The way moominvalley 2019 writters treats sniff is just like a punching back- my poor guy, he was always a bit egoistic but he wasn't like that, episodes like the trial and Mrs fillyjonk last hurra are just, damn, I hope he does get a happy ending

Literally! Not a single Sniff ramble I've made went on without me thinking back to Mrs. Fillyjonk's Last Hurrah, that episode has rewired my entire thought process on him, it was literally the cause of why I made him the main character for the SunDog AU.

He poured his whole heart out to Moomintroll and then Moomintroll just ignored all of that just so the issue with Mrs. Fillyjonk's ownership problems gets resolved.

Like. MT, buddy, hush up about your superficial understanding of Snufkin's wisdom for a sec and think a little about what your youngest friend just said. For even just a moment. Just a smidge. If a toy dog is making Sniff feel more special and wanted than anyone in this entire godforsaken Valley then maybe you should. Think. Reflect on yourself a little bit. Maybe apologize to him for once in your miserable teenage life? He can give the dog away more comfortably if you just tell him that you're sorry he feels that way and you'll do better.

And what do the Moomins do when Sniff has his ensuing meltdown after he listens to Moomintroll by doing the "right thing"? Plug their goddamn ears. Even Moominmamma. THE Moominmamma, the one Sniff would cry to when he felt bad or unsafe in the books and she would try. 2019 Moominmamma doesn't even try. How fucked is that? What kind of writer of a children's show do you have to be to forgo the obvious and actually pretty important lesson about how objects shouldn't have to replace the affection of real people and make Moomintroll the worst friend in the universe!!

If the demographic of this show was any different then yeah, sure, send Sniff down his villain arc because nobody cares about how he feels!! That would be amazingly tragic to watch unfold!!! But this is not that kind of show and good lord if they don't give Sniff his parents I will riot.

Sniff is confirmed to be a tween, he doesn't deserve to be trampled on by a crowd of children twice and then get beaten up by his older teen friend in the same episode! Goddamn!! He hasn't even done anything morally reprehensible at all!!!

2023

It’s me again, it seems that I always comeback to wherre I always feel safe and comfortable. Tumblr.

It’s now 2023 and it’s been what? 3 years since I last posted here, though, I have written stuff on my diary for the past 3 years, not much but I did write some stuff. I started writing again this year cos of my emotional state. not good.

Let me start by telling you what happened in my work so far in my year 2023. January 2023. Work load added, Aside from being a Customer Relations Manager, I was assigned being the Social Media Manager for 12 brands with over 100 products combined. No pay raise, no assistant, no editor. Before I accepted it, I told my manager that Social media is a whole another job and it consist of a team. I asked for a team member in it to help but they never asnwered it. And being that I felt stuck and had no career improvement and advacement from the company for the last 5 years, I accepted it, as a challenge.

So as a Social Media manager, I know I should be doing the content planning, content strategy, content (writing) creation and managing accounts at 3-4 accounts for each of the 12 brands, but aside from that what I didn’t anticipate is that I would be making the graphics, editing photos, making the posts, editing the videos, planning them, posting them, tracking them. I successfully did it for 2 brands with 3 accounts each, and started planning for another 2-3 brands until March of 2023 when we went to bali and the owner let us participate in building the company profile, vision, mission, goals, core focus and core pupose. The experience was nice, it was new, kind of refreshing however, he was following a book for building the company profile and when I asked what he meant by “niche”, he said “hmm, it doesn’t really say here (the book).”

The company set up goals, get to 5k follows by the end of the year for the best brand by April, I needed to have 1k without using ads, just organic, and most of the accounts are not even set up for the brands, I have been asking access to the FB business account so I can set up the pages for the other brands but they aren’t giving me it, on top of that, IG, google, twitter are asking numbers for OTP for securing the accounts. I don’t have them. I asked for a number to use but to no avail, asked for the access but to no avail, informed my manager that one IG handle is not working cos the password is not correct but they still asked me if I changed the password for it... I have never even opened it cos the password isn’t working!

I have been asking support from them for the things I need in order to perform on my task efficiently, on top of that, I still have to manage CS.

I resigned on April 30, 2023. My manager said “I couldn’t believe it. You were here for so long and now you’re resigning.”

I can’t type everything that transpired during my tenure, too long, and I don’t have the energy for it. not anymore.

Just want to share my experience

How Relationship works online??

First, disclaimer muna. I'm not that person na niniwala na makikita ang maayos na relationship online a typical skeptic. Second, I don't find any professional looking individual would try also online dating, Tinder and such. Third, I'm not into sexual relationships din like come on. That is part of it but having partner have so much to offer than that. So ekis sa mga Jeje, mga mukhang social climber at mga gusto lang makipag trip sa buhay or walang magawa sa buhay.

I just tried the new feature of Facebook which is Dating. I met like few people na Trans, OFW na mga bagong uwi, mga bata na nagpapatanda, Matanda na mahilig sa bata, gay and mga Jeje siyempre. Some are maayos kausap sa simula then when you see thier true intentions its time to ghost. I mean Sino ba sila?? Hahaha

Last September 2019, I met someone na feeling ako in dire need of help. Well she do need help at nuong mga panahon na yun. It ended up my FB dating nakaka trauma yun I just fell into a emotional trap na hindi ko naiwasan until ikinasira ko for few months.

Then it was May 2020, my friends dare me to go back in dating since they told me na madaming bored ngayon dahil sa pandemic. Supportive diba so Balik ulit sa pakikipag usap and this time limited na lang kinakausap ko sa mga mukhang maayos kausap. Its late June when someone reply to my messages at mukhang ayos kausap kasi may sense. I tried to ask for her messenger then we had this deep conversation since she is asking like questions with her previous partner. Then I just give my objective asnwer since we have this connection. She ask about my online engagements then I tried to have a webminar to this lady diba sabi ko nga ikinasira ko yung previous experience ko. Ang pinaka naapektuhan is may online business that time. I mean with lack of confidence and lack of motivation. I still give my best shot then still failed to provide the best service. Here's the thing she ignore it and still let me finish my webminar and asked me if I would like to do it again with her. Well Ako na nawalan ng motivation medyo move that time.

Well basahin na lang ninyo previous post ko how it goes.

I'll be focusing on how this relationhip works. or how I plan this relationship work.

What are the challenges meron sa Online relationship?

1. No physical interaction so intimacy is limited with words and expressions. 2. Technology, I mean ang daming distractions online and since were both have our online engagements medyo medyo off na makita mo yung partner mo na kausap mo then ang limit ng turned focus. I can't blame the technology since yun lang available naming medium. 3. We are connected but not socially. Oo na introduce ko na siya to some of my friends and family and vice versa pero iba pa din yung nakikita diba. (Nuong hindi pa alam ng parents ko na I adore someone they keep on telling me na "Dapat malapit na lang para madali mong mapuntahan") 4. Time management siguro dahil were still on our early stage kaya need pa namin mabuo ang routine namin to do our work, self development needs, online engagements and quality time for each other.

Solution ko;

1. I came from a 3 year bachelor life so having no partner is not new to me pero when she came medyo adjust adjust ako buti na lang were both understanding at totally open ang communication channels. Sometimes I honestly feel na kulang talaga since hinahanap mo talaga siya. Buti na lang majority of my time na hindi ko siya kausap busy talaga ako but If may time ako I would spend a whole day talking to her. I guess another early stage relationhip na need kasi were still knowing each other well. 2. Technology, Ito yung medium of our communication so normal na may kung ano anong sari saring mag pop up since online has too many information that will sudden pop up just to distract a person. Ako I tend to put down my phone and talk to her I mean yan din sinasabi ko sa mga kaibigan ko "Minsan na lang tayo magkita kita ng personal puro pa kayo phone so baba ang lahat ng phone". Not sure though if kaya namin ito pero still were working it out since open naman ang communication namin. 3. Soon gagawan namin ito ng paraan. MECQ pa Metro at MGCQ na sa province.  4. Were working on it. We just used all our available time na puwede kaming mag-usap online. Minsan after training, minsan after work, always me driving to work (using hands free device siyempre) at Late nights hanggang early mornings.  5. I have this everyday goal; (1st To court her everyday kahit kami na, 2nd to make her happy, 3rd is to make her feel loved and 4th to make her fall in love with me.  Siguro sa lahat ng nasabi ko yung number 5 ang pinaka mahalaga duon pero yun ang pinaka maigsi. Kasi relationship can mature thru time, maturity, openness and communication, mutual understanding, mutual cooperation, love, care, attention, trust, loyalty and intimacy.

Hi, Aea! :D I hope you're doing well! I'm super excited about The Wolf Who Played because I loved The Wolf Who Lived :D I don't know if you like talking about your writing process but if so, I'd like to ask you what was/is the biggest challenge of writing this series so far (if you don't feel like asnwering this question, just ignore it, no offense taken I promise :D) All my support and entushiasm!

I love talking about my writing process and writing in general, so feel free to ask me stuff anytime! It gives me so much joy to interact with you all on here, truly.

As for what has been the biggest challenge of writing The Wolf Who Lived series, that would probably be where I am currently with The Wolf Who Played. I am trying to incorporate Petyr’s plans to introduce Muggle technology (mainly smartphones and the internet and all it has to offer) to Hogwarts and the wizarding world in general and it’s proving difficult. Partly because there are things I haven’t decided on yet - such as whether they should have their own version of twitter and fb, etc (because otherwise Muggles would see all of their statuses and such). AND I’ve still gotta research how to make fake twitter and fb convos and pages and such for the fic (like I’ve seen people post stuff like that on here, and I doubt they actually use the real twitter or fb for it...). Info on that subject appreciated, btw XD

Not to mention, I’m still really focused on my original work, so it’s tough finding the inspiration and time to write fanfic. BUT I am writing chapter 10 for TWWP right now, so it shouldn’t be too much longer of a wait before I start posting for it :).

Well howdy! I hope you know without you my mind wouldn't be this plagued with visions about the whole Muddler familia and every moomin character in general. Like none of my fixations lasted longer than my moomin one, and you're the one to blame

(and I mean this in the most affectionate way possible, if I have to tell you how inspiring and incredibly talented you are at art and giving me The Thoughts a hundred more times to make this very earth explode, you bet Muddler's ass I will, it's a promise)

My question is: Who is your favorite fictional antagonist of all time and why? Or Who is your favorite moomin OC of all time and why?

Second: Ooooo good questions!

There are ALOT of antagonists over the years, and so many of them fit so many different niches I enjoy that I can't simply pick one. Heck, I'm kinda blanking on a few just trying to come up with an answer. So I'm going to divide them into categories (sorry if most of these are Disney I'm sadly a big Disney fan at heart, I also may be forgetting a few things):

Evil family: Lady Tremaine (Cinderella), Mother Gothel (Tangled)

Both of these are evil non-bio mothers, I know, bug they're so realistically evil in their evil motherliness but in different ways.

Tremaine had a big case of cruel favoritism that upheld her 2 biological daughters over her step-daughter who she turned into their servant. She's a very terrifying and cunning force to be reckoned with and Cinderella 2 and 3 added alot to her character without taking away her fear factor which is difficult to find in other Disney sequels but they really nailed it with her.

Gothel needed a tight grip on her adopted daughter only for her personal gain and did everything in her power to keep it that way. She was such a charismatic character that you could see why Rapunzel saw her as a mother and how well she was able to trap her, not by fenced windows but by making her believe the world is no place for her (it's honestly terrifying to hear real mothers trying to say she really loved Rapunzel and she shouldn't have been villainized and killed but I digress). And Tangled: the Series added another layer of screwed up to her character with giving her Cassandra for a biological daughter and adding even more to how obsessed and self-centered she was.

Antagonist to friend: Teru (Mob Psycho 100), Clarabelle Cow (Mickey, Donald, Goofy and the Three Musketeers), Discord (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic)

Teru really added to the series' theme of Powers Not Making You Special by having Main Character syndrome and then getting sense knocked into him after getting beaten up and seeing the whole world from space. He's a silly guy with a very serious side and I loved watching him throughout.

Clarabelle was uhm. Haha. I liked her alot while watching the movie. The writers adding an antagonistic side to her you don't see elsewhere was such a fun choice and she was a joy to watch. I also was a HUGE Goofy x Clarabelle shipper (don't @ me they are my one Disney OTP) and lemme tell you when that love song came on it became my favorite part of the movie. So glad they ended up together.

My Little Pony had alot of good reformed antagonists throughout the series but I had to pick Discord just because he's the most fun guy out of any of them, his friendship with Fluttershy was so sweet (and I was a very low-key Fluttercord shipper) and so was their friendship arc, but also watching him still be a pain in the rump for the other characters was a treat everytime. Honorable MLP mentions I wanna include are: Sunset Shimmer, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie Lulamoon and Cheese Sandwich (although Cheese is a very minor one).

Friend to antagonist: Cassandra (Tangled: the Series)

Oh the fall she went through was so heartbreaking and her moon powers were so so sick. Her will-they-won't-they friendship with Rapunzel was very captivating and her whole Ball of Issues was great to watch. I rooted for her to come back to the light side so much and gaaahhhhh I loved her.

Flamboyant Villain: Hades (Disney's Hercules), Queen Chrysalis (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic)

Disney has sooooo many great flamboyant villains that are so unapologetically evil but I had to pick Hades because I had a Greek Mythology phase as a kid (despite Disney's Hades being an obvious misrepresentation of the guy) and his interactions with Megara and his henchmen were the most hilarious I've seen. I would also like to honorably mention Jafar and Ursula for this.

Queen Chrysalis was one of my blorbos back in my MLP phase I think, I even made a daughter OC for her and had this whole backstory formed that connected her and Cadence - she was just so fascinating to me and I loved her from start to end. My Day Aria was a banger I had on repeat and her voice effects were cool and her design was awesome and just aaaaaaa everything about her!!!! I don't CARE if you don't think some stuff about her doesn't make sense or was poorly written, she's masterfully written TO ME!!!!

Ok finally, second question:

I think my favorite Moomin OC has to be the Confounder just by virtue of having the most content out of all of mine? I think about Moominpappa's parents ALOT still and plan to make a comic about them in the near(er) future but as of now I have Connie in the top spot for alot of reasons.

I usually hear your Muddler like Moxie from Helluva Boss, maybe with a bit softer voice. Probably because they both love their wifes with all of their hearts and also because i like when he sounds kinda like Sniff but deeper

And Fuzzy is like Jerry from Soul (the one with soft voice). Cause she's small and fuzzy™ and soft and loving little creature and will eat everyone who'll dare to hurt her family

Muddler as Moxxie and Fuzzy as a Jerry from Soul 😭

I do strongly agree on Jerry, the voice is extremely nice and it's calming and now that I'm thinking about it, it might actually be a good voice for Fuzzy (though I imagine she'd sound alot less sagely and with a higher pitch)

Moxxie is quite a voice for Muddler, it would've never crossed my mind that he'd sound like that but I can see it lmao

My vacations going pretty swell! I love not worrying about anything like my grades haha.

What are some places I'd like to visit in the future? Pffffuuhhh..... I have a few select places I wanna go to but it's either types of buildings or just vague ideas. I wanna go to a(n art) museum of any kind, first of all, we had that on the agenda for our school excursion in Austria but didn't get around to it in favor of just "exploring the city square on our terms" which I'm still salty about.

I wanna atleast visit Finland sometime, it seems like a very cool place, specifically the Moomin Park if I ever get the chance and I want to give the Muddler there a sticky note drawing and maybe a button or two so bad.

And I would love to visit so many historical places!! I'm not a history geek perse but I love seeing architecture and reading plaques and learning about places and people so damn much.
