I think the most fucked up part about My Hero's ending is that Izuku is genuinely not even phased by One For All being gone. From the moment he got it to the moment he lost it, he truly believed it wasn't his and that he didn't deserve it. That his dream was always borrowed, and never his own. He never recovered from his past, he truly believed he could not be a hero without a quirk. He never got the help he really needed.

In that way, it actually is really nice that everyone helped him get the robotic suit so he could become a hero again. In a way, Katsuki extending his hand for Izuku to join him in heroics is a way of righting the wrongs of the past, and encouraging him to be a hero without a quirk.

and he tries his best to avoid getting too hurt so you have as little to worry about as possible

he knew how much this was going to hurt both of you, but he’d rather do this than put your life at risk

the whole time he was away, he had to fight through the pain of being away from you for so long

but when the rest of class 1A finally got him to come back, one of the first things he did was fall asleep on the couch with you

like people are taking bakugou’s pov at face value too much and acting like this is the last time bakudeku will ever see each other when. no…..? people are talking about how these chapters have mischaracterized izuku when THEY ARE THE ONES DOING IT and it’s actually making me so irritated. no izuku isn’t abandoning him, he’s just taking his own hero path and doing it the way he wants to do it. he doesn’t want to work under katsuki’s agency. he wants to pave his own path. he wants to be his own hero. that’s been his whole thing the entire time. but it is not him completely DITCHING KATSUKI FOREVER.
