Astra: *takes off headphones* Huh?

Leviathan: What milkshake are you talking about? You don't even have one in front of you.

Astra: *laughs* Oh...Leviathan I don't mean a real milkshake...it's a metaphor.

Leviathan: For what? Nothing on your body is like a milkshake in the slightest.

Astra: Excuse me?

Leviathan: *takes her headphones and listens to the song with a grimace* This song is definitely not for you.

Astra: *narrows eyes* So...you're saying your milkshake is better?

Leviathan: Of course it is. My subjects would die just to speak to me. No 'milkshake' required. If you're talking about sex appeal, then you've already lost.

Astra: Being a stuck up bitch and instilling fear in your citizens isn't sexy by the way. *takes her headphones back and keeps listening*

Leviathan: You're just mad that my milkshake is better than yours and will forever be. That song no longer belongs to you.

Astra: You can't own this song, you didn't make it...

OK, so, uh, I came to the yard, but there aren't any milkshakes here. Yeah, there's just some lady singing, but there aren't any actual milkshakes. I feel disappointed, but not surprised? Yeah, idk either, can you just come pick me up plz, I think she's looking at me.

i recognize that simon and edwin meeting and parting in hell is narratively very good and provides closure for all. but imagine if simon had agreed to try and escape with edwin. and charles doesn't have time to really question it, because anybody who likes edwin is aces in his book and it's hell, they need to leave. (edwin, out of courtesy to their third companion, puts his plan to confess on hold until they've escaped.)

suddenly the edwin harem of "supernatural boys who all hate each other but are attracted to that negative rizz" gains another member, and at some point edwin is going to have to mention that simon was the boy who sacrificed him to hell.

the chaos. crystal's bitchy commentary. charles going from friendly smiling to clutching his cricket bat. niko's whispering "200k slow burn schoolboy rivals to lovers" with heart eyes. it'd be chef's kiss good. edwin fleeing to his books and praying that nobody, but especially not the cat king, finds him because there has been SO MUCH emotion already. hysterical.

so at my job there’s two other 17 year olds, which means my boss does her best to keep us three apart bc if not, we yap.
