Sooo, to absolutely no one's surprise the new Percy Jackson reboot kicked me into full-blown pjo brainrot mode again lol. I saw these super cute fits and some vintage photos of Venice alleyways floating around on Pinterest and was consumed with the need to draw the Di Angelo siblings in them (it's probably wildly "historically and geographically" inaccurate for them, but we're just going to have to deal with the fact that I'm dumb and uncultured xD It's the vibes™ that count, okay!)

The conflict forced us into repeated evacuations, and our home suffered damage, including the theft and destruction of my essential art equipment and tablet. Each stolen piece held not just monetary value but years of dedication and creativity and hard work. We are left HOMELESS, UNSAFE, SICK with VERY LITTLE FINANCIAL SECURITY!

Our family consists of:

• My mother, 62 years old.

• My sister Mai, 35 years old, who is also visually impaired.

I sat quietly and drew. and suddenly my graphics tablet died. then it turned out that the pen was dead. but that doesn't make me feel any better. the delivery of a new pen should wait a month. sadness, tragedy and drama. I'll just show a piece of Terzo.

Sorry for the lack of art/posts/interactions, I went in vacation for few days (nobody missed me probably, for I had internet and I've checked the various socials sporadically, but still...lol) and returned today. It's good to be back. Good news, plants (less one orchid that died), cat and fish are all fine. Bad news is not having my dog here anymore (he passed away right when me and my sister left. The second day. I'll miss my boy. He was old, so it was expected tbh, but man...It still sucks. I just hope he was happy while he stayed with us.). So yeah...I'll have to try to get used to the usual routine. Now I have access to my graphic tablet. I'll try to be a lil more active. No promises, but I'll do my best. Art-ing isn't easy when uninspired. But I'll see what can I do. In meanwhile, I'll show you some bad pics of Egg and the goldies. Egg looks even bigger than before. A good.

And have some things I found in shops while I was still in vacation. (Yes, I bought the fish.)

After being on hold for my goofy animation, I was drawn back to finishing this lovely angst piece. Sun & Moon Show inspired (promise I do other Sun Moon art too!). The juicy drama is ripe for the picking.

I had a lot of fun with the shadows. My graphic tablet died right as I finished it so I had to tighten my belt and order a new one…. Cest la vie.

Helouu, Im back with more content for my HOTD reptiles AU uwu. I’m kind of losing my marbles here, normally I use corel painter to do my stuff, but for some reason the program has been giving me the middle finger really hard, recently I had to replace my graphic tablets pen and I havent used the program in some time, so I don’t even know why now it doesn’t wanna work anymore ;w;, it frezees and crashes and to be able to work I need to save my work like every brush stroke I do, and its just crap. Every time the damn thing died it made a back up and by the time I had like 10 I just couldn’t... so I had to completely change my approach, another program another brush, but I still liked it a lot, just took me a couple days to decide and find something else I was comfortable enough to work with, I’ve been using the same brush for years and I’m really attached to the damn thing, and Corel support its gonna take some time to solve my problem, so I think I’ll just do the whole series of drawings in this new style, tough I really like and miss how my brush usually blends things and argggg, well, I hope you all don’t mind the huge learning curve you will totally get to see while I get used to the new brush and everything, for now I’ll give you an unfinished grandma Vhagar that I was really happy with, but just couldn’t finish for the love of god, and the Jacegon drawing 😄, with little Vermax the jackson chameleon and Sunfire the sulcata tortoise 💕. I think I’m gonna redo the Lucemond first drawing with this stile too, that way it will be coherent and I’ll be able to finish it more to my taste. More details for the AU: -Jace and Aegon ran away to Italy and started their own wine company called “The usurper” 😂. -Of course they totally did not buy a vineyard state on a coozy hill with their trust fund, nope. -Oh yes, Sunfire the golden, the official grape tester for the wine, yes...Vermax its there for moral support and to eat any bugs that dare to interrupt them or show in the grapes. -And obviously Aegon had to join to, gotta make sure that wine its just the best of the best for their new company. -Jace may not approve now but he’ll see the light for sure. -Alicent and Rhaenyra are totally giving them money “as investors” so they dont starve while they start the company, like the complete privileged kids they are 😂.

Just noticed, I never really did a faq. So, I'm not really a "communicant" (does that word exist?!) but I'll try the exercise with the questions people asked me.

Present yourself I'm an artist from France, always was and always will. I'm catholics, no proselytism everyone is my brother, but if you're from a sect, you can take the back door to hell.

How do you work? I do all my drawings by hand, then I chose the ones I like the most -not especially the best ones- and I clean them. Then scan it and put digital colors on it, I only publish online a very small amount of my drawings though. I do the same with my paintings, but I rarely put them online. I usually compile all the drawings I did into books for professional printing to keep a trace of everything I did for my "old" days and my after death heirs. I'm drawing a lot of comics too, but the amount of it is too big to scan it -_-.

Do you use a tablet? No. I never was at ease with it, maybe it's because I'm an Asperger, but I need to feel the paper under my hands and have "full-control" of what I'm doing. Plus, because of the disease, I have a paresthesis on the right side of my body. It's ok now, but there are many stuff I can't do with the right hand, including the work with a graphic tablet, and usually you need dexterity with your both hands for this thing. So, mouse!

What program do you use? My old Photoshop cs2!!! No really I tried the x9 and never got use to it, and some other softwares but NO. I have my habits. I really think it doesn't matter which software you're using as long as you feel good with it.

Do you use android apps? Nope, I know I'm not fun, but the reasons are the same.

What are your inspiration? Before drawing into this "style", I was looking for one that could fit me, and as I was a huge fan of the Escaflowne anime, I started with that. Then I don't know, I didn't read a lot of mangas in my life when I think of it, but I enjoyed Kaori Yuki and Shiori Teshirogi's books. Now I rarely read it anymore. It happened a lot of times for people to send me the list of all the mangas they like, but I didn't know a huge part of the titles xd. For the colors, I just like it that way -u-.

Did you think of stopping to draw? I won't explain too much my disease, but I nearly died. So drawing as a pro was my last thought you know. Drawing is a passion for me, I just don't care if I'm popular or not, I just enjoy to draw. Of course when people are buying my books I'm happy, but I'm happy as well to have done it and maybe will do others in the future. It's a revenge on all that this disease stole from me.

You're drawing since long, how old are you? Young one you're impolite, in France, you don't ask a lady about her age!! But I'm probably older enough to be your mom ahahah!
