Ranking How Well I Could Clean My F/Os' Ears

Exactly what it says up there, I got a new earpick so I'm thinking about cleaning their ears.

Everyone knows the appeal of getting your ears cleaned by someone else is the lap pillow, and Noct takes full advantage of it. He's not even shy about it, he's taking a comfy nap on my lap. I'd deduct points for if he falls asleep before I can have him turn so I can clean the other side, but getting to run my fingers through his hair is nice plus he's the husband so he gets a full score.

Not only is she fine with staying still, I think Luna would be reasonably interested in the process. Westerners tend to have more liquid earwax which is why they don't practice ear cleaning as much, and Tenebrae's a western nation so I don't think she's experienced one before. After it's over she'd want to give it a try too -- Being a healer, she'd be gentle and learn pretty quickly.

Did you know people clean cat ears? I've never done it before, but it seems similar enough especially since G'raha's capable of not making sudden movements as opposed to an actual cat. It would take some getting used to, but I could probably clean them well enough. ARR G'raha wouldn't let me, but I think I could convince ShB/EW Raha to let me pamper him a little.

Elezen ears jut out directly to the side, so doing a lap-pillow ear cleaning would be difficult, plus you'd have to enter at a kind of weird angle that would obstruct being able to look properly.

In my heartcanon though, Elezen practice cleaning each others' ears so maybe he'd let me in on those Top Secret Elezen Ear Cleaning Techniques. Also per the usual elf ear sensitivity headcanons I think he'd like the bonten/feather part of the earpick. He won't admit it though.

Grimnir's super excited to experience the mortal custom of ear cleaning! Alas, he is Grimnir. He'll giggle about it being ticklish, squirm, and then cry when his sudden movements make the earpick hit his eardrum. His ears will be clean eventually (he's being brave about it) but it's a huge hassle considering his nature.

*Grimnir has pointy ears as well, but they seem to tilt backwards enough to be able to comfortably view and access the ear canal

The situation's just super awkward for him. Eric's super touch-starved (I don't imagine ancients do that much physical intimacy, much less ear cleaning), so laying on someone's lap? Having them scratch around inside his ear? We may be friends but it's too much. He gets up and apologizes. Sorry Eric for being a weirdo who likes to clean ears.
