A Follow Up Post for the English Voice Casting of Mr Osomatsu
Tumblr media
Okay so I'm doing a part 2 cause the last post didn't mention all the best roles Billy, Ray, Sean, Kyle, Michael and Max did as voice actors.
First up is Billy Kametz as my personal favorite, Osomatsu. What roles has he done? How about everybody's favorite pretty boy delinquent with the stylish hair, Josuke Higashikata from JJBA: Diamond is Unbreakable. Like isekai? He is Naofumi from Rising of the Shield Hero. Love watching anything by Studio Trigger? He's the number 1 firefighting idiot, Galo from Promare. He's also Anai from Aggretsuko, Macaque in Monkie Kid, Rui from Demon Slayer, Dr. Maruki from Persona 5 Royal, Nenji Ogata from 13 sentinels, Asmodeus Alice in Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun and Ferdinand Von Aegir from Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
Next up is the totally painful cool Karamatsu (and Dekapan), played by Ray Chase. Interestingly enough, he does a couple of Nakamura Yuichi's other roles, one of them being Bruno Bucciarati from JJBA: Golden Wind, He also does Ryoumen Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen, Roswaal L. Mathers in Re: ZERO, Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV, Puri Puri Prisoner in One Punch Man, Tengen Uzui in Demon Slayer, and for those who like Smash Bros, he does the voice of Roy from the Fire Emblem games. (He also did the voice of that subway announcer in Persona 5)
Next we have Sean Chiplock as the nerdy straightman, Choromatsu. For those unfamiliar with his work, he did the voice of Subaru from Re:ZERO, Ishimaru and Monotaro from the Danganronpa franchise, Shin from Dorohedoro, Kazunari Takao in Kuroko's Basketball, Daewi Han in God of Highschool, Frankenstein in Noblesse, Revali from Zelda: Breath of the Wild and my favorite role he's done, Mista from JJBA: Golden Wind! I'm so glad he was chosen to replace the old actor, I'm much more familiar with his voice work anyway.
Oh boy, we got another talented voice actor that's had a lot of great roles. Kyle McCarley is the voice of our favorite emo cat boy; Ichimatsu, but you might also know him as Mob from Mob Psycho 100, 9S in NieR Automata, Ei Sekigahara in 13 Sentinels, Kusuo Saiki from Saiki K. Reawakened, Shinji Matou in the Fate/Stay Night, Simon from Infinity Train, Ryo in Devilman Crybaby, Yushiro in Demon Slayer, Collot in Beastars, Red Blood Cell in Cells At Work: Code Black, Red Son in Monkie Kid, Narancia in JoJo's Bizzare Adventure and a bunch of more roles. If only the last two were major JoJo characters.
Well, Michael Sinterniklaas did appear in Jojo in a minor role towards the end of part 2. Aside from playing as the goofy and loud Jyushimatsu, he is also the voice of Mikey Simon from Kappa Mikey, a teenage mutant ninja turtle named Leonardo, Funshine Bear in Care Bears, Dean Venture from the Venture Bros, a show I recommend for those who like adult comedies like Mr. Oso. Aside from cartoons, he's done a lot of anime stuff too, some of it goes all the way back to the 90s with his first role being Ataru Moroboshi in Urusei Yatsura. He's also Netherlands in Hetalia, Sora in Naruto Shippuden, Moritaka Mashiro in Bakuman, Dagger in Black Butler: Book of Circus and additional voices for a LOT of anime. He's probably a background character in your favorite show, like JoJo's, Naruto or One Piece.
Last but not least we have the only actor that hasn't done anything in JoJo, Max Mittelman. That's fine, because aside from the cute two-faced Todomatsu, he's also the laid-back hero for fun, Saitama from One Punch Man. He's also Ryuji Sakamoto in the Persona 5 games, Tee in Puyo Puyo Tetris, King in Deadly Seven Sins, Meruem in Hunter x Hunter, Kousei Arima in Your Lie in April, Plagg in Miraculous Ladybug, Ritsu Kageyama in Mob Psycho 100, Atsushi Nakajima in Bungou Stray Dogs, Resasuke in Aggretsuko and the list goes on.
There that's about all of them, I'm sorry this post took so long. But I was busy with other things, so taking the time to make this post was gonna take a while. But I'm glad I made it because now everyone can learn more about the english voices behind these brothers the way I did with their seiyuus.

Me explico.
Vamos dando pasos poco a poco.
Yes, again there is no recipe. I'll have to change the theme of the blog. The truth is that I want to tell you things even if they have nothing to do with the kitchen...or yes.
Image from page "Zero Waste Europe"
For a few years I have been following the movement called "zero waste" in Europe and the United States. The first video I saw was Lauren Singer's "Trash is for tossers" in a TEDxTeen talk. In it she explains why she has decided to take this lifestyle. She was an environmental student. One day she realized the amount of garbage that was generated daily in hes class. At that moment she decided to change her life. Those are the things that make you wonder what kind of life you lead and what kind of life you want to lead. In case I had not told you before, I'm a biologist. Obviously, I have always been interested in the planet I live on, but it has been hard for me to reach the point where I am today, that point where you are aware of what you do, produce and consume.   Everything happened shortly after deciding to radically change my diet. The truth is that it made no sense to stop using certain products for the love of animals and the environment and continue using plastic indiscriminately, or generating garbage, as if this were to magically disintegrate. Last Christmas I was given the book by Bea Johnson, "Zero Waste Home". It was then when I was fully aware of how absud is the human being, and that instead of walking forward, we seem to be going backwards. I explain.
I remember going shopping with my grandmother and carrying cloth bags. I remember how in the greengrocer they weighed the product and put it directly in the shopping cart. In case it was a fragile product, they made a paper cone and put it inside. In the butcher shop and the fish market everything was wrapped in paper and then, in the case of fish, they put newspaper on the outside. The plastic bags that were at home ended up being the "garbage bag". In my house, on the drying terrace, there was a box that contained the "returnable glass bottles" of the drinks that were consumed.  The milk came in glass bottles that were also returned (except when we were in San Esteban, we bought Mrs. Rosa's milk and we carried a pot). The fact is that the "zero waste" method has always been used, even if we were not aware of it ... but at some point, we were all very modern and we became idiots. Now everything has to be wrapped in plastic (those stores that have a cauliflower or broccoli wrapped). We all have to drink coffee in some absurd glasses with a straw or plastic lid. We all have to carry a bottle of water, which when we empty it ends up in the bin. When we celebrate something at home, all the diches has to be made of plastic or plasticized paper, because if we use the glassware or crockery we have to mop (or put the dishwasher 😱). If we go for bread, we need to put it in a paper bag and then another plastic bag. When we buy, we no longer have time to go to corner shops, now we go to supermarket chains and everything has to be packed in poliespan trays, because that makes it easier to play Tetris in the fridge.  Well, all this has gotten out of hand, but in a way that now governments are making decisions, so we stop consuming in that absurd way. Anyway, I do not want to be a demagogue, nor give classes of anything to anyone, but at this point of the movie or change our habits or we go to hell.
My bag has evolved like children's games. Now I carry a cloth bag and inside this other two smaller...I carry a small case with metal straws and cutlery...cloth handkerchiefs...it depends on what I have to do I bring an aluminum water bottle or a cup.
Whenever we leave, in case it is inevitable to generate plastic or paper, I do not throw it in the wastebasket, I look for a suitable container. At home we are going back to the old ways. We use cloth tablecloths and napkins. I do not have paper roll, I have rags, which are washed when necessary. I do not use plastic wrap, I use "Bees Wrap", waxed paper, or better, I put a plate on top of the dish that I put in the fridge. The fruit and vegetables are bought in the greengrocer, we carry our cloth bags. I buy milk for my daughters in a dairy. I carry my glass bottles or if I can not, I go to the supermarket and buy it in glass bottles (which I then use for the dairy or to store liquids in the fridge).
In the dairy they also sell bulk horchata and yogurt. Pasta, rice, legumes, cereals and nuts also in bulk, in cloth bags or glass jars.
The few soft drinks or drinks that enter the house do so in glass bottles and if it is not possible in cans. The little meat or fish that they consume, they buy in the butcher shop and fishmonger and containers are lowered to not have to use the plasticized paper that they give them.  Maybe you're thinking that I'm crazy. At no time have I said that I do not continue to generate garbage and plastic, but I try to do it less and less. We are taking steps little by little. At the beginning a plastic bag was taken out daily. The first objective was to take it out every 3 days, then every week...now we are trying to get the "yellow bag" every month. That's the idea, I think. Being aware of what we are playing and realizing that things are much easier than we think. If we try to remember how things were done a few years ago, we will see that it is easier than we think...you just have to feel like it. I encourage you, to the extent of your possibilities, to try to take out of your lives those waste that are generated without necessity...you will tell me.  The issue of consumption in clothing, cosmetics, cleaning products and others, we'll talk later.
