“They’re currently on a private island to the south. I can’t give you the exact coordinates but here’s the general location.” He tossed a flashdrive, one swiftly caught and skimmed through by Tim.

“Why are you helping us?” Damian’s mind was already calculating the best way to get rid of everyone in this room. The grip on his katana tightening by the second. He had full faith that you were capable of taking care of yourself, but it did not help with the fear of disappearance whatsoever.

Halsin bear related headcanons

So, bears are a special interest of mine which means I have too much knowledge about this animal than what is allowed and I just...needed to make these involving my favorite druid's preferred wild shape. This is part romantic headcanons, part general hcs and part me using this man as an excuse to talk about bears.

As I said in another post, bears have an extremely accurate sense of smell, and they will leave their mark on their territory by rubbing their backs on trees to leave their scent. With that in mind, I can picture some days where Halsin is constantly hugging Tav, holding their hand, just being in physical contact with them, to sort of leave his smell on them. 

Maybe he would do that after noticing how Tav was smelling of others. 

On the topic of smells, bears are attracted by smell, so on days that the group is low on supplies, he wildshapes and scavenges for all sorts of fruits and plants, especially the more sweet ones. 

Also, Halsin sniffing Tav’s hair, especially after a good bath, and saying that it smells nice. 

Many species of bears are omnivourous, I think especially black bears, so Halsin will eat just about anything. If it looks fresh and edible, he will eat it. 

It also means that, during the weeks/months leading up to winter, he is going to be eating a LOT. 

Bears are not true hibernators and for Halsin, that could translate to him just sleeping more during winter time. 

Also, if it’s a particularly cold night, he’s wildshaping into a polar bear and enveloping his partner(s) in a tight and very warm hugs. I say polar bear in specific because they have the fur that is more adapted to handle cold weathers and because polar bear moms will often cuddle with their cubs because their (cubs) fur is still not developed enough to handle the weather, and picturing Halsin in bear form doing that is just so cute. 

Black bears in particular are great climbers and I can see Halsin picking up that as well. On a particular night, where the sky is clear, Halsin would transform into a bear, get his partner on his back, climb up the tallest tree around and then show them the stars and the moon. 

Also, getting a bit into more animalistic things, Halsin would be a very vocal guy, like grunting and growling when he's upset.

When confronted by someone who could be a threat, he'd use his already large size to his favor and try to intimidate the person away. Puffing up his chest, holding his head higher, just showing he's the bigger guy and he's not to be messed around with.

Getting particularly into more…naughty territory, I want to talk about courtship. On the more tame side, if Halsin has his eyes on someone, he’d follow them around more, get them to be comfortable around him. He’d be more playful, like being more outspoken of his intentions and flirting more, but just like real bears, he'd wait until his partner initiated it. 

I don't see Halsin as a possessive man overall, BUT, in specific situations, I can see this side of him coming out, because of bear instintcs. Male bears can get more aggresive towards other males during mating season, and I can see that affexting him.

Maybe he's courting someone and another person gets a bit too close (and his partner makes it clear they're not liking it), Halsin's gonna get into protective mode and scare the guy away.

The last two points are a bit more sexual, so I put them under the cut.

Also, after seeing a video and reading a couple of articles on it, yeah I can see Halsin being into primal play. 

His partner gets a good head start before he wildshapes into a bear and runs after them. Fun fact, bears can run up to 35-40 mph, so I can see him also like, stopping from time to time to prolong the hunt even longer. If his partner in a druid who can wild shape into a bear, I think it’d be even more interesting because the speed of both would be equal. 

Remember how I said he's a vocal guy? Yeah, he's going to be groaning, and moaning and grunting a lot during sex.

Here's the rest of the Zima alphabet, please see my alst post for letters a to n!! Sorry again for the mixup. <3

O = Oral (preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.)

They're very skilled at giving! Will only be open to receiving oral when they're with someone they trust. [This is in part because they don't like giving up control, but also because they only get bottom surgery in the later part of the story, and if a hookup happens in the first part, they might actually prefer keeping their undies on during and being touched through the fabric. Also, they simply prefer finishing themself up instead of being touched by someone else. This may also change as the story progresses. Zima really is in a bad state of mind at the start.]

P = Pace (are they fast and rough? slow and sensual? etc.)

Sometimes slow, sometimes fast. So, moderate? Idk. They're definitely sensual, though. What they enjoy most about sex is manipulating another person's body, and they do so with the utmost concentration.

Q = Quickie (their opinions on quickies, how often, etc.)

Not a huge fan, buuut... if needs must... Like, if emotions afre running high and it just hapens, Zima is totally down.

R = Risk (are they game to experiment? do they take risks? etc.)

As long as they're not deprived of their sense of control, sure.

S = Stamina (how many rounds can they go for? how long do they last?)

Given they prefer making themself cum, they can go for however long is necessary/best in the situation. They're very patient.

T = Toys (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?)

They LOVE toys. They have so many of them. They enjoy just collecting them, too, especially ones that are fancy and colorful and have cute/fun shapes. They love using them, both on themself and on partners.

U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)

They're all about teasing.

V = Volume (how loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.)

They're not very loud at all. They moreso like to encourage their partner to be loud FOR them.

W = Wild card (a random headcanon for the character)

Zima will briefly freeze up when being praised.

X = X-ray (let’s see what’s going on under those clothes)

Despite loathing their body, Zima does have moments when they realize just how sexy they are. They get off on being looked at, being desired; but they probably will keep on their undies if it's a less intimate hookup. See above.

Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?)

Pretty high, they love having sex and touching themself. They've also had a lot of sexual partners.

Z = Zzz (how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)

Not at all! Sex actually only energizes them further lol. There'll be a running gag among their admirers/the band that sex is where Zima draws their "superpowers" from.

favorite thing about them: how can I choose just one??? He's so good in so many ways kamsmsmdkdmd. He's so determined to do the right thing, but isn't flawless in his judgment; he's so oblivious about why the princess so upset with your choices at times, it's frustrating but also, I love it, because it shows he isn't perfect. He literally just a little guy. Trying his best, but his best isn't always helpful.

least favorite thing about them: WHY DID PRISTINE CUT MAKE HIM BLUE???? Genuinely cannot see that color as Hero, he's too warm colors-coded for me, I'll always choose to ignore and toss away that little detail.

favorite line: "A small tear runs down their cheek…… Sorry. Couldn't resist."

brOTP: Don't really have a specific one for Hero. I like many dynamics with him — Skeptic, Cold, Para, Damsel, Wild– — but don't think I really have a brOTP for him.

OTP: Not sure I really have one for him, either, it's kinda hard to imagine Hero in a– OK, OK, gonna stop playing coy, y'all know ContraHero has a vice grip in my mind. They're just. Them <3

nOTP: because of how my brain is with characters that are part of a 'Main OTP', literally everything else lol. Cannot make myself interact with any other Hero ship, even when it's a poly with Contrarian involved (with the exception of a very specific Longest Night (ParaColdHeroContra) dynamic that exists in my brain), that's just how my shipping brain works.

unpopular opinion: I really don't think he'd get along with all other voices. Some of the stuff they go through in the construct would really sour his opinion of some of the others, and despite him trying to keep peace and mediate for others, he can't just forget what they went through. Just really wish others would touch more on this side of his dynamic with others

I think it would be great if Conner had a crush on the reader, he might try to steal some of reader's sweaters/ hoodies without thinking. So to poke back the reader steals one of Conner's favorite shirts, the reader having a mischievous smile when he sees how flustered Conner is, to have the Reader smelling like him.

Headcanons

Always hype to write about my kryptonian headcanons

-          Conner wouldn’t realize what he was doing in the beginning, stealing your stuff like he did. It would just be a deep urge of his, to smell like you or have your scent close to him.

-          So little by little as you two hang out, he would just bring some of your hoodies or sweaters back to his room, resorting to even wearing them every now and then.

-          You would most likely realize before Conner himself, seeing as he isn’t as subtle as he thinks he is when he borrows some of your stuff, especially when he doesn’t give it pack and it just ends up on a big pile on his bed.

-          So, when you start stealing shirts and hoodies back, that primal part of Conners brain immediately is awake, hyper focused on you. He especially gets antsy when you walk around wearing his clothes, smelling like him.

-          He starts chuffing and purring at a frequency only other kryptonians can hear, that feral part of his mind so pleased that you are wearing his scent and smelling like him. It makes him want to pull you into his arms and never let go.

 -          You two keep up this game for a while, swapping clothes back and forth without ever actually saying anything. And it only makes that part of Conners brain go a little extra wild. Especially when he one day catches you going around in one of his t-shirts and just a pair of boxers.

-          At some point he realizes you gotta be doing this on purpose, as you smirk and snicker at his flustered reactions. It makes him growl at the frequency normal people cant hear, feeling something in his chest about being teased that way.

-          It makes him want to mark his territory, but he feels embarrassed about wanting to smother you even more in his scent and even mark you as his. So, you’ll most likely have to take the step in that direction.

-          But when you get the ball rolling there’s no end to it, expect so many hugs and so much scenting, expect him to suck hickeys all over your body and lick you all over, especially in areas that gather a lot of your smell.

-          You’ll also have to learn to live with just how excited smelling your scent or musk can be for him, though it probably comes as a surprise to the both of you the first time he has an orgasm just huffing your armpit.

 -          After that time you both start experimenting a bit more, seeing if its just your scent or something else. This resorts to Conner wearing even more of your clothes, and at this point your wardrobes have just been completely mixed.

-          No one is surprised to see you two wear the others clothes, and no one is surprised to see Conner rubbing his face all over your neck, or to see hickeys and bitemarks all over your torso in the locker room.

-          Be prepared for the kryptonian libido, there is no mercy when you really get Conner going. You will be seeing God and wrung dry like an empty Juicebox, and he still wont be satiated.

-          That’s when its good to have some of your workout clothes or shirts you’ve worn all day laying around, as it helps Conner get off on his own as you catch a break so you can feel your legs again. It isn’t half bad watching him ride his toys with your shirt against this nose either, it really does something to your ego.

-          Afterwards you always cuddle, and Conner purrs even louder even though you cant hear it. He’s told you about it at some point, so you can feel its there in spirit. He’s like a space heater when you cuddle, so you never have to worry about being cold. It’s a nightmare during the summer though.

So, assuming everyone of the gods we like is on board with the whole becoming mortal and incarnating over and over again so we are never appetizing enough for predathos to even notice us plan. My favorite plan. I have some ideas for who goes where. Just for headcanon. I don't have ideas for them all, feel free to leave your thoughts

The arch heart, that dramatic manchild, the extrover extraordinair who's probably going to be so hyped to discover life over and over again, are you kidding, have you met the guy? If he can aim himself, i think he'd pick wherever he thinks the most fun is going to be. And he is defenitely going to start a cult again. He might be okay with a short lifespan so he doesn't risk getting bored too quickly. Though he'd also want to be pretty so he might be tempted to become a fey. If he does, becomming Ferns little brother might ensure it's never going to be boring and he has someone who'll take him to the material plane where he can connect with his siblings.

Changebringer, we didn't get to know her super well, but i think she'd be down for an adventure like this, a change of scenery. She wasn't part of the fun last time so this is very exciting for her. She'd like to be born to traveling sales men or a circus or something like that. Born on the roads she watched over. She'd be the one connecting her siblings

Platinum dragon: I can see him be a prince. Maybe J'mon takes a baby dragon under their wing and when they are grown they mary the crown princess of the empire and turn the whole thing around for many many years. It'd be nice if Caleb gets to see that happen for his people before he passes He might be a bit reluctant leaving his current throne but I think he can be made to see reason; as long as a certain minotaur either keeps his tongue or manages to find the right words to apeal to him knowing his tennants as well as he does to make him feel like he's not running, or being a coward or abandoning his followers

The law bearer: she wanted to come allong last time but couldn't for reasons, and while i think she too might be hesitant about what it would mean for her followers i think she wouldn't mind living among them. She might go somewhere that could use a hero and grow up to become a fierce adventurer a lawfully good paladin or something she might die young but she'll be legendary in every life

The knowing mentor: Sure, leaving her library might sting, but once she sees the wisdom of the decision she'd likely be born in Vasselheim, maybe she'll be a grandchild to a certain legendary couple of dragon slayers in the slayer's take. Just imagine Osisa's reacition when she meets the youngest member.

The Allhamer: Again, we don't know much about this guy. But i assume he's going to be okay crafting a new life for himself. He might be a smith's son somewhere, something his siblings will defenitely tease him about whenever they reconect

The dawn father: Not really sure. He gave me protective older brother vibes in the flashback episodes, so i think he'd end up near where who he believes to be the most vulnerable of his group end up so they can become friends really fast and be together before they even remember who they are. He's very my way or the highway and he might be the hardest to convince

The storm lord: He might like a challenge just saying. And it'd be hillarious if he got adopted by a certain angel barbarian woman and her badass library monk wife

The wild mother: Okay, so hear me out, she defenitely wouldn't mind being among the wild again. And growing up at sea rather than in a forest this time around with her paladin to protect her while she is little and her cleric to visit for tea could be a fun first go around. And said paladin's partner is a special sort of wild she'd enjoy i think. Not to mention, it'd have Artie nervous and she'd love to mess with him on behalf of her sister.

the raven queen. If Vax and Kiki end up making the most of their reunion (not knowing yet that there won't be a goodbye cuz there is no matron to return to yay!) there might be a possibility for her to grow up with this paladin very close too. Kiki might be a little upset and need convincing that her daughter wasn't erased to make room for the matron.

The everlight defenitely wouldn't mind being among her followers once more and if she is convinced that this will protect them then of course she will, she is excited that she might reunite with her lost siblings as well at some point, she might join her favorite cleric's family if i got the right vibe from the dawnfather there may be twins.

Moonweaver: Don't know her either, but she loves a good trick so tricking predathos by pulling a switcheroo like this might be right up her ally. Don't know who she'd be. She might just hop in the first free spot she finds.

And as a bonus Asmodeus: I think, if he's convinced to do this, judging by how he insisted upon messing with Pelor the last time by becomming one of his priests, i think it'd be funny if he picked whatever he thought would end up pissing him off the most and then he ends up being raised in a very loving family with a great relationship with Rae and Pelor and then they remember and for the first time in eons he feels regret for hurting his siblings and he is sure they hate him now but they don't and he is kind of changed to his core by that experience

I'm not going to even guess at the others, i have no clue who they are or what they'd be like. I do hope they find themselves in a place of healing the hurt and maybe, over the lifetimes, they end up truly, reunited. There are so many fun fic ideas in here i think. What do you guys think? Where would the gods end up?

SBG Headcanons!

I'm making this because it'll put some context into the first snippet fic that I'm going to be putting on here later today. These are all very random. There is no linear thought process to any of these. Lol.

Ashlyn

Prefers hot coffee over iced coffee.

If someone scares her while she's asleep, she will kick them. (Pay attention to this one. Lol.)

Favorite fruit is apples. Mainly because they're easy to eat on the go. (She runs late a lot.)

She has accidentally shut her own braids in doors on multiple occasions, and each time she does, she thinks about cutting them off.

Aiden

He was always a night owl, even before the Savannah trip, but the trip and the phantom dimension have only worsened his already terrible sleeping habits.

He either hugs something in his sleep, or tosses and turns a lot. Has accidentally smacked and kicked people in his sleep before.

Has broken/sprained his legs/ankles multiple times in the past doing risky tricks, and despite this irritating Ben to no end, he still manages to convince Ben to carry him around so he doesn't have to use crutches.

He once tried to slide down the stairs in his house on his mattress. It did not end well.

Ben

Often drums his fingers/pen/pencil against whatever surface he can while he's listening to music.

When he's unsure of what to do in certain situations, he'll copy whatever Aiden does (as long as it isn't something risky).

Once hit Aiden in the face with a pillow so hard that he made Aiden's nose bleed. (Aiden drew on his face with a marker while he was asleep.)

He sleeps like a log and will not move once he's asleep. He once scared his aunt into thinking he was dead when he first started staying with them.

Logan

He has an interest in gene splicing, especially in plants and bugs.

He knows many different herbal remedies. And if given the chance, he will go on for hours about the best plants for herbal remedies of various sorts.

He loves hot tea, and is practically an expert at steeping the best hot tea.

He has no fear of spiders. He will go and pick them up and let them crawl on him, and he knows which types of spiders to avoid and which ones are okay to mess with. (He has saved spiders from Tyler, who tries to kill them on sight.)

Taylor

Loves tea, hot or cold, though drinks more iced tea because her brother doesn't like hot tea.

Hugs whatever is within reach when she sleeps.

Terrified of spiders. She screams if she sees one, and she has fainted when one touched her once.

She used to do a lot of birdwatching, and even has old notebooks that were full of notes on different birds she liked. She doesn't go birdwatching as often anymore.

Tyler

Similar to his sister, hugs whatever is closest when sleeping.

Hates hot tea, will only drink iced sweet tea.

Kills spiders on sight because of his sister's fear of them. (How dare they scare his sister?)

Doesn't mind snakes, and has even caught a few random wild snakes in the past. (Taylor does not like snakes very much and refuses to touch them.)

What is a "bad idea?"

It's whatever you want it to be! The "[blank] Life, but _" format works really well for series concepts as a whole, but "bad headcanons" are welcome too! Go wild, friends <3

"Someone already sent in my same idea! Can I submit it again?"

Sure!! Most of the time, I won't even realize it's been said before. This blog has been going for so long now and I have bigger priorities, I won't penalize you for sending in a "repeat" ask :)

(There is also the #additions tag for adding onto specific ideas, although it isn't used very consistently. If you would like your ask to be added to a previous post instead, just ask!)

"What does the queue look like for this blog?"

Currently, it posts 3 times per day, and there's about ~250 posts in the backlog waiting to be posted (as of late January.)

For complicated personal reasons (but mostly me being a busy uni student), that most likely won't be drastically changing anytime soon. I don't get around to stocking this blog very often and I would rather have it be slow and consistent than have random bursts of activity then silence. I know this is frustrating for people, but this is my personal passion project, and I don't want to needlessly stress myself out over something I started for fun :)

Probably still in the askbox! Very rarely do I actually delete asks, I promise I don't cherrypick the ideas I like and discard the rest. But since I know the wait is frustrating, this is my policy to deal with it:

If you've sent in an idea and it hasn't posted yet, you can send me an ask describing your idea and ask to have it moved up in the queue. You can also send in a separate ask when submitting an idea if you want to have it posted sooner rather than later.

(If your idea is connected to recent events in smps, etc it will most likely be moved up anyway so it posts while still "relevant," although this is somewhat limited to my familiarity with the event. It never hurts to ask!)

Do you ever think about how insane Darius' teleportation is, actually? He can do that in very long range and to other people without him even having to see where he's taking them (like when he tossed the BATTs into the Conformatorium), and as far as I can remember, he's the only abomination witch who seems to have access to that specific ability (he has many of those that seem to be exclusive of the experiments he did on his own body, frankly, but this one is more external).

Where did he even learn that? How?

My running theory is it's an ability influenced by wild magic.

Hear me out here. I've thought a lot about Hunter's whole deal with his quick-step-thingie. It would be easy to assume that has nothing to do with him and Flapjack allowed him to do it, especially since it's the one thing he keeps after Flapjack's life is absorbed within him, but the thing is he used that already with his artificial staff, it just seemed to have a much superior range, so I can only imagine that what Flapjack did both alive and dead is give Hunter the magic energy necessary to still perform that move.

But once again, then where did Hunter even learn that?

The artificial staff in itself might have been it. Or, well, a mix of that and the way in which Belos himself fights, since he also has some sort of teleportation. We don't really see it a lot, and it might be a bit questionable if it counts when he does it inside of his own mind, but he also does it in his fight with Luz in s1.

Now, Belos wouldn't be fighting all that often, but given his insistence to isolate Hunter and the way in which he gave all of his grimwalkers an artificial staff, I find it likely enough that he taught them to fight too. Or at least did the mere basic of "I'm going to beat you up and you figure out how to fight me" 💀 However it was, they could have learned that move from him or drew inspiration from it.

And so what I'm getting to here is that Darius' mentor was the one who either taught him to adapt the teleporation move to his own abilities or inspired him to do it.

Why do I say it's wild magic? Well, what Belos does isn't exactly "traditional" magic in the way he puts it, which is very ironic, but he did use glyphs and other things to develop his own magic and create the artificial staves. More over, the other two characters we see using teleportation are Eda, notorious wild witch, when she still had all of her magic, and Lilith, who as part of the Emperor's Coven does not have her magic locked by tracks.

Aditionally, it's just the Clawthornes, and it seemed that they weren't all that interested in the norms Belos' reign was trying to implement, since Gwen only even joined a coven in order to try and cure Eda's curse. Very interesting that the sisters that could do that were from a family that sort of had predisposition to wild magic in the first place.

I particularly like to headcanon this because it would be another subtle way in which Darius is not conforming to what would be expected of him as not only a coven witch, but THE Head Witch of his coven, and right under Belos' nose while ironically because of the previous Golden Guard's influence.

sleepover weekend! chenford headcanons: pre-relationship, angst era, established relationship, break up, and a future one ♡

ooooh okay this is making my mind run wild!!

pre-relationship: lucy somehow rigs the shop radio (not their comms radio but their music station radio) to only play sir mix-a-lot, and tim tries his hardest to switch the channel or turn it off but it doesn’t work and he’s stuck with it the whole afternoon as payback after some particularly brutal tim test

angst era: one of them ABSOLUTELY says the other’s name during sex with their s/o (chris or ashley) at some point, I just can’t decide who I’d prefer it to be. the part of me that hates chris wants it to be lucy but I think realistically it would be tim because he somehow ends up being the messier one of the relationship. either way, it thankfully goes unnoticed by their partner but it’s like… enough to make them a bit sad and a bit freaked out

established relationship: tim has met lucy’s parents and they hate tim. tim actually stands up for lucy real good at one point and this doesn’t impress her father but it does impress her mother because a lot of tim’s rant to them is about letting lucy be free to make her own choices and lucy’s mom felt too restricted by lucy’s father and so seeing him actively advocate for her is like oh ok so maybe my therapy talk did work and my daughter can have a relationship where she’s seen and isn’t bored or neglected or controlled. maybe I did raise her right in this regard kind of thing. and so she slips tim a few recipes on the way out which is a big deal for her and lucy knows then that she fully approves.

breakup: tim has to put kojo on anxiety meds after the breakup because he keeps whining for lucy in the middle of the night and both of the boys struggle with sleep for a rough few weeks

future: I have so many for these tbh, like lucy gets tim’s name tattooed in mandarin on her inner thigh when they get back together (and yes I’m writing a fic about this), when they buy a house and move in together they make a studio above the garage in case tamara ever visits or needs a place to stay, they have a really hard time conceiving at first when they do eventually want kids and see a fertility specialist and it’s like a real rough patch, but also my happier headcanon for that is that once she does get pregnant you’d think they’d cool it on the sex after having to try so hard but NOPE the sex somehow gets hotter and more frequent, like pregnant lucy makes tim horny 100%
