I don’t know if it’s just this fandom, man, or something about this site, but there is just SO much love and positivity around these parts. So much support and encouragement and silliness and understanding and kindness and it really all makes having a blog here feel like a lil’ home. I know there’s some hiccups, some not-so friendly critters here and there, but it really blows me away at just how caring and genuine the people are around here—reblogging the smallest of posts to give them love, shouting out people and making them feel special…. It’s amazing. Really. And words cannot describe how grateful I am for it.

I know I made a ty post, like, 23 hours ago, but for real, folks, thank you for being so kind. Each and every one of you. Whether you speak a lot or you don’t. Whether you’re anon or not. You could be a jerk, you could be a troll, you could make people feel like garbage to try and make yourself feel like gold. But you don’t. That‘s some extreme strength and courage right there, and it really goes a long way toward making this site a safe and habitable place to be.

ok so here's the thing. i am a very lazy person and also, my last few weeks were very intense (moving out, not to mention i had to do it all by myself because i have no family or close friends here who could help and i still have a few stuff i have to pick up from my ex, also working most of the time and i have to say i was really exhausted + it was hard for me emotionally but i am feeling better now, my coping mechanisms can work real magic). i didn't really have much time to think about it. BUT i do have my little creatures here with me so everyone say hello to my cuties, i present to you my ✨️IKEA✨️ collection:

come from away is so insanely important to me

just watched it for the first time in a long time (one of the few things apple has ever done right is making the pro-shot accessible) and cried 7 times. not just because it's both one of the happiest and most devastating musicals ever but also because i miss newfoundland so much and can't wait to go back.

i miss my (not actually related) family out there. it feels like an age since ive been back home.

✨ Obnoxious foodie birthday post incoming ✨

If you ever find yourself Baltimore way I can sing highly the praises of Cosima, a seasonal/ mostly locally sourced Sicilian restaurant that truly owns my heart ft. My Birthday Dinner- spiced Italian beer and an amaro Manhattan. Mussels with Italian sausage. Pizza of the day with chili oil, bacon, and scallops. The bar and original mill structure of the building. My partner's red snapper and saffron risotto and my roast duck with spiced potato and cranberry confit with broccolini (truly Christmas in a dish?). They then surprised us with Panna Cotta with cardamom, amaretto cherries, and blood oranges, and a glass of sparkling rose, alongside the limoncello tiramisu we had ordered.

This is going to be the most pretentious thing is say on this fuckin site but- if you go, you like fish, and they don't sell out? Order the Branzino. You won't be disappointed.
