So I saw a headcanon once (I forgot by who sorry) where it said that since the first thing Will did after he graduated was get a dog, it's reasonable to assume that Halt didn't allow him to get pets. I have accepted this as canon. But also, in KoC, it's stated that Halt is "quite fond of dogs", so him not allowing pets because he'd not a dog person doesn't entirely make sense

So, obviously, I came to the conclusion that whenever an animal is the house no work gets done ever. He is too busy washing the dog making those weirdly elaborate meals for the dog exercising the dog trying to train the dog to wake Will up on time because he's tired of having to do it himself etc etc

What is with older folks and not knowing what anxiety is. I tell my manager I'm still nervous with money because I know my mind and he goes "you should just be more confident ^_^" there are goblins in my brain telling me I'm going to be jobless over the smallest thing I am paranoid I am psychotic I'm also incredibly hot confidence isn't a damn issue

I need something to lean against. Preferably a back rest, but I can lean forward in a pinch, as long as I can brace myself against something. If you give me a stool and insist on no elbows on the table, we will have Words.

I want people to understand. Sitting up hurts. Because of my hypermobility, weak core muscles and chronic fatigue, sitting up itself is exhausting and hurts. Do people realize how fucking weird and almost dehumanizing it is to have something as simple as sitting up hurt? Like something that people need and find so easy is utterly exhausting and painful to me. I know a lot of my chronically ill friends go through this. Sitting up just hurts!!

more backstory that i wrote up for patreon heh:

Simon and Tommy had a complicated relationship as brothers.

At a young age, Simon basically wrote himself off as a lost cause, and did the best he could to make sure at least Tommy had a chance to be a functioning human being. After all, Tommy was the gentler brother, the dreamer, the one who looked like their mother (who'd walked out on them years ago to escape their father). But Tommy got bitter, got sick of the one always being protected, being babied. He lost respect for Simon, for the way he wouldn't fight back, and in a twisted way, grew closer to his father as a way to learn how to be powerful, strong. It backfired, and Tommy got wrapped up in some bad business.

Simon's kid brother died while he was deployed. He got the news in the letter, and it broke him in a big way. In the story timeline, it was years and years ago but it still hurts like hell whenever Simon thinks about him.

Simple observation I made from reading these comics. DC, stop making their dad an asshole and make him hug them more.

Also, the hugs in these comics:

Tim's hug is not in Red Robin but it's during the run and when Bruce comes back in time.

Cass' hug is weird because they're suicidal freaks who think fighting is therapy. They fought while being drugged, and blew up a brigde. It makes sense for them only.

Jason's first hug (Outlaws) is after he tries to apologize for his crimes and Bruce refuses to let him to do it, because his boy is innocent for him 🥺 (and then, they fucked it up with Ethiopia because they cannot let them have nice things 🙄). The second one (Red Hood & Arsenal) is started by Jason, who is just very happy to see that Bruce is alive, even if he has lost his memory.
