I’ve just realised I’ve wrote this out like it’s a mincraft mod, oh well might as well, My universe types of sirens/mermaids, may add more when I think of them, all sirens take more damage in fire/weaker in warm places (I’ve found the colours text buttons… can you tell?)

Mythos sirens(mythology sirens): These sirens are the traditional bird sirens from Greek mythology they have all the powers that they do in Greek mythology

Siren song: there singing lures humans in so they can eat them.(I can’t find much more about there mythology powers? So if you know any more then please tell me)

Flight: due to Mythos sirens big wings and bird like appearance they can fly making it easier to preform aerial attacks.

Water breathing: Mythos sirens can breath under water for a long period of time but not forever, they are primarily land/sky creatures

Night vision: watching out for passing sailors on the pitch black is hard, so these beings have adapted to see in the dark, making it easier to see there sailor snacks.

Fire hurts: literally just that, fire hurts a lot more then it would a normal person

Village hate: where do you think the sailors come from? The villages of cause! So the villagers aren’t the nicest to your kind, what do you expect

Deep sea sirens: these sirens survive in the deepest darkest depths of the sea, they don’t go after humans as many don’t make it to deepest depths, they’ve evolved to become bigger then usual sirens as a way of scaring predators, deep sea sirens have a darker colour scale as they use it to blend in to the dark sea.

Siren song: deep sea sirens have evolved to a point where there songs can effect anyone from sea creatures to humans to other sirens, in the depths of the sea it’s a struggle to find good food so they will eat anything and anyone even there own, there like viscous wild animals willing to attack on sight.

Night vision: living in the depths of the sea isn’t the brightest place, so these beings have adapted to see in the dark, it’s also easier to see there food.

Stunning scream: when these sirens scream they stun there pray, the scream so loud it temporarily freezes the pray in fear.

Water vision: basically just night vision but in water, you can see better in water than others

Water breathing: Deep sea sirens can breath under water and on land although they are weaker on land they can survive on land but it’s a lot more of a struggle and they must sleep below water.

Faster in water: due to there watery ecosystems, sirens can swim fast in water.

Fire hurts: literally just that, fire hurts a lot more then it would a normal person

Village hate: humans inherently fear the unknown, given how deep sea sirens live in the depths so they haven’t been seen by humans or anybody beyond the sea for that matter, so villagers will be less trusting of you

Blood sirens: blood sirens can drink blood, they are able to eat but they need blood more then food, they are basically vampires but mermaid shaped, blood sirens can live anywhere both on land and in the sea

Siren song: blood sirens use there beautiful songs to lure in there pray(other sea creatures and humans) although they can not lure sirens in with there song they can still drink there blood

Blood drinker: blood sirens can drink the blood of any other creature e.g humans, sirens, animals and more however they can not drink the blood of the undead e.g zombies, skeleton, vampires and more.

Water vision: basically just night vision but in water, you can see better in water than others.

Water breathing: blood sirens can breath underwater and on land, they aren’t weak on land as long as they have blood.

Faster in water: due to there watery ecosystems, sirens can swim fast in water.

Village hate: villagers struggle to trust blood sirens due to there blood sucking nature, so there more luckily to run when seeing a blood siren.

Fire hurts: literally just that, fire hurts a lot more than it would a normal person.

Star sirens: star sirens, star sirens are often the runts of the pod, due to there small stature

Siren song: star sirens have a weak song, they unlike other sirens can’t use there songs on humans, there angelic songs only affect animals, hybrids and other non-human beings.

Water vision: basically just night vision but in water, you can see better in water than others

Water breathing: they can breathe on land and in water without issue, they are capable of living on land without water.

Faster in water: due to there watery ecosystems, sirens can swim fast in water.

Night vision: living in the big sea is hard for many, it’s dark and sometimes other sea creatures don’t have the best intentions so star sirens have adapted to see in the dark.

Fire hurts: literally just that, fire hurts a lot more than it would a normal person.

Village hate: where do you think the sailors come from? The villages of cause! So the villagers aren’t the nicest to your kind, what do you expect.

Fire/magma sirens: fire/magma sirens are primarily found in the neather, they live in lava pools and despite there sirenic(siren) heritage they hate water! It’s a horrible curse upon them.

Siren song: fire/magma sirens have a siren song, however they don’t use there songs in the conventional way, they see no need to use there songs as the lava gives them cover enough to sneak up on there pray, they can use there song but it only works on neather inhabitants

Lava vision: basically just night vision but in lava, you can see better in lava than others

Fire breathing: they can breathe on land and in fire/lava without issue, they are capable of living on land without lava.

Faster in water: due to there fiery ecosystems, lava/magma sirens can swim fast in lava.

Water hurts: literally just that, water/rain hurts a lot more than it would a normal person.

Village hate: humans inherently fear the unknown, given how lava/magma sirens live in the neather they haven’t been seen by humans or anybody beyond the neather for that matter, so villagers will be less trusting of you.

Water/ice sirens: water/ice sirens love the cold, these watery creatures usually found in the artic singing to the very little animals around, the artic is very cold and it’s a kill or be killed environment out there

Siren song: water/ice sirens have grown to learn the rules of the artic, kill or be killed is taken literally and these beautiful creatures aren’t to be trusted, they are willing to turn on even there own pod in desperation, there song powerful and deadly can work on any creature. When sirens use there song it encases there pray in ice slowly spreading up them till they can’t move under there trance

Water vision: basically just night vision but in water, you can see better in water than others

Faster in water: due to there watery ecosystems, sirens can swim fast in water.

Water breathing: they can breathe on land and in water without issue, they are capable of living on land without water.

Fire hurts: literally just that, fire hurts a lot more than it would a normal person.

Village hate: so many dead so many who try to live in the harsh conditions to succeed to survive only to die at the hands of cruel sirens willing to act on instincts. Villagers despise your kind.

(I’m planing on making like a list of mythical/fantasy creatures in my universe I love world building, this is just my siren types list which I plant to add to, please leave ideas/suggestions on what creatures I should add) thank you!

Max gets his horns stuck in pillows a lot. (This character belongs to my cousin @spokensloth2464).

Canonically Max belongs in the hybrid universe and this is something that happens in it a lot. Mat is the main character and just like how @spokensloth2464 is my cousin irl, Max is Mat's cousin in the universe :)

Also! My fursona Neon is in the universe too as Mat's brother, Max is also the cousin of Neon!

as a child there's nothing cooler than a kid who gets subjected to evil experiments and gains special abilities. it's even cooler if these abilities also cause unfathomable suffering to use/against others. children love stories like this.

Added to my wall of OCs, the first of my collection. Mat's, god of the universe and everything in existence, earth animal form. They originally lived in space, creating more people and protecting the universe while just as a soul being (being without physical body, just their soul) that looked like this.
