed a slice of pizza much to the teens horror and Eddie and Steve were just monitoring the distance of the contractions.
(Name) was walking in the medical room as Steve held his arm, Eddie taking the kids to their respective houses with the promise to collect the pups when (name) had the baby.
"Fuck! Steve your fucking cock is never going near me again!" (Name) screeched out as he pushed, practically sucking the life out of Steve's hand but the alpha wouldn't dare say anything to his Omega who was currently pushing a baby out of him.
"Fair enough!" Steve said trying to console his mate.
(Name) was still in slight shock after having the pup, holding their newborn daughter close as Eddie peaked his head in with (fast-food) in hand "Eds, come meet your neice!" (Name) said in a hushed voice and the metalhead quickly set the food down and washed his hands before coming to see his siblings and neice who was absolutely precious, a perfect combination of (name) and Steve "here" (name) said gently handing the baby to Eddie, Steve and (name) watching lovingly as he looked at the babe with so much love and care, the metalhead not caring that Steve snapped a photo on the polaroid of the moment.
"I'm gonna teach you how to play guitar and good music..." Eddie said lovingly as the babe grabbed his nose, Steve capturing another photo "she's never going to not know love"
"Is that my grandkid?" Wayne asked poking his head in, he had already taken the mantle of granddad for the tiny pup and the two new parents smiled as the older man washed his hands "well aren't you the prettiest thing I ever seen" he said to the babe "you did good kid" Wayne said to his nephew who smiled "thanks uncle Wayne" (name) said as he began eating his food, offering Steve fries and his drink.
Eventually everyone got to meet little (baby) Harrington, Robin and Nancy bringing a little going home outfit for the new arrival and everyone getting a picture with her, all to be added to the baby album.
"I'm serious though, your dicks not going near me"
"Fair enough"

it was about your actual eldest daughter quinn cisswap fic :D
hahahaha thank you for clarifying <3 even though it would have been a delightful message either way
i'm so pleased to hear it though! i love her so much, i am slowly but doggedly plugging away at that fic in the precious free time i have and i am looking forward to hopefully one day share her with you and the five other people who are excited to read her story. also it's been a while since i wrote a female protagonist and it's been such a fun and interesting writing process digging into how the gender of it all does or doesn't change things.
anyway! have a little snippet of exposition!! <3
Technically, Quinn met Brady before they were fifteen. The elite hockey world is small, and they played with and against each other at various youth tournaments, but fifteen is when everything really started. Women in the NHL were no longer brand new, although still treated like a novelty — as if that’s ever going to change — but having girls in the national team development program was still in the experimental stages. After all, international competition was still strictly gendered. Someone had convinced the powers that be that if the best girls in the game were legitimately shooting for the NHL now, then it was good for the Americans to at least present the illusion of equal institutional support, the same way Sweden and Finland were doing. Can’t be falling behind the Europeans.
So the program wanted Quinn. Her parents, despite her years on boys’ teams and her tenuous commitment to Michigan, whose D-I hockey team did not historically include girls, had expressed some reservations about sending her off to live in an environment that was 90% teen boys before her sixteenth birthday. They were supportive, yeah, but they kept asking about special accommodations — a phrase that Quinn at fifteen loathed, feeling that it highlighted a difference between her and the boys that she would prefer for everyone to just forget about. But Brady, obviously, was also program-bound, and at a spring tournament in Wisconsin, Quinn’s coach connected Quinn’s parents with Keith and Chantal. Their dads already knew each other from years in the league: Jim behind the bench and in front offices, Keith on the ice. Both families familiar with the other from years of running in the same circles. The Tkachuks, it turned out, had a place in Ann Arbor while their boys were in the program, and they would be happy to let Quinn have the basement apartment, if some guaranteed parental supervision from a take-no-shit NHL veteran would put everyone’s minds at ease.
Brady, tall and gangly with his sweaty curls matted to his head, had watched the adults deliberating for half a minute, then turned to Quinn, stuck his hand out, and said, “Hey, how ya doing? That was a sick goal from the point your last game. Seriously, hell of a shot. I pointed it out to my dad and he was like, well, yeah, Brady, you could do that too if you didn’t have legs like spaghetti noodles. So I guess it’s gonna be leg day every day this summer.”
Quinn, once she had processed all of this, her hand still being shaken, had said, “Uh, yeah, looks like you could really use some work in that department.” Then she winced internally, because, yeah, great first impression on the kid whose parents were brokering her path to the NHL right at that moment. But Brady just laughed.
“So you think you’re gonna come to the program?” he asked.
Quinn nodded at the council of grown-ups. “If they let me, yeah.”
“They’ll let you. You’re too good not to go,” Brady said, so breezily assured that for a moment Quinn forgot why she had doubts. “It’s great. You’ll love it. My brother is there and he loves it. He says it’s not weird at all having girls around. I mean, like, obviously, we’ve got Nicky and Rach on our team right now and they’re great so I didn’t think it would be weird anyway. But Matthew says—” he laughed again, shaking his head “—he says, ‘just remember, you can hit them, but don’t hit on them, and it’ll all be fine.’”
Despite herself, by this point, Quinn was grinning. “Sounds like a pretty good rule.”
“Yeah, he’s a knucklehead, but sometimes he pops out a gem like that,” Brady said.
“Brothers are usually knuckleheads.”
“True. Wait, hey.”
Quinn gave him a sidelong look, one eyebrow raised. He slugged her in the shoulder.
“Quinny, come here a sec,” her mom said, and that’s how Quinn wound up living in Brady Tkachuk’s basement for two years.

To generate interest in my book, I've decided to share the first two chapters of Dr. Malice for free today!
Take a read and tell me what you think!
In the summer of 1989, the sleepy little town of Midway Falls, Virginia is plagued with bizarre power surges, missing people, and violent murders. Teenager Cammy Karnell finds herself at the center of it all when her brother vanishes without a trace. Determined to reunite her family, Cammy with help from her Galaga playing best friend Billy Brown investigate the bizarre occurrences going on in Midway Falls. As the rumors of government conspiracies and haunted arcades fly, the two teens come face to face with a supernatural force unlike any other in the heart of their local small town arcade. Now tasked with helping the ghost of a dead game developer remember his past and overcome his own inner demons, Cammy, Billy, and the entire population of Midway Falls are about to have the foundations of their lives rocked forever.
Tumblr media
June, 1989
“So you think I'm stupid, huh?”
A young girl rode with her older brother in his beat up red Honda Civic. The radio blared Young MC's “Bust a Move” as the two drove down through the downtown streets. The sun was setting, it was warm outside. Kids were walking down the street towards the same place the siblings were heading.
It was summer vacation, and the kids of Midway Falls were ready to have some fun.
Nick laughed, “That's what Dexter told me! He said there’s a ghost of an old man haunting Ant’s and snatches stupid little nerd kids like you straight into Hell!”
“Nick, I don't believe any of that for a minute,” the young girl said, brushing her fingers through her strawberry blonde hair, “I'm not a little kid anymore.”
“You don't believe it started bleeding out of the screen?”
“Dexter is an idiot, of course he’d believe garbage like that. That's why you hang out with him.”
“And who do you hang out with, Cammy? Huh? Huh? You're too big of a dweeb to have friends.”
Cammy huffed, “I have friends.”
“Yeah? Name one.”
“Billy is my friend.”
“Hardly counts, he’s a total dweeb. Then again, maybe that’s why you hang out with him!”
“Why don’t you keep your eyes on the road?”
Nick finally shut up and trained his eyes on the road again, singing along badly to the radio. Cammy was already getting a headache from him, but she was hoping once they got to the arcade she wouldn't have to deal with him much.
Their father was out of town on some fancy business trip. Their mother was working late, helping shut down the school before summer vacation was in full swing. Nick was going to the arcade with some of his friends, but mom insisted he couldn't leave his little sister at home. So he was forced to bring Cammy along against his will. She didn’t really want to come along with him either, but she didn’t have a choice in the matter either.
As long as she stayed out of his way, she'd be fine.
Nick sang along loudly as he punched her none too gently in the shoulder. She groaned and adjusted her glasses, already wishing she could jump out of the moving vehicle.
Finally, the car pulled up in the parking lot of a run down strip mall. Ivy snaked along the brick walls, threatening to consume them entirely. The neon lights glowed brightly on the front of the building, displaying “ANT'S ARCADE”. The “E” in “ARCADE” was flickering in and out periodically, appearing like the flashing light of a club. Other kids Cammy recognized from school were already going in. She was excited.
They got out of the car and strutted into the building. The arcade was full of kids playing on the machines, running around and watching others get high scores. Music was blaring while machines beeped and flashed bright colors. Just watching it was a thrill. Cammy couldn't wait to jump into the middle of it all.
“Shit.” Nick said, reaching into his pockets.
Cammy scowled, “You know mom said not to swear.”
“Shut up!” Nick shot back, “I forgot my quarters at home!”
“Well, sucks to be you then.”
Nick looked at her. His eyes trailed down to the purse hanging from her shoulder. He started smiling evilly.
Cammy took a few steps back, “Oh no you aren't! You did this the last time! I'm not giving you my quarters!”
“Fine then. I'll take ‘em!”
Nick snatched Cammy's purse off her shoulder, digging through it. Cammy cried out and tried to take it back, but he held it out of her reach. He pulled out all the quarters he could find and dropped it on the floor.
“Thanks, dork!” He taunted as he ran off to join his friends at the Operation Wolf cabinet, some stupid shooter war game Cammy had no interest in.
She picked her purse up off the floor and groaned. Nick had taken all of her quarters and left her with nothing. Now she couldn't play any of the games. She'd just be stuck here watching everyone else play for the next few hours.
Except...
There was someone she could talk to. Maybe he'd help her.
Cammy walked through the crowded rows of kids playing the games, reaching the front counter. An overweight balding man ran the counter, wiping down the surfaces and exchanging dollars for quarters. He wore a purple shirt with the arcade’s logo and mascot on it. His cargo shorts jingled with the sounds of quarters. When he saw Cammy, his eyes lit up and a smile crossed his face.
“Aaay! If it ain't Cammy!” He greeted her heartily, “How ya doing? How's your parents?”
Cammy smiled back at him weakly, “I'm good. They're good. Yeah. Umm... Mr. Ant, can I ask a favor?”
Mr. Ant perked a playful eyebrow, “Your brother stole your quarters again, huh?”
Cammy giggled awkwardly, “Yeah... I tried to stop him but he's too tall and held my purse out of my reach.”
Mr. Ant chuckled as he reached into his cargo shorts and pulled out a handful of quarters, handing them to Cammy, “Big brothers will be big brothers. If I see him taking your quarters again, I'll be sure to give him a firm talking to.”
Cammy grinned, taking the quarters and shoving them in her jean jacket pocket, “Thank you Mr. Ant. You're the best!”
“Go have some fun, kid,” he said to her, waving her off. She bounced away, looking for an open game to play.
That was a problem. All the games were full with kids waiting in line to play. Especially the newer games, like what Nick was playing with the pretty graphics and full colors. Cammy sighed as she walked towards the back of the arcade, where some of the older games were. There were less kids back here, but there were still quite a few taking up most of the cabinets. She'd still have to wait until her turn to play.
One of the kids was playing at the Galaga cabinet with a few of his friends. It was Cammy’s friend from school; a pudgy redhead kid named Billy Brown. Billy had just died in Galaga and was putting in his initials when he suddenly let out an angry yell.
“NQC beat my high score!!”
His friends gasped at the scoreboard. Cammy glanced at the screen to see Billy's initials, "BMB" had dropped to second place. At the first place position were the initials “NQC”. Cammy remembered hearing about Billy playing for almost ten hours straight to beat the previous high score that was previously held by NQC. Just a few days ago, he finally did it and claimed his title of number one high score on Galaga. But looking at the scoreboard, NQC had beaten that record by almost two thousand points.
The mysterious NQC held the number one record on every single cabinet in Ant's Arcade. He or she was an urban legend among the regulars at the arcade. No one ever saw them in action. No one, at least from Cammy's school, had the initials of NQC. Even skilled players couldn't come close to the same scores as NQC. Billy was one of the few who had accomplished it, and he only held it for maybe 72 hours.
“When I find NQC, I'm gonna give them a piece of my mind!” He shouted, “I can't believe they beat my high score already!!”
“I guess they're just that good,” one of his friends said, in awe at the score.
Cammy walked away from the group of boys to the very back of the arcade. Even though she was friends with Billy, she didn’t want to interrupt his game. Instead, she walked further back by the bathrooms in the corner, where one of the lights was out, leaving the corner dark. There, partially obscured by the shadows was a free cabinet. No one was playing it. Cammy approached it, looking up at the marquee. The bright red light glared down at her, illuminating the title of the game.
DR. MALICE
She had seen this game in passing when she had come to the arcade, but she never played it. Mainly because her mom told her to never play scary or violent games. And with the blood red marquee and dark cabinet design, it certainly looked like both of those.
But she just had her thirteenth birthday last month. She was a big girl. She had watched Children of the Corn with her big brother and only had nightmares for a week. She could handle anything!
The screen displayed the company name and title in fancy pixelated graphics. An animated sprite of a doctor ran across the bottom of the screen, chasing little green aliens. The screen read:
COYOPP INDUSTRIES INC.
PRESENTS
DR. MALICE
INSERT 1 COIN TO PLAY.
Cammy approached the cabinet. It was quite the intimidating machine; nearly twice her size and certainly thrice her weight. The bright red accents on the dark indigo finish seemed to glow with an almost alien-like power. She noticed there was a severe imperfection on the right side of the machine. The top part of the cabinet’s side was broken, slightly exposing the inside. It drew her curiosity even more, since she had never seen the inside of an arcade machine. She reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out a quarter, pushing it into the coin slot. She placed her hands on the joystick and buttons, feeling an odd static shock as she did. She blamed it on her shoes building up static electricity from running across the carpet.
The game took a few seconds to load up, before it came up with a new screen that read:
LEVEL ONE:
DESTROY ALL ALIENS.
Her character was loaded into what looked like a laboratory. The graphics reminded her a bit of Street Fighter, one she had seen her brother play with his friends, but wasn't allowed to play because it was “too violent”. It also reminded her of Legend of Zelda, a game she would play on her brother's NES behind his back. She moved the character between several maze-like screens. One button threw a syringe, the other was a dodge button. The remaining two buttons seemed non-functional. It was easy to get the hang of.
As she entered a new room, a green alien was in the middle of the space. It turned and started charging. Quickly, Cammy disposed of the alien by throwing the syringe. It promptly exploded into rainbow colors, which she found rather charming. As she moved through the rooms, she cleared out a few more aliens and completed the level.
CONGRATULATIONS! YOU BEAT:
LEVEL 1.
As the next level loaded up, a little cut scene began to play. It was the doctor character approaching a table with an apple sitting on it. The doctor took the apple and ate it. As he did, text popped up below the scene.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A DOCTOR EATS AN APPLE?
Cammy raised an eyebrow at the odd question. Just as she was about to question it more, the doctor on the screen exploded into rainbow colors. The text changed to an awkward delivery of a joke.
HE'D PROBABLY EXPLODE OR SOMETHING. APPLES KEEP DOCTORS AWAY AFTER ALL.
Cammy found herself giggling at the dry humor. Yeah, it was kind of stupid, but she found it charming. It was just her kind of humor.
Once the cut scene completed, level two loaded up. It was more of the same with slightly more challenging enemy patterns. This level introduced a small puzzle section. It was a block pushing puzzle, something Cammy was very good at. Since it was still an early level, she had no problem navigating the blocks and getting her character through the room. Once she destroyed the last alien, the game congratulated her again and loaded up another cutscene similar to the first. This time, it featured two aliens in the middle of a conversation.
WHAT DID ONE ALIEN SAY TO THE OTHER?
I HAVE NO IDEA. I DON'T SPEAK ALIEN.
The stupid joke had Cammy laughing out loud. She was ashamed to say she found these silly jokes funny, but she couldn't help it. She didn't think such a scary looking game would have such a great sense of humor.
She ended up playing through quite a few levels, each one getting progressively more difficult, but always rewarding her with a cute cut scene joke. It was challenging. She lost a couple of lives, but she was rising through the levels quickly. In fact, a few of the other children had taken notice and were watching her play, cheering her on. Wanting to seem cool to everyone, she put in her best effort and began to show off.
“She's a natural!”
“How did she get so far in that game? I only got to level five!”
“Woah, you go Cammy!”
Cammy was smiling as she played. Everyone in the arcade was impressed with her skills. She knew she could conquer this game with no problem. Just as she was about to take out an entire room of aliens, a voice from across the room yelled at her.
“Why's everyone watching this dork play?”
Cammy was suddenly pushed from the cabinet by a pair of strong hands. She nearly fell on the floor, but managed to catch her balance before tumbling over. She looked up and saw her brother now standing at the cabinet. She watched in horror as her character was swarmed by aliens and she lost her last life, all thanks to her brother screwing her up.
GAME OVER.
Everyone was actually on her side and booed and hissed at Nick for ruining the game. Nick, being the jackass he was, didn't care.
“You guys really watching a girl play this stupid game?” he asked, “Betcha I can get to level thirteen on one quarter, no problem!”
Nick gloated more before he popped in a quarter, one of Cammy's quarters no less, and started a new game. The level loaded up again, putting Nick in a room with an alien. Not expecting to immediately face an enemy, Nick’s character was attacked and lost his first life. The kids started to laugh.
“Uh, uh, I'm just getting started,” he said nervously.
Cammy was entertained by the comedic timing of his death. Though in the back of her mind, she could have sworn there wasn't an enemy when she loaded up the first level.
Nick tried again, killing the first alien. He moved to the next room and was bombarded with three aliens. He managed to take out two before the last one got his character. He was already on his last life. The audience of children were snickering at his failure to even get halfway into the first level.
“I'm just getting started! Cammy had beginner's luck!” he insisted.
Once again, he loaded up the first level, killed the first alien, then moved into the next room to kill the three aliens. He moved into an empty room. Nick chuckled to himself as he moved the character through. But once the doctor reached the middle of the room, a hole opened up under him, and he disappeared.
YOU HAVE FALLEN INTO A PITFALL.
Nick was flabbergasted. The other kids continued to laugh at Nick's failed attempt to outdo his little sister. Cammy raised an eyebrow. Now that definitely hadn't been there when she played.
GAME OVER.
Underneath the game over was a sentence that almost seemed to be written in a snarky way.
YOU AREN'T THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER.
ARE YOU?
The laughter of the other children turned even louder at reading this. Nick's face turned red with a combination of embarrassment and rage.
“Did this piece of garbage just call me stupid?!” He demanded, backing away from the machine.
Cammy snickered under her breath, “Well, it confirmed what we already knew.”
The other children cackled at her snarky remark. Nick clenched his fists, glaring at Cammy before he turned back to the machine. He went around to the side of it, where the top part of the machine was partially broken. Breathing in heavy breaths, Nick shouted.
“YOU'RE THE STUPID PIECE OF SHIT!”
He drew back his leg and kicked the side of the machine hard enough to cause it to wobble. The already broken side of the machine came loose, falling out and right on to Nick. The sharp side cut his face, causing him to pull back and cover his face in shock and pain. He shouted expletives as he tried to get his face to stop bleeding.
“WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON BACK HERE?!”
The other children, hearing the voice of an angry adult, scattered like flies, leaving Cammy and Nick alone by Dr. Malice. Mr. Ant stomped towards them, his face contorted into a scowl. He saw the broken arcade cabinet and the cut on Nick's face and immediately made the connection.
“What do you think you're doing, punk?! Tearing up my machines?! Those cost money, y'know!” Mr. Ant scolded the boy, “You gonna pay for the damages you caused? Cause I sure don't want to have to call your parents and tell them you broke one of my cabinets!”
Nick said nothing, just held his face and glared at Mr. Ant.
Mr. Ant stepped closer, speaking in a threatening voice, “What do you have to say for yourself, son?”
Nick looked down, clenching his teeth and his fists. He managed to croak out a very weak “Sorry.”
Mr. Ant sneered, “Get out of my arcade before I call the cops. Punks like you aren't welcome.”
Nick looked like he wanted to argue, but being face to face with the much larger, much scarier Mr. Ant left him speechless. He quickly darted away, holding his head down so none of the other kids would see him. The bell on the door tingled as he left.
Mr. Ant heaved a tired sigh. He turned back to Cammy, who still appeared shaken by the whole thing, “You alright, kid?”
Cammy nodded slowly, “Yeah, I'm okay, thank you.”
Mr. Ant went to pick up the side of the cabinet and try to put it back on the machine again, “Can't believe you two have the same parents. Ain't no way that little brat is related to you.”
Cammy shrugged, “I'm sorry about him.”
“Ah, don't apologize on his behalf. You're a good kid. You shouldn't have to put up with the likes of him.”
Mr. Ant was trying to put the side of the cabinet back into place, but the harsh kick from Nick had dented it in a way that it wouldn't fit properly. He swore under his breath. Cammy picked up on this and approached him.
“Are you okay, Mr. Ant?”
Mr. Ant looked down at her, his face contorted in frustration, “Huh? Oh, uh, yeah, yeah I'm alright. It's just this cabinet belonged to a very close friend of mine. It's one of the few things I have to remember him by.”
“So my brother kicking it was like an extra kick in the gut to you, huh?”
“You could say that, yeah.”
Mr. Ant reached into his pocket and produced a roll of duct tape. He looked at Cammy, “Hey, you mind taping this for me while I hold it in place?”
Cammy nodded as she grabbed the tape from  Mr. Ant. She carefully taped the broken side to the front and back of the cabinet, being careful not to wrinkle the tape. As she helped Mr. Ant, she managed to get a good view of the inside of the cabinet. It was unlike anything she had ever seen before; a tangle of wires and circuit boards connecting into a large CRT screen. It was very alien and almost a bit unsettling to see what went on behind the scenes of the games. Dust was kicked up from the inside, causing her and Mr. Ant to sneeze. It was almost like no one had touched the inside in over a decade, not even to repair it. Once she was done, Mr. Ant let go and the side stayed in place. It wasn't pretty with the damages on the top, the dent in the side, and now the ugly duct tape holding it together, but it was better than the entire inside of the cabinet being exposed for children to mess with.
“It'll have to do until I can call a maintenance man,” Mr. Ant said, “Thanks for your help, Cammy.”
Cammy smiled back, “You're welcome, Mr. Ant.”
Despite all the damages done to the cabinet, the game itself still seemed to be in working order.  Mr. Ant decided to stick an “OUT OF ORDER” sign on the controls anyways, likely to prevent other kids from damaging it further. Cammy was disappointed she couldn't try the game again, but she understood.
“Listen, for all your help, I'll give ya a few more quarters to play,”  Mr. Ant said, handing her another handful of quarters, “I'll make sure your brother stays out of trouble until it's time for you to go home. Now go have some fun.”
Mr. Ant waddled away, his cargo shorts jingling with quarters, leaving Cammy alone with the game. As she stared at the imposing cabinet, she couldn't help but ponder over what had just happened. How had the difficulty suddenly spiked when her brother played it? Where did all the extra enemies and traps come from that she never ran into? Did the game somehow... Change itself for her brother? Could games even do that? Surely they couldn't...
Cammy stared at the screen. The demo of the game played quietly.
...
What the...
Maybe she was going crazy, but for a split second, Cammy thought she saw the demo glitch into something else for a moment: a screen full of glitches that seemed to be forming some kind of pattern. Two black voids empty of any data seemed to stare back at her, full of some sort of malicious feeling. But just as quickly as she saw it, it was gone again. It left her feeling uneasy and nauseous, like someone was angry. Maybe not at her...
But at someone who had done wrong.
Feeling anxious, Cammy turned her back on the machine and quickly went to the other side of the arcade, far out of view of the Dr. Malice cabinet. Maybe she was just being paranoid, but she suddenly felt as if someone was watching her every move. She decided to distract herself by playing some of the two player racing games with the other kids at the arcade, which was lots of fun. She quickly forgot about the incident with the Dr. Malice cabinet and focused on enjoying herself.
Tumblr media
Midnight rolled around at Ant's Arcade. Mr. Ant slowly ushered the kids to the front door as he started closing down the arcade, bidding them a goodnight and a safe drive home. Cammy was one of those kids. As she walked out the door with the other kids, she saw that her brother's red Honda Civic was gone from the parking lot. She gave a frustrated sigh. She'd have to see if Mr. Ant would let her use the phone so she could call her mom to come pick her up.
Just then, a pudgy ginger boy squeezed between other kids leaving the arcade. Billy Brown ran up next to Cammy, looking out of breath. He waved at Cammy excitedly.
“Are you walking home?” He asked, “I can walk with you!”
Cammy agreed, as she knew it would be safer to walk with someone rather than alone. She said goodbye to Mr. Ant and strolled down the street with Billy. Other kids were walking back to their homes, but since Cammy and Billy lived on the outskirts, they had to walk further than everyone else. Eventually, they were the only ones on the street. The orange lamps lit the dark suburban streets, bathing everything in a warm, industrial glow. Billy was a very talkative kid. He talked about movies, games, and how he was going to practice even harder to defeat the mysterious NQC.
“Who do you think NQC is, Cammy?” he asked.
Cammy shrugged, “Your guess is as good as mine. But I'm sure they're one of the best players in the entire city. Maybe even the entire state.”
They walked in silence only for a little while before Billy spoke up again.
“I saw what your brother did to that machine,” he said solemnly, “What a jerk. And he left you here? Total dweeb. Him and Dexter and all their friends are a bunch of dweebs.”
Cammy chuckled, “Yeah, they are. I wish Nick never met Dexter, but I can't really stop them from being friends.”
“Dexter's the biggest jerk. I wish I was bigger and stronger, and then I can beat him up myself!”
They walked along. The only sound in the night was the occasional car passing by. They came across two lone vending machines, the low hum of their light breaking through the quiet night.
“Hold on, I wanna buy a candy bar.” Billy said, approaching the machines. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a dollar, putting it into the machine. The machine rejected the dollar at first, spitting it back out.
“Rats.” Billy said as he put the dollar back in. It once again spit the dollar back out, making him sigh, “These things never take my dollars!”
With a little more patience, Billy managed to get the machine to accept the dollar. With it, he punched in the numbers for a candy bar. As the machine began to eject the snack, there was a sudden surge of light before everything on the street turned pitch black. Billy screamed in fright while Cammy jumped back, startled at the sudden darkness around them. Just as quickly as the power went out, it came back on. Billy was holding on to the vending machine, looking terrified out of his mind. He locked eyes with Cammy and chuckled nervously.
“I uh... That wasn't me who screamed like a little girl!” he assured her as he tried to look strong by puffing out his chest.
Cammy looked around, her nerves a bit frayed, “More power surges. There’s been a lot lately.”
Billy distracted himself by grabbing the snack out of the machine. He looked out in the distance over the hills and fields to a well lit collection of buildings. Tall smokestacks rose into the air, spitting out smoke into the otherwise clear night sky. The harsh lights made the industrial area intimidating and unwelcoming. On the side of the largest building was a sign with a company name, both in English and Japanese:
JOUZU APPLIANCES AND ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING.
“My mom said it’s because of that factory they built last year.” Billy said, “She said something about they’re taking all our energy! I voted against it last year but they still built it! Or something like that. I don’t know. I stopped listening ‘cause she started ranting about the government.”
Cammy remembered her parents talking about a factory that was being built last year, and how so many residents of Midway Falls didn’t want it built here. But the government of the town went ahead and okayed the building anyway. It only started production a few months ago, but already it seemed to be causing problems. Most notably with the frequent surges that plagued the power grid. Lots of residents were getting angry. Some had even begun protesting outside the factory’s doors. But it was a fruitless effort. Cammy didn’t really understand why the adults were so riled up by it, but she agreed the surges were annoying and scary.
The two continued on at a faster rate this time, startled by the power surge. They reached the entrance of their neighborhood, where only the low hum of the street lamps cut through the dead silence of the night.
Cammy looked up, checking over her shoulder.
“What's wrong?” Billy asked, already digging into his candy bar.
“Did you hear that?”
“No. What is it?”
“It sounded like... Something heavy. Like it was being moved across the pavement.”
“I didn't hear anything.”
Cammy paused, trying to listen over the buzz of the street lamps. She didn't hear the noise again. Perhaps she was just imagining things.
“Sorry, I think the power surge freaked me out a little bit,” She said, continuing to walk.
“That's okay,” Billy replied with a chocolate covered smile, “I can take out anyone who tries to mess with us. I promise!”
They had finally reached Cammy's house at the end of the street. Billy finished off his candy bar and waved goodbye to her. The front porch was decorated with flowers and old rusting iron chairs. As she approached the porch, she was about to knock on it. She was startled as the door swung open and her mother April stood there, her keys in hand and in her pajamas. She looked down at Cammy, her expression partially obscured by her glasses and messy brown hair.
“Camellia! My goodness there you are!” she cried, taking her in a tight hug, “How did you get home?!”
Cammy, startled by the affection, spoke into her mother's shoulder, “I walked home with Billy.”
“Oh thank goodness, I was just about to come get you!” April said, bringing her inside the home, “To say I was worried when Nicholas came home without you... Well, that would have been an understatement!”
As they entered the kitchen, Cammy saw Nick sitting at the dining table. He had a bandage on his face and seemed to be avoiding their gaze. He looked ashamed. The kitchen was filled with the scent of cigarette smoke, overpowering the nice flowers that sat on the counter.
“Mr. Anthony left me a message on the answering machine,” April said, her tone suddenly becoming serious as she turned towards Nick, “He told me everything Nicholas did at the arcade, including pushing his little sister and stealing her quarters. Not only that, but he came home smelling like cigarette smoke again!”
Nick didn't look at them.
“Nicolas Robert Karnell, you better apologize to your sister right this minute,” April demanded, her tone slipping into that threatening mother tone, the tone all moms used when they wanted you to know you had really screwed up.
Nick hesitated, refusing to look up from the floor. He finally spoke, sounding none too sincere, “Sorry Cammy.”
April didn't look particularly happy with his tone, but decided to turn away and speak with Cammy, “Camellia honey, will you please go to your room for the rest of the night? I need to speak with your brother alone.”
Cammy quickly left the kitchen, going upstairs to her room. For the rest of her night, she stayed upstairs. As she moved around from the bathroom to her bedroom, she could hear her mother yelling at Nick, asking things like what was wrong with him, why he thought that was okay, was he doing it to impress Dexter and his friends, so on and so forth. She barely heard a peep out of Nick during the scolding. Finally, once Cammy turned out her lights and got into bed, she heard the sound of Nick's footsteps stomping up the stairs and into his room across the hall. He slammed the door hard enough to shake the walls. There was no doubt about it, he was grounded for a good few weeks, maybe even a month or more.
Cammy breathed a sigh of relief. At least Nick got a comeuppance for his poor behavior tonight. She snuggled into her sheets and fell fast asleep.
That night, Nick struggled to fall asleep. The cut on his face made it difficult to lay on that side of his body, since the pillow was pressing into the wound. The harsh scolding he had received from his mother also wasn't helping. He sighed as he stared up at the ceiling. He sat up and checked the clock on his night stand.
1:35 AM
Nick swore under his breath as he tried yet again to lay on his side. The cut hurt too much to put pressure on, so he returned to laying on his back. He closed his eyes and started to drift off.
Sniff sniff...
What was that weird smell?
Nick sat up again. His room was empty. He checked the clock on his nightstand again.
2:11 AM
Nick laid back down again. He swore he smelled something. Like... Something mechanical and coppery. Kind of like the smell of change. He felt... Oddly paranoid. He couldn't place why, but he was finding it impossible to go to sleep. Maybe it was all the yelling he had endured from his mother. Maybe he was feeling... Guilty.
Nick closed his eyes again. When he opened them, he was laying on his side facing the clock. Through his grogginess, he saw something... Odd.
  :     AM
Maybe another power surge had happened during the night while he dozed off and reset his clock. He didn't worry too much about it and dozed off again. He woke up again, feeling... Uncomfortable. He checked the clock again, and found a rather unsettling sight.
8:88 AM
Was the clock broken? That definitely wasn't right. As he sat up to reach for it, he froze. In the corner of his eye was something at the foot of his bed. Something... Tall. Solid. Unmoving. Nick turned, slowly, terrified at the prospect of someone invading his room. He faced the intruder head on.
It was an arcade machine, turned off, completely dead.
To say it startled him would have been an understatement, but he quickly started to laugh it off.
“Okay, you guys got me. That's really funny,” he said with a weak laugh, “You can come out now Cammy, I know this was a prank.”
As he stared at the machine, common sense got the better of him. How in the world would his petite sister get this giant thing into his room? Much less up the stairs and through the doorway?
How did this thing get into his room at this hour of the night?
Just then, Nick jumped as the marquee of the machine suddenly flipped on. He was bathed in a bright red light, illuminating his entire room. He looked down on the floor where a power cord from the machine was sitting.
Completely unplugged.
Nick dared to look up at the marquee. In stark red pixelated letters read the title.
DR. MALICE
A noise started to reverberate from the machine. A deep, synthy bass noise that rose and fell, almost like the breathing of a human.
“What... The... Hell
” Nick breathed, his voice catching in his throat.
Another noise came from the machine. This time, it was a voice, deeply compressed and bit-crushed. It spoke quietly, but just loud enough for Nick to hear it. It chilled him to the core.
“You
You think you're above the consequences?”
Nick started to say something, but felt as if his voice had been snatched from him. It was as if his throat was full of electrified needles, preventing him from speaking. His whole body became numb, like he had lost control of everything.
A deep, almost sadistic chuckle came from the machine, “Oh, you're gonna shut up and listen to me, boy. You've had too much time to talk. But I know just what you'd say anyways.”
The screen on the arcade machine flared to life, filled with strange, glitchy patterns. The glitches seemed to form two black holes on the screen, shaped like gouged out human eye sockets. They stared directly into Nick, seeing into the deepest recesses of his soul.
“I know your kind, Nicholas Karnell. I know what you're all about. I've seen your memories. I've seen the horrible things you've done, just to fit in. All the people you've hurt... Just to feel like you're somebody. Heh. Your kind never changes. Even after so many years.”
Nick's heart raced, thumping in his chest so loud, he could hear it in his ears. His body was soaked with sweat as he faced what he assumed was Satan himself in the form of an arcade cabinet. He wanted to apologize. He wanted to beg for forgiveness for kicking the machine. He wanted to fall at Cammy's feet and apologize for everything he had done to her. He wanted to change his ways right then and there.
But because his voice was gone, he was helpless to do anything.
The machine spoke again, the eyes on the screen narrowing into enraged slits, “You only wish to hurt the little guy. People like your sister, the so-called nerds... People... Like... Me.”
The screen turned off, but the marquee continued to glow. Another bit-crushed evil chuckle sounded from the machine. Something started to glow in the corner of the screen.
No...
Something was coming out of the screen.
A hand, a vaguely human hand, grabbed onto the edge of the controls, pulling itself forward and out, revealing an arm wearing some kind of surgical glove and white sleeve. Another hand came out of the opposite side of the screen, similar to the first. Both hands grabbed the edge of the controls and pulled with it a head full of dark, messy hair, shoulders wearing a white coat, and a chest... A chest with three distinct black spots, coated in red pixelated words that read “ERROR”. It was a man... But it was definitely not fully human. The form glitched and crackled with electricity, smelling like an electrical fire combined with the coppery scent of quarters. The voice spoke again.
“Well... Nicholas
”
The head of the... Man? Whatever it was looked up at Nick, its eyes obscured by a pair of thick glasses. It had no mouth. Only a nose and potentially eyes hiding behind the spectacles.
Wait... It did have a mouth.
No...
Where the mouth should have been was the start of a split that circled around the entire head. It was full of nothing but garbled, corrupted coding and glitches. The split opened wider, seeming to form into some kind of twisted and demented smile. The voice spoke, relishing in his fear.
“Who's the little guy now?”
The "mouth" opened wider, exposing more of the nightmarish nonsense inside as the figure grabbed Nick by the ankles. A jolt of electricity shot through his body, paralyzing him from head to toe as the monster from the cabinet slowly dragged him towards the machine. Adrenaline shot through Nick as he managed to flip over on his stomach and grab the foot of his bed, holding on for dear life. He tried to scream for Cammy, his mother, anybody, but his throat was filled with even more electrifying pins and needles than before. A sharp pain shot through Nick's side, causing him to let go of the bed frame. He was dragged into the screen of the arcade machine by the terrifying creature, disappearing from sight.
Silence. The machine sat still for a moment. The marquee slowly powered down, leaving the room in complete darkness. As silently as it had appeared, it was gone, leaving no trace of itself or the young boy it had just taken.
The clock on the nightstand read:
3:59 AM

"Cool Girl" || Halstead! Sister One Shot || Jay Halstead x Sister
*re-posting this because I'm stupid and accidentaly delated my blog đŸ«
Tumblr media
First time writing teen Becca.
Jay was so tired that he had fallen asleep watching TV. Actually, the only reason he woke up was because the gunshots on the movie playing were too loud. He scratched his eyes as he yawned and stretched himself, not wanting to stand up. "What time is it?" he asked to himself, and then muttered a "Fuck!" when he saw the clock on his phone.
He turned his head to look at the kitchen and it was intact, lights off and all cleaned. "She surely didn't even made herself a sandwish. I bet she hasn't eat anything all afternoon, since we arrived" - He grumbled as he stood. -"If I don't cook, she doesn't eat. She has to learn to do things for herself, this girl...". Jay wasn't even thinking what he was saying. He was still half asleep in zombie mode, which helped for the words that came out of Becca's room to have more impact on him.
He stopped dead in the middle of the hallway, not sure of what he was hearing: Nick loved a girl I was pretending to be. "Cool girl". Men always use that, don't they? It was definitely Becca.
Jay walked slowly towards the door, trying not to make noises. Her sister's voice was clearer as he came closer: As their defining compliment: "She's a cool girl".
-"What the hell?" He muttered as he stepped outside of the room with his ear on the door.
Cool girl is hot. Cool girl is game. Cool girl is fun. Cool girl never gets angry at her man.
The detective slowly opened the door until he was able to see the back of his sister, she was facing to the mirror. There was something in her hands, but he couldn't figure what was it.
She only smiles in a chagrined, loving manner. And then presents her mouth for fuc--
-"WHO ARE YOU TALKING WITH?" Jay whipped the door and jumped inside of the room.
Becca was frightened by his brother's intrusion and screamed a bit as she turned to face him. She was holding a sheet of paper in her hands: "WHAT'S GOING ON? WE DON'T KNOCK THE DOOR ANYMORE?"
-"What was that? Who's Nick, Becca?" Her brother crossed his arms in a scolding position.
-"What!? Oh! You mean..." She bursted into laughter, unable to talk.
He was growing in cholera: "Becca Halstead, I'm not playing. Who the hell is Nick!?"
-"Relax, silly! Nick's nobody, literally. It's just a character".
Jay was confused.
-"It's a monologue...from a movie...for my acting class. I have to memorice it and I was talking to the mirror because I have no one to rehearse with. So, yeah Nick doesn't exist, you can chill". She laughed a bit more.
-"Oh" Jay's tense body started to relax. -"That's a pretty heavy content for you, anyway".
-"My teacher talked to you about this when I was moved to the advanced class and you agreed".
He frowned tryig to remember that conversation.
-"I don't see what's the problem. We already watched this movie...".
Jay's confused face was becoming more noticeable.
-"Gone Girl? Will chose it for a movie night. You teased him because the protagonist was very similar to one of his many ex-girlfriends".
Her brother chuckled: "Ah, I remember".
-"Look, this was given to us randomly, but I can talk to my teacher and change it if you prefer".
-"No. I mean, I don't know. You already watched the movie, I'll just give it a check if you don't mind".
-"Sure". She handled him the paper.
He changed the subject after a few seconds of silence: "I bet you didn't eat anything, right?" There was some accusation in his tone.
-"I had leftovers from lunch. I intented to make a sandwich, but I didn't want to wake you up. You seemed to be very tired".
Jay felt bad for how he had judged his sister before: "Alright. Put on your shoes, we're going out for hamburgers".
Becca gave a small jump of excitement and she hurriedly grabbed her boots: "I rather pizza, if you don't mind".
Thanks for reading. If you liked it, it would help my soul if you give it a like, comment or share. 😌♡

'When I get home' for the Wip game pls!! 👀 ❀
When I Get Home | Multi-Ships | JJK | College AU
Once again, you and the girlies in the Anxiety Anonymous server know a little bit about this au I have. Although this one is my personal one whereupon it focuses on the combined relationships of Kento Nanami, Mae-Hui Kim (oc), and Sukuna Itadori. With the supporting cast being Gojo's graduating year and above. Alongside minor appearances from others as well.
Now some things about it have changed due to information from the manga and its closure coming to light! Specifically regarding Sukuna.
So originally in this AU Sukuna and Yuuji were siblings with Choso and his brothers being Sukuna's step-brothers. Now though, Sukuna is their very young uncle, being the same age as Choso with their rather young nephew/sibling being Yuuji of course. Choso still had his other two younger siblings from his mother's previous marriage. Yuuji was just a surprised baby from the new marriage. The other curses are Kenjaku's other children from the multiple marriages and affairs he's had.
That out of the way-
Sukuna Itadori, also know as Ryomen by his fellow classmates, has finished his final year of high school and is now going off to college for a culinary degree. He lives at home with his very mature father of course
“Itadori Sukuna!” A rumble of the mountain managed to get the freshly wet pink-headed rebel to turn way in attention from the game he was playing. Toothpick in between sharp teeth as he jostled it with his tongue. This was the last week he'd be underneath his father's roof. It wasn't completely unenjoyable, just cramped. Tossing his head back to look at the ceiling, Sukuna's clouded gaze grew colder. “Fuck off old man, get Jin to do it!”  “I'll be putting my foot up your ass in a second you brat!” Like as if it was a premonition, Sukuna mouthed every word his father said. “Now get your lazy ass down here before I come up there!” `Just one week left.` Like a mantra on his tongue, Sukuna already had his things packed saved for some clothes, his bed, portable tv, and gaming counsel.
Mae-Hui Kim and Kento Nanami are both freshmen getting their law degrees. She's going for environmental while he's going for medical.
When Sukuna and Mae-Hui meet though, she is not impressed in the slightest.
“Kinji.” “Yeah, yeah, I'll be done shortly.” Whoever the pre-teen was talking back to must've gotten that attitude often enough to not care. Because the only change was them coming over to them. That's when he saw copper red hair, tucked and pulled back with a Hercules beetle-shaped hair clip with the warmest brown eyes he'd ever seen.  “Kinji, I'm not playing. I have a class to get to and you have practice.” “Nah, I can miss one game if it means putting this old man in his place.” Bouncing the ball once and then tossing it at Sukuna. The pink-haired man caught it one hand easily. When her eyes laid on him Sukuna held his breath, a toothy grin spread on his lips. Only she returned the look disapprovingly and an attempt at concealing an eye roll. “You might be able to but I'm not leaving you with some-” Pausing to gesture indescribably at the pink man. “guy.” Offense was more than just in his eyes, it placed itself in the way he stood up. Easily towering over her. “Tsk, what you trying to say.” “See?” As if all was proven by the way he shadowed her like a bad curse.
ahvfjvas
ANYWAYS! Basically, it goes into college boy Sukuna learning how not to be a big shit while possibly falling for someone who won't love him back while still blowing their back out. Also, he has to share, because I say he has to share even though we all know he can not share for the life of him.

Tyler Hoechlin- Our Love
Meeting The Family & Families Meet
2nd July 2011
Since we are on a break from filming Tyler and I decided that now is a good time to meet each other's family. Since we're still in Atlanta Tyler has been invited to my parents house for dinner. I drive us up the driveway, my mom opens the door before I even turn the car off, obviously she's been sat at the window waiting for us. I turn the car off as Tyler sighs
"Nervous?" I ask
"Yeah a little"
"Don't worry. My mom is pretty chill and my dad makes everyone his best friend. We best head in before mom starts knocking on the car doors" I chuckle opening it up and getting out of the care with Tyler following not far behind me
"Hi mom"
"Hi love"
"Mom this is Tyler, Tyler mom"
"Mrs YLN it's lovely to meet you" Tyler shakes moms hand after giving her some flowers
"Oh don't call me that, sounds way to formal. Call me YMN. Come on in dinner will be another 15 minutes. Your dads in the living room"
"Ok" I take Tyler's hand and walk him into the living room where my dad is watching baseball "dad, this is Tyler my boyfriend" dad slowly looks towards us not wanting to miss anything
"Well don't just stand there, sit. You like baseball?"
"Err yeah I used to play actual" Tyler nervously says sitting down
"What team?"
"I played at university, UC Irvine Anteaters. Haven't played for a while
"YN why don't you go get us all a beer"
“Sure dad” I lean down and kiss Tyler on the head before leaving for the kitchen.
Mom and I have to pry dad and Tyler away from the TV. They’re getting on like a house on fire which is amazing, not that I thought they wouldn’t. Tyler tells my parents about himself, we talk to them about Teen Wolf, Comic Con and anything else we think of. Dad and Tyler talk more about baseball.
Tumblr media
6th July 2011
It’s now my turn to meet Tyler’s parents and siblings. We had to get a flight from Atlanta to LA. I’m super nervous, not only about meeting Tyler’s parents, but the fact we will be staying over at their house it’s terrifying to me. We’re currently in the Uber on the way to his parents house. Tyler places his hand on my knee which I now realise is jiggling up and down with nerves
“Sorry” I breathe out
“You’ll be fine, promise”
“What if they don’t like me?”
“They will” Tyler then takes my hand in his, lacing our fingers together and gives it a squeeze.
When we arrive we walk up the drive. Tyler gives me one last squeeze before knocking on the door. Holding on to our shared bag. We only have to wait a moment before the door swings open and we are invited in
“YN this is my mom Lori, my dad Don, older brother Travis, older sister Carrie and then the youngest Tanner” I shake hands with everyone
“Hi it’s nice to meet you all”
“It’s nice to finally meet you as well” Lori says smiling
“Yeah. Tyler’s not shut up about you. Feel like I have already met you” Carrie chuckles
“Oh really?” I raised an eyebrow at Tyler who looks sheepish
“Let’s go and get a drink?” Tyler moves me further into the house to the kitchen “what would you like?”
“Just a soda will do”
“So YN do you have any siblings?” Lori asks
“No I’m an only child”
“Must be nice” Tanner shouts from the living room. Tyler rolls his eyes
“Alright thank you” Tyler shouts back handing me a drink
“Thanks”
“How did your parents get on with Tyler”
“I think my dads in love” I joke “they definitely bonded over baseball”
“Your dads a fan?” Don asks
“Most definitely”
“What about you?”
“I enjoy watching it, I’d happily go to a game but my dads on another level”
I don’t know why I was so nervous meeting Tyler’s family. Don cooked us a meal in the evening which was so good! We drank, played a few card games before we all went to bed.
Tumblr media
27th July 2011
I wake up the the smell of food cooking. Slowly I get out of bed and head to the kitchen where Tyler is stood at the stove shirtless, because I’m wearing it
“Morning” I sleepily say
“Good morning. Happy birthday baby”
“Thank you” I smile sitting down at the island in my kitchen top
“I have the whole day planed” Tyler places a plate of food in front of me
“Ooo have you?”
“I have. First your going to eat your breakfast, we’re going to take a shower
”
“We’re?” I raise my eyebrows
“Yes we are. Then we’re going to have a romantic walk in the park before we head to dinner, then this evening we’re going for a few drinks with your parents and mine”
“Your parents are coming?” I ask gobsmacked
“They were the ones to ask. Plus they wanted to meet your parents”
“Holy shit this is like serious” I now realise. Mine and Tyler’s relationship is getting to the serious stage, panic sets in, are we moving to fast?
“Hey” I look at Tyler who takes my face in his hands “calm down. I know your overthinking right now”
“Sorry”
When our parents meet they thankfully both get on really well. Everything just feels so real. Like obviously our relationship is real, but now it’s almost solidified. Everyone knows, except our fans, guess we will have to do that soon, but for now we are happy just being in our own little bubble and something about hiding this from the public is kinda exciting.

not prev but now I'm hooked with your Diantha/Sycamore are siblings headcanons, please share moređŸ„ș
You got it anon the Carnet/Sycamore siblings are my fave to write stuff for hahaha
Anyways
‱Augustine definitely used the "my sister is the champion and she can beat your ass!" card during his teen years lets be real (tho there are times where he actually still uses that on the present day)
-in my aus Dia became champion when she was 16, so when she got custody of Sycamore no one really questioned her bc ofc, she's strong enough to be Champion, she can take care of her brother
-she honestly struggled raising him but she never showed it when he's around
‱Augustine's partner pokemon in my aus is Garchomp
-Diantha is actually the one who gave him Gible just as he started his journey
-Augustine was kinda late since he started his journey around 14
-so before his 14th birthday, Diantha went above and beyond, getting him a Pokedex, buying a badge case, a new backpack, some pokeballs, potions, etc, the usual things that trainers get at the start of their journey
-she did work extra hard to get the money to get him those things tho, but for her it was worth it
-and yeah the only other thing missing was his starter pokemon
-at first she wanted to give him a Ralts, maybe he'd raise it to be a Gallade, but she decided against it, saying that it feels like she's trying to make him a mini version of herself and she'd rather not want that for her brother
-so she looked around Kalos, trying to find the perfect pokemon to be his starter
-no luck tho, it's almost six and she still hasn't found the perfect one, until this Gible went to her and Gardevoir, running around them and playing w Garde
-it was all fun and games, and Dia decided to ask it if he wants to come home w her, and meet someone that would really love playing with him, that would help him become stronger
-ofc, the Gible was ecstatic, and happily went to the pokeball
-and yeah, on the day of his birthday, Augustine unwrapped his presents and was so happy to see all the new gear he has, but then looked at her going "this is great and all, Dia, but.. I don't have a pokemon yet Ăł-ĂČ"
And Diantha smiles at him and softly hands him a PokeBall and just "of course you do, love"
He opens the pokeball and out comes Gible, jumping up and down, running around their table, and Augustine caught him when he jumped towards him, both laughing and was so happy to be w each other
Augustine was tearing up all "a Gible! My own pokemon! My very first pokemon!"
"that's right, and now you can finally go on the journey you dreamt of. You can find out more about the pokemon of our world, isn't that what you always wanted?"
"yeah! It's everything I ever dream about! And thanks to you I can finally start my journey! Thank you so much, Dia!"
And Augustine runs up to her and gives her the biggest hug he could w Gible still in his arms, and Diantha is there just smiling softly at him, kissing the top of his head, saying "show them just how bright you shine, my darling"
Augustine pulls away looking at her w a teary smile, but he nodded, pulling Gible close, "of course, I will! I'll make you proud!" And yeah he gathered all his stuff and finally started his journey, bidding her farewell as he and Gible went on their way
And hey, Dia's there, watching as he starts to go further and further away from her, finally off to live his dreams and discover more abt pkmn, and she smiles to herself, whispering "I'm already so proud of you"
And yeah that's all for now hahaha

Do you have any ideas for a reader with a kid / kids back home? How would the chain react to that?
*So I originally didn’t have a lot of thoughts about this.
BUT after seeing your ask I’ve started to have some!
However I do have to say that through this ask I’ve discovered I’m not exactly comfortable writing Reader with a biological kid.
I’m really sorry!!
So I hope you don’t mind if I twisted your ask a little bit. Basically Reader is gonna be taking care of a kid but they’re like Reader’s sibling, their niece, or a kid Reader babysits.*
Now this can go two ways for either scenario.
One, the kid comes with Reader through a portal.
Or two, the kid is left at home whilst Reader goes through a portal.
For the scenario where the kid comes with Reader I don’t think the older members of the Chain are gonna be too affected by the kid, even when they become yandere for Reader.
Simply put, the kid isn’t gonna be an obstacle for them and they certainly aren’t competition.
However the same can’t be said for a certain young teen in the group. Wind.
Wind is definitely gonna be jealous of the kid (doesn’t matter how old or young the kid is). For one, HE wants to be in the younger brother/sibling spot, HE wants to be the one with most of Reader’s attention.
So the other kid being there? Yeah, that’s a no bueno for Wind. He’s a jealous little thing who already has to share Reader’s attention with the older Chain members, he ain’t about to share even more of Reader’s attention with another kid.
He’s kinda like the older child when they suddenly get a younger sibling. They’re jealous and they don’t want to share.
However, I feel like if Reader put their foot down Wind would try to get along with the kid. It’s definitely gonna take a while, and the jealousy is still gonna be there at times. But Wind promises to get better for Reader.
Also so that Reader will go back to spending time with him.
Back to the rest of the Chain.
With a kid in tow, the Chain’s gonna become even more protective of Reader. With Wind, they know he’s capable of taking care of himself. He’s gone on his own adventure and come out victorious.
But this kid? This kid won’t know anything, ergo Reader’s gonna be more protective of them, ergo Chain’s gonna be more protective of Reader AND the kid (one because they’re a kid and two because Reader cares for them).
ALSO
Reader’s sibling/niece/kid they babysit can be of use to the Chain when gaining Reader’s favor.
They’re gonna be interrogating the little kid about ALL of Reader’s interests.
“Would [Name] like this? How about this?” “Hey what’s [Name]’s favorite color? What’s their favorite flower?” Even “Have they had any past lovers? What do you think they’d like in a person?”
Hell I think Warriors would throw in a “Can you put a good word in for me squirt?” I can just fricken see it, my lord 😂.
Plus I think Time, Sky, Twilight, and Wild would be helping Reader out a LOT with the kid and keeping them company. I think they’d be the members of the Chain to adore the kid the most (HAVE YOU SEEN THEM INTERACT WITH KIDS! UGH)
Sky’s helping get the kid to bed on time, making sure they’re okay and comfy enough. Offers to let the kid and Reader sleep next to him so they can feel safer in the night.
Wild helps with getting the kid to eat. Y’know how kids can be, they don’t want to eat certain things because the food looks or smells weird. Plus if the kid and Reader are from the modern world it’s gonna be hard exposing to the kid that they can’t have chicken nuggets or McDonald’s.
That’s where Wild can come in. Maybe he even lets the kid help him out with cooking (only with the safe side of things!! He promises!!).
Time and Twilight I can see definitely helping out with getting rid of the kid’s energy. Time offers to play games with the kid whilst their sitting by the campfire or while they’re on the road when the kid’s restless. Time also shows fairies to the kid and let’s be honest the kid’s gonna love them.
Twilight tells the kid tales from his home and his adventure. He especially tells the kid about the friendly wolf that appears and helps the Chain out sometimes. He also tells the kid to be on the lookout for said wolf since he has a feeling Wolfie will appear soon.
Of course all of this comes down to Reader appreciating the Chain a lot more and feeling honored that the Chain is willing to help them out.
Also whilst those four are busy keeping the kid company, you can bet Legend, Four, Hyrule, and Warriors are helping Reader get some relaxation whilst spending time with them.
However I also feel like Four and Hyrule would spend time and help out with the kid. Four would introduce the kid to the Minish and whatnot. Meanwhile Hyrule would show the kid his fairy form and help them get up to a little mischief (Time would also help the kid pull pranks on the Chain).
*Sorry again, but I hope this little twist made up for it!*

El WooWoo Wednesday! Thank you @confused-bi-queer and @larkral for the tag.
Yesterday started out terribly with me having a breakdown during a meeting at my job (oof) but it ended on such a high note. I don’t really share where I live on the internet (anymore) cause ya know internet security but now I kinda wish I did cause I mentioned several times that I organised a week filled with queer events and my big event was yesterday and I am still high on energy. I was so nervous beforehand but it went really well and the actress we invited was super chill. People also complimented me and said I didn’t seem nervous at all so +1 self-esteem there.
Gah, it was so good.
Apart from that, no writing is happening. Like I said I had a wee breakdown because I’d been living with constant stress for the past 1.5 weeks, partially due to the events, but also my studies, including my thesis. How’s my thesis going? It’s going. I am almost done with the analysis but it’s still very hard and frustrating and there is a lot of second guessing.
And of course, when I am not being Responsible, I am playing Zelda. I actually gave some more thoughts to the Zelda fic idea that I shared on Monday, but I’ll once again put it under the cut for spoilers.
And now, the weather: @quizasvivamos @blurglesmurfklaine @coffeegleek @esperantoauthor @otherworldsivelivedin @caramelcoffeeaddict @sillyunicorn @bazzybelle @dragoneggos @raenestee @tectonicduck @nightimedreamersworld @urban-sith @thnxforknowingme @captain-aralias (congrats on the baby!!!) @you-remind-me-of-the-babe @takitalks @justgleekout @cerriddwenluna @tea-brigade @ivelovedhimthroughworse @moodandmist @whogaveyoupermission @bookish-bogwitch @aroace-genderfluid-sheep @ionlydrinkhotwater @1908jmd @special-bc-ur-part-of-it @chen-chen-chen-again-chen @cutestkilla @nausikaaa /@wellbelesbian @artsyunderstudy @martsonmars @facewithoutheart @shrekgogurt @boyinjeans @rockitmans @bitbybitwrites @blackberrysummerblog
Okay so I reread Any way the wind blows and I forgot that Aryll is fucking 110 in that fic. That’s old! I mean, she had to be old cause the Calamity happened a hundred years ago AND Aryll needed to be old enough to properly remember her brother, but damn.
Now, I actually don’t know how many years are between Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. We do know that Link is 17/117 in BOTW. Time has clearly passed, since children have grown up and places have changed. One change is that Link is an adult who can now drink alcohol at the bar in Gerudo Town (lmao). Someone (who also organised the aforementioned queer event) looked up the legal drinking age in Japan, which is 20, so does that mean there’s 3 years between the games?
That would make Aryll 113. If 110 was already pushing it, then 113 is really pushing it. Aryll was already weak and old in my fic, but man. So when the pirates attack Lurelin, is she still alive or did she die from old age? It’s established that Hylians have a human lifespan. But say she is alive in TOTK, then damn how will she flee Lurelin? Will Kiana and co. take her with them? But Aryll will have a lot of problems traversing through Hyrule. Even Faron is already difficult to traverse since it’s a big forest.
BUT
BUT
What if.... after Link and Aryll reunite..... and Link saves Zelda....... and Zelda sees the situation.............. Zelda goes to Purah. Purah reversed her age with Sheikah tech. And sure, it went a bit too far and she became a literal child, but she’s a teen/young adult now. This also kinda fucks up the 3 years idea, but also this is Purah so I won’t be surprised if she now sped up some aging in order to reach the age she wanted. What if, between games, Purah reverses Aryll’s age to match Link’s? Hmmmm. HMMMMM. Again, I’m just mumbling. I don’t know if this is a Legit Fic Idea, but I like to think about it.

Ok every time I start to write your name, I almost type “Fanta” which I find hilarious. It’d be a cute nickname!
Tumblr media
(Cherry best flavor)
ANYWAY. Back on track. I am curious if you have any head-canons for Annalise and her role to play in the story? What is her character like to you? I am very curious 😈
Never thought some would compared my nickname as a soda xD (a YouTuber I used to follow is named like that too)
But anyway, Annalise ! I don't have too much too (because you know my brain is way much concentrated on always the same stuff but here's the few ideas/headcanons I got :)
Tumblr media
I already talk about it, but for me this, is a younger Annalise.
So what she's like hm ? (I'm not sure XD) I mean if we look at the source materials she can be a bit mean if you don't do what she wants x) she sure have a LOT of pride. It's understandable she's the queen ✹ after all. But she's one of the few npc who don't want to hurt us too (that's kind of an accomplishment in Bloodborne & soulsborne games) & if we behave accordingly she can be quite sympathetic towards us.
But she's definitely not innocent and probably have bloods on her hands (less than a lot of people but still) I feel she might have order really dark things to get blood dregs and have the church against her But still... she lost so much too... I really feel bad for her... And I think she's kinda in denial... like how can you not go completely crazy after what happened ?!
But perhaps in her youth it was more different. Still with a big ego but perhaps quite caring too, who wants the best for Cainhurst, her family and all. Pretty sure she was quite good in politics, reasoned and have a really good prestance. And you know all the things a XIX century princess was supposed to do/know I guess. I mean ok everything she wears is a bit outdated. But like everyone seems to wear 1700s clothes in this damn castle. Oh and pretty sure she had good relationship with Byrgen, the church, Laurence, the hunters too maybe help them with their own expeditions too ! Maybe Logarius too. Before everything went down at least...
---
I think she used to have a good relationship with Maria ? Even if they didn't agree all the times she understood that Maria couldn't just be locked in Cainhurst and that another way of life fit her better. And Even if she was originally supposed to become one of her personal bodyguards/royal guards ("a shadow" of the queen like I call them hehe). Also, she always have an excuse and wise words for Maria rebellious teenage years x) And yeah they're cousins or smt similar in my main interprets and basically grow up together even if Annalise is a few years older.
I need to mention my oc Vledemyr too (still not sure of the orthograph help) basically Maria's cousin? almost the same age as Anna/bit older who became her bodyguard, then the chief of the royal guards later. Her closet friends and he's always been quite overprotective of the 2. Like an older brother to Maria and really want the best for /protect Annalise. He's really dedicated. (He's the mvp too).
Her mother died when she was young (but like not too young? between childhood/pre teens ?? yeah lot of people dies...) so not always easy. She likes her father too but you know he kinda let things just pass and happened too...and being really active.
Need to talk a bit about her husband too, but not too much it's not the subject (I mean... should i finally share his name and what he did to be king?! I don't remember if I already share... (I love this smart idiot so much, she do too). Yeah she actually really care about him. She knows he wants even more to restore Cainhurst power (for the honor of cainhurst blabla), he went to the chalices to find lot of things (statues, the ring...) and is doing a lot for her that she acknowledge. And to finishes with the relationships. I need to mention of course the bloody crow of Cainhurst ! I hesitated for a while but it's not Vledemyr...BUT there's a link somewhere.
But first, when she became "immortal" ( like the great one I guess? you live really long, don't really decomposed and your soul can't die but your body can die/be destroyed??) so yeah cool, as such she wasn't really stressed out to have an heir at the beginning. (And she got relatives that could take after her just in case but there's one relatives she know wouldn't want that to happened at all...) but still I feel she really wanted to eventually have one, and in their own way ascend like the pthumerians wanted to do. + have a family kinda. I guess the child of the immortal queen would be quite powerful and such an event don't you think ?
But... It didn't work... I mean she either have huge difficulties to fall pregnant / or don't manage to have a pregnancy going to term... either because of natural physiology or maybe the forbidden blood itself... king fell awful about it... she blames herself, he blames himself... that's why I think it took a few decades to have the child of blood with all blood dregs and all ! (sure took lot of times and researches) (ultimately it didn't work too but it could have if well you know... 😔) ((yeah love drama and sad stuff T_T that's maybe a bit dark too I'm really sorry...)
So in the meantime to compensated, she passed a lot of time with well... baby Crow ! (that I call Voron if I remember. I let you guess what it means. And literally everyone was crazy with him when he was a baby. Some much hc about him now thanks to you Crow!!!) Who's actually the son of a close relative (no telling yet hehe). She even made him some kind of heir of Cainhurst until she get could got hers, in case smt. happened. (Crow is a prince and rightful heir to Cainhurst hello ?! wouldn't that be cool?!)
---
And when you ask me about her role ? Like in the stories in my head XD ? Well it's not a really big role at the beginning . Until her father (the former king) died and she became queen. Cainhurst was becoming really dusty she wanted to make things moves, make Cainhurst strong again, and the church/byrgenwerth? needed help with the chalices + researches and blood were a good deal. And then they found the forbidden blood... but didn't wanted to gives to much info to Cainhurst to soon... even if that was their rightful inheritance ! So you know one of the scholar leaks some info to the Queen... then stole it and bring it back kof kof 👀 (not telling too much bc it's not the subject but this guy I swear I have a few ideas XD guess what the guy become after lol)
Then things don't move too much but slowly behind the scenes. Cainhurst get in too much with their lost Pthumerians irritate, goes into chalices dungeons, bring back some stuff... but then at some points their views clash with the healing church + maybe begin to kills hunters for blood dregs. At the beginning it's just mad people but maybe at some points it's not anymore so... and then you know they try to have the child of blood but the executioners show up...
Hope it answers you're question ! If you want smt for specific about some subject in particular let me know ! :)
