Like, maybe at first Emmet appears to be handling it masterfully. Being more level headed than the subway workers who are panicking more. For a little too long actually.

At the end of the first month he suddenly doesn't show up at work, prompting Irida to go to his home and check on him.

The guys a mess. Turns out a month has been the longest the twins have ever been apart, like, in their lives. So looking at the calendar and realizing the record has officially been overcome is what caused him to finally crack and burst into tears.

The greenhouse is officially in spring mode :) It’s still too cold here to start seeds, but my mum brought me some seedlings she started on her balcony and I also visited someone in the village who advertised that they had young lettuce & tomato plants for sale.

I planted some stuff in the aquaponic towers and some in the normal planters, I’ll see what works through trial and error. I’m particularly impatient to see if I can grow strawberries in the vertical towers, because the strawberry plants I tried to grow in soil in previous years were decimated by slugs... (Despite my courageous army of slug scarecrows)

I’ve removed most of the winter plants in the towers, save for the indomitable parsley + my peas which are almost ready for harvest!

Pirlouit is extremely interested every time he sees me get busy in the greenhouse, he knows when I remove a plant there’s a good chance I will let him have a taste.

This might be the last photo of him I post for a while, because he has also entered spring mode—he’s starting to shed his winter coat unevenly and will look very mangy for a few weeks!

Pandolf is also looking very unfluffy because he refused to spend the afternoon with me in the greenhouse despite the pouring rain.

There’s no convincing him that being in a dry, warm greenhouse that smells lovely and green is better than splashing around in the mud with llama friends that smell like wet wool socks.

Thinking about soapghost working out together between missions to keep each other from slacking off, them doing stretches beforehand at the barracks gym late at night, and that's when they both realize that Simon is extremely flexible while Johnny.... is not.

Like they're doing leg stretches sitting across from each other on a training mat and Simon's nearly doing a horizontal split, hands wrapped over the bottoms of his socked feet, while Johnny's legs barely form a 45° angle and his hands rest on his shins, unable to even reach his ankles.

...Cue Simon scooting closer and planting his feet on Johnny's ankles and beginning to push his legs apart while Johnny hollers and curses Scottishly at him. (Simon notes with amusement that he doesn't try to escape.)
