OKAY I have a headcanon about this opening, which is that Holmes and Watson had a big argument and Holmes left London in a fit of pique. He worked himself to a breakdown, crashed hard, and checked into the nearest hotel, intending to recover on his own…but some bellhop or maid was a fan of Watson’s writings and sent the telegram and then Watson TRAVELLED 500 MILES IN A DAY TO GET TO HIM anyway that’s why I drew it like that.

Geralt is the captain of a pirate ship, named "Kaer Morhen." Perhaps he's still a witcher, perhaps he's just a regular old human (with white hair and golden eyes? Lol) His brothers (and "cousins" from other witcher schools) are his crew Now I can see this going two different ways, so choose a favorite (or make up your own, I am only the beginning, I hold no affront of being anything more) Jaskier is a nobleman's son, aboard his family's ship, possibly on his way to be forced into a marriage to a woman he doesn't love. And either he falls overboard or he's shoved off as a murder attempt, but he's lost in the ocean. Lambert (or someone else, but I love to imagine how Lambert would attempt to call this out to his captain who he doesn't take seriously 90% of the time, #brothers) calls that he spots a man bobbing in the sea, and they haul him up. The majority of the crew sees sight of his jewels and finery and insists on holding him ransom. But when the prisoner wakes up and isn't afraid of death, Geralt looks into this a little more. Apparently their prisoner won't get a ransom because his entire family despise him and his want to run away and become a bard. Funny. Most pirate ships have entertainers aboard to help the pirates deal with months of nothing but ocean. Perhaps they'll have use of this dumb twink after all. OR, option number two Jaskier is a nobleman's son, chained and starved for the crime of wanting to become a bard and not wanting to marry some prissy noblewoman. He hears a lot of loud noises and screams and then a bunch of burly men in fur cloaks stomp down and start rifling through their supplies. One catches eye of him and immediately yells to the captain. The captain is a very handsome man with silver locks and bright eyes, and the dreaded pirate captain is treating Jaskier with more kindness and gentleness than his family or their workers ever have. The pirate hauls Jaskier up into his arms and carries him to their own ship, laying him down in his own bed, and looking over his injuries and sending one of his crewmembers to make hm a fine meal. Jaskier begins telling the captain of his abusive life beforehand and mentions that all he's ever wanted is to spread music and love, and shockingly enough, this big scary (gorgeous) man doesn't even laugh at him for it.. Oh fuck he's falling in love-

• Perhaps Jaskier's family is crueler and has done more than beat him, perhaps they've stabbed him or something, and the very last thing he sees before he passes out from bloodloss is Geralt (Maybe he even thinks he's an angel! Lmfao)

• Geralt getting lovingly bullied by his brothers for taking care of his songbird so well

• Geralt's crew revenge-robbing or revenge-killing Jaskier's family if we do Option one for the story (attempted-murder route), since it's implied it happens in Option Two while they ransack the ship-

• Perhaps I'll do a sequel for this prompt one day for Mermaid Jaskier, I do LOVE mermaids, take this as a much smaller and much less detailed prompt for if you want that idea, too! Perhaps the Pankratz ship has a captured mer aboard, parched and dehydrated (I just mostly think it'd be funny if Geralt was checking his pulse and if he has any injuries while random other witches dump buckets of sea water on him-)

Right we've all seen jokes about the Red Crown being totally sick of Narilamb. And it's great and all, BUT! I think we're overlooking a hilarious option; Filthy Shipper crown. "Wingman" crown. Fanfic writer crown. "OMG just fuck already" crown. Crown that sabotages the Lamb's other relationships and encourages the Lamb to rebel against Narinder but spare him afterwards so they're both alive long enough to make the Crown's OTP canon just through a combination of "if you live forever you're gonna do everything eventually" and process of elimination. "You lovebirds just pretend I'm not here, I don't mind" crown. Crown that puts them through a "knock knock knockin on Hooty's Door" style event. Do you see my vision.

Clarification: they are not listed according to which one I like the most‼️ I have also only chosen the one I like the most, but there are many others ships that I enjoy as much as these! It's just that these have a special place in my heart (not to mention it's like four in the morning and I'm not going to draw more lol). With that said, let's see why I like these ships 😯

Torisai: Watching the series, Toritsuka became my favourite character because of how funny he was and especially because of his relationship with Saiki. Already when Saiki threatened him in the bathroom and half kabedoned him the gears in my head started working.

These two ironically are very close. Throughout the whole series Toritsuka has been very clingy with Saiki and even though Saiki himself despises and insults him, he actually cares and trusts him enough to do something as important as the volcano problem. They have this hate-love-hate relationship that I love, because Tori practically praises him while Saiki treats him like a germ, but, in the end, whether he wants to or not, he gives in (that's a lie, he doesn't, but let's pretend he does).

Saiki is practically a god to Tori and Tori is more of a problem to Saiki. They can't stand each other many times but they need each other's help on many other occasions. I love them I hope they get run over.

(I know I'm not saying much, but it's been a while since I've seen the series. If I rewatch it, I'll probably write this again with more details!!)

Zensung: For many years my otp was yooran, BUT I discovered that this ship actually existed and OMG. I've always been a multishipper, I believe that love is the solution to everything, and for a long time I was exploring other ships but this one I had never seen, when I did everything changed, seriously.

Their dynamic, their chemistry and their relationship both inside and outside the canon UGH. They've always had that big brother/little brother type of relationship, very adorable and all, but what happens when one of them starts to have feelings for the other? Then everything becomes more complicated because these seemingly innocent acts can suddenly have a different meaning. Going over to each other's house unannounced suddenly isn't so comfortable, being so close is suffocating, and the touching is too much to bear.

On Yoosung's part the problem comes more from the fact that he is his friend, and not only that, his incredibly attractive friend. And on Zen's part there is the fact that he is a man, and not only that, a man he actually finds very cute. So they have this awkward dynamic of not knowing how to approach each other properly and it's so delicious. I could read thousands of fanfics where it's just them trying to figure out what's the best way to just accept these feelings. Very cute, hopefully they kiss mua.

Xiaoven: When I wasn't playing genshin yet I came across some very nice art of them on Instagram. When I started playing Venti quickly became my favourite character. Shortly after that I got to know the pairing he had with Xiao and I found it. So cute. I did some research and saw that there was a lot of stuff around them and thought "wow, that's cool!! From so much content I'm sure a lot of people love it". Er. What a surprise when I realised that for a long time it's been one of the most hated ships in the community and I was like ???? I couldn't understand why, and to this day I still don't understand why it's so hated jksjdks.

Anyway. Why I like it is very simple. They're cute together. Xiao who has been isolating himself from everyone and everything actually has someone he holds dear to his heart because not only has he saved him, he constantly helps him and keeps him company. A pure soul who is there and embraces him with all that he is. And on Venti's side, although it doesn't seem like it, he actually is pretty much alone, all his friends, most of them, dead. And it's not like he can visit the ones that are alive. He is a free soul but, essentially he is lonely. He spends his nights with Xiao because he is someone he can trust, and secretly Venti hopes to spend more nights with him. Ayyy my kids how I love them, if I could I would put them in a little box and keep them away from everything bad in this world.

I love them because they have this whole complicated story, how Till loves Ivan but doesn't show it, and how Ivan wants Till to look at him but does it with violence because he doesn't know how to express it normally!! Well none of them know how to do it normally but uh, yeah.

Quite recent, but their story is very good! Although to be honest I don't really like angst and prefer to draw them happy, so I'll stick with au's!! I'd rather shamelessly cover my eyes and think they're happy than see how they've really ended up lol. Although that has its own beauty too, I just prefer the adorable stuff.

Shippers who act like everything has to be about their ship

Like an actor on the show could say something like "There was a scene in season 3 that was cut, i kinda wish it wasnt cut"

How I feel about this character

I love Narcissa so much. I think she's a really interesting (and deeply flawed) character! I think her arc is fascinating. I always imagine that she kind of expected to just play a very traditionally feminine pureblood 'lady of the house' type role in her life, but following Lucius's arrest and the dire straits her family found themselves in she found herself calling on inner strength and talent she didn't know she had.

I really enjoy her strength of character (especially in later scenes like in the opening of book 7 where Lucius is much more openly flustered than she is) and I enjoy the shifting power dynamic where by book 7 she is the one that both Lucius and Draco are looking to for cues on how to act. And of course I love that she straight up lied to Voldemort's face successfully. Without a wand no less.

I also like that she and Bellatrix have such a sibling dynamic and while most other people are really scared of Bellatrix and afraid of upsetting her in any way Narcissa is not afraid to argue with her. And Bellatrix in turn seems to care about Narcissa more than she cares about pretty much anyone else (other than Voldemort) which is super interesting and something I wish was explored more. It's also an interesting contrast to Bellatrix's relationship with Lucius which we could, at best, call "strained."

I feel like after the war Narcissa probably doesn't actually renounce her blood supremacist beliefs but at least puts on a show of it in order to improve the family's standing for Draco's sake. I also think she would have made overtures to Andromeda, though whether she'd succeed or not I'm not sure. Maybe ultimately after many years.

Generally I like her with Lucius. I think you could do something interesting with Narcissa/Snape as well.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

I love her sibling dynamic with Bellatrix because Narcissa can relate to Bellatrix in a way few others can and because on the one hand they have an obvious familial bond but also we get moments like Bellatrix being all '???? y r u so sad about ur child dying. so cringe omg!' and by book 7 Bellatrix doesn't think much of Lucius or Draco, who are 2 of the most important people in Narcissa's life. (Wonder if Bellatrix is a bit jealous of that and feels like she should be the priority.)

My unpopular opinion about this character

I don't like when people whitewash the fact that Narcissa was very much a blood supremacist who was probably totally on board with Lucius's views and actions. Her flaws make her interesting and complex. Sometimes I feel like Lucius gets treated as an evil bigot while Narcissa gets a total pass which is just weird.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I'm pretty happy with her arc. Might've been interesting to see her have a moment with Andromeda.

Favorite thing about them: My favorite thing about Nie Mingjue is how utterly loyal he is to his own values and beliefs. That man will form an opinion and die on it. I'm in awe pf his stubbornness. What a man. For Jiang Cheng, I love how much he loves?? He loves to the core of his heart, forever, regardless of things such as time and loss and betrayal. Through everything, despite everything, Jiang Cheng will continue to love.

Least favorite: Absolutely nothing, they're the best, they did nothing wrong, ever. If I had to pick, however...it's that they can be so embarrassing. Like guys. Please. I can't defend your cool titles if you behave like this in public.

Favorite line: My favorite line of Nie Mingjue is when he was going after Jin Guangyao after Wen Ruohan's death and Jgy is justifying his actions and saying, "I only did those things to save you!" and Nie Mingjue says "Fine! Then I will kill you, and then myself!" Like afljksjdn king, have you ever been chill a day in your life??

My favorite Jiang Cheng line...honestly, he has a lot, man is a walking icon. He has so many good moments. But I guess I'll go with the classic, "I'm his uncle, any last words?" It just says everything about who he is as a person.

BrOTP: Nie Mingjue's brOTP is definitely Lan Xichen. Nielan, how I adore you. Jiang Cheng's brOTP is obvious Wei Wuxian.

OTP: NieYao and Xicheng aaaaaall the way. That's the way to please the Lord. That's what the writing gods intended. They make so much sense and they make me insane.

nOTP: I have a particular hatred for Nie Mingjue and Jiang Yanli; whoever came up with that, lock your doors at night, I am coming for you. For Jiang Cheng, it is SangCheng. No particular ill feelings there, I simply don't like it.

Random Headcanon: Nie Mingjue died a virgin and that's the hill I will die on. For Jiang Cheng, I love the headcanon that after Jin Ling and the juniors become closer friends, they visit Lotus Pier often and he's like their mentor/uncle figure. Basically, the dynamic in that one fanfic called Out of Mud is canon to me.

Unpopular opinion: Nie Mingjue is not dumb or prejudiced simply because he gets angry easily. He evaluated Jin Guangyao's character so correctly and people didn't believe him. For Jiang Cheng, I will say that he's a better sibling than both Jiang Yanli and Wei Wuxian, argue with the fucking wall.

Song I associate with them: Right Where You Left Me (Taylor Swift) and Heirloom (Sleeping at Last) for Jiang Cheng and the Bleach soundtrack song Treachery for Nie Mingjue.
