I would like the record to stand that I don’t think the waynes think Danny is some sort of hot twink guy. Just the cutiest lil dude ever.

I want them to see his hero persona (give that boy a mask) and fantasise over how cute or hot they think he will be.

They hear his voice. They see his actions. His strength. And assume hes gonna be babe material.

Later it happens. The reveal. And hes just some guy. Just a dude. I mean it’s gonna be shellshock for them. No one but Damian is shocked cause they all assumed his looks would be face and upper body model levels. Bruce probably was thinking the poor lil guy was covered in bruises and injuries but didn’t know about our kids healing factor.

I stan pristine danny who only gets scars from ghost hunting equipment. And that dissection.

Let them over look Fenton cause hes too normal. Let them not even consider him cause hes so scrawny. Too much like a human child.

I like to imagine that when Boothill is alone with Dan Heng, he feels safe enough that he just kind of lets his body relax a bit, and quits trying to keep such a close eye on his internal workings or run shit as optimally as possible. So he lets his cooling fans kick on and whir a bit without worry.

Dan Heng: What is that sound.

Boothill: Coolin' fans. It botherin' ya?

#ask #I am so glad that I give off the vibes of someone who likes Dungeon Meshi. The brain rot is nearly a decade old!#I do recommend looking through the link on 'Dungeon Meshi' - that's the whole chronological tag of the art I've done so far.#Ryoko Kui is a huge art inspiration and I honestly feel like I got a *lot* better after drawing her characters.#Probably because I was looking at more references than I normally do but hey! Progress is progress!#Dungeon Meshi updates kept my deeply depressed ass alive in the darkest moments.#Now it's responsible for being something that got me noticed by the person who made Nico the catboy.#I think I might actually be a bit more known *for* the Dungeon Meshi art than the MDZS content at this point.#When season two comes out I *will* be back for Thistle Thursdays.

Haha, it's so funny how I am so indecisive that I go "I wanna draw my son" and then have too many ideas as to how. So here!

Take Ferdinands (and a Felix, I suppose, bc they are boyfrinds in my heart and soul).

#ferdinand von aegir #fe three houses #felix hugo fraldarius #and for those of you who might not know it i did have an au where ferdinand was a vampire #hence the fangs and wings teehee #but i also have an au where ferdinand is a fallen angel which isnt like he did anything bad #he simply gave up his angel life to be a mortal and devote the mortal life to very human felix #and it was actually a huge mess of a plot bc felix died in that plot and was brought back as if nothing ever happened #and ferdinand didnt actually know this happened so hes just super happy still bc he still thinks everything is good #and felix is stuck with a grim reaper and a soul dealer watching him and talking to him and no one else can see them #anyway ferdinand as always in that plot is a pure delight and felix has no idea he was an angel at some point #and in the vampaegir au hes a half vampire bc mom was human and dad was a vampire #so he kinda lost the SEVERE WEAKNESSES therefore is fine in the sun and yeah... still needs blood but not as often #also how dare i only draw a puppynand and not a ferdinyand i shoulda squozen a catboy in there #rip and also how dare i not draw my beloved dancernand #anyway thats the tags c ya

do you think they noticed a change, the first few loops. i think they did. because how could they not, cheng xiaoshi and qiao ling, the two closest friends lu guang has, seeing him walk out of the room through a camera shutter and re-enter changed. diminished, faded, sad, the worn and cracking face of an old photograph. more and more tired each time he dives, further and further back with each attempt. every time a failure. and even as he lets the tides of time weather him more - render him a ghost, it feels like sometimes - even as lu guang changes more and more from the person he used to be, so too does that moment of disconnect in his friends’ eyes shorten and fade. because they don’t know him anymore. the golden stretch of time he spends by their sides before it all goes wrong is sliced thinner and thinner with every photo he uses, his touch blurring the memory with blood. each time he fails they know him less - the first him, the one unburdened by the terrible knowledge he now holds and the weight of too many failures.

soon they will never have known him at all.

Because you would notice if your best friend time travelled from a horrible future, but not if he travelled back so far he erased the person he once was (the person you knew) (the person you loved, first. before you loved this newer-older transparent version, never knowing a difference.)

(and this too is a loss to be grieved, he thinks sometimes in the dead of night to the sound of soft breathing in the bunk below, selfishly. but it is worth it if cheng xiaoshi lives.)

(the death of everything lu guang ever was is worth it if it means cheng xiaoshi lives.)
