#a doodley #guys im having realizations i dont really know what to do with #ive said this tons before but my main issue with art rn is like #i Know anatomy. and what it's Meant to look like. my issue is straying away from Correct and going with Good like how some of my stuff was #before i really started learning. loose and not restricted #but my obstacle is that nobody draws the way i want to draw. and im bad at coming up with my own stuff...i need to copy and osmose off #someone else. well. it turns out there is someone who draws the way i draw. and its cheye of the past.#dont get me wrong if i look thru the rest of the art in the (year) folder these came from; 80% of it sucks #i wish i cld have what past cheye had but with current cheye tweaks and refinement #but idk how to do that. something weird has happened to my mind i really cant envision and make art the same way anymore #idk how he did it back then....i wish i Knew bc current me cant make anything out of sketching or thumbnails or just going at it #arghhh #i try and force myself to draw stuff like this now (interactions) and it looks. so stiff. and bad proportion wise but idk how to fix it #which isnt to say the proportions (for example) in THESE drawings are perfect but they dont scream Wrong or Bad or Incorrect to me ykwim...#idk! idk what to do with this. ive never known how to go back and study my own stuff

#splatoon #pearl houzuki #agent 8 #marina ida #acht mizuta #my stuff #inktober piece 2 :)#shoutout to my brother who reminded me i could replay the credits whenever because i had to get some extra refs for eight's model #and saved me from having to slog up the tower again #now if only splatoon could do that for every cutscene eh. please #i want to relive a lot of cutscenes and youre killing me for it splatoon #anyway did you know splatoon's official art has. well it wildly varies from piece to piece #they all follow like a very loose guidelines but also they all split off into their own things half the time #me with seven tabs of art trying to figure out if i want to do lines to separate pearl's fingers: so this one has lines but this one doesnt #'this one isnt relevant to this issue all fingers are splayed'#so in the end i just did whatever i wanted. i think that's a core tenet of art. do whatever you want. forever #also spent an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out what was etched into marina's headphones #im 98% sure it is the off the hook logo. but nothing save from booting up splatoon and checking myself would say for sure #and i didnt wanna boot up splatoon cause if i did then id inevitably be down a couple hours because 'oh well im here already. one run maybe'#but regardless!! im proud of how this came out even if i was supposed to have finished two days ago to keep with my schedule #especially the bg :) i think i did really good on that.#and eight's little smile i think thats the charm point of the whole piece and it took me about ten drafts to get it properly #i think i did good on that too.#im so enamored with splatoon rn help

Anons are off because I'm done with people lying in my inbox, insulting me, and just piling on. I am one person who is trying to deal with hatred from multiple sides but those sending these messages see themselves as just one person throwing in their opinion because you can't see the other 15 messages I get insulting me for the same thing. I feel like I've been clear about my stance and why I function how I do in my small space online. If you find issue with how I function then please just unfollow me and leave me alone. I'll be offline for a while but I appreciate everyone who's sent me caring messages and things to consider a lot. I'm genuinely disappointed though, that this all comes from me saying I love my Jewish community and I hope they're doing okay- My first message directed at supporting other Jews I've made, after months of reaffirming my care for Palestine. Stay safe yall.
