I took off from work today to run some errands and get groceries due to not much going on in the office but the building being remodeled, and a huge storm came in much earlier than expected this morning (it’s was supposed to come at noon.)

My boss sent me a text saying “you’re so lucky you took off. This storm is horrible and the construction is next to our offices today. Enjoy being warm and dry at home ☺️”

Meanwhile I was caught in the storm in the Walmart parking lot with a broken umbrella like

ARCEUS' PLATES THERE'S SO MUCH WATER EVERYWHERE. i found my nav in a puddle of it, screen-down. it's... not broken, which is very nice and good of it. still at 100%. i... this is like a mini ocean. why is it on the walls? the celling?

olympics coming up…… athlete aus on the mind….. satoru as a swimmer….. unreasonably large wingspan…. huge hands..... thinks “official” competitions and tournaments are boring because he can’t use the goofy purple googly eyes goggles he likes to practice in…… practices at ungodly hours solely because he likes when the pool is empty because that means you’ll dip your feet in at the edge and be there to greet him with a kiss when he’s finished his laps….. they bring up the stats board and it’s just his name ten times before the next fastest person and he could still lap them, and even tho he’ll always put so much pressure on himself to be the best, it’s worth it to have you hold his face and tell him you’re proud of him... he’s gotten so much merch from events and sponsorships and he used to think they just created clutter but that all changes when you start to wear his clothes (esp the ones with his name on it… he’s not proud to admit that does Something to him)…. always looks up to the stands when he finishes a race and if he knows you’re not there, he looks right at the camera, draws an infinity sign with his fingers, and blows a kiss (which, some commentators routinely call “unsportsmanlike conduct” but he doesn’t care, and always, publicly says he’ll pay the fees if it means blowing a kiss to his girl at home)

weirdly specific pro tip: if you have bleached hair that previously had a lot of product in it and you wash it, do not let it air dry in a bun because it will feel like glue for days

This was the best ending they could give to us…I started crying so badly

This show means a lot to me. In a way I don’t even understand why. But those characters? Hunter and Omega. They changed me so much. They are so important to me

So, seeing them get a proper happy ending, together, in a dear like in Pabu, just felt…like a dream.

I’m not used to happy endings to stories. This was one I was sure would end with tragedy.

But it didn’t. I wish Tech was still here, with them. Cuz now they are a family actually being able to be one. Without the war…

They got rest and love…
