This is a three-way poll. Only one scrungle may continue onto the next round of the scrungly little guys contest.
Louis de Funès (Hibernatus, La Grande Vadrouille)—He is THE French scrungly icon, everyone knows him and either loves him for his scrungliness or fucking hates it and there's no in between. He is The Scrungly. He is Little. He is amazing. His facial expressions, his little noises, his everything - he's freaking hilarious. Also he's not afraid to crossdress in his movies and he looks fucking AMAZING in drag just saying Old men fuckers, this is your call 💪
Thomas Mitchell (It's a Wonderful Life, Stagecoach, Only Angels Have Wings)—One of those job'bing character actors who turn up in a lot of movies in bit parts. He is a very good actor, with a lot of pathos—you probably know him as the uncle from It's a Wonderful Life, or Jean Arthur's newspaper friend from Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. A salt of the earth type who brings gravitas and pathos to every part. He scrungles gorgeously.
Russ Tamblyn (West Side Story, Tom Thumb, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers)—when they were making 7 brides for 7 brothers they didn’t even hire him to dance, they were like, this is russ, he’s a redhead, we need redheads, he’s shrimpy and will do. But then. But THEN. Choreographer Michael kidd meets him and is like ‘can you do anything?’ and my boy russ is like well! I can do gymnast stuff i guess :) And he gym stuffs so well he’s like in 80% of all the dancing sequences so you think my boy, russ, my goodness, russ is a DANCER! (he can’t dance. he is just very good at doing FLIPS and GYM STUFFS.) and then he’s so so good at flipping and making it look like dancing they put him in Dance Movie of All Time, west side story. Truly scrungling your way to the top. He’s good in that tom thumb movie too I guess. Go russ go.
This is round 2 of the contest. All other polls in this bracket can be found here. If you’re confused on what a scrungle is, or any of the rules of the contest, click here.
[additional submitted propaganda + scrungly videos under the cut]
Louis de Funès:
He is a small old comedy man, what else can I say? My mom loves him and even was disappointed that such a charismatic man wasn't in the hot contest.
Well... Look at him! He started as a jazz pianist, but he became super famous for his roles of angry little guys, or grumpy little guys, or very, very fractious little guys. A comedy, and in particular physical comedy, legend! And in all of them, he is scowling, contorting himself, seething, spitting words and incoherent with rage, making the funniest faces and noises and... he's like a very, very angry wet cat. Angry Wet Cat is, in fact, the best description I can come up with!!!! He was #ScrungleLifestyle #BornScrungly #Scrungle4Life
[editor's note: I don't speak French so let me know if anything in these clips is offensive. The first two clips are mostly physical comedy and a good introduction to Louis de Funès' humor for non-French-speakers :)]

he is so silly!!!! little old man with crazy energy and facial expressions like you wouldn't believe!! the scrungliest!! he makes the most insane characters seem lovable due to his comedian skill and his scrungly quality :D my favorite actor of all times

Taylor Swift Eras themed Legacy Challenge
i wanted to put together two of my favorite things: the sims and Taylor Swift. so i came up with this 10 generation legacy challenge in which each generation is inspired by a different album. I created this challenge for the sims 2 ultimate collection since that is the game i normally play, but i am sure it can be adapted for sims 3 or sims 4. i also implemented the traits project for ts2 but you can easily do the challenge without it using different personality points. i set up this challenge so that each generation alternates genders but you can switch that up. i also chose first names for each generation based on references of the album. also some of the writing is very cheesy and has a lot of references because why not go crazy. this is my first legacy challenge so if you have any critiques let me know. the rules are not strict and cheats can be used as its a story-based challenge.
Debut- Gen 1: Mary
“Take me home where we met so many years before.
We'll rock our babies on that very front porch: After all this time, you and I”
You grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other. Your parents never had the greatest relationship and your mom was always with her best friend. Since birth you and her kid have been inseparable. Will you fall into the same patterns as your parents…or will you find a place in this world?
family/romance
LTW: reach golden anniversary
nurturing, jealous, loves the outdoors, great kisser, family oriented
marry your first love
have 2 children (at least one son)
formal wear is a little black dress
Fearless- Gen 2: Stephen
“You played in bars, you play guitar
I'm invisible and everyone knows who you are”
Your parents raised you well but something about the fact that they only ever knew each other scares you. You want to get out there and make a name for yourself. You know no ones coming for you on their white horse. You’ll have to be fearless to become a superstar: but for now all you have is your mothers eyes and her old guitar.
fortune/pleasure
virtuoso, charismatic, irresistible, ambitious, non-committal
LTW: become rock god
go on at least 5 first dates
have at least one daughter
date a fan
Speak now- Gen 3: Emma
“When Emma falls apart, it's when she's alone
She takes on the pain and bears it on her own”
You often felt overlooked by your rockstar father. He was always busy and you spent most of your time with your mother until her mysterious disappearance. You feel like you grew up too fast, and now you love to travel back to your youth and fantasize about castles and dragons. So you become an actress; a character. Will you break out of your fathers famously destructive patterns, or will you regain your balance on the tightrope and break out before fire can catch you?
popularity/romance
LTW: Become Icon
natural born performer, childish, bookworm, shy, hopeless romantic
your first love doesn't work out/ you break their heart
have at least one son
have a strained relationship with your father but a good relationship with your mother
meet your true love at a party and then never see eachother again
Red- Gen 4: Bobby
“How you took the money and your dignity, and got the hell out
They say you bought a bunch of land somewhere
Chose the rose garden over Madison Square”
You grew up in the starlight of your mothers fame. You two were always close but after suffering from the tabloids and the camera flashes you decide this life is not for you. You move out of the Angel City and start anew. Your mother has given you some funds and you build up a family home. You tell everyone you left because the city wasn’t right for you… but maybe it was partly to run from your playboy/girl ex who you know was trouble. Now you spend your life painting and searching for your muse. Will you stay paralyzed by time or finally begin again?
Knowledge/family
LTW: become visionary
artistic, eco friendly, night owl, loves the cold, loner
Have an on and off toxic relationship
Move out of your parents house
Settle down with someone nice
Have 3 children (at least one girl)
1989- Gen 5: Love
“You searched the world for somethin' else
To make you feel like what we had
And in the end, in Wonderland, we both went mad”
You grew up secluded from the world, surrounded by your mothers paintings. Your mom loved the environment but you couldn’t wait to get out of the woods and explore new places. Somewhere along the road, you fell into a rabbit hole of insanity: mascara running in the bathroom and rose gardens filled with thorns. You blow money and string lovers along. You have fantastic delusions until your wildest dreams turn into nightmares. Will you accept the help from your family and abandon your affinity for screaming, crying and perfect storms? Or will every day continue to be a battle?
knowledge/pleasure
LTW: Become space pirate
Insane, unstable, diva, adventurous, jealous
Join the adventurer career
Have 3 loves at once
Have children with multiple people (one must be boy/girl twins)
Lose money in poker
Reputation- Gen 6: Burton (the name is so bad help)
“I don't like your kingdom keys
They once belonged to me
You asked me for a place to sleep
Locked me out and threw a feast”
Yeah, your mother may have done a number on you, but who's counting? Maybe your twin sister… Everything you did, she just had to do better. In the wake of your mother’s madness, you turned to dancing. You found peace in swaying as the room burnt down. Your twin sister on the other hand hated how you were lit up every room you walked into, but you couldn’t help it. There's nothing she hates more than what she can't have… so she turned to sabotage. Just when you think that your life is perfect- you're at the top of your career and you finally found love- your sister starts a rumor that you cheated on your love. Your reputation as a famous dancer goes down in seconds. But to your surprise, your lover isn't reading what they call you lately and your relationship is stronger than ever. Will you get revenge on your sister and become exactly what you despise, or sit back and let karma take over?
Popularity/romance
LTW: Become world class ballerina
Party animal, irresistible, social butterfly, hot headed, unlucky
Be enemies with your twin sister
Never be unfaithful
Have a bad reputation
Have at least one daughter
Lover- Gen 7: Cornelia
“I’d be a fearless leader, I'd be an alpha type
When everyone believes ya, what's that like?”
You've always known you wanted to change the world. Who cares if you were overlooked and discouraged. Snakes and stones won’t break your bones. You never had a big family as your father walked away from his. Sometimes it gets lonely trusting the wicked, and your loyalty was often a fault. You turn to politics to combat your feelings of helplessness, but no one takes you seriously and you feel lost in the light. You have to start from the ground up with the help of your best friend. You start to build your picture-perfect life: the kids, the lyrical smiles and the power. Will you drive away your lover by searching for their dark side, or will you put aside your ways and find the daylight?
Popularity/family
LTW: Become mayor
Good, easily impressed, brave, unlucky, perfectionist
Fall in love with your best friend
Have 10 best friends
Have children (at least one son)
Folklore- Gen 8: James
“I had the shiniest wheels, now they're rusting
I didn't know if you'd care if I came back
I have a lot of regrets about that”
You grew up trying to meet the expectations of your politician mother. Everything had to be picture perfect, even your private life. So she set you up with the daughter of one of the most powerful families in town, Betty. At first you are skeptical, but over time you fall for her integrity and affinity for old cardigans. Along the way you begin to feel stuck, tired of the sensual politics and your mother’s watchful eye. That's when you meet August -the polar opposite of Betty- and some part of you has to know what she is like. You meet in parking lots and dive bars, but after Betty finds out, you realize that summer is dwindling. In wake of losing two girls, you turn to writing: poetry and sad prose. You get lost in your stories, but once you start to gain traction, you can’t help but wonder how different your life could have been. Will you rekindle your wild flame with August or go back to the peace you felt with Betty?
knowledge/ romance
LTW: Publish 5,000$ best seller*
Great kisser, coward, bookworm, brooding, commitment issues
Fall in love with Betty
Fall in love with August
Confess to cheating on Betty
Write novels
Move into a cottage by a lake
Finally choose the one girl
Have at least one daughter with her
Evermore- Gen 9: Ivy
“And the skeletons in both our closets
Plotted hard to fuck this up
And the old men that I’ve swindled
Really did believe I was the one”
You always resented your father because he abandoned the good life for a cottage in the woods and his stories. You don’t want that; you want power and wealth. You don't need love, just a fancy car. So you turn to crime, because it’s easy for you; you love the gold rush. You con men and no one will ever prove it. You marry rich men and inherit their money when their time runs out. But then one day you meet your match, a fellow criminal, and wonder if this life will really bring you happiness. But you realized this a little too late, and now you're forced to drink your husband's wine… but he was the wrong guy. Will you leave the life of crime behind or will you stay frozen in time?
Fortune/pleasure
LTW: Gold digger
Kleptomaniac, genius, charismatic, mean-spirited, rebellious
Go into the criminal career
Marry a rich sim
Fall in love with a criminal and have an affair
Have a son
Midnights- Gen 10: Snow
“And I don't dress for villains
Or for innocents
I'm on my vigilante shit again”
You knew your mom wasn’t the most ethically-correct person. You like to think you inherited her better half; but that isn’t entirely true. You are determined to be different, so you become a spy; you get the satisfaction of working for the good guys and the pleasure that comes with great wars. Being a spy is difficult though, and you never know when things could go wrong. You are constantly burning files and deserting old lives. But you’re a mastermind, nobody can deny that. You finally meet your perfect person, but it's hard concealing your true occupation from them. You have money and respect… But can all of that pay for someone to just know you?
Fortune/knowledge
LTW: Become head of the SCIA
Perceptive, disciplined, loner, proper, daredevil
Join the intelligence career
Move homes at least twice
The rest is up to you since it is the last generation

2023 wrapped: cdrama edition!
taking a page from @dangermousie and doing an overview of all the cdramas i watched this year (i'll do one for kdramas later)! listed in order of least favorite to most favorite. favorite =/= objectively best/most well-made. just the ones i had the most fun watching.
15 have a crush on you. oh dear lord. this drama should be a case study for what happens when a bad drama has charismatic actors and they keep you trapped hostage. i watched this whole damn thing hating every minute of it on behalf of the poor female lead who definitely deserved better. the ending? absolutely batshit, and not in a fun way. one of the weirdest, worst endings ive seen since with you
14 back from the brink. too kitschy for me, i didn't last long on this one (i think 2 eps lol).
13 gone with the rain. i wanted to like this one because i love sean sun and troll general is exactly what i want out of life. but i didn't like the weird daydream asides, constant animal noise sound effects, and i found everyone kind of off-putting in a non-watchable way, so i peaced out really quick--ep 4ish
12 here we meet again. i love janice wu. i continue to try out her dramas hoping for something to grab me again. this one was pretty boring/too focused on the work element and not the rest of it.
11 exclusive fairytale. i have a secret weakness for youth-to-working-life dramas, so tried this one out. flat, not a lot of chemistry, and very color-by-numbers. the show was clearly made to vehicle jun, and that's okay, but not my thing
10 the starry love. i wanted to like this one because the side characters were fun and i loved the male lead/prince of heaven and all his awkward "please leave by 9" energy. but it bored me overall and unlike most folks i had no interest in the demon secondary ship. i dropped around ep 10
9 my journey to you. it kills me to rank this one so low because it was my most anticipated cdrama this year, but i just couldn't get into it. the pacing was too slow for me, and i couldn't stand how everyone talked to each other (long. pauses. and then. staring. and then. whispers. always the. whispers). i dropped this around midway
8 the love you give me. the chemistry between the leads was cute and it was a decent modern romance. started losing me around the midpoint when the paternity reveal hit and the ML got way into boundary crossing because of it
7 circle of love. objectively not a good drama. in fact, a toxic and batshit drama that has probably made me a worse person for watching it. but gd did my messy ass enjoy the trainwreck.
6 road home. you really got to be in the mood for this one, but it's a nice, understated and slow melo romance. but def not a bingeable show since it takes its time with everything
5 wonderland of love. another drama that i dont think is objectively great, but two competent schemers/martial artists trying to one-up each other is like ship catnip for me and this was a show that lived or died by its ship. surprisingly tame for the screenwriter, and had a happy ending! popcorn watch.
4 till the end of the moon. me and this drama were in a bad romance, which i suppose is thematically appropriate. i hated parts of it, i was super invested in others. the post-dream human arc was giving wuthering heights tragic obsession incredibleness. even with its flaws, i think most of cdramaland is in agreement that lyx/tantai jin stole the ML competition this year. great gowns, beautiful gowns
3 story of kunning palace. i adored the characters in this drama! even when the plot was losing my interest, everyone was cast so well and had so much charisma that i stayed pretty hooked from ep 10ish on. absolutely loved the mean high school theatre director wreck that was xie wei, as well as the other (imo) true love interest of the show, princess leyang. the desperate speech about being like iron is gonna live rent-free in my head
& then 1&2 are way ahead of the others for me this year/a very close race between them!
2 a journey to love. i love this drama so much!!! i have not skipped or speed watched a single scene which for me is a huge feat! great character work across the board -- even the side characters have a lot of nuance and interesting dynamics between them. beautiful fight scenes. great ost. one of the best, most balanced main couples ive seen in a show. it's gonna break my heart in a few eps when it ends, but i'll be happy about it
1 lost you forever (s1). this drama came out of NOWHERE and the vicegrip it had on me while it was airing!!! my favorite FL this year (although a journey to love's ruyi is a close second), and just a ton of fun while also being quietly devastating in parts. i loved how lived in and tired the FL felt, enjoyed the various flavors of mess from her love interests, and enjoyed how extra it could go while still giving us really grounded and complicated characters. this drama gets extra points for converting me on several actors i did not think that highly of before the show.
overall, despite how many i dropped (lol writing it out made me realize i dropped so, so many), cdramas delivered for me this year! my top two are on my short list for favorite dramas, period. everyone go watch a journey to love and lost you forever if you havent yet!!!
AWARDS
Favorite ship: definitely goes to ruyi and yuanzhou from a journey to love. it's just nice to see a couple that mutually supports each other's murders
Favorite FL: xiaoyao from lost you forever with ruyi from journey to love as a very close runner-up. i am here for this year's theme of competent, jaded ladies trying to reclaim their lives
Favorite ML: objectively, tantai jin from till the end of the moon should win this, but story of kunning palace's xie wei was just so entertainingly grumpy, petty, and unhinged which is a winning combo for me.
Favorite 2FL: princess yang ying from a journey to love. she's doing amazing and im proud of her!!
Favorite 2ML: technically third male lead, but xiang liu from lost you forever was my favorite to watch and had the best tuxedo mask exits
Best Cast: a journey to love, i literally adore all of them, even the ones i hate
Best Blood Cough: tantai jin, you beautiful bastard who needs a bib

Alright then... all 50 "Honest Favorite Character" prompts for Griffith. pls?
( @izunias-meme-hole )
ALL 50 HERE WE GO *cracks knuckles*
1. Do you project onto this character?
No. He's an asshole.
2. Did you always like this character?
The second I saw him all those years ago, I recognized him for the punkass little shit he was and instantly fell in love.
3. What first drew you to this character?
At the beginning of Golden Age, Griffith is incredibly charismatic. It's kind of one of his most defining features.
4. Did you initially dislike/hate this character?
No. ALTHOUGH NOW I CERTAINLY DO.
5. If this character were a woman, would you honestly still like them? Or in reverse, what if they were a man?
Griffith's appeal is all about the writing on him. Miura wrote some excellent female characters as well so I don't think it would change regardless of whether or not Griffith was a woman.
6. Do you have any nicknames or pet names you use for this character?
"THAT FUCKER."
7. Does the character’s age matter to you?
I think Griffith is supposed to be young and almost boyish at times. At least during Golden Age. It's honestly kind of hard to picture him as someone older.
8. Does the character’s looks/design matter to you?
In his case, 100% yes. He's supposed to be charismatic on both a physical and social level. That's how he gets you. The man is a serpent who uses people's attraction to him to his advantage.
9. Does this character remind you of anyone you know? Does that affect how you see them?
If I knew someone who acted like Griffith in real life, I'd be very, very concerned.
10. Do you see yourself in this character even without projecting?
No. The only thing I can maybe associate with myself is that we are both clingy people. But that's where the similarities end.
11. How did you “fall in love” with this character?
MIURA'S S-TIER WRITING ADFGHNFDS Griffith's character arc is so fucked up yet so profoundly interesting to watch.
12. If you could write effortlessly and as much as you wanted, what story (s) would you write for this character?
No attempt. I could not do this character justice.
13. If you could draw effortlessly and as much as you wanted, what scene (s) would you draw for this character?
That fucker getting cleaved in half.
14. Are you physically attracted to this character?
I think EVERYONE is sorta supposed to be physically attracted to him to a certain degree. That said, he's a bit too femboyish for me lolol
15. Are your thoughts surrounding this character usually sexual, non-sexual, or a mix of both?
Non-sexual. After what he did, VERY non-sexual.
16. Have you ever cried when thinking about this character? Genuinely?
No. Part of me pities him during that part of the plot where he gets tortured. But otherwise? No tears here.
17. Have you ever felt physical pain over this character? (ex: physical heartache).
NOPE.
18. Do you prefer to see this character suffer or know peace? Angst or comfort? Both?
FUCK HIM HE DESERVES TO SUFFER ASEDFGHFDS HE MIGHT BE MY FAVORITE BERSERK CHARACTER BUT I WANT THIS FUCKER TO DIE A SLOW AND PAINFUL DEATH
19. Does this character serve as a stress ball/ security blanket for you? Something you run to after a bad day to feel safe or happier?
"haha well at least I'm not as much of a bad friend as Griffith amirite"
20. Do you feel affectionate towards this character?
Yes. In the most I-love-you-because-I-hate-you kind of way.
21. Are your feelings about this character platonic, romantic, or familial? All of these feelings at once maybe?
None of these feelings. See above.
22. Do you think you will always love this character?
Studio Gaga is doing a great job with the latest chapters. I see no reason to dip out.
23. Has this character permanently altered or impacted your psyche in a way you won’t forget?
I think all of Berserk has done that tbh
24. Do you ever dream about this character? If so, describe a dream you once had about them.
No dreams. Thank god. If I dreamt about Griffith, I'd sleep with a cross under my pillow.
25. What kind of fan-fiction do you read about this character? If you don’t read fan-fics about them, why not?
I honestly don't read Berserk fic. Idk why--I think the story or characters are just too difficult to replicate.
26. If you look for this character’s name on AO3, what tags are you including or excluding?
N/a
27. Do you like to ship this character with other characters or do you prefer not to?
Pre-Eclipse Griffith/Guts MAYBE. Otherwise, NO.
28. Do you get defensive about this character? If yes, then why?
I do feel like there are some misinterpretations of his character here and there. But I get that because he's sometimes very difficult to get a good read on.
29. Do you affectionately bully this character?
Hahaha LET'S KILL HIM.
30. Are you especially sensitive about this character?
😊😊😊🔥
31. Are you ashamed of liking this character?
No. He's the best villain in anime fight me.
32. If you could make this character a meal, what would you make them?
Poison.
33. Are you “blinded by love” for this character or do you accept any flaws they may have?
I love him BECAUSE of his flaws. He is a horrid, horrid creature who deserves NOTHING.
34. Does this character inspire you with little things in your daily life?
Griffith inspires me to keep my dreams realistic.
35. Has this character ever prevented you from sleeping because you can’t stop thinking about them?
Me at 3am: "Man I hope Guts shanks that bastard"
36. Do you feel a spiritual/soulmate connection with this character?
NO.
37. Is your love for this character a secret from people you know in real life?
ALSO NO. I never shut up about Berserk lmao
38. Do you tend to joke more about dying or killing for this character? Both? What causes the distinction?
Oh I'm not joking 😊
39. Do you feel lovesick over this character?
NO.
40. Are you very empathetic towards this character? When they feel a certain way in the story, do you feel those emotions too?
I actually think it's really important to be able to empathize with villains to a certain degree. Griffith is VERY easy to empathize with during Golden Age. He's one of those villains where you completely understand WHY he does the things he does. I really love the writing behind it. But while I empathize with him, I don't JUSTIFY what he does. There's no justification.
41. Do you prefer to interact with this character directly via self-insert/reader type content? Or do you enjoy seeing them mostly with other characters in the story and/or your OCs?
Honestly if he interacted with a self-insert he'd probably just trick or backstab them in the end.
42. If you could, would you write this character a song or poem?
LOL no.
43. What type of weather makes you think of this character?
...Eclipses 😊
44. Which season makes you think of this character?
Winter 😊
45. Do you feel as if you are intimately familiar with this character?
It's hard to tell because the story of Berserk isn't over yet. Guess I'll find out soon.
46. How much do bad interpretations of this character upset you?
Eh, to each his own.
47. Does this character ever make you laugh sincerely?
The Berserk bloopers are so fucking funny, you guys.
48. What’s your favorite physical/design feature for this character?
Femto is such a cool wtf demonic design adfghfd
49. What’s your favorite personality trait in this character?
His manipulative nature and devious intelligence.
50. Link your fav song, playlist, aesthetic board, fan-fiction, reference pile, personal artwork, analysis post, meme, headcanon, or quote for this character. Whichever one (s) you are most comfortable with!
Don't have anything here, sorry :'D

Going back to when I made some self-ship drawings last Sunday, I decided to do a self-ship meme after seeing one by @candyheartedchy with my top crushes as follows:
Anna x Mikey (Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2012) - Lovable Dorks
As one of my biggest fictional crushes, Mikey and I have quite a few things in common, such as pizza, video games, sweet tooth, cats AND we literally enjoy having fun with our friends and loved ones!
Anna x Arthur “Artie” Pendragon (Shrek the Third) - Awkward Boy and Friendly Girl
Of course, not everyone agrees with Shrek the Third being a bad movie in the Shrek franchise since I find it a guilty pleasure not only because I love seeing Fiona with the princesses, but also because of my childhood crush on teenage Arthur “Artie” Pendragon. Yeah, I know how awkward he is, but that’s one of the qualities I like in my perfect man.
Anna x Greg Heffley (Diary of a Wimpy Kid) - Platonic Pining
Ever since I read the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books during my childhood well into my college years, Greg Heffley and I go way back when my mom got me the fifth book, called The Ugly Truth and because I could relate so much to him, I got more of the books and even the 3-movie collection on DVD for my 19th birthday last year. But since the books as a whole mostly targets kids, the pining is platonic just to keep the relationship clean and family-friendly.
Anna x Corky (Snorks) - Height Difference
I love most of the Snorks characters all the same like Allstar, Casey, Dimmy, Daffney, Tooter, Junior, Dr. Gallio, Jo-Jo and especially Corky as another fictional crush. But since he’s no bigger than my thumb, he would be covered in loads of lip gloss when I shower him with kisses. Nonetheless, though, I love him for his courage and heart of gold.
Anna x Tin Man (The Wizard of Oz) - Tragic Past x Ray of Light
Because of how big his heart is, the Tin Man is always there to help me feel better when I’m not feeling good. But since he cries easily due to his sensitive nature and especially when he used to be human back before he became the Tin Man, I would return the favor by comforting him, which makes us the emotional support duo.
Anna x Fly (Help! I’m A Fish/A Fish Tale) - Friends to Lovers
Since I enjoyed watching Help! I’m A Fish/A Fish Tale as a kid loads of times, Fly, Stella, Chuck, Sasha and Professor MacKrill have been my favorite characters from the movie and just like all the other fans of this flick, I especially liked Fly and we’d fairly get along if I were in his neighborhood before crushing on him as he accepts my crush on him.
Anna x Balan (Balan Wonderworld) - Theatrical Duo
While Balan Wonderworld wasn’t exactly the best video game of 2021, Balan himself was another dude I had a huge crush on. He’s very charismatic, dramatic, playful and funny. Not to mention that we both love musical theater as a common interest and there’s a mutual respect between the two of us and his Tims since he’s incredibly gentle.
Anna x Balthazar (The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part) - Flirty Femboy and Blushing Beauty
Ever since The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part came out when I was 14 years old, I felt my heart skipping a beat hearing the soothing sound of Balthazar’s voice and mentioning that he’s an attractive, non-threatening teen vampire, plus he wears makeup and mom jeans and enjoys music. He’s one flirty femboy, which is seriously making me blush.
Anna x Jack Frost (Rise of the Guardians) - Winter Twins
Going back to when I watched DreamWorks’ Rise of the Guardians on Netflix, Jack Frost, the Guardian of Fun by all means, just had to be one of my next big fictional crushes. He’s playful, just like me and we both have winter birthdays, despite being born in separate months.

how about dale redmayne for the character ask?? :]
YEAH DALE MY BOY DALE
I have so many thoughts and I am going to try not to spend all night writing this even though it's sorely tempting. It's surprising to me just how much we can pull from the little we've been given and like some idiot dog I've taken that and run off with it while shaking it in my mouth
First impression: Pretty sure the first I became aware of his existence is Fool for Love, which is tricky because Buck is the world's least reliable narrator so it's really hard to know how much of that video to trust (and also confusing that they cast Stevin here as Dale, I... have to assume because it was just convenient but in retrospect after watching Vide Noir this could also represent some real confusion on Buck's part I guess). I guess the best I can say is that he was intriguing and I was a quick fan but also like, there wasn't much more to say. Some point afterward I became aware that he's the writer for all of the Phantom Riders' music and boy that is where the fun starts.
Impression now: Dale my beloved mess, Dale I feel so bad, Dale!! You keep losing people!!! god
Basically, here we have a guy who is clearly pretty brilliant at songwriting, both in terms of instrumentation and lyrics. He has to have a ton of creativity, intelligence, and passion to pull this off, I mean, consider all of the Phantom Riders' tracks and work out how those lyrics could have come from the mind of a Latino kid growing up in East LA in the 50s-60s, where the state was not exactly prioritizing their education. It would have taken an enormous amount of drive to shrug that off and start a band and write songs like these and make that work somehow (and certainly people did - Ritchie Valens might be one of the most well known today but there were many others).
Somehow he's able to balance that with evidently some kind of leadership status in the World Enders (both he and Alex have been named leaders, and since they're brothers, possibly co-leaders? that's how I interpret it but there are other options, like Dale left most of the leadership to Alex so he could pursue music, perhaps). Whether he's top dog or not, if we can trust Fool for Love at all he has some kind of higher status and a close circle of trusted folks who will fight by his side. Between these two facts, gang leader and rock musician, he probably has a pretty charismatic personality that lends itself well to leadership and stage performance, on top of the clear intelligence and creativity the music shows us.
And then! Somewhere in here, his brother is murdered, and Rigo (the band's drummer so presumably also a good friend) goes missing. A lot of the song lyrics seem to be a response to Johnnie's death in some way. My heart goes out to this poor dude so much because he lost a lot but the World Enders do truck on with their nihilism and he'll cope in whatever way he's able while accepting that death is just another fact of life even if it fucking sucks when it's your little brother and who knows if Rigo is dead or alive now too.
What? Oh that was supposed to be my impression now. I have so much impression.
Favorite moment: We are shown very little of him in action but I'm pleased that Miguel gets to briefly and temporarily depict him having a hell of a good time on stage in the underground club in the movie. I would love a whole fictional recorded live performance because the guy must absolutely have so much stage presence. Alternatively please give me more of his non-music side as delightfully violent gang leader alongside his brother. This is now a wishlist of moments.
Idea for a story: I'm interested in the balance between public and private life when you have someone who is a rock musician known well enough to have been on TV for a live performance in the 60s, and also absolutely a notorious criminal. I know obviously that this is a real scenario for a lot of folks these days but most current gang members that I am aware of who are releasing music are mostly doing a lot of self-promotion on, say, youtube. The social media and music industry environments today are very different from how they were in the 60s - there would have been a lot less opportunity for everyone to try to make it big back then, I feel like, meaning that somehow Dale is getting on using his real name and face and everything on television performing and like, there were fewer TV channels then, he has an opportunity to be a household name for his music, and then somehow he is able to step off stage and slip his black jacket and knife back on and get to business carjacking or whatever. Aside from "why has he not been arrested after a gig yet", what is that shift like, from street to stage and back? I don't know if I'll write that but it's an interesting thought to explore.
Unpopular opinion: Man if anyone has popular opinions about him to begin with I don't know them.
Favorite relationship: Well, like I said with Alex, his brothers. This trio is just so much trouble and I need to know more. Unlike with Alex, Johnnie doesn't mention Dale by name in the film (which is weird but hey I didn't write the script) - but it's obvious he still has a lot of affection for his brother's band, and vice versa Johnnie is on the cover of the Phantom Riders' album Black Brained in between two unnamed members, which may well be in honor of him after his death, so, there's a lot of love there, once again.
Favorite headcanon: Oh you want even more headcanon do you? Cool. I write Dale as the smug, cocky, very self-assured middle brother. The one who, unlike the other two, actually tries to keep up with the news, who has probably already burned his draft card while laughing hilariously about the audacity of the government to ask that of him while they give nothing in return, and who is very visibly a womanizer while quietly treating himself to pretty boys on the side. It's sex, drugs, and rock and roll all the time and you can't and won't stop him, and if you don't notice that he's smarter than he lets on, all the better, he doesn't give a single shit what you think. The World Enders are his family and he will fight fiercely for all of them, and meanwhile he'll play guitar while working on music at any hours he pleases and fuck you if you think you get to complain about that, take it or move out.
I love Dale. A lot. Oh and he also has great tattoos. Those will get posted soon.

Ohhh how about Dick Grayson and Victor Stone for the character thing !!
Thanks for the ask!
Dick Grayson
How I feel about this character: THE blorbo, I didnt understand the word until i met him.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: I am a DIckRoy truther, but I'm also a multishipper, so Joey, Vic, Kory, I'm obsessed with DickHelena as a concept, and I truly think we as a fandom have failed with the lack of Dick/JPV
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Timmy (again) & Donna
My unpopular opinion about this character: oh this is hard. i think his cop arc was important. a lot of people say its just copaganda and hate it, but i think it was important to show that he couldn't fix the system from within, and the moment it started to get better he was no longer welcome
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I wish we could've had long lasting consequences from chemo. him getting really sick and having to take a break from NW/the fear that he might die young, but not while saving people's lives would've been so interesting to explore
Victor Stone
How I feel about this character: he's unbelievably cool, i think if he were real he'd be my favorite titan to spend time with
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Vic and Sarah were adorable, also DickVic
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Vic and Gar! I love their friendship and how long lasting it is
My unpopular opinion about this character: not sure if this is unpopular or not, but I think he's the most human of all the titans. he calls himself the "freak among freaks" but i think he's the most in touch with his humanity
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: hmm, i dont know if i know enough about him to say, so this might already be a thing, but id love to see him lead a main group. i think he's got a really good head for strategy and everyone's strengths, and he's compassionate and charismatic.

now that Hirogaru Sky is only two episodes away to end (gosh I can't accept it's ending already..) I'm gonna say my honest opinions about all the Cures! therefore let's go :]
Sora Harewataru / Cure Sky
as a leader Cure I think she is pretty awesome
I like how they did her an actual hero like not only in the theming / costume but in her personality too she is super caring and kind pretty much all the episodes that focused on her were good in a way she is a really great character for this season
also really like the fact she was the first non pink leader in Precure history (ignoring Summer because she is rainbow ig)
Nijigaoka Mashiro / Cure Prism
she is so adorable... like seriously she is such a nice little girl and this is enough for her
her relationship with Sora (and the rest of the team too but especially Sora) is so heartwarming and great to see they feel like a family
overall she is also a good character and also got some pretty nice focus episodes
Yuunagi Tsubasa / Cure Wing
my little bird baby (人*´∀`)。*゚+ I love how he is clearly the smart / more logical one of the group most of the time and they did an awesome job portraying that
I really like him I think as the first main boy Cure he is great
I just didn't vibed with the whole princess's knight stuff (not that I didn't liked it I just didn't cared about lol)
Hijiri Ageha / Cure Butterfly
she is an icon she is a legend and she is the moment
my favorite Cure from this season easily everything about her is good her design her personality her charisma just everything
for the first official adult Cure they actually wrote the "adult" part of her really good (just like Wing I wished this was more explored) like her struggling at work and thinking she is a "failure"
also really love how she is such a silly little rascal she is really the funniest and most charismatic character of Hirogaru Sky
I think she is gonna the character I'm gonna miss the most when the season ends I love her so much....
Princess Ellee / Cure Majesty
she is the only character in Hirogaru Sky I actually have a more neutral opinion than anything
as a mid season she isn't as bad as Finale or Earth to me her story was actually being constructed in the show until the moment she is reveled as Majesty
but in terms of personality... I don't have much to say since she is a baby most of the time and to add into that she doesn't even had much dialogue in the Majesty form (until now) making her really bland as a character
at least her design is pretty cool though
and that's it! as seen I really actually enjoyed every character (except Majesty whom I just acknowledge that she is there) and I can't wait to see how Wonderful is gonna be! hope we get a character dynamic as good as Hirogaru Sky ^^

7 and 25 for riku? :3
7. What's one way your OC has changed since you first came up with them?
Oh god this is one hell of an ask. There’s so much about Riku that has changed since I first conceptualized him but I think a big one is his personality. Something I’ve noticed about him is that because I’ve had him around for so long, whatever I’m interested in tends to rub off on him a little as a character both in terms of design and personality. For example when Hades released and I played it I kinda saw parallels between Riku and Zagreus and kinda took a bit of inspiration from him and put him into Riku if that makes sense? I don’t really know if that’s a good thing lmao it’s just something I personally have done for a long time (and sometimes I’m not even aware I’m doing it either). Although I will say that I am very happy with how he is now, this was more when I was still building on his personality and fleshing him out as a character!
He started out as a much more cool guy kinda character, one who was very relaxed and non serious (almost to the point of not really caring) when in the real world but in the Metaverse he was more focused and would often come up with battle strategies (and this used to be the original conflict between him and Makoto). Now I would say he’s a lot sillier overall I guess and also I think he’s more caring than when I originally first created him. He really does have a heart of gold and he cares so much about those he loves he ends up doing really stupid things because of it. In the Metaverse now he’s also wayyy more charismatic and treats everything like a game (think Dante… yeah I know) and is constantly shit talking his enemies. He knows when to shut up and get serious though. Sometimes.
25. What is your favorite thing about your OC?
Everything? OK but seriously I have a lot because Riku is so important to me but I think ultimately the thing I love most about Riku is actually how he’s effected me creatively. I started doing art again (did it a lot when I was younger then stopped cause of school actually) and even tried digital art for the first time back in 2020 and nearly 3 and a half years later and I haven’t stopped. All so I could draw this silly guy. He’s really helped me realize my passion for character design and kinda rekindled that feeling for art I had when I was a kid. And not to mention I’ve spent years planning and creating this AU and even writing stuff for him too. Wasn’t expecting to get so introspective and personal bu uh there you go.
#asks#misty-wisp#riku kirijo#oc tag#TAHNK U FOR THE ASK MISTY!!!#i think the thing about me kinda relating riku to characters i like was me trying to build a character if that makes sense#like its just an easy way for me to do it#it helps me plan them out better#does any of that make sense LMAOOOO#but yeah theres a lot about riku that has changed but im so happy with his personality now#hes my silly little guy#and yeah uh not me getting personal and slightly emotional over mine own oc and how he's effecting me ‼#looking away fr fr#but uh yeah. riku my beloved. helping me develop creatively

I wish I was more excited for Death Stranding 2. I really do, but I was so unimpressed by the first one that it’s hard to believe something great is going to happen. I know this is a pretty unpopular opinion, but for me, DS was close to greatness, to truly be a shock to the industry, and it frustrated me that it wasn’t the case.
In my opinion, DS is an amazing core gameplay loop brought down by some of the most unnecessary and pretentious style choices Kojima has ever made. Walking around in the post-apocalyptic landscape of the U.S. carrying stuff to deliver was unexpectedly engrossing, and I wish I had spent more time doing just that without interruptions. Just putting music on and negotiating the terrain while keeping my cargo intact was immersive enough. I was annoyed every time the game took me away from that to listen to characters or watch a plot I couldn’t care less about.
Because, yeah, that’s the thing. The story of Death Stranding was trying so hard to be weird and quirky and mysterious and awe-inducing that it failed every single time it asked me to take it seriously, or pay attention. The surreal apocalypse of Death Stranding has potential, I think, but the imagery invoked to depict it’s so… tryhard. Very “this is a metaphor, man” that, granted, is the MO of Kojima, but here feels gratuitous and hollow.
I was never intrigued about what was going on. I just wanted to test this sweet golden exo-skeleton I just got and see if I can reach that damned Windmill without much trouble this time.
I didn’t like any single character besides Sam, either. And that’s because Norman Reedus just seems to be playing himself, and he’s as annoyed and uninterested in the going ons of New America or whatever as I was. I don’t understand it, Kojima is well known for creating absolutely ridiculous but memorable and charismatic characters that are deep enough to care about them. The Cobra Unit it’s still my Gold Standard of how to do “weird and poignant” characters. They are practically Lynchian in how the balance between silliness and seriousness can create very powerful storytelling moments.
Here you have a boring fuck named Die-Hardman, Guillermo del Toro for some reason, and a bunch of other losers I could not be bothered to remember. One of them was called Hot Mama or something. She looked like this:
All of them feel artificial and even a little condescending when talking to you. It’s all very “we are like family here”-type of corporate poise, pretending to give a shit about you while urging you to get on with your damn job. “You are our most important collaborator, Sam! Now go cross the Mountain Made of Knives to deliver this pizza. Don’t you fucking dare to tip it over. You will have a complimentary soda from Management if you survive :D”. They literally offer you likes in return.
HR at Kojima Productions must be a fucking nightmare.
Finally hitting the road after two hours of bullshit feels good, though. Preparing your cargo, finding the non-metaphorical balance between the boxes you need to deliver and the tools you need to survive the world is the absolute best kind of Video Game Choice you can offer. The post-apocalyptic U.S. is beautiful to look at, and incredibly inviting to walk in (seriously, the primary terrain consisting of black stone, deep green moss, and rainy weather is one of the best outdoor vibes I’ve seen in any game), and the idea of slowly building up some infrastructure to make each delivery easier, or at least quicker, was amazing.
Without a doubt, my favorite moment was taking a day or two to build a zipline through the mountains. I put down the final one and came back to the starting point in a couple of minutes. After hours of hard work and resource gathering, it felt amazing. I really wish that was the whole game.
Yes, the whole game. No combat. No bosses. Hell, even no plot. Just you, a pair of sturdy boots, and some ingenuity to open yourself a path.
That’s what I mean when I say that DS was close to greatness. What if Death Stranding was a AAA Video Game dedicated to blue-collar work? Can you imagine what *that* could have done to our current hellscape of over-bloated, over designed, live service, micro-transaction infested, big budget games? Can you imagine a game of this scope and resources literally being an Uber Eats Simulator? And being successful at it?
Because, let’s be frank. Kojima’s name by itself was a guarantee of copies sold, maybe even block-busting success. If anyone in the industry could have pulled that kind of game, it was him. And I’m pretty sure that was more or less the idea, but the final product is still full of, in my opinion, unnecessary enemies, combat, shootings, set-pieces and boss fights. You know, video-gamey stuff. All wrapped up in a plot that wants to be deep and philosophical so, so bad, and fails in every single metric.
I fought the final boss (or what I think was the final boss), got killed, and then realized that I didn’t gave a fuck about the conclusion of the story. I’d rather be delivering shoes or whatever. I’d rather be admiring the scenery for a bit before moving on and getting the job done. I’d rather be listening to music.
I never finished Death Stranding. It eventually left Game Pass without me noticing.
That was a shame, I was doing great progress with a highway, and had plans to expand my zipline network. But after avoiding the game for a month or so, I decided it wasn’t worth it. All the infrastructure you build decays quickly (thanks to a Rain that Makes you Old falling almost constantly all over the map), so I figured anything I built was surely gone by then, and I would need to start from scratch. Or even worse, maybe other players might have finished it without my input. In any case, I made my peace with it. Death Stranding was a good video game, like many others, even when it had the chance to be unique. If only Kojima had decided to not include the more gamey aspects, or had an editor telling him “no” when writing the story, or didn’t have the pathological need to flex his Hollywood connections.
Death Stranding 2 looks more of the same, sadly. But at least I know I’ll have some very rad moments of solitude between boring firefights when the thing gets released on Game Pass in 2028 or so. Meanwhile I’ll keep looking for the actual walking simulator I didn’t know I needed.
Maybe that is going to be my very own Death Stranding, I guess.

Comprehensive info post abt my bg3 characters
Oxoth
Dragonborn Oathbreaker paladin, durge origin
Personality: Very reckless and stubborn. She's an intimidating presence because she is physically large and there is something intense about her, but she can be rather naive. A few people can really sway her, but they do so easily. She struggles for those people's approval after they earned her trust. She loves power and encourages those close to her to take what they deserve.
"Dark" path (canon): She gets seduced by the power her dad offers, so she turns into a mindflayer and dominates the world.
"Hero" path (non-canon): She leans into her own stubbornness and defies Bhaal, embraces her friends. Becomes a mindflayer anyway to achieve her love's (Lae'zel's) dreams. Lives out her life as Shadowheart's squid sweetheart.
Romance: Lae'zel seduces her very quickly bc shes a dragon. Then she falls for Shadowheart hard (she is her goth princess...) while fooling around with Lae'zel. Karlach gets her heart fixed and she helps her out w her intimacy issues a bit but they remain friends. Lae'zel slowly falls for her but they all decide to keep things as is while they are fighting the brain, and they will decide what to do about the situation later. (Canonically they all become her thralls, non-canonically Lae'zel leaves her bc she becomes a squid).
Her past: She used to be Bhaal's executioner. But she was always full of herself, believing herself to be Bhaal's favorite, so she never truly lost her individuality while in the cult. Gortash appealed to her sense of personal pride to get her on his side. Her relationship with Orin was very bad, because of said pride, and she was always outright dismissive of her and her talents. She got along pretty well with Ketheric tho, not enough for him to give a shit ofc. She treats Sceleritas like a beloved toy.
August
Half-elf (?) Wild Magic Sorcerer, durge origin
Personality: Deeply empathetic and sensitive to other people's pain. Knows something is wrong with him, and believes himself to be truly worthless. He is smart, calculating, and charming. Pays attention to people very closely, so most people like him. Prime example of a charismatic leader, since he is hiding his own pain and low self-esteem behind being overconfident about his magical abilities. Views himself not as a person, but as a tool for other people to use.
"Normal" path (canon): He wins over his own fear and defies Bhaal, tries very very hard to resist as much as he can, but he cant deny to enjoy indulging. He is like a recovering addict in that sense. He urges all his friends to abandon their gods or higher powers they would chain themselves to. Kills the brain!
"Bad" path (non-canon): As time goes on, his fear wins over, and he accepts his father's boon to become the slayer. He urges Gale to turn into a god, so he may save him from the fate that awaits him, and then imprisons himself after destroying the brain, where he slowly loses his mind. His lover becomes the God of Ambition and he becomes a feral thing, entirely consumed by the urge.
Romance: He falls for Gale fast, but takes it as a denial when he tells him to slow down because of his orb. Sleeps around with Astarion, but they agree to become friends when he realizes that this relationship is not something either of them want. He falls in love with Gale. When it becomes clear that he is to blame for everything that happened and Gale gets mad at him he thinks they are going to break up, so he sleeps with the Emperor, then he feels bad about it. Thankfully the Emperor is okay with it and they keep it as a secret. He marries Gale after the game.
His past: He struggled against his urges always, and Bhaal punished him always very heavily. Used to starve and hurt himself so he doesn't hurt and consume others, but eventually he gave in. He had a thing for Gortash because he appreciated his intellect, and he seemed like somebody who could keep himself safe from him. His relationship with Orin is complicated, because he wanted to save her always, but never truly understood her. Ketheric really hated him because he correctly identified him as the most capable of them all and as a threat. Sceleritas is like a mother and father to him, and he finds comfort in his presence, but he hates him for being the overbearing "eye" of his actual father.

Well howdy! I hope you know without you my mind wouldn't be this plagued with visions about the whole Muddler familia and every moomin character in general. Like none of my fixations lasted longer than my moomin one, and you're the one to blame
(and I mean this in the most affectionate way possible, if I have to tell you how inspiring and incredibly talented you are at art and giving me The Thoughts a hundred more times to make this very earth explode, you bet Muddler's ass I will, it's a promise)
My question is: Who is your favorite fictional antagonist of all time and why? Or Who is your favorite moomin OC of all time and why?
First of all: Good. (And thank you)
>:]
Second: Ooooo good questions!
There are ALOT of antagonists over the years, and so many of them fit so many different niches I enjoy that I can't simply pick one. Heck, I'm kinda blanking on a few just trying to come up with an answer. So I'm going to divide them into categories (sorry if most of these are Disney I'm sadly a big Disney fan at heart, I also may be forgetting a few things):
Evil family: Lady Tremaine (Cinderella), Mother Gothel (Tangled)
Both of these are evil non-bio mothers, I know, bug they're so realistically evil in their evil motherliness but in different ways.
Tremaine had a big case of cruel favoritism that upheld her 2 biological daughters over her step-daughter who she turned into their servant. She's a very terrifying and cunning force to be reckoned with and Cinderella 2 and 3 added alot to her character without taking away her fear factor which is difficult to find in other Disney sequels but they really nailed it with her.
Gothel needed a tight grip on her adopted daughter only for her personal gain and did everything in her power to keep it that way. She was such a charismatic character that you could see why Rapunzel saw her as a mother and how well she was able to trap her, not by fenced windows but by making her believe the world is no place for her (it's honestly terrifying to hear real mothers trying to say she really loved Rapunzel and she shouldn't have been villainized and killed but I digress). And Tangled: the Series added another layer of screwed up to her character with giving her Cassandra for a biological daughter and adding even more to how obsessed and self-centered she was.
Antagonist to friend: Teru (Mob Psycho 100), Clarabelle Cow (Mickey, Donald, Goofy and the Three Musketeers), Discord (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic)
Teru really added to the series' theme of Powers Not Making You Special by having Main Character syndrome and then getting sense knocked into him after getting beaten up and seeing the whole world from space. He's a silly guy with a very serious side and I loved watching him throughout.
Clarabelle was uhm. Haha. I liked her alot while watching the movie. The writers adding an antagonistic side to her you don't see elsewhere was such a fun choice and she was a joy to watch. I also was a HUGE Goofy x Clarabelle shipper (don't @ me they are my one Disney OTP) and lemme tell you when that love song came on it became my favorite part of the movie. So glad they ended up together.
My Little Pony had alot of good reformed antagonists throughout the series but I had to pick Discord just because he's the most fun guy out of any of them, his friendship with Fluttershy was so sweet (and I was a very low-key Fluttercord shipper) and so was their friendship arc, but also watching him still be a pain in the rump for the other characters was a treat everytime. Honorable MLP mentions I wanna include are: Sunset Shimmer, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie Lulamoon and Cheese Sandwich (although Cheese is a very minor one).
Friend to antagonist: Cassandra (Tangled: the Series)
Oh the fall she went through was so heartbreaking and her moon powers were so so sick. Her will-they-won't-they friendship with Rapunzel was very captivating and her whole Ball of Issues was great to watch. I rooted for her to come back to the light side so much and gaaahhhhh I loved her.
Flamboyant Villain: Hades (Disney's Hercules), Queen Chrysalis (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic)
Disney has sooooo many great flamboyant villains that are so unapologetically evil but I had to pick Hades because I had a Greek Mythology phase as a kid (despite Disney's Hades being an obvious misrepresentation of the guy) and his interactions with Megara and his henchmen were the most hilarious I've seen. I would also like to honorably mention Jafar and Ursula for this.
Queen Chrysalis was one of my blorbos back in my MLP phase I think, I even made a daughter OC for her and had this whole backstory formed that connected her and Cadence - she was just so fascinating to me and I loved her from start to end. My Day Aria was a banger I had on repeat and her voice effects were cool and her design was awesome and just aaaaaaa everything about her!!!! I don't CARE if you don't think some stuff about her doesn't make sense or was poorly written, she's masterfully written TO ME!!!!
Ok finally, second question:
I think my favorite Moomin OC has to be the Confounder just by virtue of having the most content out of all of mine? I think about Moominpappa's parents ALOT still and plan to make a comic about them in the near(er) future but as of now I have Connie in the top spot for alot of reasons.

The movie is off the walls crazy but you really got to take the whole thing in. It's made really badly but it somehow is made amazingly as well. The film manages to cram in every quotes on quotes Urban stereotype into this film very quickly. However the film isn't 100% sure if it wants to be a soap opera or an action film or something else. The film mainly centers around a character called milk who is a young All-Star gangster leading a gang of thugs but his life turns around when his stepfather gets out of jail and tries to take back the streets in the town. Now I say that's the main character in main story but there are a lot of characters in here which is probably how it sets itself up to be a soap opera. What makes this kind of bad movie interesting is when half your cast can actually act fairly well and the other half can't at all. This makes the interaction with these characters really entertaining for a bad movie Hound like myself. The jumps between the room style over acting to days of our life soap opera acting right back to zero budget non-actors acting is very impressive. This could be because there's maybe just too many damn characters in this film. But it's not just the acting it's also the production. Take the very opening scene where a supposed action scene is happening with milk gang versus an opposing gang we see a very short struggle but done with intense action shots intense music and humorous gun flares added on but all that done in a good looking location and it fools you that as if this was an actual action moment when in reality they were just sort of bumping into each other and falling down. Milking his game come across this issue later on as well when they have to fight cops it's very weird that the cops seem to be in spirit of Halloween cop uniforms while the scene is paste and edited well and has again intense music but this time the camera is moving back a bit and we're just noticing that the cops are just sort of rolling around on the ground with the gang members and nothing's happening. It's the kind of scene in the movie where you imagine if the music wasn't there this would be really sad. But because the film seems to have decent direction at certain points in the film it almost seems like this is a joke. The thing is it might actually be a joke but I can't really tell. There are definitely moments where one or two characters are there for humor purposes including one who shoots a bullet after imagining he could curve the bullet like in The Matrix and then he actually does it. But the character who did it is definitely a silly character. And the person he shoots is wearing an obvious sight gag t-shirt. I really can't do that scene justice in type you really have to see it and when you see it you'll know what I mean. However beside the violent gang storyline my favorite character is milk much older brother who seems to be living a much more upper middle class lifestyle but it is ruining it by his addiction to becoming a gigolo and sort of drug addict. However the older brother is so much charismatic than most of the cast when his life starts to fall apart because of his addictions and man whoring you literally feel like he is the victim here when in fact he is no less evil than any other character in this movie. Maybe that's what this movie is trying to say that there is no good there is no bad in this world it's just the side that you choose and those that betray you should be left in the dust and those who are with you should be treated like kings and be honored all the way throughout their lives. Oh my God what the hell is wrong with me I'm only three films in this pain-athon and I'm already giving a Maverick films production a deep philosophical meaning. Trust me the movie doesn't really have that but it's waving quality from amazing to terrible lets this " trapped in the closet" amped up action soap opera movie play a few games with your head. This review is dedicated to the guys at Perfect Turd Podcast for bringing this film to my attention.

Stay Away From This! 👈(゚ヮ゚👈)
Stay Away From This!: Which series is my least favorite?
So my least favorite series is RID15, without a doubt! As you maybe know I made a anlayse for explain why I didn't appreciate this series : here
But I can still make a summary of my analyse, because it's pretty long, and if you don't want to read it (which I can understand because it's a veryyyy long analyse) I think it's a better way to understand my point of view Xd.
1 - The predictable and "bad" scenario
In RID15, the scenario is predictable, and above all always the same. Here is the list of the typical scenario of RID15 (especially in season 1 and 2):
- The heroes are at the Scrap yard, and often argue over a subject
- They come across a villain (often while going on patrol)
- They attack a first time but fail
- The heroes argue, then reconcile.
- Humans offer to help
- The group moves on to the second attack, and manages to stop the villain
You put this list on any episode of the series, you will see that it works almost every time. Except on season 2.5, but it's the exception (thank you Starscream)
2 - Character development is practically non-existent
Secondly, most characters don't evolve, they keep repeating the same mistakes forever: Bumblebee doesn't improve that much as a leader (except a little in Season 3); Sideswipe and Strongarm never seem to get along, despite spending a lot of time together.
(Except with Drift and Grimlock, but they are the only ones who have a little development)
3 – Optimus is not Optimus
Well, I'll be honest with you, I don't like the RID15 Optimus at all. For me it's not Optimus! Or at least, not the one of TFP, or many continuties (@emperor-kumquat did a great analysis on that: here).
The Optimus we have in this series is a controlling Optimus who does not listen to others. But, what kind of Optimus is that?! Especially since he almost always needs help, which makes him a huge burden for the team.
But it's a fragging Prime!! Respect him a minimum! That's something that really confused me on the show is how useless Optimus is, and how no one respects or fears him!
4 - The bad guys are mostly... lame
Now let's talk about the villains in the series. Honestly, I don't see them at all like a threat, and sometimes even ridiculous. I don't even see them as dangerous individuals, except maybe Steeljaw, and the Stunticons (Motormaster especially).
But otherwise, for me, none of them got the criteria of a good villain (@le-sluagh (thanks for your ask by the way (^3^)) did an excellent analysis of what is a good villain, I give you the link: here).
I'll sum it up, but basically a good villain should: be a threat, preferably charismatic, we understand their purpose, know who they are, and see them plotting.
But, there, in the series, there is none of that… The big bad guys like Megatronus and Cyclonus are swept away so quickly that we don't even have time to see them as threats. We know nothing about them, we at least know what they want, that's already not bad.
Most of the villains on the show are empty, they usually have only one personality trait, but that's all. They always have it, and it's always constant. Normally, the villain and the hero evolve, for good or for bad. They change to become better, or change to become worse. But there… well… nothing…
5 – Informations or characters that appear suddenly
When I say that, I'm actually talking about something that you don't know, and suddenly find out, when no clues were left for you to know anything.
Again, for Megatronus Prime, it was not that bad (I insist on "not that bad"). Because, he appears as a kind of hologram around the middle of season 1, but after that he hardly ever appears again. I don't mind that we don't automatically know who he's it, but I would have preferred more appearances. Kind of scenes where Steeljaw talks to him, so his coming isn't too abrupt.
There was also the other half of the Alchemor, which is only mentioned once in the very first episode of season 1, and which we only see around season 2, that's a long time… and above all, well… if it's never recalled or mentioned, so, we forgot about it!
And, the conspiracy on Cybertron is way too subtle, it's only really halfway through season 3 that you realize there's a plot. Generally, the spectator understands before the hero, or it's true sometimes at the same time as him (but it's more often in films or detective series).
(Even if I really love the idea of the plot, there some goods points of the series, I will not denie that.)
6 - Morality
I find that the moral in the series is not necessarily well conducted, I can see that it's: by joining forces we become stronger, and the power of friendship. Except that, since the heroes don't learn from their mistakes and don't evolve, well, morality goes wrong...
Also, there is this discreet but still present lack of respect, which is never sanctioned. Like when Sideswipe disrespects Optimus, or when Bumblebee belittles Starscream. That's not good morality… You don't disrespect someone and don't depreciate them…! This is not worthy of a hero!
Afterwards, of course, the characters shouldn't be totally Manichaean, but they still need to have these values, it's important. The heroes must give a good example (it's also a mistake that TFP does, especially towards the character of Starscream who is clearly a victim of abuse, but who strangely deserves it. No! No one deserves that!).
A film or a series must present strong and above all fair values. Justice is important, and it's not only a hero fighting a villain that you see while watching a movie, but two opposing values! One upright and just, and the other corrupt and perverted!
And, unfortunately, I haven't seen anything like that in the RID15 series…
7 - Inconsistencies with TFP
In the RID15 series, I noticed that there were inconsistencies with the TFP series. Except, apparently, it's supposed to be a sequel to TFP. And, when you decide on that, you have to be careful that there are no inconsistencies or glaring differences with the other series.
Of course, I'm not talking about the character designs, it's normal that it changes over the series. Especially in the Transformers universe, the designs are always different.
Here, on the other hand, I am talking about things that we have seen or heard about about Transformers Prime, but whose logic RID15 does not follow.
- First point I noticed: How does a robot change color compared to RID15 and TFP? In TFP it's easy, In RID15 it's a Prime thing.
- Second point: Megatronus Prime is the first Decepticon, WTF?! Nope, in TFP it's Megatron.
- Third point: Grimlock is not Grimlock of the aligned novels. Even if he's cute, he's not the Grimlock of TFP.
*
So, I can understand why some people love RID15, because even with all the negatives points I've cited, this series has great potential. However, this potential has unfortunately not been exploited well enough.
Just, understand that's only my point of view, so my unique opinion, there no more value than someone who love RID15 and can without a doubt defend the series ^^. It's just my way to explain why I didn't like it. But, don't hesitate to watch to have your own opinion.

Ok, without any personal spoilers, Ochako and All Might for the character breakdown!
Lmao it turns out I had a lot to say on them so I put it under the cut :) Thank you for the ask!!
How I feel about this character: I love her so much!! I wish I posted more about her, but she has such a special place in my heart. Her very first scene gave me a wonderful first impression because she started out helping Midoriya, but she was still pretty awkward. Give me a character who's incredibly sweet and helpful but not the most charismatic and I'm in lol! Even though I knew they were setting up for love interest-ing, she was always her own person first -- yeah people talk shit about feminine characters needing to be “tough” to make them cool, but even before she showed her kickass side, she was beloved by being the sweet, pink, girly friend. Little by little I’ve seen my high school self in her, and so her moments of strength and optimism always hit a bit different. On a silly note, I'm also sappy that we look similar: I had like 6 family members see the art of her on my phone case and go "aw is that you?"
-All the people I ship romantically with this character: My favorite ship for her is definitely with Iida! It's already clear what good friends they are, they'd make a really sweet pair ;-; They'd compliment each other in many ways, which I'm always a sucker for. I am not immune to the art with her and Asui -- I can see that being such a cute relationship. And I'm honestly not against her ending up with Midoriya (which is likely what will happen lol)! I mean, he definitely has a Lot going on between him and several of the boys asdfgbh but I think the two of them are real good for each other.
-My non-romantic OTP for this character: Todoroki :D I've seen so much content of them as the best of friends and it never fails to hit me right in the heart.
-My unpopular opinion about this character: I'll be honest, I don't know the typical fandom takes on her, so idk where this would fall? I think her parallels with Toga are amazing and I genuinely hope they can be on good terms in the end. The parallel gets a weird vibe because their similarities started with "had a crush on a boy," but I believe they're similar in a lot more ways, and it would be really beautiful to see them connecting and growing because of those...
-One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I haven't seen the really new stuff so maybe they do bring it up, but I always wanted more about her reason for becoming a hero! I think her original reason – making money for her family – was extremely noble, but I wonder if she ever questions it as the situations get more dire (aka, "why am I doing something this dangerous if I'm doing all this for my family? I can't help them if I'm dead...) Or have her motivations changed after being with 1A this long? When exactly did she notice they changed?
---
-How I feel about this character: adfghh I fucking love this dude! I was so suspicious of him season one, but he's such a cool and unique character -- and just a funny guy 😂 He starts off larger than life (both in canon and to the audience) and little by little becomes such a real and normal man who’s trying his best in that world. He’s so aware of this character he’s playing, but not crushed by the burden because he’s the one that did it on purpose (unlike most hero stories where they’re forced into the savior role), and yet he is sorta crushed by it as time goes on! He loves the Symbol and can’t escape but doesn’t want to escape and that’s so cool.
-All the people I ship romantically with this character: I could never get into any of the ships with him, unfortunately. I don't know exactly what it is, but I can never see him dating, much less settling down with the way he is.
-My non-romantic OTP for this character: I really like him and Aizawa! They have a fun contrast of introvert/extrovert, public symbol/hates the spotlight, doing this for years/never taught a class before now – but they have so many similarities that bring them together in the end. They both live such crazy lives, it’s so nice to see them as reliable teacher friends ;-; I don't think you've gotten to it yet, but they have a beautiful moment talking about motivation to live that solidified their relationship for me.
-My unpopular opinion about this character: I don’t see him as Midoriya's dad 😅 I see so many things ranging from making him a dad figure to literally shipping him with Inko to make him part of the family. It's sweet, but I just feel like he fulfills a different relationship/role model to Midoriya than a parent. Midoriya is such a crazy fan, it’d be weird and unhelpful for his all-time inspiration in that way to become a father figure, idk
-One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I just would have liked to see more of young Toshinori, or him with his mentor more. I'm so curious about the quirkless child that thought up the very idea of becoming The Symbol!
#bnha#ochako uraraka#all might#thank you :D these are always so fun#i needed a reason to procrastinate on work today so it was fun to think about these ;-;#thank you @ging-ler for the phone case -- it was a significant amount of people who asked me about it and I got to show it off 😂#ask#rose posts

Bimonthly Media Roundup
- Mario Party (Video Games) - Rented a cabin in Colorado with my friends, and while we of course did some nature seeing we also just chilled at the cabin quite a bit, playing games together. We played both the newest and oldest Mario Party, and man back to back like that the first game was so unforgiving, it's hilarious. If you lost a mini game they would actively take coins from you, the games were not very intuitive (or at least didn't port to the switch right), and the random events were so often completely detrimental to you. Luckily Mari Party has always been a luck based game so in a group setting having awful in game luck is mostly just funny rather than frustrating, a good time to clown on one another.
- The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn't a Guy at All (Manga) - Cute quick read about a girl getting a crush on a cute alt music store clerk before realizing that she's a girl. After the funny setup the manga develops into more of a yuri-centric character drama, which is still nice even if the gender-related humor is mostly gone. The art is very pretty, the alt girl is effortlessly charismatic, and all the references to American music are pretty fun to catch. A good read.
- Pokémon Stadium (Video Games) - More vacation shenanigans, We started by playing all the Pokémon Stadium 2 minigames, in which 3 of the 4 of us were evenly matched and 1 of us did hilariously bad. When we moved on to the first Pokémon Stadium mini games however, said person proceeded to annihilate of all us by a comically large margin. Anyway the games were a fun nostalgia trip, faves would have to be the lickitung game and the counting game.
- Glass Onion (Movie) - Another vacation watch, from what I've seen the general consensus is that the first movie is technically better with a more subtle and well executed message and tighter writing while the 2nd is more fun with a brighter pallet, a campier protagonist, and more oddball memorable suspects. It's been a bit since I've seen the first one but that sounds about right to me.
- Monthly Girls Nozaki-kun (Manga) - Yup.
- Sonic 2 (Movie) - Watched this as an Airplane movie, which I think it functions perfectly fine as. Knuckles was cute, I like the overall look of the characters, humor was adequate, and I liked the good vibes. I wouldn't really recommend it to non Sonic fans, but for what it was it was fun.
- Ace Attorney Spirit of Justice (Video Game) - I really liked this game, with the final case and Dhurke in particular being really great additions. The game had it's issues, with the clown case being pretty unmemorable and Nahyuta being the worst prosecutor in the series, but for the most part this was a really solid entry and possibly one of my favorites. The character design and art direction was great, the forward momentum of the plot and new locations really worked for me, and as a whole I felt the writing was a lot tighter and less mean than a lot of the prior entries. I still have the DLC case and possibly Layton crossover games to complete but otherwise I'm finished with the AA series.
- One Piece (Anime) - My Sister and I got pretty far into East Blue so far, I imagine this will be a show we will be watching for a very long time. The central 5 characters all have a fun dynamic, and the animation isn't bad for the time it came out, but boy do they drag things out with flashbacks and filler, which is really not needed given the sheer amount of material they have to work with here.
- Genshin Impact (Video Game) - Been playing a lot of this, mostly through Liyue by now. I'm having a ton of fun with the story, characters, and non combat side quests, though the wishing and level systems kind of blow with how much unnecessary grinding you have to do. On the bright side I met my girl Yanfei, who's lawsuit quest was one of my faves in the game so far for how unique it was.
Listening To: Make Up Your Mind by Florence + The Machine, Roll With The Punches, When The Tequila Runs Out, A Little Bit of Everything, All Your Favorite Bands, and Most People by Dawes, Kansas City by The New Basement Tapes, Humbug Mountain Song by Fruit Bats, Why Am I Anxious by Tom Cardy, Eat Your Young Cover and Viva La Vida but it's Epic by Reinaeiry, All These Things That I've Done by The Killers, Doin' Time Cover by Lana Del Ray
