what did you think the start and the end of story in mha
Hi sorry for the long wait! Work has been very tiring and cold!
So i absolutely love the beginning of mha, and I live Izuku. I’m a very emotional person and cry easy so I connected to Izuku and I also connected to him going for his dream even though he is consider “useless and weak” in the eyes of society
If you had also read my earlier fanfics I was once a fan of redemption for Bakugou but as the story went on, and Bakugou made the apology about him (sorry friends who are fan of Bakugou this is just how I see him as) I just… couldn’t like him. I already had a nasty taste in my mouth about him since I had a couple of friends like him (never did what Bakugou did in the first episode but they made me think they were my friends but after I was consider weird in the eyes of society they dump me) so besides Bakugou pushing himself into the main story, as mha went on I still like it
The ending, I’m neutral on. I have understand why Horikoshi made Izuku a quirkless hero at the end, he had been wanting to do that since the beginning but his editors wanted izuku to have a power, having One For All fade away was his way of making Izuku what he wanted him to be. A quirkless hero. But I had love ofa, and I’m sad that it couldn’t just did what it did with Bakugou in that movie? Just… go back to Izuku at the end of the battle? If it did it once why can’t it do it again. It would had been nice if, ofa can have one last go before fading away when Izuku dies? What all might tried to turn it into. A quirk that can use for heroing, not a weapon against some demon lord wannabe
What I also like is, that the league of villains got consequences. Like I understand they had terrible back stories, that society treated wrong…. But sorry they still murder countless people. Seriously only spinner and maybe compress wanted to change society…. Dabi just wanted to kill his family, Toga… she wanted what she called love but to her that meant becoming the person and killing that person. I mean yeah she saved ochako good for her but still… murder… Shigaraki? Murder, even before afo took over him he murder and murder destroy a whole city. People thinking they would get redemption after that and be friends with the students and help them change society? Like…. What is wrong with you all? I do wish that they didn’t keep Dabi alive artificially like sure say your sorries and all but don’t let the dude who is in constant pain stay alive because you want to try and fix your family.
I knew the ochako x Izuku final ship was coming, and good for them. People being mad about bakudeku not being canon or Izuku saying no to joining an agency with Bakugou… Izuku has his own life to live now, not everything revolves around Bakugou. Let the guy be a teacher!
Anyone I love the show, is there things I would change? Yes but that’s what fanfiction is for. I’m glad that I was introduced to this show because it gave me friends and really started my journey of a fanfiction writer (though I wish my bnha fics weren’t the only fics I got attention to! But I will take them!)

Anybody Else Disappointed With How Hawk’s Been Written Lately?
Tumblr media
(Exclaimer: I still really like MHA & Hawks)
WARNING RECENT MANGA SPOILERS Personally, ever since he killed Twice, Hawk’s character has slowly gone downhill.
It started when there weren’t any moments where Hawk’s feelings on killing Twice weren’t shown. I know he didn’t want to, but seeing Hawks feel the guilt would coincide well with the hero society’s corruption.
Another thing that would’ve been interesting is Hawk’s having mixed feelings on Endeavor after learning about how the latter treated his children. For a long time, Hawks saw Endeavor as a role model like Midoriya and Bakugo with All Might, so I think learning that his hero isn’t so different from his own father would be good character development. Hawks would feel confused on how he should feel about Endeavor for a bit, but will learn to see Endeavor as human after seeing him wanting to atone for what he did. It would be good for the plot too since it’s a parallel to how civilians heavily admire and rely on the heroes while forgetting that they aren’t perfect people.
I don’t like Hawk’s ending. Instead of becoming the new HC president, I would’ve preferred Hawks taking a break from the hero life and learn to live as Keigo Takami. Hawks lived most of life training to be a hero and a tool for the Hero Commission. He deserves to step back. Also, with the Chapter 429 leaks, I didn’t like Hawks new idea with the hero rankings. It doesn’t change the core issues with hero society. I’m going to be hopeful that the last chapter will show positive changes.
Something else I didn’t like was Hawks saying he abandoned his family and should’ve helped. That couldn’t be further from the truth. His parents abused him and his mom abandoned him to the hero commission. Hawks was just a kid. It was also in bad taste when Hawks commended Shoto for forgiving Endeavor when Hawks couldn’t with his parents. This makes it seem like not forgiving your abuser is a bad thing, which it’s not. The main point of moving on with your trauma is to heal from it, not forgive your abuser. If Hawks couldn’t forgive his parents, that’s okay.
I still really like Hawks, but I feel like he wasn’t written to his full potential.

bnha does something so real, it's like "the pain was real and this rage will be known," while also going like "that is true, and because that is true, you need to stop directing your violence to the task of hatred and murder"
honestly breaking the cycle is the most thankless, effective thing a trauma survivor can do

Just disappointed with PART of the concluding arc of the final war of boku no hero, I expected a little more, but the work is not bad in itself, just very dragging, but moments like this are great:

MY HERO ACADEMIA WORLD HEROES MISSION MOVIE REVIEW !!!!!
The movie was amazing, I enjoyed it a lot. MY HERO ACADEMIA WORLD HEROES MISSION was in Japanese with English subtitles.
All the scenes were breathtaking especially all the fighting scenes. When Midoriya, Todoroki and Bakugo wore their new costumes. All the UA students working all around the world. Roro Soul, Lala Soul, Rody Soul, and Pino were great characters especially their story and the adventure with Deku !!! Rody wants to be a pilot and to take care of his siblings. A lot of awesome quirks appeared in this movie. The villain Flect Turn & his organization Humarise was very unique and interesting. The movie went PLUSH ULTRA !!!!! 💥💥💥🤛🏻
THE MOVIE WAS AWESOME !!!!
Ps: Godzilla appeared in only one scene in this movie

Chapter Thoughts — Chapter 390: Todoroki Shouto Rising
O  I wonder if the busted pipes mean Iida’s going to have to go back out to the woods to pull them out so he can grow in a new set?  Yowch.
O  It's really odd to credit this moment to All Might’s chops as a teacher?  Like, I’m hardly the world’s foremost expert on the 1-A kids, but the absolute most I remember All Might doing for Shouto is being an encouraging presence, and for Iida, rather less than that.  Iida’s faster pipes are a result of his family’s knowledge; Shouto’s Phosphor is, as best I recall, largely his own invention.  At most, we might say he went to Endeavor for help getting his fire on par with his ice, maybe as preparation for this very move.  But All Might?  All Might’s Deku’s teacher; in fact, he’s so little focused on the rest of the kids that he wholeheartedly pulls in three of them to teach their moves to Deku with no thought at all given to Deku or himself teaching them anything in return.
All Might’s big advancement in teaching circa the one-hundred-chapter mark was not giving Deku easy answers, but rather giving him a hint*; it took remembering one of Gran Torino’s lines and a visit to the Support Course lab for Deku to figure out that answer.  And maybe I’m just forgetting something, but I don’t remember All Might doing much after that on the teaching front?  Certainly not that actually got extended to Shouto and Iida!
And sure, maybe this is just Tsukauchi being ignorant, but like, credit where credit is due, and while All Might is the one that had the confidence in Shouto and Iida to do what they just did, he damn sure isn’t the one who taught it to them.  Hell, given that he specifically instructed them to go after Dabi, it’s not even in keeping with his aforementioned teaching breakthrough: giving a student a problem and then stepping back and letting them solve it themselves.  Partial credit at best.
O  Sorry, gang, but I just have virtually nothing to say about the big centerpiece.  I appreciate that Dabi’s got at least a semblance of his mind back.  I like Natsuo’s open acknowledgement that the way ahead is choked with thorns.  I have a thin ghost of emotion for Dabi’s hopeless whispers of hatred and Endeavor encouraging him to keep going, because certainly the silence and refusal to grapple with their problems head-on was a huge part of the family’s damage.
All of this, however, is hobbled by the lack of agency in the family choosing this outcome, as opposed to being pushed to it at every turn by outside forces.  Dabi only gets to have a whisper of coherence at the very end, instead of in the middle of the fight when it would have made him more of a challenge to deal with.  Natsuo nods to what should be a fascinating story of the family having to pull together to save Touya (and with him the family's precarious path to recovery) from the future in store for him, but we’re already in the endgame, so I already know we’re not going to get to see more than a hint or two about that fascinating story.
And, of course, the family continued refusing to actively grapple with their problems until the last possible second, only getting here thanks to the plot handing them a load of conveniences, contrivances and work from outside actors that their own actions up to now failed to earn.
I want to care about this, but god, It all just feels like Too Little Too Late.
O  I do very much like that closing image of the Todoroki family alone at the center of the ice, only them and their family issues together in that field of desolate white, but at least all together at last. It's super evocative and visually powerful.
I would also very much like it if they would stay there for a while.
O  GOOD LUCK, TOGA.  So far you’re the only one League member who’s been in control of yourself mentally for this whole fight, and I would really, really like it if you could hang onto that.
--------
* Note that he immediately walks over to Kirishima and gives him very concrete advice about just breaking through like a bulldozer, not any kind of “hint” at all.  All Might’s gotta save his ‘A’ material for his protégé, I guess.

Harry Potter sucks ass.
The main characters have no meaningful flaws, the worldbuilding is dogshit and there is no thematic maturation.
and that's just talking about the really big problems: the ones arcing from the start of the series to the end.
