Mansk(recom) Characterisation

I have Mansk brainrot <3 here's my interpretation of him and some random things I want to point out. Some of it is canon :)

I will totally be adding more things to this as time goes by.

She's wet from the ocean and his hands must have gotten wet and he's all grossed out from the 'fish-lipped alien' and has to touch it.

Deffo thoroughly wanted to wash and disinfect his hands after.

The man HATES nature. I mean he despises it, on Earth too (whatever was left of it). That's why he is wearing the opposite of Walker's outfits. He's covered, head to toe. Expect for, well head. But everything else can't come in direct contact with nature on Pandora because to him it's scary and gross.

He hates native Na'vi too but once he becomes a recom, it dies down a little. Now, his hate for them is divided between blue forest Na'vi and the water Na'vi.

He still thinks of himself as human rather than Na'vi. I'm saying, when the man woke up from recom, he needed to be alone for the rest of the day while the others were discussing the mission. He just left the room and locked himself in his room, sitting in silence. He didn't want to look at himself in the mirror because it was too much. He just died and now he was back in the form of his enemy. The enemy terrified him because that's how he died in the first place.

While Lyle's first thought would be to pull down his pants and check out (yk) , Mansk would refuse to remove his clothes because he was worried he would lose it if he genuinely saw himself properly for the first time. I'm saying if the man saw all of himself in the first few days he would be so lost in himself and overwhelmed he would break down and cry. He seems like this intimidating tall man who has it all figured out but I'm telling you HE IS A SENSITIVE SOFTIE AND TAKES EVERYTHING TO HEART. He would avoid reflections, keep his head down and prefer not to directly look at his teammates because they were blue too. (Blue Na'vi racist kinda, but with PTSD)

He is quiet. Not shy quiet, just observing quiet. When he does speak he uses the least amount of words to express himself. Mansk is clever and when he says things they have been thought through by him. He never speaks before thinking. He's confident but doesn't express it. Basically the opposite of Lyle.

He likes wearing his shades because 1. they look dope 2. he isn't happy about being in a Na'vi body so he wants to seem as human as possible. Adding to that, his tail freaks him out. He wishes it weren't there. Sometimes he forgets it's a part of him now and it scares the shit out of him. His new body has him feeling really down because he knows that he can never return to Earth like this.

Grillmaster 100% without a doubt. I love that this fandom just decided that. It fits so well. Can't cook things like pasta or make soup. He can grill and fry shit. That's his thing. For properly baking something he will need luck on his side but it might work.

Another random thing. This man NEVER gets sick. I'm saying he's immune to it all. You're sick? Have the flu? Covid? It never gets him. He's safe with the immune system of a god.

He gets a sore jaw from constantly biting down and clenching it due to stress (just like me fr fr)

Adding to that, he almost always looks like he is in deep thought. He looks almost scary because he seems so intimidating. It's rare when he smiles.

He is the type of person that lays in bed for hours before falling asleep. Maybe because of some fucked up shit he has seen that stays in his head. He also refused to sleep on his back in his new body because of his tail and braid.

If there would be a skiing holiday, THIS MAN SNOWBOARDS. Quaritch would be the dad with skis and a large backpack.

He is super precious and soft. Will never want any of his teammate to know but if he finds someone he likes, he will be silently obsessed. Not in a creepy way, but he can't stop thinking about them. He doesn't fall for people easily but when he does HE FALLS HARD.

Mansk is self conscious so if he likes someone he will never act on it and never tell anyone. At night when he is alone, he would be going over all the reasons of why it wouldn't work out and why his crush doesn't like him or can't like him.

All he wants is to be cuddled, taken care of and kissed to sleep. Honestly, that's it. He wants to give everything he can to the person he cares about but will need constant reminders that they actually like him back and that he isn't just imagining it. If the person is gone for a few days, his bad thoughts will return and when they come back he will be distant and ask things like 'Sorry, I'm bothering you aren't I? You probably have lots to do.'

TO WHICH YOU HAVE TO TACKLE HIM INTO BED, WRAP HIM IN A BLANKET LIKE A BURRITO AND CUDDLE AND KISS HIM ISTG HE NEEDS LOVE BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN DEPRIVED OF IT HIS ENTIRE LIFE.

Leading to his fam, he joined the military because his dad did and so did his grandpa etc. It's a bloodline thing and because of that, he's never been loved properly and always treated as a soldier in making. He needs to be drowned in love.

SUPER NERVOUS around his crush. Sweating palms, stuttering, all that shit. He's down bad.

Disclaimer: I am not a medical professional, take everything I say with a grain of salt. All I did was do some research and paid attention in science class when they were talking about homeostasis. Also, this is a long post, brainrot kicked in and I decided to just keep talking about this.

It is about to be midnight where I live and I need this brainrot question answered PRONTO!!! (I answered it myself because I got more curious the further down the rabbit hole I went)

So- what are the logistics of being a vampire??? Like- in general.

Everyone keeps saying that "vampires are cold" but that would imply that vampires stop pumping blood after turning. This wouldn't be the case since in the redactedverse there are instances (*cough cough* Adam) of vampires draining other vampires.

Unless Adam bit into every artery in his maker and sucked it dry, I doubt Adam would have a chance of draining someone with no blood flow. I would like to point out that vampires go for the main arteries (neck, wrist, etc.) to have the blood come to them so they can feed easily.

I searched it up and this is what I found:

"Because a vampire's body essentially "dies", it no longer conducts heat the way a normal human body does."

Basically, after turning vampires go from warm-blooded to cold-blooded. Though, the way they worded it had me wondering, "How do humans conduct heat?" So I searched it up.

Now, I'm really confused. Vampires don't usually eat, and I'm not sure inactive organs are going to emit heat. (as you can tell I really want there to be a chance at a warm vampire)

More research- this time I'm looking at the redacted wiki fandom, to refresh myself on the effects of turning on the person's core. I can't trust too much cause the Wiki fandom is a lil messy but I should've known that if a person's powers are muted, the core is also muted-

So it's not the core, and it's not the bloodstream that warms them up. The only thing that would warm them up is feeding. And there's the real question- how specifically do vampires feed? Do they bite in and swallow the blood to digest it from there? Or do their fangs suck it up and bring it directly to their bloodstream somehow?

The first way would be very inefficient and take longer for them to fully feel the effects of being full. As well as the fact that the nutrient, oxygen, and water in the blood needed for them to survive would already be digested enough to flow to other parts of the body. As a result, vampires would most likely drain their "victims" before they realize they are full. They also would most likely need hella lot more blood than is portrayed in redacted to survive.

The second option is a little more intuitive. It would be a lot quicker, and at the rate that the body pumps blood around (one blood cell can travel the entire body in a minute), the needed nutrient would get to the body in time for the vampire to feel full. Though, I'm not sure the blood would stay warm for that long. Depends on how much the vampire takes. It also poses the question "Do vampires make their own blood?" I'd think so because they heal quickly but at the same time I don't because they fuckin drink the stuff. Another question would be how they get the blood from the fangs to the bloodstream, but they also grew fangs so technically anatomy changing around isn't out of the question.

This has already taken two hours of my life we're not even going to talk about how much blood is actually needed to satiate a vampire's hunger for a day- let alone a few days to a week.

So, looking at this scientifically, yes, vampires can be warm, and not just after feeding. They can also be warm digesting human foods even though they don't get anything out of it. As long as something passes through the digestive tract I think that's enough to get the chemical reactions or whatever going. Would a wine glass of blood be enough to keep a vampire full? no, but it's a nice thought.

Obviously, this is all fantasy, do whatever you want, I just like thinking about the logistics of things, and the fact that I live with a nurse (my mom) doesn't help lol

I'm really interested to hear about your episode 11/12 CRK rewrite, do you mind explaining the plot? If it's too long to explain or smth, can you at least give some basic plot points/major changes?

[pls rb] It's a bit messy tbh since i never got into the nitty-gritty of the exact play by play events, but i had a lot of thoughts on how i would like to have restructured it / rewritten certain parts. its always bugged me how tonally distant the hb kingdom is from,,,, everything else in the main storyline, especially compared to pv and cacao's plotlines. one of the key things is that i took the mention pitaya burned down the kingdom at one point WAY more seriously than the plot does - as well as them 'taking over' the kingdom. i should note that they aren't nessacarily malicious, moreso trying to bait hollyberry out of hiding to fight them and going about it in the worst way possible. The timeline of cr is so messy and conflicting [esp now with the implication roguefort was very young when their family died in the ob christmas event and they died in my fanon BECAUSE of the pitaya attack but i had other stuff before that that said it was only like 6-7 years ago but. AUGH. WHATEVER]. TLDR the hollyberry kingdom has rebuilt but they're still kinda a mess and slowly losing faith in the royal family and turning to the great houses - leading to a setup similar to the princess contest [i think the 'princess contest' is stupid as hell, like, especially when princess herself shows up for it but it 'must go on'].

TO SUMMARIZE SOME THINGS. For my fanon in general i've kicked gingerbrave and co out of the main plotline - nothing against them, but persoanlly them being shoved into every plotline makes their narratives suffer drastically [at least in my fanon] . i've weighed the thought of either rasp or princess being the main protagonist but like . princess probably makes more sense im just HEAVILY biased towards rasp. Background stuff thats important to the characters -rasp has been staying in the cookie kingdom for a while and becoming dissalussioned with her house and hollyberry kingdom as she spends time away from the suffocating enviorment and begins falling in love with parfait - but cant commit because she can't be in love with a commoner under her house's watch. puts off going home until a carriage shows up asking her to come back to the kigndom for the contest. Is not havign a good time and only gets more and more upset as the plot goes on - batflower [oc of mine] was a heiress, but lost her manor in the pitaya attack. she's a power-obsessed asshole who does Not value people unless they contribute to her amusement or game. Is a literal fucking serial killer! - uhhhh i wanted to do more with tiger lily but the brainrot was never there. i think it would be sillly if part of the reason she went missing was related to hollyberry's dissapearance - i also kicked out the cookies of darkness not because they're irrelevant or completely gone i just liked using batflower and pitaya as the villians wayy more. they might be around but probably serving a more minor role - like how affogato is the main antagonist in chp 13/14 but theyre still around OKAY SO. It runs mostly the same but the one to poison their drinks is - suprise suprise - batflower ! nyx holds a lot of envy towards the remaining heiresses [especially rasp who is trying to walk away from the privlidge she'd been given that batflower so desprately wants back] and she spikes the heiresses' drinks with something similar as to what wizard/strawberry get in the original. And raspberry's already having her emotions run high and is pretty pissy and her and princess do Not Get Along so they start fighting before dueling [11-27 boss fight] - though it gets interupted by batflower showing herself, unfurling her wings and mocking them for falling right into her play. Yadda yadda drama stuff yadda yadda rasp falling even deeper into her want to leave her role because she sees the reflection of what it can do to people in batflower but also. THE GIRLS ARE FIGHTING [batflower replaces the 11-30 boss - it fits nyx well since its in a garden and nyx has plant magic it uses to make its poisons]. Once batflower is beat she retreats. Probably shows up later at minimum as an observer but i havent figured that out. Rest proceeds mostly as normal, with hollyberry showing up having realized how badly she failed her kingdom and what pitaya has done to it as 'ruler', and promptly beats their ass into next week and probably makes them do community service /LH. i wanted to do more to hb's characer arc and i DID mostly but im trying not to get too deep into the psychology of the events [as i often tend to do] and just tell it as it is. i think it would be cute if wildberry was with her [since she took him in while she was in hiding] and when its revealed shes the queen he gets promoted to her personal bodyguard. just thought that though idk a lot of this is loose Rasp at this point is done, goes home, gets in a fight with mousse and leaves the kingdom for good - though that probably wouldnt be featured in the plot. what WOULD be featured is a tiger lily reuinion with her family - i havent thought abt it much but it annoys me to NO FUCKING END that she is completely written off despite being LITERALLY *the missing princess*. And they do nothing with her besides jungleberry offhandedly remarking "oh that might be her,,," like GIRL YOURE NOT GONNA ?? INVESTIGATE ??? i think thats it . i might be forgetting something but whatever.

Mumza is the Goddess of Death AU

I’ve seen Kristin as the goddess of death in Dream SMP a few times, and this is my take on it. Not 100% sure who came up with the original, but if you know tell me!

Would like to clarify that this is about Dream SMP, and this has nothing to do with them in real life. I just wanted to incorporate Mumza.

So, Tommy’s dead. Dream killed him. This is how I cope.

Anyways, Kristin is Wilbur, Tommy, and Techno’s biological mother, as well as Phil’s wife. Yes, this means that the three of them are demigods. This manifests in the three of them in different ways but isn’t that isn’t the main focus of this so I won’t get into it.

So you know how it’s canon that Phil has lived for centuries? It’s ‘cause his wife is the goddess of death and she doesn’t want him to die of old age (unless he specifically asks to let him die so they can be together in the afterlife). Everyone is still on the three lives system though, she can’t influence that. Phil only has one life because he lost the other two when he was younger. She can only prevent him from dying of old age and sickness, if someone killed Phil, she would have to take him to the afterlife. Those are the rules.

That’s why both Wilbur and Tommy died. She can’t intervene when something other than natural causes kills them. She can’t revive them either, not without someone actively trying to bring them back to life with the correct materials.

You see, you only need a few things in order to bring someone back to life (so long as Kristin allows them back. if you have everything and do it all correctly, she can still keep them in the afterlife if she sees fit). You need a totem of undying, the correct instructions (Schlatt’s book), and a sacrifice. A life for a life. Someone currently living, regardless of how many lives they have, needs to sacrifice a life in order to bring someone back.

Phil doesn’t know these things. He’s never asked, never thought to ask, and Kristin hasn’t told him because she knows he will give up his last life to bring Wilbur back, and she can’t let that happen.

So when they tried to bring back Wilbur, it failed because they had no clue what they were doing. Wilbur and Kristin and Schlatt were kinda just watching, and Schlatt possessed Ghostbur for shits and giggles. It did make the goddess of death herself laugh, even if her son was insisting that it wasn’t funny and “MUMDAMMIT SCHLATT GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY BODY” which only made the situation funnier for all three of them.

Anyways, onto the plot.

Tommy’s fucking dead, hanging out in the afterlife with Kristin and Wilbur and Schlatt and he’s healing from the trauma of his death and everything that happened before it (exile, being trapped in the prison with dream, watching wilbur die, doomsday, etc.).

Anyways, Dream makes a deal with Sam and Tubbo. He’ll bring Tommy back in exchange for his freedom, and he needs a totem and someone to give up a life to do it.

At first Tubbo tries to be the sacrifice, but Sam refuses, saying that what happened to Tommy was his fault, and that the least he could do was give up one of his lives to bring him back. Plus, Sam has lives to spare. Tubbo doesn’t. Tommy would never forgive Tubbo for sacrificing himself to bring him back.

Anyway, so they reluctantly agree to the deal, bringing the totem (acquired from Technoblade via a hefty price, because they haven’t told anyone else the plan) to Dream in his prison cell so they can do the resurrection there. Originally, that was the last place that they wanted to do it. The last thing they needed was Tommy to come back and immediately think he was trapped again. But they didn’t trust Dream to run off with the totem and the book the moment they step outside, so they were forced to do it in the cell.

So they start to follow the instructions in the book, and everything’s going as planned at first. But instead of Tommy coming back when Sam gives the life, Kristin appears. In full goddess garb, exactly as depicted in Schlatt’s book.

Dream, for one in his fucking life, his petrified. Because that’s the goddess of death, why is she here? XD isn’t here to protect him oh shit!

But Tubbo knows who she is. Tommy told him all about his mum being a goddess, but Tubbo had always assumed it was an exaggeration or just a bit.

It most definitely is not a bit.

Before they can all start freaking out, she turns to Sam and gives him back his life, since it hadn’t been used. “You don’t need to do that, little Nook. You can have this, I’ll bring him back.”

Sam kind of takes it, hesitantly, watching her carefully. Tubbo doesn’t know whether he’s going to cry or laugh or collapse.

Then she turns to Dream and says: “Because the sacrifice does not need to be freely given.”

I bet you can see where this is going.

She pulls Dream’s last life out of him, kicking and screaming, and uses it to complete the resurrection, effectively bringing Tommy back from the dead.

“Dream was sacrificed by Mumza in order to revive TommyInnit” appears in the chat.

There’s a sobbing reunion, and a fucking dead body on the floor, but Tommy’s back and he’s alive again. Yay!

But Kristin isn’t done yet, she beckons them to follow her, and she goes to track down Phil and Techno.

Phil and Techno are silently sweating, having seen the message in the chat and knowing things are about to go down. Mumza is pissed. Even though they know that she would never hurt them, she’s still terrifying when she’s angry.

They eventually make it to Techno’s cabin, where Phil and Techno are waiting for them. There’s a tense few moments of silence as Phil and Techno stare at Kristin and the newly revived Tommy, before she speaks.

“Phil, dear, I’m going to need that totem around your neck.”

Phil gives it to her without complaint, trying to apologize for not protecting Wilbur and Tommy like he’d promised to, but Kristin is having none of it. She turns away from him and speaks to Techno next.

“I do apologize for this, but think of it as punishment for trying to kill your brother on multiple occasions.”

She takes one of Techno’s lives, who doesn’t fight her like Dream had. He lets it happen, because you don’t piss of Mumza more than you already have.

Kristin uses the life and the totem to bring back Wilbur, who is very confused but mostly happy to see Tommy again considering from his perspective Tommy just vanished without warning after Kristin left the afterlife.

Anyways, don’t know how this will end, but Wilbur and Tommy are back alive. Dream’s dead, the fucker. Maybe Schlatt gets revived by Connor making a deal with Kristin at some point? Redeemed Schlatt though, because I imagine Wilbur, Tommy, and Schlatt had plenty of time to work through their shit.

1) So I'm getting the idea that the remnants want to get rid of Hopes Peak because of all of the unethical shit, but what about Junko? And a few follow-ups, why does she go to the remnants alone and not with Mukuro? What is the relationship between those two also?

2) You said something about miu startin an uprising, does that include just the v3 kids or do the the kids join in? And do they eventually team up w/ the remnants?

3) what's the dynamic between mukuro kaito and maki?? Iirc you mentioned something about that a bit ago?

4) do they have like, costumes or something? Because with the whole 'hopes peak exploiting kids by using their public image to sell merch' thing, Id assume they just wouldn't let them go about in plain clothing?

5) what's ur stance on fanart?? I love this au bro and I kinda wanna draw something??

1) junko is portrayed as the dumb ditzy bad girl, same as her mentor, ibuki. she HATES it with a passion and wants out. so when the remnants "die", of course she finds them and springs them. and of course mukuro comes with her. what she doesn't count on is mukuro going back. they're a lot more realistic siblings in this au i think FDSKFSD mukuro isn't just blind devotion. she makes her own choices, even when it's hard.

2) yeah!! she gets in contact with junko after a LOT of stuff goes down and basically convinces them to help take down hope's peak in a more constructive way. there's a cool parallel of chiaki trying from the inside, junko from the outside, and miu from somewhere in the middle. she's making her own path.

"Makoto refuses to take a sidekick and Mukuro gets saddled with two. Kaito and Maki.

In spite of not being the “leader” or paired up with Makoto, he still tries to fill the role. He’s Luminary, getting the chance to guide others! To pep them up and help them out! Tenko does not take super well to these attempts to be the unofficial leader. They clash a lot at first.

Kaito was originally going to be Makoto’s sidekick. Not even for battle reasons, but to groom Kaito into being the next leader. He has the looks. He has the presence. He has the desire to be the hero. What he doesn’t have is the ability to come back from death like Makoto can. Makoto puts down his fist and pulls all the strings he can get to reject Kaito and transfer him to Mukuro. Because he trusts Mukuro to keep him safe, which is more than Mukuro could ever hope for because she's a defector from the Remnants, and now she’s being trusted!

The moment they try to pair Makoto and Kaito together is the same moment Makoto realizes that Hope’s Peak truly doesn’t care about them. They’re setting Kaito up to be a martyr. He's brash and stubborn and self-sacrificing and so so so starry eyed when it comes to Hope’s Peak and powers and he is going to get himself killed! And Hope's Peak knows and they know this kid idolizes the heroes and the school and the idea of being a hero and still they do not care! There is no way Kaito will not die. Even after this Kaito blames Makoto. He had the chance to be a star, to really help people, and in his eyes Makoto took that chance away."

"Maki’s whole life is for the orphanage. Her entire worth is her worth as a weapon, in order to support the orphanage financially. She volunteers to be an assassin in place of her girl best friend. Assassin training is a lot of torture essentially. Because of this, being a healer hits her hard. She's not allowed to fight because she has to stay behind to heal. She feels useless. She’s not being utilized to her full potential. This is entirely purposeful on Hope’s Peak’s part.

Maki’s healing powers are also a big part of why Makoto pushes for Kaito to be put with Mukuro. Kaito is gonna die. Might as well have someone who can help him.

Maki’s power is so incompatible with her image of herself. This isn’t what she does. She's a weapon. And weapons don't heal.

Miu and Angie are jealous of Maki. Angie subtly and subconsciously. She’s almost passive aggressive about it. Miu loudly. Miu calls her names at breakfast and she just takes it. Not only can Maki touch others, but she can help them.

Nobody gets what they want.

After Kaito dies or nearly dies, and then comes back he starts pulling Makotos. Maki's always there to bring him back. Until she isn’t.

Mukuro and her idiots. The four of them (Mukuro, Hiro, Maki and Kaito) work as a cohesive unit. Mukuro the reluctant older sister, Hiro falling into the role he usually fills and swearing to be better this time. Both of them seeking some sort of redemption."

4) all their canon outfits are their costumes. they're chosen to fit a specific image. most of them HATE their costumes at the beginning, and even the ones that like them (miu, celestia) grow to despise them.
