My day started with some exciting updates!

The mama stray found her kittens! She brought them to my front door this morning. Unfortunately, all of my attempted socializing has gone down the drain and they're wild again, so I'm going to try my best with them.

Even more unfortunately, at least one was hurt. It had a nasty gash and it looked like it was already infected or on its way there. My hopes for getting to work early died a quick death, and I grabbed the unhappy kitten and tossed it into a carrier. Mama cat didn't seem to care, which helped.

I took the kitten to the vet. The vet verified that I was fine paying for everything (ow ow ow but what choice is there at this point,) named the kitten Kitten 1 as we don't even know a sex yet, and whisked the kitten away for full shots, testing, and wound care. I'm unsure if I'm going to foster or keep the kitten, but the vet told me that regardless, the kitten can't be around the other cats until everyone is sure there are no illnesses or infections.

Needless to say, I did not make it to work on time. I'm going to (hopefully) pick up the kitten after work, and I'll provide pictures then.

This is a livable space.#I've helped out friends and family who were struggling and let me just say...I have seen some pretty dysfunctional living spaces.#Hell I've *lived* in some very dysfunctional living spaces.#Hording dishes under the bed was always something that grossed me out but it's unfortunately something I've seen people do way too often.#The horror everyone has upon walking into WWX's 'living' set up is so consistently 'Mate how are you living like this?'#It's honestly so integral to me that WWX's 'just left home for the first time' house/room be a depression/dysfunction pit.#You can learn a lot about someon's state of mind from how they keep their living space...and this guy is oozing 'deep depression'.#I don't think he's eaten anything but foods that classify as a struggle meal in a year.#Everyone is trying to stage an intervention but he just isn't in a good enough place to help himself.#By the way: I want to steer away from shaming people who have messy homes/rooms because life *does* hit hard sometimes.#My love language is coming into your home to do your dishes and do some housework. Don't apologize for the mess king.#Nothing could top some of the places I've had to help my older siblings out of.#I'd be okay with my flatmate having a severed limb and a blood pool at this point.#As long as he lets me take out the dishes from under the bed - We're good! My standards are so low at this point.

For the twins in time AU, I genuinely wonder what kind of people the young twins grow up into because of Stan’s/Ford’s influence. Especially if it takes years for the portal to get fixed.

(Sorry if it seems like I already sent this question, I don’t know if it got sent the first time I asked)

I haven’t fully fleshed out how Ford grows up in the past but I do have thoughts on Stan presently

#he’s still his goofy brash self as well #but I do think he gets an outlet for all that through monster hunting and trips and stuff #he does get comfortable here though…#I’m thinking we have something play out that’s similar to the science fair #where they get close to being able to send him home and he breaks something or maybe even purposely sabotages it…#and I think he sneaks out a lot too #maybe he uses the secret identities in that way like when he’s in town he’ll pretend to be Pinley pinington #and that’s how he develops his scammy/improv skills #FORD ON THE OTHER HAND #I think he might actually be MORE emotionally stunted because Stan tries so hard to protect him #that it goes the other way #they kind of become reliant on each other in a really unhealthy way or maybe Stan sort of steers ford away from his smart stuff #to prevent the future from happening #not maliciously but yk #like I said I haven’t fleshed his story out as fully yet so I will get back to you #but there are some interesting possibilities #my art #ask #gravity falls #twins in time au #Stan pines #Stanley pines
