The Crazy idea is continued....
Ancient Fuelweaver (What if...?)
Previous post :Wilson was the king of his ancient civilization who was reincarnated in another world.
I got a really good question from @octobercrowsblog
Tumblr media
I think that in order to be able to dissect this subject, we have to talk about a lot of things.
How did the Ancient Fuelweaver come about?
Tumblr media
The very first fuel weaver was created by the ancient king by connecting the bones with the fuel itself. He raised this creature from the dead. (Thus, the ancient king himself cannot be the fuel weaver.)
Btw: You get the bones, the heart and the ancient gateway power.
Why get the ancient gateway power?
My view is that to keep them alive they need constant dark shadow magic care. Moon phases are very, very important. In the evening and new moon the shadows become stronger.
I'll talk about the gate some other time. The another post.
What is the role of Ancient fuelweaver?
He is a gatekeeper. Whose very existence is tied to the constant release of energy from the gate. If there is no gate, he does not exist. Therefore, it is possible that the cave and forest versions live only when it is evening.
Tumblr media
Therefore, you can say this sentence. "Lend me your power one last time." Because its existence and its power are due to the gate. What is important to note here is that the gate itself can be a thinking being.
But what else does he say?
As it happens, the survivors here are fighting the creature together.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's a small conversation between the gate and the guard. The Battle Begins. Survivors attack the creature.
Tumblr media
You can say this to the survivors and make a comment about the downfall of your own civilization.
Tumblr media
I think it's a sarcastic comment on the fight.
Tumblr media
It turns out that he quickly lost control of the fight and that the survivors themselves prevailed over him.
Tumblr media
He doesn’t want to believe he’ll be defeated.
Tumblr media
You can probably tell the gate to protect him. But the gate did not protect him from death.
Tumblr media
It is possible that he has accepted his fate here that he will die.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What if the world is in trouble because time itself has been tampered with? That's why the world's fabric is worn out. What if that's why they're trying to catch Wanda? The shadows just want to stop him from traveling through time, because it's not good for this world.
What if wagstaff and wanda caused serious problems by traveling through time? (I will explain this better in another post.)
The other part is Wilson. If the assumption is true that he is the ancient king. He is also responsible for the world being in trouble, because it is not in its place. The shadows were looking for him the real world. -Come back the King.
Tumblr media
Here it is possible to mark the end of his work. The connection with the gate no longer exists. The gate guard was defeated.
My opinion of the creature
The person who valued life the most could live for the shortest time. He was a creature with a task. He performed this task and he is failed. He is a strong man who can defeat anyone. Finally, reality hit he hard. He had a heart full of emotions.
Yes, I know we will raise him. Charlie is glad there are no more guards at the gate. That's why the Shadow Queen is giving us a new power, because we helped him.
This is my crazy idea. What if it true??
Next crazy theory

If my mom sees a significant amount of blood she gets lightheaded, and has fainted on some occasions. Once it happened when we were kids, I wasn't there to witness it but I heard the story from my dad. Basically my brothers, around 7 or 8 at the time, were playing outside while my mom was making their lunch, and she accidentally cut her finger. It wasn't anything serious, but it drew a fair bit of blood and she passed out. My dad saw this and rushed over, but he didn't really know what to do so he just sort of started slapping her to wake her up (not recommended, but he had no idea and panicked)
At that exact moment my brothers both came in from playing, and all they saw was our mom unconscious on the floor and our dad slapping her. So, like, without even saying a word to each other they both just INSTANTLY start whaling on him, like, full blown attack mode to defend our mom. Which obviously didn't help the situation, but she did wake up and everything was fine.
Now our dad says that he's actually really glad they attacked him over what they thought was going on, because it means he raised good boys. And I still think that's true, they're very good boys.

lighthearted.
if this comic resonated with you, please consider donating to this palestinian escape fund (vetted by @/nabulsi and @/el-shab-hussein) as it is less than $7,000 away from it's goal.
i turn 24 today. To celebrate, I made this comic to be a spiritual successor to lead balloon, a comic in which I talked about the darkest period of my life so far.
A lot has changed since my 23rd birthday and this one. My priorities have shifted a lot, in ways that I think are mostly good. But i think the best part about today is that suicide has gone back to being a far away notion. I'm really lucky, and I'm grateful for that.

Awhile ago @ouidamforeman made this post:
Tumblr media
This shot through my brain like a chain of firecrackers, so, without derailing the original post, I have some THOUGHTS to add about why this concept is not only hilarious (because it is), but also...
It. It kind of fucks. Severely.
And in a delightfully Pratchett-y way, I'd dare to suggest.
I'll explain:
As inferred above, both Crowley AND Aziraphale have canonical Biblical counterparts. Not by name, no, but by function.
Crowley, of course, is the serpent of Eden.
(note on the serpent of Eden: In Genesis 3:1-15, at least, the serpent is not identified as anything other than a serpent, albeit one that can talk. Later, it will be variously interpreted as a traitorous agent of Hell, as a demon, as a guise of Satan himself, etc. In Good Omens --as a slinky ginger who walks funny)
Lesser known, at least so far as I can tell, is the flaming sword. It, too, appears in Genesis 3, in the very last line:
"So he drove out the man; and placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life." --Genesis 3:24, KJV
Thanks to translation ambiguity, there is some debate concerning the nature of the flaming sword --is it a divine weapon given unto one of the Cherubim (if so, why only one)? Or is it an independent entity, which takes the form of a sword (as other angelic beings take the form of wheels and such)? For our purposes, I don't think the distinction matters. The guard at the gate of Eden, whether an angel wielding the sword or an angel who IS the sword, is Aziraphale.
(note on the flaming sword: in some traditions --Eastern Orthodox, for example-- it is held that upon Christ's death and resurrection, the flaming sword gave up it's post and vanished from Eden for good. By these sensibilities, the removal of the sword signifies the redemption and salvation of man.
...Put a pin in that. We're coming back to it.)
So, we have our pair. The Serpent and the Sword, introduced at the beginning and the end (ha) of the very same chapter of Genesis.
But here's the important bit, the bit that's not immediately obvious, the bit that nonetheless encapsulates one of the central themes, if not THE central theme, of Good Omens:
The Sword was never intended to guard Eden while Adam and Eve were still in it.
Do you understand?
The Sword's function was never to protect them. It doesn't even appear until after they've already fallen. No... it was to usher Adam and Eve from the garden, and then keep them out. It was a threat. It was a punishment.
The flaming sword was given to be used against them.
So. Again. We have our pair. The Serpent and the Sword: the inception and the consequence of original sin, personified. They are the one-two punch that launches mankind from paradise, after Hell lures it to destruction and Heaven condemns it for being destroyed. Which is to say that despite being, supposedly, hereditary enemies on two different sides of a celestial cold war, they are actually unified by one purpose, one pivotal role to play in the Divine Plan: completely fucking humanity over.
That's how it's supposed to go. It is written.
...But, in Good Omens, they're not just the Serpent and the Sword.
They're Crowley and Aziraphale.
(author begins to go insane from emotion under the cut)
In Good Omens, humanity is handed it's salvation (pin!) scarcely half an hour after losing it. Instead of looming over God's empty garden, the sword protects a very sad, very scared and very pregnant girl. And no, not because a blameless martyr suffered and died for the privilege, either.
It was just that she'd had such a bad day. And there were vicious animals out there. And Aziraphale worried she would be cold.
...I need to impress upon you how much this is NOT just a matter of being careless with company property. With this one act of kindness, Aziraphale is undermining the whole entire POINT of the expulsion from Eden. God Herself confronts him about it, and he lies. To God.
And the Serpent--
(Crowley, that is, who wonders what's so bad about knowing the difference between good and evil anyway; who thinks that maybe he did a GOOD thing when he tempted Eve with the apple; who objects that God is over-reacting to a first offense; who knows what it is to fall but not what it is to be comforted after the fact...)
--just goes ahead and falls in love with him about it.
As for Crowley --I barely need to explain him, right? People have been making the 'didn't the serpent actually do us a solid?' argument for centuries. But if I'm going to quote one of them, it may as well be the one Neil Gaiman wrote ficlet about:
"If the account given in Genesis is really true, ought we not, after all, to thank this serpent? He was the first schoolmaster, the first advocate of learning, the first enemy of ignorance, the first to whisper in human ears the sacred word liberty, the creator of ambition, the author of modesty, of inquiry, of doubt, of investigation, of progress and of civilization." --Robert G. Ingersoll
The first to ask questions.
Even beyond flattering literary interpretation, we know that Crowley is, so often, discreetly running damage control on the machinations of Heaven and Hell. When he can get away with it. Occasionally, when he can't (1827).
And Aziraphale loves him for it, too. Loves him back.
And so this romance plays out over millennia, where they fall in love with each other but also the world, because of each other and because of the world. But it begins in Eden. Where, instead of acting as the first Earthly example of Divine/Diabolical collusion and callousness--
(other examples --the flood; the bet with Satan; the back channels; the exchange of Holy Water and Hellfire; and on and on...)
--they refuse. Without even necessarily knowing they're doing it, they just refuse. Refuse to trivialize human life, and refuse to hate each other.
To write a story about the Serpent and the Sword falling in love is to write a story about transgression.
Not just in the sense that they are a demon and an angel, and it's ~forbidden. That's part of it, yeah, but the greater part of it is that they are THIS demon and angel, in particular. From The Real Bible's Book of Genesis, in the chapter where man falls.
It's the sort of thing you write and laugh. And then you look at it. And you think. And then you frown, and you sit up a little straighter. And you think.
And then you keep writing.
And what emerges hits you like a goddamn truck.
(...A lot of Pratchett reads that way. I believe Gaiman when he says Pratchett would have been happy with the romance, by the way. I really really do).
It's a story about transgression, about love as transgression. They break the rules by loving each other, by loving creation, and by rejecting the hatred and hypocrisy that would have triangulated them as a unified blow against humanity, before humanity had even really got started. And yeah, hell, it's a queer romance too, just to really drive the point home (oh, that!!! THAT!!!)
...I could spend a long time wildly gesturing at this and never be satisfied. Instead of watching me do that (I'll spare you), please look at this gif:
Tumblr media
I love this shot so much.
Look at Eve and Crowley moving, at the same time in the same direction, towards their respective wielders of the flaming sword. Adam reaches out and takes her hand; Aziraphale reaches out and covers him with a wing.
You know what a shot like that establishes? Likeness. Commonality. Kinship.
"Our side" was never just Crowley and Aziraphale. Crowley says as much at the end of season 1 ("--all of us against all of them."). From the beginning, "our side" was Crowley, Aziraphale, and every single human being. Lately that's around 8 billion, but once upon a time it was just two other people. Another couple. The primeval mother and father.
But Adam and Eve die, eventually. Humanity grows without them. It's Crowley and Aziraphale who remain, and who protect it. Who...oversee it's upbringing.
Godfathers. Sort of.

The crazy idea is continued....
Ancient Gateway and the shadow trone (What if...?)
Previous Post: I told you my theory about fuel weaving. That he could really be the gatekeeper.
Originally, this post was supposed to be about the gate, but I thought it was important to talk about the throne itself.
Ancient gateway and Charlie
It will be the ancient gateway itself. It is possible that one person. I mean, he's conscious and he's awfully strong.
The gate is like the moon. The moon is also a separate person from another entity. The moon is connected to certain things.
The biggest evidence of this is the animated video when charlie fixes the gate, but it looks at the queen and closes back.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then the holes in the cave system got bigger and there were vortexes. And from these holes appear much stronger shadows, which are probably evoked by the gate itself. Since each of these holes can be connected to the gate itself.
Charlie, at this point, must have been very, very angry that the gate was closed. In this way, they cannot use their power. You can't fix the mirror.
What if there's only one way to use the power of the gate?
Tumblr media
Cyclum's cane may be the only way to use the gate's power. Since charlie went to the gate without the cane. So she probably doesn't have. What if the cane cyclum only knows where it is. But if we start from the theory that wilson is the ancient king, then that knowledge has long been lost.
But if we assume that the king went to another world and reincarnated. Then it is possible that the cane itself is hidden in the real world.
The past?
Tumblr media
In the past, we have seen that the king overused the power of the gate, and the gate turned against them. When everyone became shadowy creatures. Not only ancient civilizations were transformed into shadows, but also minerals and food. That is, everything connected with the power of the gate, since the food, the minerals, the tools were created using the power of the gate. Because of this connection, the gate could influence these beings.
The torch has the power of the moon while the cane has the power of the shadows. Metheus then, for some reason, got into a mirror and the broken. In my mind, the end of the history of ancient civilization has raised many questions. I couldn’t find answers to these questions.
Questions:
If Metheus fought against the darkness that the king unleashed on the people, what made him evil now? - Okay, maybe I just know the answer. - It was the power of darkness itself that changed his mind and probably made her evil.
If she possessed the power of light in the torch, she could have avoided being corrupted by darkness. Only if she used the power of the torch to protect the king from total darkness. On the previous page we saw that Cyclon's eyes became dark, which may mean that he received shadow power, but because of the power of the torch, the transformation process did not go through. We know that the Metheus has turned into a shadow, which proves that the torch could actually only have saved one person. Metheus sacrificed himself and became evil. What if she fought with Cyclon? And then, as a result of the fight, he broke the gate? And you couldn't beat metheus in any other way just by locking him in a mirror? Then the sad king sits on his throne.
The throne in the picture may be proof that he has shadow power and is able to use it. Why?
For he who has no power of shadow shall be held captive. It is worth going through the examples of those who sat on the throne.
Maxwell
Maxwell is a man with no shadow power. He's a wizard who uses the book. In this universe, wizards can be divided into two groups. Object users and those who do not use objects. (For those who do not use objects, they already have some magical power.)
Tumblr media
Then, my theory is that since maxwell doesn't have shadow power in the first place. For this reason, the throne chained him to himself. You can use the power of the throne. And this proves that Maxwell does not rule over the throne, but the throne rules over it. It also means that he was only slightly changed by the throne, but what the shadows wanted from him probably fulfilled. Especially since wilson was the last one he kidnapped to the permanent. Since the shadows probably want Wilson.
Charlie
Charlie is different. Because a person who has received shadow power from Metheus. Which also means she's changed his personality . Because of the power she received and could use it. She was able to control the throne. She also changed the appearance of the throne.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Why is this important to the ancient king?
Because if the ancient king did not have shadow power and could not use it. Then the throne would have chained him to himself like Maxwelt. The ancient king have shadow power. That's why the throne looks a little different. The king changed his appearance.
and since the throne did not bind the king he was able to go to another world. What if, in the real world, the king made friends with people?
The king may have told people about his own world. There may be people who are aware of the constant.
Eg: Wickedbotton, Wanda
Tumblr media
Is it possible that the cane is being taken care of by someone so initiated?
We have already seen in one of the animated videos that you can travel with a broken ancient gate. When the survivors traveled to the world of forge. The power of the gate was uncontrollable. Because only the cane can control its power.
What if the last time the king used the broken gate was to travel to another world?
What if the shadows were chasing the king? And then the shadows that chased him locked him in a book? Is that how the codex umbra came about? That would explain what a book like this is doing in the real world. Full of knowledge that comes from the constant. Persecution may even explain why the king had to reincarnate. He may have been reincarnated because he didn’t want to die.
I also found sentences that could prove that the ancient king actually wilson.
Tumblr media
You see this well for the first time, but you already know how it works.
Workin again.... - The end of the sentence strongly suggests that in the past this tool worked very well. It would be good if it worked again. But the character himself doesn't really know why he's saying that, so he stops saying the sentence and just stops.
Strongest urge - This sentence basically tells you how the machine itself works. Do you have a strong urge to do this because you’ve done it a lot in the past? And then that feeling just stayed in your subconscious?
Tumblr media
This is a very good way to show how confused Wilson is. Very happy at the beginning of the sentence. Finally, we have the knowledge to build this structure. But then he follows a phrase that somehow makes me very, very familiar. Why would he be familiar with a ancient old machine? Did you put that together before?
Tumblr media
and finally the gardener's hat. At first glance there is nothing special about it. Everyone is fooling with him. But the garden hat was originally invented by Wilson. Then, if Wilson invented this device, why is it possible to create one at the ruins? (I know from a playful point of view it's just an unnecessary update. But if you look at the story itself, you can back up something very important.)
Tumblr media
And I think Wendy’s point is that there’s something wrong. Because the ancient gardeneer's hat is familiar to him for some reason. Can be a child character and what she says is not 100% sure.
But we know who invented the gardeneer hat. Wilson built this before they went down to the ruins.
And these sentences only support my theory that Wilson is the ancient king.
This is my crazy idea. What if...?
