As a kid, I recall that I was only able to watch certain types of shows. Disney Channel and Nickelodeon were completely off-limits, bc 1, we didn't want to have to pay for it, and 2, they taught "bad morals". Which meant the only content I consumed was PBS Kids

And hey, I'm not complaining about that. PBS Kids really and truly is a good channel, I give it credit to the person I am today. But if you were thinking that Nick and Disney were the only ones, oh no no, my parents' disapproval extended to other things

I was a really big fan of "Ever After High" when I was younger, and one time I invited a friend over to watch it with me. My mom walked in, wrinkled her nose, and asked us to change it. Later on, when I asked why, she said that the girls were too skinny and wore too much makeup

Which. I understand, it's important for young girls to not have self-esteem issues early on, but like

It's Ever After High. It has good lessons, if you're so worried about a bad influence, just tell them the body types are unrealistic and watch it with them. Easy. No need to shut it down for years and years lol

If, hypothetically, Percy was ever put in a situation where she has no (absolutely NO) way to save all her yan children which group of kids would she choose to spare amongst the yan children?

Chances of survival (which group of Percy’s children is she most likely to chose all the way to least likely):

1: Anthonius kids (obviously)

2: Apollo kids- okay so I actually have a reason for this!!! Personally from what I can remember of past asks. Of all Percy’s children the Perpollo kids are the most likely to not turn out complete psycho’s like the rest of the yans because their dad actually raises them like a normal parent would. Apollo has experience with raising children too! And almost all of them were raised to be decent people. So their kids will have the most stable (as stable as it can get for a god I mean) household out of all the yans and are the least likely to be overly violent and sadistic.

3: Anubis kids- same as above^ honestly I think that Anubis’s kids will be pretty chill most of the time, like their father (unless extremely provoked), and stay pretty low key. They might be a little spoiled because Anubis seems like the type but not overly so. Like Apollo he also has experience so I think that their kids will turn out better than the other yans kids and I can’t see Percy as being the type to hate her children solely for their father’s actions towards her

4: Hades Kids- same as above.

5: beelzebub Kids- this is where things start to get…interesting. Percy loves all her kids but I’d imagine her kids with beelzebub will have it rough in a situation like this because if their anything like Beel… I’d imagine that they flip flop between cruelty, sadism, and/or indifference

6: Poseidon kids-bruh💀💀. With the way Poseidon be raising kids Percy would be lucky if they weren’t all sadistic monsters. She’d love them DEEPLY (I just don’t think she would LIKE them very much, you know?)

hi. this is my dnd character for toonkind dnd that i first made 7 years ago that ive recycled twice now because i wanted to finally play an ongoing campaign with him. for his third life, not only did i give him a design update, hes also has undergone a MAJOR overhaul in terms of personality and backstory tho i kept some bare basics the same (human ranger with urchin background who LOVES swords and knifes A LOT. and that he has an ambiguous age) the overhaul includes the isekai. and that hes a cunt now. but hes funnier now too lol.

so like if it isnt obvious the double isekai is meant to mirror the fact that i fucking played with him in 3 separate campaigns now. its part of him metatextually now lol. he was such a different guy tho. an EXTREMELY LOYAL guy. now hes significantly more selfish. and rude as hell. but hes not that to be mean or malicious. hes actually a pretty nice guy hes just extremely inconsiderate bc he prioritizes his own wellbeing most of the time. its how he had to grow up

he wouldve been a fucking gamer otaku fr. he got isekaied in the mid 2000s and as a kid he fucking LOVED watching dragonball on saturday mornings. if he got to be a teen on earth, he would eventually found the anime and gaming subcommunities online BUT ALAS. he grew up trying to catch fish with his bare hands. or at least he did until he gave up quick and ate weeds.

he wandered the woods trying his best to survive alone and in spite of everything trying to kill him (including the shit he ate...) he ended up in a nearby(?) town and things got a bit easier after that. because he could fucking steal to eat real food now. he stayed in the woods on the outskirts of town bc no one showed grace to a thief and just dropped in every so often to swipe shit. steadily he learned forage (through sheer trial and error)

he was highkey a menace. but eventually in his late teens, a traveling party gave him an idea to like fucking. get a job. as something. he managed to make it work as a ranger/guide for hire

he fucking loves booze. he absolutely underage drank. when he could steal it. and later pay for it. and also even though he could pay for things as an adult, he still steals shit if he thinks he can get away w it (he has an absurdly (or at least pretty) high sleight of hand stat)

before he got isekai'd a second time, went through a CATASTROPHIC DIVORCE with an elf woman who he met in an expedition party who became enamored with him after he saved her life. the uh. fallout happened bc blade didnt realize (and still hasnt realized) that hes kinda aro (fundamentally did not understand her romantic intentions and thought she was just a friend wanted to hang out w him a lot. those were dates.) and his ex didnt realize how onesided it was bc she was so love with him. geez.

also. he was from arizona. hes half white half mexican. but with all the time spent not speaking spanish in a different fucking world, it made any spanish speaking skills he had atrophy to hell. it happens and it was bound to happen bc he was so young and had like no reason or opportunity to practice.

also he chose his name. he hated his lame ass name so much he was like "wait. i dont have to use it anymore." but he was 13 fucking years old. anyways he thought blade sounded cool for a name. knifedad happened later when he got his first knife. he still had a bad naming sense. he was 14.

also although his ethics are kinda wack, whats important to note is that he ultimately doesnt want anyone to like. die. its like his policy. save people that he can while trying his best to not die himself

he also has a soft spot for kids. whether hed bc a good dad is debatable but like. i think hed be a nice one

most important note: his longsword is named Darla, his dagger is named Samantha, the knife in his pack is named Nicky, and his newly acquired strange glowy sword is named lucia, and he wants a cool greatsword very very very fucking bad

i drew him in his under clothing also so that i could have a better sense for his body type when i designed his new outfit im adding it here too. he has a shitton of scars bc hes the type that pisses ppl off that they wanna shank him and also he routinely eats shit a lot. a lot of the scars in this sketch are pretty random except for one specific injury for a certain backstory event i have in mind

lim has Thalassophobia which means fear of deep water, he can go in the water till the knees but not the whole body, he also don't know how to swim-

Lim doesn't know much about outside world or outside danger, ever since he were adopted by horrible people till 17,he been slaved and locked in the house with no permission to go out, he only know some stuff from the tv and the people who raised him(which is in terrible ways)

When I told that lim been thru "many type of abuse/torture" you can expect the very worst one (I won't say because it's a sensitive topic about something that happened to me and I also don't like to talk about it)

Watching "it's a Jersey thing". I am beyond confused and in disbelief as to what prompted Cartman to say that

"Deep down you're a monster, but you're my little monster" line.

My working theory is that part of the reason Cartman hates and constantly rips on Kyle for things about him that he can't inherently change, and why he paints a narrative where he assigns those traits a negative meaning even tho they aren't negative in nature is because he is subconsciously annoyed that there is nothing "naturally" negative about Kyle. Kyle is pretty much a well adjusted kid for the most part, but his negative personality traits do come out a LOT when he is interacting with Cartman, but there's nothing about where he 'comes from' that's negative. He has a happy and healthy family, he knows his dad, his parents have respectable jobs, etc.

As opposed to Cartman, who is deluded about being "naturally big boned" which is something for which he is constantly being ridiculed, as well as his mother being a "crack whore" which is also something that he is constantly being ridiculed for. He can't change who his mother is, (and while he could lose weight) he doesn't really believe that cuz like I said he is deluded by his mother into thinking that that's just how his family is.

So when he finds out Kyle is from new Jersey, he immediately jumps to ripping on him about it. Because it's something that Kyle is just "naturally" that everyone in town actually considers to be a negative trait.

But then, when Kyle actually shows that Jersey side to everyone, and it stops being just a way for Cartman to do his usual thing of assigning negative traits to things Kyle is, even tho for once he actually has ground to rip on Kyle for, Cartman is very chill with him.

Almost like, knowing that deep down inside Kyle actually has that "monster" in him brings comfort to Cartman, because now he feels like Kyle is a bit more similar to him.

The "he's just like me fr" of it all.

Or maybe I'm just reaching for the high heavens with this analysis. Who knows.

Her name is Penny (short for Penelope (NOT IT IS NOT A EPIC REFERENCE)) She/Her and she is a “Straight Christian girl” who just so *happens* to have a “special interest” in the HOTTEST girl in school. She lived her life normally, going to school, getting *average* grades, she when to church on Sunday, the whole chick and kabotal :3. Uhhhhhhhhhhhh, she’s in band (cause of course, what do you take me for? A MONSTER?) and she plays flute :D. She had both of her parents together still, a younger brother named David, and a dog named Goober. You could say she basically had a perfect life, to her it was that at least. She had lots of friends, right? I mean, she was basically one of the most popular girls in school. Well, everyone did know penny, and she was the most popular girl in school for YEAR, until one new girl transferred to their high school. Piper was her name, and DAMN did she gain traction fast. She was initially accepted onto the cheerleading team (that didn’t matter to penny as she was in the marching band ✊) and all of the students started paying attention to HER instead of penny. And Penny was 👏M👏A👏D👏. Don’t get me wrong, she has always been in and out of popularity, but something about piper just, AH, but she did know what. After many months of just HATING Piper, she went to go talk to her priest about it. The priest, sounding a bit off from usual, gives her a drink the he says will “calm her down”. She, being told by her mother to always trust the priest, drink the gold-ish drink. Penny feels, find ig? She still DEFINITELY hates Piper, but like, it’s not like a hate hate anymore? She doesn't know how to describe it fully. Anyways she goes home, just, feeling normal per usual. She has dinner with her family, she showers, brushes her teeth, does her whole routine. Something was a little off tho when she started brushes her teeth thought. She had a, tail? No that couldn’t be, she look behind her and it wasn't there. She look back in the mirror and IT WAS THERE AGAIN. “WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON” she said to herself. Just thinking she was so exhausted, she went to bed soundly. The next day she got up LATE in the day. Luckily it was the weekend, so she didn’t really mind. She looked at her alarm clock and it was…. 16:00!!!! JESUS, she normally wakes up at 11 at the latest in the weekends, BUT 4 PM?!?!?!?! She rushed to her bathroom, hoping she wasn't just going crazy, (and to absolutely NO ONES SURPRISE) she looked in the mirror, and her worst nightmare came true. She was a DEMON! She had two long red horns, two scaly wings the size of her arms, and still from yesterday, her tail. She SCREAMED, almost shattering the mirror. Her mother ran upstairs, “honey are you ok?” Said her mom, looking like she just say a ghost. “I’m hideous, oh my god I’m discussing” Penny repeated what felt like a million times. Penny's parents not knowing what the hell to do, take her to the church as that was the last place Penny went to before she went back home. They burst through the church doors, yelling for the priest to help them with there daughter who is sobbing her eyes off. The priest came running out. “Let me take her to the back, I can help her there. You will have to stay here” he states to them, still not fully sounding like himself. He probably just has a cold everyone has been thinking. The priest takes Penny to the back of the church. She stops fully crying, only having a few tears left in her eyes, only to see a SATANIC CIRCLE ON THE GROUND. What was the priest was now a full on demon, looking like he was about to sacrifice Penny! “WAIT, NO PLEASE STOP” she screaming at the demon. “Ooooooooo, so your a screamer huh? The boss is gonna like you” Penny is in absolute shock. The demon can talk? What dose he mean screamer? WHAT BOSS? SATIAN? “WAIT NO, ILL DO ANYTHING, PLEASE” she screams, what feels as if she is ripping her vocal cords apart. The demon freezes, and slowly turns his head towards Penny, with the worlds biggest smirk as if this wasn't his first time doing something like this

the stolen heir thoughts

so apparently people are not liking this book. which icl is a little bit WILD to me because i thought it was brilliant.

but here are my thoughts on why that *might* (emphasis on MIGHT don't come at me if you have some ✨quirky✨ reason for why you didn't like it i literally don't care) be the case.

there will be some spoilers ahead, i will try to limit them, but you guys are pretty unpredictable anyway, just don't say i didn't warn you.

most people reading this duology have come straight from tfota (and if you're not wtf are you doing here, go sit your ass down and read tcp, you demon) and if that's the case, there is a high likelihood you are a reader who idolises jude and cardan and puts them on a pedestal (AS THEY DESERVE ABSOLUTE BEAUTIFUL ICONS.) and you know, although we were warned by holly that this first book would be in suren's perspective, it's not so comfortable to not only be so tantalisingly close to them and not see them (we want our babies back), but to see them, to see this world, to see other characters, too (like oak), through a completely different lens.

i've heard people saying it's flat for that, and i get we're returning to a world, it might feel like holly is just doing some recycling but icl i kinda really love the book for that, and it also seems like a really holly thing to do.

i mean sure, i could have maybe lived without madoc's return, but i also think that it really works.

back to the point tho, for suren, this is a very different world, her relationship with it is different, and the people in it, though familiar to us, are not to her, and i think the main thing to take away from this is to remember that not one of these characters are clear cut heroes or villains. they're people.

jude, to suren, is just a cold, harsh, strategic mortal queen — funnily enough, suren probably didn't get to read tfota, so hasn't experienced jude the way that we have, and the same for other characters that we are familiar with.

i mean think about it, when we read tfota and suren was described as 'creepy' and all that, did we bat an eyelid? no, we accepted it, mainly because we were seeing suren the way that jude and her family were, as a monster girl, whose parents wanted her to marry oak, and we didn't want that. we see it politically, also. when we see this through suren's eyes, all of a sudden, it's heartbreaking, and ofc it is, because she was a child, and she was being manipulated and used, she wasn't saved, she wasn't treated with any sort of love, from anyone.

but jude couldn't give her that love. for so many reasons. but still, that makes her seem like less of a hero (again, not that she was one to begin with.)

and if they're not the heroes anymore, if our way of seeing things suddenly becomes blurrier and less defined, where does that leave them? we feel like everything becomes less stable, because in most books, we're used to the protagonist telling us how we should feel.

so it feels like the possibility of things going south for our favourite characters is all too real, and no one likes that. i hate the idea of jude and cardan not getting their perfect happy ending, whatever that looks like... but i'm not too sure that i want it to look any different to how we expected it: them being in love, high king and queen forever and ever and having lots of children, until they get too old and tired and decide to retire together.

of course, the plot itself also destabilises the chances of this, but i won't go into that in detail here just in case someone with a taste for chaos has decided to read this far (!! i said begone, demon !!)

but here's the thing, like i said, in holly's books, the characters are first and foremost people. jude makes mistakes, does so many horrible things, and tbf in the reading community, we have a bit of a nasty habit of glorifying that, and just saying slay, she's a badass (which she IS, but also guys... murder... bad...?), especially when it's the main character (see the way people still villainize taryn... but that's a whole other discussion.) and what does that mean? it means independence. yes there's mention of fate in the books, but there is independence and true character growth.

now here's the thing. we have a whole other book to come. i doubt that holly is going to leave suren where she is (unless she does which could also be so cool and open up a whole new universe of opportunity for the direction in which elfhame goes and whilst this might be completely evil, i could so get behind that. ANYWAY) why is holly writing suren? what are suren's fears? what is suren's motivation rn? if we examine all of these things, we see that wren is still grappling with all of these things, and that the position she is in right now isn't going to help her or satisfy her.

suren's whole life has been dictated by the greed and megalomania of the people around her. she is suffering because of that exact greed and megalomania. power will not heal her, not like this, at least.

and finally, coming to oak. holly has already played the 'i-don't-want-to-be-king-but-ends-up-being-one-and-a-really-good-one-because-i-didn't-want-to-be-one-in-the-first-place' card with cardan. i don't personally think she's planning on playing it again with oak. i think it's a really clever way of suggesting at it, and reminding us, and showing us what we're used to, but i think oak is being honest. ofc, i also HOPE he is being honest.

there is also the next book's title to think about (the prisoner's throne) but in all honesty, i don't think speculating on that will be worthwhile. holly really could throw anything at us.

i have a couple of other thoughts, about jude and cardan and what might be going on there, but those thoughts don't really sit right with me and aren't really constructive to the happy endings lol so i don't like them and will not be sharing bc i do not have to !! 🥰

all in all, if you didn't like it because of what it suggests for our favourite high king and queen... anything could happen. i trust holly to write a book that truly devastates us all. but i hope that i've also shown you that what she has written is not unjustified. i'm not going to conclude with a what i think will happen, even though i have very strongly suggested it because i don't want to jinx anything... if i'm wrong, i'm wrong, and i'll happily be wrong, though i know my happiness isn't guaranteed...

Elsa mirabel au because fuck it this is the point of my life I am at now

- mirabel gets a gift at 5 years old and its just a copy of elsa from frozen

- everyone excited exploring the giant ice castle that is inside mirabel room

- but that night alma still asks bruno to have a vision. in that vision he something very similar to what the trolls said about elsa in frozen. It's still a split vision still, one side showing mirabel loved and adored for her powers the other showing her powers growing to the point she can't control them and making everyone hate her

- bruno not wanting a similar life for his niece as him he retreats in to the walls

- as mirabel grows so do her powers. ice often sprouting when she does not mean for it to or when she feels anything strongly

- this eventually becomes so damaging to the things around her that alma makes her wear gloves when she is not in her room

- she spends most of her time trying to keep her powers under control

- her parents aren't a big on alma treatment to there daughter but when they bring it up to alma they immediately get shut down

- mirabel often finds a hard time finding her place in the community since most people find her powers destructive and don't her around

- mirabel can still leave the home but she needs to be wearing the gloves

- when she is 8 or so she is playing and she accidentally covers half of that's years crops in snow and isabela has to come fix them

- after this event alma will not allow mirabel to leave the house unless accompanied by someone

- as she got older she did find that kids quite liked her powers especially since they never got to play with snow

- as time went on tho mirabel came more reversed no longer wanting someone in her family constantly puppy guarding her incase she makes a mistake whenever she leaves the house

- her parents are often checking in on her making sure shes okay. Wanting to take her outside for a walk sometimes she'll take them up on there offer but most times she won't

- luisa is often very concerned for her but can never do anything because the amount of jobs she has. Isa has grown somewhat resentful of her sisters (mostly mirabel) since she feels as if they both left her alone with such high expectations (even tho she knows deep down there lifes aren't easy)

- since mirabel is home most of the time she becomes the sorta dedicated babysitter to Antonio when hes born

- causing them to grow close

- one other thing that is different in this au is that at someone gift ceremony they can choose someone to walk with them

- Antonio chooses mirabel

- when it's time for the ceremony and mirabel is about to walk down with Antonio to get his gift some townspeople point out mirabel is still wearing gloves. Alma not wanting to ruin there reputation tells mirabel to take them off

- mirabel spends the whole walk up anxiety ridden almost freezing Antonio hand to her own

- Antonio gets his door and they take a picture but forget mirabel just like in the movie

- mirabel walks outside to see the cracks form and runs to get alma

- when the cracks aren't there and alma says something rude about mirabel ( She goes a little meaner then she did in the film) People start whispering about her and her family looks at her likes shes crazy, she loses it

- she unconsciously pushes a bunch of prickly ice forward causing everyone to look at her as if shes a monster

- everyone ignoring her out burst and going back to the party

- not knowing what to do she runs unknowingly leaving encanto in a eternal winter.

- no one notices since there all in Antonio room until people start leaving and watches as snow falls from the clouds and everything is covered in ice

- furious, alma makes everyone looks for mirabel but no one can find her

- luisa decides that shes going to look for her sister by herself when she tries to the rats her stop and guide her to the walls

- there she finds bruno, bruno over the years had one more vision where he sees both isa and luisa going on adventure out of encanto

- luisa after promising to bring bruno out from the walls once there done with there adventure goes to retrieve isa

- isa is less then willing to help at first until luisa says that it's in brunos vision so there meant to do this

- so they both set out to find there sister

- unknowingly to them camilo and Dolores follow

- meanwhile mirabel has ran to the nearest mountain range where she finally gets to let her powers out. She builds herself an ice castle and is pretty set to live life in isolation

- after walking for quite awhile isa and luisa find where there sister is. They beg her to come back but she refuses until they mention that encanto is stuck in eternal winter. She then agrees to go back and fix it but then never return

- as they walk back they get lost and take longer than expected to get back. During this time they start to bond more as sisters and get closer

- little do they know there being followed by a group of men who has seen mirabel powers and want to use them for themselves

- when there quite close to getting back to encanto there attacked by these men. While there fending them off mirabel accidentally hits both of her sisters with her ice freezing them both soild

- this causes her emotions to go wild causing a huge blizzard taking out the last of the men mirabel cries to her sister statues

- camilo and Dolores who have been following push through the blizzard and are shocked to see what happened and can't even do anything. they don't if they should yell at mirabel or comfort her

- eventually her admiration and sisterly love for her sisters melts them (similar in frozen) and they all come together for a hug

- they return to encanto and mirabel clears the eternal winter. Alma is about to yell at all of them but they stand up to her. all the sisters have come to an understanding of eachother and learn they don't need to live up to her standards

- after the three of them stand up to alma the candle burns brighter than before and all the cracks start to heal. Alma starts to understand that she was the reason the rifts in her family started causing her to reconsider her ways

- the family now makes an effort to try and understand eachother. All of them are able to express there emotions to the fullest extent.

- mirabel gift becomes an endless source of entertainment for all with her beautiful ice shows and ice parks for kids

- luisa sticks to her promise and get bruno out of the walls

- everyone is glad to have the family back together and that they've all become more understanding

rotting in bed reading fanfiction, hanging out with my roommates, or actually being productive and writing for my fics (like i have been the past few days)

• what are your hobbies and how did you get into them?

sports!!! i’ve been playing sports since i could walk. i started out with dance and did that for 14 yrs and i played soccer for 13 yrs. i played volleyball for 1 yr + i absolutely LOVED it. i played softball for 2 yrs and hated it LOL. i wouldn’t call myself athletic exactly, but sports have been such an integral part of my life that i can’t see myself giving them up (tho rn im taking a small break)

aside from that, writing and reading have also been a HUGEEE part of my life. i was never seen without a book as a kid and sadly i don’t read as much as i used to (except for fanfiction). as for writing, i would write short stories as a kid and read them to my parents but i started taking it seriously in 5th grade - which was when i actually started writing fanfiction + also writing religiously.

coraline. the monster high movies. both were my entire childhood and coraline made me rlly cherish the things that i have. i can’t think of any books, but some fanfics have rlly altered my entire brain chemistry.

i will start first!

my name is rurumi and i enjoy spending my free time writing!

some of my hobbies (outside of writing) includes: drawing, building gundams and keyboards, and fashion! i got into most of them on a whim and became instantly hooked. aside from self-expression, being into fashion also helps with making friends in college because you always have something to talk about!

a book that left a lasting impression on me would have to be either kafka on the shore by haruki murakami or before the coffee gets cold by toshikazu kawaguchi. both stories have kept me up at night thinking a lot about the 'what ifs' in life.

i enjoy soul/r&b alongside anything of jrock influence, but i will basically listen to anything that sounds good. i am currently listening to 'so what' by lucy!

my favorite character at the moment is rin itoshi from blue lock because hes so ridiculously edgy, but at the same time i sympathize with him a lot. on the other hand, my favorite character of all time is suletta mecury from the witch from mercury series, she's an absolute ball of sunshine that i aspire to be.

alright so I know literally no one cares about this but it’s my social media I’m doing what I want /lh

I’ve been seeing a lot of slander about justin russo on the internet lately and I’m currently hyperfixated on wizards of waverly place so here’s why justin is an awesome character/doesn’t deserve the hate he gets

He’s kind and treats those he loves well. Justin is canonically really good at comforting people. Although he argues with Alex a lot, at the end of the day, he’s also her older brother and genuinely cares about her. When Professor Crumbs threatens to take Alex’s magic away because she doesn’t turn her report card in, Justin says that Crumbs will also have to take his magic away. Justin is ultimately selfless. We see again and again the sacrifices he makes for Alex and I think we mainly see his kindness in that relationship. Despite that, I think he’s also notably kind to Juliet. When he finds out that he made the mistake of reporting Juliet and her parents, he instantly tries to fix it. Not only does he try to fix it, but he puts his job as Monster Hunter in jeopardy for Juliet and her parents - her parents haven’t even been that nice to him. Justin is ultimately selfless and at the end of the day, he sacrifices himself or what he wants for others. When Rosie turns back into a good angel, instead of selfishly continuing to date her and keeping her in the mortal world (which he could have done - she literally offers to stay with him), he gives her up because he realizes the world needs a guardian angel more than he needs a girlfriend. Even though it hurts because he loved her, he gives her up. There’s no “award” for doing this - he won’t move up a level in the wizard competition, he really won’t get any recognition for giving Rosie up. He doesn’t even get any recognition for turning the moral compass back to good. He does it because it’s the right thing to do. Although later I’ll argue that Justin is constantly seeking validation, I also think that the heroic/good things he does are often done with no expectation of being praised for it. He does them because he has a strong sense of morals. He’s also kind to Harper, Zeke, his parents, and even Max, who people rarely ever show kindness to in the show.

He’s in touch with his emotions. When the show starts, Justin is very against anything that will show him as feminine or emotional. In fact, he even says he’s allergic to emotions (or something like that) to cover for the fact that he’s crying over his missing dog. As the show goes on, we see Justin start to embrace and accept his emotions more and to lose touch with his toxic masculinity. I think dating Juliet changed him in a lot of ways (making him more relaxed, etc), and I think one was encouraging him to be more emotional. After Wizards vs. Vampires, Justin is pretty emotional and open about his emotions in the show. He’s even open with talking about them. In the movie, he opens up to Alex about how he feels like Jerry & Theresa wouldn’t love him as much if he were less “perfect,” which brings me to my next point.

At the end of the day, Justin is a sad character. I know it’s a kid’s show but they really do cover a lot of issues so bear w me. I’m hyperfixated and I like to over analyze shows so I’ve thought about this a lot. Justin is the oldest, which means he already deals with pressure to be perfect. Then, add in the fact that his parents are constantly describing him as the “perfect child” and putting him on a pedestal, while pitting the kids against each other as a result of the wizard culture bc of the family competition (I love Jerry & Theresa but they’re not perfect). He’s also a high achiever and we know he puts extreme pressure on himself to do well - they always make a joke about it but it’s actually quite sad. He literally feels poorly about himself when he gets a B and bases his entire self worth on his grades and skills as a wizard. In fact, in the movie he voices doubt about whether or not he’s good at anything other than magic. I have a few things I want to say about all of this. First of all, I think Justin is constantly seeking validation. I think as the oldest and “best” child, he feels the need to be perfect all the time, but he also does many of the things he does because he just wants validation. When Harper decides to run a marathon, Justin does too, and sadly his accomplishment of finishing it is overshadowed by Harper “winning.” I also think Justin feels threatened by the success of others because he thinks it invalidates his. When he opens up to Alex in the movie, he says that he’s jealous of her because it seems like everything comes naturally to her. Justin feels as if his parents loving his siblings takes away from their love from his. It’s irrational, but very real. Which brings me to my next point - Justin has generalized anxiety disorder. It makes sense - the overthinking, the outbursts he has (Alex refers to it as a conniption once) of panic or frustration, the overachieving, etc. As someone who probably has autism, I also think he’s autistic (which would explain his troubles with tone, struggle making friends, obsessions with things like Captain Jim Bob Sherwood and science, being better w robots than people, and so much more).

Ultimately, Justin has a strong moral backbone. Although he’s a stickler for the rules and this oftentimes leads him to do bad things initially, he always does the right thing in the end. For example, when Justin and Alex go to court and Justin duplicates himself to be his lawyer, his lawyer ultimately proves that Justin is guilty; he even says something along the lines of “We’re Justin Russo. We always do what’s moral and just.” Justin has a strong sense of justice (which could also be from being autistic but I could do a whole other post about neurodivergency coding in WOWP and Disney & Nick shows overall bc there’s a ton of coding) and does what he thinks is right, most of the time. Sure, sometimes he does bad things, but he’s also a teenager at the end of the day and he’s highly competitive.

Finally, Justin Russo is super progressive - in fact, he’s probably the most progressive characters of the show. He acknowledges climate change and actively tries to create a solution for it. In fact, for his science fair project he makes a water powered engine, which would reduce carbon emissions. He also wears a shirt at one point that says “Make art not war.” I will admit that his biases against the werewolf he dated were problematic, but he clearly grew from that because he never held any of that against Mason. He’s also into science and is a nerd and although this is a stereotype, most young people who are into science and are nerds are progressive. I’m pretty sure he also is well aware of current events and would probably read the newspaper. Also I myself headcanon Justin as trans and bi (again could make another post about characters in wowp that are queer)

Bo Walking In On His S/O Kissing Someone Else:

You were the one thing in Bo’s life that made him feel human. His mother, who was dying slowly with each passing day, always made him feel as if he was some rabid dog who could never compare to her precious Vincent, who could do no wrong in her eyes. His father, in his own words, viewed and treated him as a monster. His two brothers, however, offered him relief in his life. Vincent was his biological other half. He felt powerful next to his twin brother, a nice change from feeling so small and incapable in front of his parents. Vincent was submissive and hated conflict, which made ordering him around quite easy.

But you - you were his spiritual other half. The only person on earth he would willingly bow down to.

The two of you had met in kindergarten. Bo was loud and outgoing, while you tended to stick to yourself, not making very many friends. The two of you couldn’t have been anymore different, but that didn’t stop the both of you from gravitating towards each other.

Bo thought you were pretty and nice, and you found Bo to be funny and alluring. The two of you became fast friends, playing together during recess, coloring together and sharing snacks during snack-time.

In middle school, the two of you began to develop both physically and mentally. Bo began to see you in a different light - more than just pretty - you were beautiful and kind and when Bo thought about you his chest pounded.

For you, Bo began to grow handsome and charming, making your cheeks glow red at just the thought of him.

Once high school hit and Bo and his two brothers spent time in foster care, the two of you were inseparable. You gave Bo’s life a sense of normalcy in contrast to the death of his parents, his disfigured and troubled twin brother, and life in an uncaring foster system. You were more than happy to stay by Bo’s side, comforting him whenever he needed it. Bo’s happiness was vastly important to you, and you would do anything, sacrifice anything, do help him achieve it.

The two of you began dating in freshman year, only deepening the bond the two of you shared. The two of you were attached at the hip, spending everyday together. Bo was affectionate with you, peppering you in kisses and holding you by the waist every chance he could. To everyone else, he was rough around the edges, snarky, and unfriendly. With you, however, he was unashamed to show his love and adoration for you. He wanted you to feel special, to feel cared for. He was infatuated with you

So when he walked across the parking lot towards your car after school only to find you pressed up against the side of your red Volkswagen bug, locking lips with some blonde footballer, he felt like his world was crashing down around him.

“The fuck?” he shouted.

The two of you sprang apart, both of your faces holding a look of shock. You looked more mortified and dismayed than the boy who had been kissing you. The jock looked more startled than anything.

“Bo,” you began, voice trembling. “This isn’t....I didn’t-”

Bo smashed his fist into the blonde boy before you could finish. The boy fell to the ground with a grunt before wiping the back of his hand across his lips, revealing a severely split lip. Bo then bent down to grip the front of his t-shirt, and punched him again. “Get the hell out of here. Now.”

The blonde boy scrambled his feet, face bloodied and bruised, and rushed off before Bo could land another punch on him.

Bo could hear you whimpering behind him, but he refused to turn around and look at you.

“Bo, it’s not what you think, I swear.”

Bo let out a humorless laugh. “Not what it looks like? So the two of you weren’t making out, you were just playing pattycake, is that it?”

Tears streamed down your face, dripping off your chin to wet the asphalt beneath your feet. “No, Bo please just listen-”

Bo finally whipped around to look at you. “I don’t listen to whores like you. After everything I’ve goddamn done for you, you throw it all away for some dumb jock who couldn’t less of a fuck about you?”

Bo was hurt. It was written all over his face, swimming in his eyes, etched into his facial features. Masking his vulnerability with anger was something Bo always did, but never with you. Seeing him look at you with such contemptment and sadness made you cry harder. It reminded you of all the late nights you and Bo had spent together throughout freshman, sophomore, and junior year, baring your souls to one another as you laid in each other's arms. Bo often worried if he was enough for you, if he deserved you, and had voiced these concerns to you on more than one occasion. Every time without fail, you reassured him that he was the only one for you - that you were soulmates, and you were incapable of loving anyone else but him.

Knowing how betrayed he must feel, you attempted to reach for his hand, hoping he would be quiet for just five seconds so you could explain, but Bo jerked away from you in an instant.

“Don’t fucking touch me. You’re a liar and a slut, and this? Us? It’s goddamn over.” With that, Bo stormed away from you before you had a chance to react.

Bo had just broken up with you over a misunderstanding and your heart felt like it was splitting in half.

Bo spent the rest of the day and most of the evening in the town’s auto shop, trying to cloud his brain by tinkering with cars.

It wasn’t working. Bo’s only thoughts were of you - of your smile, your laugh, the way you hid behind him when you got nervous, the sweet way you told him you loved him. Everything about you made his chest ache. He couldn’t fathom how your pure, unbreakable relationship had ended so suddenly on a random Friday afternoon, because you cheated on him.

You cheated on him.

You cheated on him.

Why? Why why why why? The two of you had always been immensely close and faithful to each other. You had both talked about marriage, about getting out of Ambrose and starting a family together. Was that all gone now?

“Bo?”

Bo stiffened at the sound of your voice. Why were you here? He had ended things. He had made it clear that he wanted to be left alone, that the very sight of you made his blood boil.

“Go away,” he snapped.

Stepping further into the garage, you grabbed both of his shoulders and forced him to look at you. “Baby, please, please just listen to me. I did not kiss David! I would never do that to you.”

Bo shook you off of him. “I know what I fuckin’ saw. Get the hell out of here, I don’t wanna talk to you.”

Bo looked down to see you lifting up your sleeve to reveal a large purple bruise on your upper arm.

“He did that to you?” Bo snarled.

Bo’s face contorted into fury. Some fucker had forced himself on you, made him think you had betrayed him, made him call you names, made him break up with you.

“I’ll fucking kill him. I’ll slit his fucking throat.” Bo grabbed you and crushed you to his chest, letting out a heavy breath. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry for calling you names and for leaving you like that.”

You let out a sigh of relief. You were back in Bo’s arms again, the one place you felt safe and secure.

“It’s okay, it’s okay honey,” you cried. “I’m just happy to be with you. I’m sorry you had to see that. I felt so disgusted with his lips on mine.”

“I meant what I said, you know,” he whispered.

“What do you mean?”

qhy do you hate morando?

There's just so little personality to him beyond 'Evil Meanie.'

He and Gunmar kill thier own guys. But when Gunmar does it, it's a loss of Temper, he's out of control, losing it.

When Morando does it, he's just 'haha heeehee you're of no use to me.'

It's not the Morando is BAD I just wish we would've gotten more out of him. I also think its a fucking SIN they wrote him as being responsible for the massacre of Varvatos family instead of DARING to allow the heros parents to be politcally grey. He's not a bad character, he was just written badly.

Russian citizens on tumblr aren’t the enemy.

Putin is the enemy.

Corrupt people in power are the enemy.

You do NOT go into the fandom blogs of people who happen to be Russian and tell them you can’t be friends with them anymore simply because they’re Russian.

The Citizens don’t get a say in this. Or a voice. The people we share fandoms with aren’t to blame for this, and I know. I know it hurts to see Ukraine suffering, I know we feel powerless to help, so we lash out. We lash out at people we see as the enemy because it drives us crazy that we can’t do anything. That the world feels so out of control. 

But Ukraine will prevail. Good will Prevail.

And punishing Russian tumblr-users is just punching down. Russian artists have been cut off from paypal, from accurate news, they’re scared and they aren’t hurting anyone. They’re still our friends. Support Ukraine. Stand with Ukraine!

But do not treat our friends and artists badly because of their nationality.

My #1 post of 2022

Some of Stricklander’s ‘monstrous’ characteristics that don’t get discussed enough. Thing’s he’s absolutely noticed and might be self-conscious about.

-His mouth is actually just a bit larger than it should be, it goes up too high in the corners when he’s aggressively smiling.

-His arms are longer than average, long limbs are often associated with cryptids and monsters, such as Wendigo, The Rake, ect

-Yellow eyes and slitted pupils. Good guys don’t have snake eyes. ‘yellow’ is not a ‘good’ color. Poetry is not written about yellow eyes. And nothing with pupils like that is seen as decent or honest.

-Fangs. He can’t cover them completely with his lips. They aren’t the elegant incisors of a vampire or incubus, they are tearing, rending teeth of a carnivore.

-Wings. While I’m sure he loves his wings, does he ever with they had a few lines of silken fur, to soften the ruggedness? Does he ever imagine himself in steel-gray feathers, instead of the leathery look of a vulture troll?

Just, all the things we find beautiful. Does he accept them, or do they give him dysphoria, does he recognize the face in the mirror when it isn’t Walter’s?

FYI i know EAH is about kids following their parents destiny, and alot of them are about women, so when its a guy with a womans tale, then they would follow that story but with it being a guy instead of a girl!

Protagonist - Child of sleeping beauty, i thought it could be funny to make someone whos days constantly repeat to make them a child of someone whos days end via sleep (doesnt wanna follow) - royal in ever after and wonderland with billy/lily/nugget

Nugget - Son of the mad matter, hes mad i mean cmon ;// (Does wanna follow) - royal in ever after/wonderland (likes to travel bewteen)

Lily - Daughter of the queen of hearts, I see her being a mamas girl and similar to lizzie (does wanna follow) - royal in ever after/wonderland (goes to visit billy and her mom alot)

Billy - Same as lily (duh) but acts a little more like allister and likes to wonder around wonderland alot (doesnt wanna follow) - royal that stays in wonderland but visits ever after high alot

Jerome - Son of Dr Fallicer (i cant spell), i dont know how to explain this but it just makes sense for me idk why (wants to follow) - Rebel stays in ever after
