#i dont think ive watched an anime since i started watching big brother other than the few series i started w my ex #we never finished any of them #we had a list tho #and i feel i should not watch any of those alone! tbh #that was not how i planned to watch them #but i wanna take a little break from big brother at some point #idk for a long time ive considered watching old school iconic anime franchises that have a huge nostalgic following #i'll watch sailor moon someday i swear i might just be 35 by the time i get to it we'll see #my sister in law likes that one #i was watching it w the dogs on adult swim last night #but idk i am kind of intrigued by boy-marketed franchises i knew of as a child but was not extremely familiar with #like bakugan or yu gi oh but i dont have anyone to play those with #i didnt know there was a dragon ball show before dbz that was the only one i had heard of #ive also been thinking about bleach tho.... scandal have so many songs in it #and my ex never wanted to watch that one bc its so long #shut up kaily

The independent religious bookstore is the only place you can go on an overpriced shopping spree and feel good about it.

#i was going there to get a baptism gift #(guess who gets to be godmother again!)#(those girls are going to be getting identical presents their whole life)#i went with a crucifix for the baptism present since their statues are very picked over #and the godfather already got one for her (kind of) patron saint #i also got a holy card for her definitely patron saint #and a blanket that was way too expensive but it was pink and guardian angel and also had her name #so it's like it was made for her baptism #and then there was a gorgeous nativity set advent wreath for 75% off so that's for me #plus two 75% off slightly damaged children's book versions of the christmas story #so there's a christmas present for both goddaughters #then a book about catholic motherhood for my sister-in-law since i have her for secret santa #and then i threw in an advent devotional that looks pretty good #i wasn't even trying to buy stuff it all just jumped out at me #but when you're buying from the cute friendly old lady you don't even feel bad about buying more than intended #i feel kind of bad having her wrap the crucifix for me #but also i can't turn down the nostalgic joy of having your present gift-wrapped at the shop #i think that 'gift-wrapper at department store' is one of my nostalgic obsolete dream jobs

hey! thank you for checking up on me, this was really sweet!

i SWEAR i did not die. i just got a bit busy doing SladeRobin Week (which i will finish so help me god-) as well as things in my real life. i'm still trying to find the balance of like. fandom creation and working. i am very lucky to have the living situation that i do rn, but it is the sort of schedule where i do have to be ready to watch a baby at really any given point so. it's a tricky balance right now, but i'm going to be active here again! maybe not as many asks answered a day as before, but i want to try to answer like, a few a day and whatnot.

i also think i got briefly overwhelmed, in that i got more asks faster than i answered them. which is the opposite of a problem and something i'm very lucky for! but it did make it difficult for me to keep up and know what to answer next. (this is *not* a discouragement to sending asks! i love them all and pls send as many as you want! i just am a little slow sometimes so i appreciate the patience! <3)

Tua has always needed more writers who have siblings to prevent the weird things between the siblings from making it onto the show but I especially think it was needed in s4. You don’t NEED to have a sibling to know why Allison and Luther are a weird couple but to truly understand why 5 and Lila also feel weird you gotta have someone with a sibling writing. Apparently.
