Can someone explain to me how Sofia is already bragging about getting a part? How lucky can one woman get? Maybe she's lying about it? You never know with that one but...ugh, again, how does this happen?

So yeah all I can do is pass time until my own acting debut and that news, whether she's telling the truth or not, is only going to motivate me. She is a friend, for sure, but she really doesn't deserve more than what she has. Have you felt that way about someone? Someone just having a little too much? That's Sofia.

So, I need to keep that woman out of my mind and focus on my own career, which while it might start humbly, it will end with me being one of the best of the best, and it all begins here, in the make up and dressing rooms. Can't say the staff here are the best but what can you expect for a laundry commercial?

And before I get on stage and PERFORM I'm letting my fans keep up with me, all ten of them! We all have to start somewhere, don't we? I think, a year from now, that number will be 100x more, if not even more than that! I think I look good as a pirate!

"Yo-ho-ho and a bottle o' Suds! Dabra's the one that everyone loves! So raise that anchor and set your sails, because Dabra will never fail!" I sing the jingle, with perfection, I might add. Of course at the end of the commercial I must do the thing, you know the thing, you've seen the commercials, probably one too many times...

"So say the magic word, ABRACADABRA! That's the Dabra Detergent Gua-ran-tee!"

Yeah you know what? I think that went pretty well but of course, right? I'm a star in the making!

So yeah, this was a pretty good day! I think once that commercial hits your airwaves you will remember it, you'll remember that little jingle, it'll wriggle itself into your ear and stick in your mind and you too will be buying Dabra Detergent! ABRACADABRA!

After showering I get a call from Phi and I let her know that really everything has gone pretty well. She's really excited for me but lets me know that she hopes she can get her life going too. I think she can if she just, you know, gets up and does something about it.

As for me, I actually have a date tonight with someone I met on that dating site, by the way...

So I head to the nearby bar since that's where I'm supposed to meet this guy, Armino or something? Yeah, for whatever reason he's not here so all I can do is order a drink and wait. I'll give him twenty minutes max.

But eventually he does appear, taking the seat next to me and introducing himself as Arminio Cotta. He has a pretty full beard and he immediately apologizes for being late and blames his work for that.

So we find a seat deeper into the bar and away from the bar as you know it can get pretty crowded there. At first we are feeling each other out, wanting to know how much of our profile is true and what is fake. This guy had said he was successful and I'm not sure what he means by that so I am blunt and just ask.

"Oh," he starts, "Well, can I say that it's partly a lie?"

"Uh oh," I reply.

He laughs and waves away my concerns. "It's just that success to me is the work you put in every day to get better. No, I'm not a simbillionaire, or even a simmillionaire, but I work like I will become one and so that's what will happen."

"Oh..." now that is something I can vibe with. "I like that, you know that one day you will get there-"

"It is no guarantee but...I think there is a 90% chance that a year from now, maybe a little more, I'll be the richest man in the world!"

"I can dig it!" We all do have our dreams!

"And what about you?" he asks, eying me down. "I'm glad you're not a cat fish. You look exactly like your profile picture. Hard to imagine a woman like you being single."

"Oh umm...I guess i'm just picky."

"I've always wanted a woman like you," he says, and that raises my brow. I know he's about to say something that is going to ruin this date, I can just feel it. "Aspiring actress, model pretty, making everyone around me jealous. There is one issue though-"

"Oh?" I'm entertaining this right now because why not? In my mind he's already a hard no, I may as well leave this date with a story to tell.

"Your breasts, they are a little on the small side. I imagine in your line of work you've been asked to upgrade them? How are you going to win parts when your competition is working with, hmmm, a little more?"

"Alright, Ammo, I'm out," lets hope my next date goes a little better.

Back in 2021 I began playing the Pence family. A Sims4 family, created and shared with me from @thelastairsimblr ; featuring Daryl Pence, his older brother Chad, their father Frederick and Frederick's mother Raquel Pence. Over the next few weeks and months, I hope to start posting the 2nd Generation of the Pence Family, featuring Daryl Pence and Tatsuo's son Kel Pence.

Kel is a young adult, moving into the Alpha Sim Phi Frat House in Britechester, and in his 2nd year at the University.

Kel, having the Painter Extraordinaire Aspiration, is currently majoring in Art History and is also working as a pallet cleaner for the San Sequoia Art Gallery Studios. He is an expert artist, both in painting and photography. His dream is to have his own art studio.

He is creative, loyal and a lover of the arts.

💚📟 Not So Berry Gen 9 & 10 + Neighbors Drama Update 📟💚

Things are getting wild in the neighborhood, and I’m here for it 😆.

Dalibor started dating Diana (from Zero Time Dilemma) — and wow, she’s quickly become my new favorite sim 💕. They now have an adorable daughter, Herta.

Phi is dating Lešek (yes, Hortenzie’s brother 😳), and they have a daughter named Florentýna. So, yep, they’re all relatives now. Small world much? 😂

And then there’s Maxmilian's mom. Seriously, girl, are you not too old for this? She keeps calling every single day like, “Let’s party, Maxmilian!” 😂 Poor Maxmilian is falling asleep on couches at bars, while his mom's still going strong. He’s like, "Mum, I have responsibilities." She’s like, "And I have dance moves!"

Speaking of wild events, Maxmilian, his mom (of course!) and some friends went for a casual lake hangout. At first, it seemed peaceful — until someone suggested skinny dipping 💀. Absolute chaos.

Oh, and the brothers had a chaotic glow-up: Jett grew up with absolutely horrifying CC makeup and terrible hair 🤡. I was shook.

He’s started focusing on his painting skills now, creating masterpieces such as Flirty Cat and Confident Lion—both of which are absolutely awful, but naturally, I put them proudly on the wall 😂

Episode 1.1 ~ Introducing Teresa

This is Phi Suttikul, a woman I met while waiting tables at the old Sunrise Diner, remember that place? The owner was crazy! Martin something? Any ways, the old man owned the place and shut it down to focus on his place in Oasis Springs for whatever reason. Either way, suddenly being jobless has allowed me to finally focus on my dream but it has left a bit of a void for Phi.

"I just feel out of place here," she tells me. "Everyone in this town is chasing fame and everything that comes with it while I'm just...well, here."

"Girl, you need goals! You don't have to be an actress or musician or influencer, just find something to reach for?" I tell her this over and over again because it really does feel like she just moves through each day with little to no purpose. "You've put your resume out there and are getting no job offers at all?"

"Nope, nothing!" she puffs out as if the entire job search has been exhausting for her. I can only imagine. "How about you? Any auditions?"

I give a shrug of my shoulders and wave of my hand. "I might be selling laundry detergent, if I get the part."

She chuckles at that. "Hey, better than nothing? How about Sofia, heard from her lately?"

I give my head a small nod but I admit to having a fully smug smirk firmly on my face. "She thinks being an actress is just about looking the part and is already planning her red carpet walks and outfits."

Hey phi! Long time no ask, but I’ve been following your blog as dutifully as ever. Your annual wrap-up posts are a major highlight of my year, and I always get antsy over the holidays waiting for them.

I was wondering—Did you know that both Kusakawa Takuya from Minato Shouji Coin Laundry and Kashiwagi Haru from Kimi ni wa Todokanai are both in a Japanese boy band called 超特急 / Bullet Train? Their most recent MV, Awa Awa, is really good, IMO, and they both get little chances to shine in it! You should check it out. Thought it was a fun little coincidence that you might enjoy, since I know you loved both series.

Also, wow, I’m super impressed by some of these recent BL series. My top 10 had very little change for a long while, and Cherry Blossoms after Winter sat as my only 10/10 series ever since it came out. But I watched Unknown and Love for Love’s Sake this past week and both joined it in the 10/10 club. Amazing series. (I also adjusted Semantic Error up from 9/10 to 10/10.)

In particular I feel like Unknown captured a lot of the vibes I loved from the original Addicted series that I love but rarely ever get in any other BLs, particularly both leads being fairly manly and even a bit dangerous, and the gritty reality of what life is like for people in poverty. It also both accurately portrayed the feeling of pining after someone you know you can’t have that I experienced in my own life, to the point of almost being difficult to watch in places, but also making the eventual coming together feel logical, and satisfying, and earned. Which is a HELL of a feat, IMO.

And Love for Love’s Sake was just an incredible high-concept BL like I never expected to see. Despite being the country that gave us Semantic Error and others, I wasn’t yet convinced that Korea were the ultimate masters of BL, especially given just how. freaking. much I love Thai BL. But I think Love for Love’s Sake finally put them on the throne for me. (Even if I think it both deserved a sweet lovemaking scene and at the very least, much better kissing than we got. I know they tried at the very end, but…well, let’s just say, they tried.)

If you have any recommendations for shows that are similar to either one, definitely let me know. I haven’t yet watched Our Dating Sim or The Eighth Sense (I know, I know, shame on me), so those are probably my next ones to hit, just sense they’ve gotten such great praise, but I’m open to other ideas.

So glad that Unknown, Love for Love’s Sake, and Semantic Error have made the 10/10 club!

Love for Love's Sake is super unique. The only one recently even kinda in that vein was Jazz for Two although you might like Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo (more in the Unknown style). And if you haven't yet try The 8th Sense.

For Unknown, hum. Nothing springs to mind. Sorry, stepbrothers is so rare. Especially this quality gritty. I mean, The On1y One, of course, but I can't recommend it because of the ending.

“I’m sorry Ant, I would have been here over an hour ago if someone” Gregory briefly turned his head and glared at Hyacinth, “had picked me up to carpool like she said she would.”

“You weren’t there when I came to pick you up, so I figured you had sorted out a different ride,” Hyacinth said, giving him a one-shouldered shrug.

“I literally walked out of my building at five past two,” Gregory countered.

“And I said I would pick you up at two. Not my fault you aren’t punctual Greg,” Hyacinth said with vexing nonchalance.

Gregory rolled his eyes, made his apologies to Kate and Anthony, kissed his mother’s cheek and then sat on an ottoman that faced Hyacinth. Phillip sighed in relief that he didn’t try to sit in the small space left on the couch.

“You know, I’m actually not too upset Hy,” Gregory said, leaning forward and resting his elbows on his knees, “because you’ll never guess who I ran into on the train up here.”

Hyacinth was inspecting her nails, not bothering to look up at Gregory, “You’re probably right Greg. Over twenty million people live in the tri-state area, and as good as my deduction skills are…”

“I’ll just tell you then,” Gregory interrupted with a grin, “I ran into Gareth St.Clair!”

Hyacinth’s head swung to face Gregory and Phillip felt Eloise’s hand on his chest, trying to lean him back as she leaned forward to get a better view of her brother.

“Gareth St.Clair?” Eloise asked, shocked, “Agatha’s grandson?”

“The very one!” Gregory beamed.

Hyacinth returned to her casual posture, “I don’t see why that’s of any interest to me.”

Phillip turned to Eloise and asked in a somewhat hushed voice “Who’s Gareth St.Clair?”
