So! I think I've figured out how to tag both the leosagi and leochi ships.

Since this is mainly a BLOG and not just a random social media page, it will be easier for me to organize the tags as if this were a more traditional blogging site. So I will be trying to keep the tags as few and as relevant as possible.

I'll be mainly using YuiNardo / yuinardo from now on for just the Yuichi Usagi/rottmnt Leo ship, and stuff like my own fanart. it's specifically "show x show" for me (Yuichi x Nardo, bc those are their unique names in their respective shows xD) and not some of the fan OC stuff

leosagi for the general 2003 Miyamoto Usagi/Leonardo ship but maybe also i.e. crossovers where ppl draw all the versions?

katanashipping also for 2003 leosagi? like I guess I'll decide based on how specific it gets (edit 1.05.23) definitely about 2003 leosagi, since that's where it originated from

I'll use 2003 leosagi when it gets more specific i.e. fanfic recs or longform comics which I wanna find later

Rise Leosagi for the 2018 versions that people have made their own, based on the Miyamoto/Leo ship (lol this might be difficult to retag, cuz I'm not sure what I've tagged with what anymore)

Sliderbunny for people's own versions of rottmnt Leo and (both romantic and platonic ships, cuz there aren't as many posts for this anymore)

and I guess Leochi for something more specific? like that's been the tag now for Leo/Yuichi but I'm not sure where it started from so idk how to use it but I guess I'll find out when I see more stuff in the tag lol. might use it just for reblogs/fanart but I’ll see

I can't remember any other names so those are it for now. I probably won’t use the longer names like Yuichi x Leo, Miyamoto x Leonardo etc just bc I find it tedious to use that many spaces in tags when tagging can be sorta annoying to do on mobile and then fix later on PC. I’m more of a “tag and go” kind of person and I like my tags to be easy to write.

like im sorry I write so much (I don't enjoy writing lenghty things) but i legit need to tag like an oldschool blog occasionally bc I ENJOY finding stuff on my own blog later. it just makes sense! it is so confusing going thru multiple tags for the same thing when it could have a singular tag. or a single new tag for a specific use. and I've forgotten to do that after using social media so much for so long lol

anyway this isn't that important i am just chillin and remembered that I thought of this and needed to post it so I wouldn't forget.

Thinking of that, I guess the tag clogging starts to make sense, considering how much people are more used to the "tag clouds" popularized by twitter and instagram and social-media-like sites before those (the sites inbetween blogging and web 2.0, maybe, but didn't really use those as much so I don't remember either) + the confusion about what the og leosagi was (+ maybe general tmnt fandom confusion over various versions of media for the franchise)

lol it's gonna take a bit long but I'll reorganize the blog more once I have a bit of time on the side from other stuff. now it feels nice that this blog isn't actually that big yet. I don't use sideblogs very long usually and it's my first time actually making anything TMNT related for this long, so it'll be interesting seeing where this blog will go in general. like how it's probably been subtle that while this userhandle/blog started as a tMNT sideblog, I actually have started blogging more about Usagi Chronicles now bc I like the show. and idk what else I'll post if I have time but I will probs keep it as a reblog blog anyways!

I try not to write long blog posts on tumblr anymore but I think the whole "leosagi-leochi tag clogging" point brought up in the "Why do we ship leosagi" video is also just a good point abt how we don't really treat blogs like blogs anymore. every sort of behaviour online has become so influenced by the want to make it trend or have it at least be read at all ("social media" aspect of online behavior now) that even stuff like ao3, a fanfic site, will have tags like "AO3 algothithm, PLEASE be nice to me" when sites like that don't even HAVE algorhithms. it's interesting to think about but also a bit sad on the side because that "tag clouding" does seem to be the only way for some works to become noticed on the above-mentioned actual social media sites. this almost makes me miss sites like deviantart and blogger because things always felt more centralized and easy to find vs twitter, insta or occasionally even tumblr.

lol all this just to organize my thoughts on ship tags

KAYPEACE21 LOCKED OUT OF TUMBLR ACCOUNT

Hey guys this is kaypeace21.Yesterday I was (hopefully temporarily ) locked out of my original tumblr account.

So for the time being I making a new account here. Some may be skeptical of my identity -for those who also follow my youtube channel. I did link new messages of my youtube channel “Stranger nerd” with this announcement (as 1 form of verification). And I’m also directly messaging strangertheory, willthecleric, and hawkinsschoolcounscelor  (who I messaged often before this) . They will verify my identity soon -since I gave them info they told me about themselves in private. And only the real kaypeace would know (since we dm-all the time).

Not going to lie dealing with covid ,alot of other life stuff, plus losing my account has been very stressful/emotionally draining. So I’ll prob start doing my normal long analyses next week (or whenever my posts start showing up in the tags again-because new account’s poss don’t show up in the tags for a while). 

All of my followers know how much time, effort , creative passion, and love I put into my blog- so the possibility I may not get it back is really heart breaking tbh. (And starting at 0 followers when i was about to hit 3k is also incredibly depressing to me).

 I may get my old account back so please don’t unfollow my original account (but it’s hard to say how long it’ll take to get back- if i’m lucky enough to get access again) .

it’s funny how things happen in pairs sometimes. i’ve had two recent conversations on fandom content so i just wanted to post this and will probs be adding it to my rules.

i can’t think of any fandoms i’m against. i have some canon/fandom muses i’ve written/still write but i primarily write oc’s more consistently. so when it comes to fandoms i don’t really have negative opinions since i’m never really immersed in any one scene like that. which also means i don’t really keep up with news and stuff on them. no, i don’t avoid information - i just don’t frequent spaces that talk about things like that.

sometimes i see blogs exclude certain fandoms. that’s fine, it’s about your comfort and all that. this blog, however, has no preferences currently. i have mutuals and i have followers - if i’m not following you there are a few reasons for it: 1) i can’t see us writing together (the rare instance) 2) i didn’t get a notification because thx tumblr (frequent) 3) i’m figuring out potential material on how we can interact based on watching your blog for a bit first (yes, how i mainly do)

for people who are following me you’ll note i am not mutuals only. because there are plenty of times my uncertainty changes by interacting with you guys before i follow back. the reason i don’t follow asap is never based on a fandom or a fandom character. i really feel fucking awkward following someone only to unfollow them when nothing happens between us. asdfghjkl hence why i lurk first before i follow anyone.

anyone following me is welcomed to message me or participate with the stuff on this blog. i usually send some asks or like posts, etc, to let you guys know i’m watching even if i’m not following yet. cause that’s my comfort of initial engagement.

if any of my mutuals/followers have issues with my openness to engage with whomever (so long as they aren’t sincerely problematic, of course) you can either unfollow me of block the url tag of the person i’m writing with. i don’t have fancy tags but i always add the url of the person i reply to since i’m pretty sure you can block tags from showing up on your dash. what i won’t do is stop engaging with people because you’re uncomfortable. not unless there is reason for it and you can present me with the evidence for it. cancel culture has its pros and cons and i don’t like the idea of abandoning someone over what ifs.

all i ever ask is that everyone communicates with me. have a conversation, enlighten me - don’t assume i know shit. more than half the time i don’t know a thing because i only frequent like three places online lmfao. two are for work, one is this.

i hope this encourages followers and mutuals of mine. this isn’t meant to put anyone away. i’m just informing you all that i’m open, typically ignorant and too tired to look into every single fandom i engage with and keep up with them. i welcome everyone and engaging with everyone. if it doesn’t work out between us ic or ooc, i’m glad we tried! ^^

I'm new to the fandom because i just started the show during quarantine and I know you've read like every single thing ever written, so do you have a list of your favorites from like when season 5 was airing, or this fall, or whatever? It's kind of overwhelming to go back that far on AO3 and know what is any good or like doent contratict the rest of the show now? THANK YOU

i think the best way for me to answer this is gonna be with kind of a patchwork approach, so...

here are some canon-related fic recs, arranged by season, if you’re specifically looking for things that take place in and around what happens on the show. certainly not all of them were written DURING the season indicated, but some of them definitely were written during s5 or earlier. (just a note that that’s a link to a blog page, which won’t work in the app, so if you’re on mobile, be sure to open it in your browser instead) they’re prob not all entirely s6 compliant either, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they aren’t worth a read anyway.

then, there’s my fic round-ups if you want to look at things more based on when they were published. there are all kinds of fics in those, including AUs, etc. which may not quite be what you’re looking for, but i publish them twice a month and they only include fics that were completed in that half of the month. if you scroll back about halfway down the first page of that tag, you’ll get to the fall and then can work your way back through recs from there. i started that last spring, so you can get recs all the way back through april 2019 by going that route.

Peters obsession with you started when he first met you, which happened to be your first day at school.

He was too busy talking to Ned, to notice that you and he were about to collide.

He only realized it a little too late, when he crashed into you, making the books in your hand fall to the ground, with a loud thud.

MJ rolled her eyes at Peter, she was about to help you when Peter bet her to it.

“I’m sorry, it’s all my fault, here let me help you.” Peter stammered out, kneeling beside you, he started to pick up the books as well, stacking them up, he turned to face you and that’s when his guilty expression turned into a look of awe. He was memorized by you. To him, you were the most beautiful girl in Midtown.

“Thanks.” you responded, with a soft voice, motioning him to hand you the books he stacked up over, but he just kept staring at you like you were the most interesting thing in the world, and it slightly made you nervous.

You were about to say something, but MJ, quickly grabbed your books for you, making Peter snap out of his little daydream.

You quickly looked away, feeling flustered, as you got up, MJ handed you the books, while Peter was blushing, he quickly stood up as well, as he nervously stood next to his friend Ned, looking anywhere but at you, while awkwardly scratching his neck.

“And, these losers are-” MJ spoke, but Ned interrupted her.

“I’m Ned.” Ned spoke, way to excitedly, while you just smiled at him, your head turned to face the guy that you bumped into, waiting for him to introduce himself. He honestly looked like a deer caught in headlights when he looked at you.

“Hey, I’m-I’m-I’m par- Peter Parker.” Peter stuttered out, making you give him a reassuring smile, which made his heart melt.

“I’m y/n.” you greeted, looking at Peter then at Ned, then back to Peter.

Just as one of them was about to say something, MJ interrupted them.

“Let’s leave these losers, I still got to show you around the rest of the school.” MJ spoke, with a monotoned voice.

Peter staring dreamily at you all the time, with his elbow, propped up on the table, as he rested his cheek on the palm of his hand.

A couple of times you have caught him staring at you. which makes him quickly look away, and blush.

The more you hang out/sit with him, Ned and MJ at lunch the more his obsession with you grows.

MJ and Ned teasing him a lot, about his obsession with you. Especially when he stares at you.

Peter basically babbling to MJ and Ned about you. which annoys MJ, since you are all he talks about, she loves you dearly, but hearing Peter talk about you all the time was getting annoying.

“She’s so pretty.” Peter sighed dreamily.

“So, just cause she’s so pretty, that’s her only worth.” MJ snapped, looking up from her book.

“W-what, n-no, she has other qualities like the way she smiles, the way she-” Peter rambled, only for MJ to let out a huff and look back down at the page on the book.

MJ rolled her eyes, as Peter continued his rambling.

Ned encouraging Peter just to ask you out. But always gets the same response.

“Why don’t you just ask her out?” Ned asked, making Peters gaze from you snap towards his best friend, his eyes widening in fear.

“I can’t, she’s so out of my league.” Peter sighed, turning his head back towards you, as you put food on your tray, which made MJ roll her eyes.

“Of course, you’re out of her league, she prob thinks your creepy, staring at her all the time.” MJ grumbled.

“Don’t listen to her, you never know if you don’t ask her out, what’s the worst that could happen?” Ned encouraged him.

“She could reject you.” MJ spoke blankly, Ned and Peters heads snapped towards MJ, as she looked up from her book.

“Or she could share the feelings you feel for her back.” Ned stated.

“Why would she feel the same way, he is a loser.” MJ spoke, just as Ned was about to defend his best friend, Peter interrupted him.

“Sh, she’s coming over.” Peter stammered out, eyes wide, as he saw you approach the table, his heart thudding against his chest.

“Who feels the same way? And who is a loser?” you asked, as you sat down, on the bench in front of Peter and Ned.

“No one, its nothing.” Peter stuttered out, making you raise your eyebrow at him.

“Okay,” you looked over at MJ, she only shrugged her shoulders, looking disinterested in the conversation you just walked in on. You looked back at Ned and Peter suspiciously, which they both avoided your gaze. What the hell are they talking about? You thought to yourself.

Nearly everyone at school knew Peter had a huge crush on you, except for you.

Since you don’t know he is Spider-Man he would use that to his advantage to watch you, check if you were in any danger.

Most of his night patrols are seeing if you are in any danger or watching you.

You are basically all Peter thinks about, every second of the day and night, even before he goes to sleep and when he wakes up.

Peter mostly stutters a lot when he is talking to you or talks way to fast. Not that you mind.

Or he gets speechless and just stares at you.

Peter daydreaming of being your boyfriend a lot, what its like to kiss your lips, run his fingers through your hair, twirl your hair, hug you and so on.

Slightly getting jealous when another guy or girl flirts with you.

Whenever he sees you cry, it hurts him, so he does his best to comfort you and cheer you up.

Helping you out when you struggle with homework. Which means study dates.

Following all your social media accounts, and liking/watching all the things you post, he kind of stalks you on them.

Since he gets preoccupied with thinking of you, he often forgets about the other things he must do.

Peter would do anything for you.

He adores you so much.

Every time he works up the courage to ask you out or confess his feelings he chickens out.

Peter often forgets that MJ and Ned are there when all four of you are hanging out.

Or he just forgets to invite them or doesn’t even think of inviting them when he hangs out with you.

Peter gushing to his Aunt May about you, making her smile at him.

Peter taking pictures of you. either on his phone or his camera.

He has you as his home screen on his phone.

Tom Holland:

Tom basically is head over heels in love with you. (well that’s what he thinks)

You are basically all he thinks about, whether they are pure thoughts or dirty ones.

He follows you on every social media you have.

Texts you nearly every morning and night, and when he is on break from filming.

Tom liking all your Instagram posts, sometimes he leaves comments.

Watching your Instagram stories.

Liking all your tweets on twitter. And replying to them.

Let’s face it Tom probably screenshots the selfies you take to admire them some more. {or save them}

Half is camera roll, is just pictures of you, and he ain’t even embarrassed about it either.

Harrison, Harry, Sam, Jacob, Zendaya, Jake, even some other people tease him about his obsession with you.

Especially when you are around him.

Since your Zendaya’s best friend she tries to set you’s two up, but to no success. Tom just doesn’t seem to want to confess his feelings or he is too afraid, you won't feel the same way.

“Z, do you think y/n likes me?” Tom asked, making Zendaya look at him, before she could respond he spoke again.

“Because I might just ask her out.” Tom spoke, making Zendaya gives him a ‘are you serious’ look.

“I just hooked you two up not long ago, and you chickened out.” She grumbled.

“I know but I was really nervous, I thought she might not feel the same way and I panicked.” He rushed out.

“Fine, and yes she likes you more than a friend should.” Zendaya responded.

“Really, you sure, you ain’t lying to me?” he asked, clearly way too excited.

“Why would I lie about that, but if you break her heart, I’ll break your bones.” She responded.

“I would never dream about breaking her heart, she means everything to me.” Tom babbled.

“I know, we all know, your fans know, the whole world knows, heck y/n probably knows you are obsessed with her.” Zendaya spoke.

He daydreams about you constantly that he often loses touch of reality.

He has heart eyes whenever he talks about you or looks at you, or when you talk to him or he talks to you.

Whenever he is around you, he was heart eyes for you.

Basically, telling his friends random facts about you or news.

“I know she’s my best friend.” Zendaya replied.

“Oh, right, I forgot.” Tom spoke.

“How, could you forget, I thought you knew everything about her.” Zendaya teased him, making Tom’s eyes widen.

Tom gushing about you to anyone that listens, most of them get annoyed by it.

Tom reading every news article about you.

Watching the movies/tv-shows you appeared in, like repeatedly.

Tom getting jealous when you get pictured with your costar/ or another girl/boy or reported dating a costar.

Watching your interviews.

Whenever he hears you laugh, it makes his heart swell. Also, when you smile it makes his day/night.

Tom basically mentioning you in every interview he does, even if your name isn’t brought up in it.

Tom would do anything for you, you name it he will do it.

Every time he looks at you or thinks about you, he is in awe.

Tom has a selfie of you, as his lock screen.

Tom often talks fast when he is around you.

Sometimes you just take his breath away and leave him speechless.

He would also show off a lot when he is hanging around you.

Since you mentioned being in the mood for asks: I think I like my best friend. She knows I'm not straight. But has never actually said she's not straight but has discussed possibility of her sexuality being fluid? She doesn't open up to anyone. And so it's really hard to understand her feelings and I am always afraid of crossing the line by asking her too many questions? So I just avoid asking a question twice. I know our friendship will be ruined if I let her know about my feelings ( 1/2 )

But idk what to do with all these pent up feelings :( she gets close to me but then seems to be very distant after a while. Back and forth. Idk what to do. hello dear!! 💜💜💜 okay first and foremost never never feel like you have to apologize for sending long/multi-part asks/rambling/etc i adore getting asks and it is never something you should feel bad about!!

now, onto advice here...there are a lot of different options ofc for what you could do, and i won’t say that there’s one right answer or one thing that’s better than another. i am and always will be an advocate for communication and honesty in relationships/friendships/etc, but i think the first thing that needs to happen is you need to decide what route you want to go

the kind of key directions would ofc be to 1. explain your feelings and see if she feels the same 2. decide that you do Not want your current friendship with her to change and that you would rather move on from being interested in her without mentioning that you have feelings or 3. keep on the same path you’re currently on and sort of just...wait it out

uhhh i will say that option 3 is usually...one to avoid, if you can. specifically bc this will probably leave you feeling Bad and that’d be something that’s uhhh not good lmao

so say you want to try telling her how you feel, naturally this comes with the risk (as you mentioned) that she might not feel the same/that you might ruin the friendship by saying something about it, but unfortunately...there’s not really much of a way around that risk. that said, and keeping in mind that idk her or how she tends to act/react to certain situations, there are probably ways to go about this that mitigate some of the risks

if i were in your shoes and decided i wanted to go this route, i might genuinely try to keep it as lowkey and casual as possible, and try to avoid making it some Big Thing™. i’d probs just say smth like ‘hey y’know i think i might have feelings for u beyond just friendship, i wanted to just let you know in case you felt the same, but if not, no worries! it doesn’t change that i still want to be friends with you, and i obviously am not gonna act any differently toward you if you don’t feel the same.’ like. i would try to make it clear that 1. i wouldn’t want anything to change if she didn’t feel the same and 2. that i have no expectations of her

especially since it sounds like she’s still figuring out who she might be into, i might also add something like ‘i totally understand you’re still figuring stuff out, i don’t want you to feel any added pressure, just wanted to be open and honest with you’ (sometimes being open can help others open up too!)

now, that said, it sounds like you might be erring more on the side of wanting to move on and get over your feelings for her - which is totally valid! or, ofc, if you tell her and she’s like ‘yeah man sorry i’m just not into you!’ then u would naturally want to move on without making things uncomfy. in that event, i have one very major recommendation: distractions

i get it! it’s hard with quarantine to keep your mind occupied with other things/people/etc, but unfortunately, moving on isn’t something that can just be done, it requires practice and patience and time

one thing you can try is choosing something you already enjoy and finding an aspect of that to dive deeper into. for example, fan of a show/book? go search for fanart or fanfic if you’re into that! come up with an oc just for fun in whatever universe that piece of media is in, even if u never show it to anyone. pick a few blogs you’ve seen who post a lot and check them out, maybe follow if they seem cool! write fic or draw art, whether it be of an oc or existing characters or even just scenes or something! especially try this out even if you’ve never done either of those things before - and don’t get discouraged if those things aren’t perfect, just give them a shot and you might find something you really enjoy! grab a character or ship you usually don’t give much attention to/haven’t seen before and go check out their tag!

along this route, i speak a lot about fandom/fictional media bc that is what i personally use as an escape, but the same goes for activism/politics/languages/animals/other subjects/literally anything that is of interest to you! there is almost always an unexplored aspect of something that you can dive into. but! in the event that you can’t or don’t find anything interesting...

another thing is to find something new! a show you’ve heard about but never watched (or a show you’ve literally never heard of before but like just keeps popping up on ur netflix page), a book you’ve been putting off reading, a youtuber that seems p cool, a skill or language or craft or really, literally anything you haven’t done, and trying it. invest a bit of time and energy and just see where it takes you, let yourself think about this new thing and follow your line of curiosity. some of the best (and worst/dumbest/most cursed) ideas i’ve ever had came from just. randomly following the line of curiosity in my head and seeing where it takes me. hell, that’s what led to me writing fic in the first place!

and be forgiving of yourself too, don’t associate thoughts about this person with any kind of ‘oh shit i’m not supposed to be thinking about her’ kind of reactions, just gently redirect your thoughts to that one episode you just watched, or the question you have about the universe it exists in, or what crocheting pattern you want to try out first, etc etc etc. again, this kind of thing takes time and patience and won’t happen overnight, but you absolutely can get there!

the last ‘distraction’ i tend to go for is revisiting old interests! that fic or book you read a long time ago but still have/still have bookmarked as a fave? pick it back up and give it a reread - the cool thing about stories is that, over time, our perspectives change, and the way we experience the story and the emotions we feel over it change as well. same goes for old shows, esp if it’s been a minute! you can even do this in tandem with the first distraction type and dig back into fandoms you haven’t seen in a while!

it can be hard to remember sometimes - esp while we’re in quarantine! - that worlds exist outside our current interests and spheres of influence. whatever you decide to do, dear, just remember that things will be okay in the end (even if they’re not okay at first) so long as you try to do what’s right for you and be thoughtful and caring along the way. i hope this helped at least a little!

Hullo (hopefully future) friends! I’ve got a bit of a weird proposal.

(For anyone who saw the first one on my OTHER-OTHER side blog, this is redux, the 2.0, because that sideblog was TOO NEW to show up in tags and I am really hoping that this one shows up on this MUCH OLDER and REPURPOSED sideblog!)

Sannan :: Sannan speaks to my love of polite but cold characters, and it’s only a bonus that he’s a megane, which I’ve also always loved! As mentioned above, he’s probably tied with Okita as favorite Hakuouki dude, but I think Okita’d be easier to play.

Kazama :: Kazama is fun because I’ve always had a love for garbage can style kidnap-and-seduce plotlines if that was your kind of thing!

Saito :: I love Saito aesthetically and his personality is pretty rad and I’d rank him as pretty up their on faves, but I admit I don’t have overmuch experience when it comes to awkward slow-to-open-up kinda boys! I’m sure we could make it work though.

Other dudes :: I’d be willing to try honestly most anyone from Hakuouki but these are the ones above are the ones I feel most confident/interested in playing! If you’d like someone else, you can most certainly ask, especially if you have some kind of plotline you’d like to see!

Reiji :: As mentioned, I love megane, and Reiji’s probs my favorite of everyone in the whole dang series. Older? Check. Smart? Check. Responsible? Check. Cold? Double check. Really fucking mean? Check. Smirky? Well, in the games, yes!

Shuu :: Sorry Reiji, but I also love Shuu. I might make him just a twinge OOC because his laziness might make advancing the plot kind of headachey, but other than tht, I love this loser.

Subaru :: Subaru, contrary to his third place on this list, is probably pretty close behind Reiji for favorites. Aggressive, ill-refined, totally willing to fight everyone – I admit I tend to play the more well-spoken and calculating kind of characters more, but I’d be willing to rock Subaru for you to the best of my ability!

Ruki :: I won’t say Ruki’s my favorite of the Mukami brothers but I like him a lot and I think I’d play him well!

Everyone else except Azusa and Kou :: Spoiler: I love Azusa to death and find him adorable but I don’t really relish playing openly masochistic characters, so he’s a no go unless we can work something out! Kou is – no offense, but I just really do not like Kou. As far as the famous Sakamaki triplets go, Kanato is one of my absolute all time favorites, and I’d be willing to play him with the right person… but we all know he’s kind of an absolute nutbag, so I’m hesitant to dump that on anyone! Ayato is a staple and Laito could be… like Kanato, I think I’d have to feel pretty assured by my partner they could handle the grosser parts of his character. Open to exploring it, however!

I’m not gonna bother sectioning everyone into neat little areas cause there is so few, but Toma is my favorite (I’m a real sucker for yandere, whoops). I’d be willing to play him, of course, provided my partner was comfortable with it! I’d also be willing to do Kent (my second favorite!), Shin and maaaaaaybe Ukyo. Sorry, I didn’t really care for Ikki – not because Ikki was bad (he was actually cool!) but because fan girl route characters drive me BANANAS.

Honestly, I’m gonna be real with everyone here: I love roleplaying because it’s like writing fanfiction with someone else, so it’s all the fun and self indulgence of fanfiction, but better, cause ya know – someone else is doing it with you! And I’m really here for the self indulgence, so please go ham.

Yeah, you can play the MC of the game, and I’d be cool with that! But honestly, I love OCs, and I’d love to hear about and plot with your OCs. I have some ideas for potential plots (especially for Hakuouki), but I’m also open to your ideas, too, and I think a lot of plots could work best outside the confines of a pre-established MC. Also, you get to show me your drawings/face-claims/whatever for your characters, and that’s pretty rad!!

Also, as someone had asked when I tried to post this on my previously non-functional blog, I’m also open to crossovers! I’m cool even if I don’t know much about the character -- you’ll just have to pardon my ignorance.

So, uh… RULES? RP STYLE? ETC? SOME POORLY ORGANIZED POINTS

+ Yeah, I’m deffo 21+ so ideally you would be too, especially if there’s anything like, remotely scandalous going on! I’m not too sure I feel very comfortable RPing with anyone younger than 18, mostly just because there’d be such a big age difference between us. Rest assured it isn’t because I think I’m better than you, or being ageist! It’s mostly just for my own sense of comfort!

+ Speaking of scandalous, I don’t push hard for anything super graphic unless that’s your style because I’m very much a person who loves drowning in the emotions of “holy crap does this guy really like this lady a lot”. I tend to be over indulgent as heck when it comes to inner monologues describing just how much your character makes mine’s heart go doki-doki, so expect a lot of that. If we start heading towards fuck-making of the graphic non-fade-to-black-variety, we should deffo discuss the sorts of things you discuss before those scenes! (Kinks? I GUESS???) But, as mentioned, it’s deffo not at all on top of my list of prerogatives. We need to BUILD for that!

+ My RP style tends to be 3rd or 2nd (lmao, Homestuck) person, present tense, a couple paragraphs to “oh my god, you can shut up now”. You can write however you like, with my only request being that you be passably literate! Not like, snootily literate. You get what I mean? I hope so. ):

+ As far as activity goes, I’m also fine with the Tumblr esque style of replying whenever you get around to it! If we both happen to be on for a barrage of replies, great! If we can only get one or two out a day, also great! I’m pretty easy going, honestly.

+ I love working in universe and also going mad with AUs. Find some cute starters or AU ideas on tumblr and you wanna throw them at me? I’m always open. From vampires where there are none to school AUs to coffee shop AUs I am willing to try most things, but note: I am primarily a fan of DRAMATIC ROMANCE so keep that in mind!

You should, he thinks, and not without a hint of guilt, be more worried about yourself.

I’m procrastinating like a motherfucker right now because I’ve got ToTL and other fanfics to work on and three essays I’ve gotta write for school and my brain is just going ‘No! None of that! Something else!’ so I’m doing a tag challenge to get my head back in the game.

1. What is your full name?

I don’t give my name out online, but my online name is Crystal. If I had to pick a last name for my online persona, I’d probably pick Kyle or Celestial. Both of them are equally stupid and ridiculous, but they're last names of some of my favorite OC’s throughout the years and I’d love to have either one.

2. What is your nickname?

Cry. My partner says its morbid but I think its cute. I also like Criss but for the love of god, please don't call me Crissy (or Crissie or however the hell you want to spell it) because it makes me feel like a five-year-old or a pet dog.

Sagittarius. 

4. What is your favorite book series?

A Series Of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. I could name every reason why I liked it in painful detail but I’m just going to go with ‘Lemony Snicket wrote them really well’

I believe in aliens and I don’t NOT believe in ghosts. I’m not one of those people who think that aliens walk amongst us or even that aliens have ever visited earth but there are too many planets and possible combination of planetary environments for us to believe we are alone in the universe.

Don't have one. I don’t listen to a lot of radio because it requires A) a radio or B) a car. I have neither.

Assassins Creed Origins. It’s beautiful, The main characters great and the story is wonderful. I always come back to it whenever I leave. I must have completed it three times over by now.

I’m a very good listener and loyal to a fault. I’m quiet and I love doing housework (dishes and vacuuming and all that good shit) so I’m a great roommate.

I’m terrified of conflict and never want to argue with people. I’m a chronic pushover. I’ve lost count of the number of times that I’ve told my partner “I don’t want to be an inconvenience.”

Dogs. I love both animals, but dogs like me better so I like them better.

Autumn. Autumn in Australia is absolutely beautiful and the mildest of all the Australian seasons.

Yep. I gots myself a lil lady! I’m in a potentially polygamous, currently monogamous, asexual-bisexual lesbian relationship. Come June, we will have been together for three years!!! Yay us!!!

Nothing. My childhood was entirely forgettable.

My Partner, if that counts. She’s amazing and I love and trust her with my life.

The top part is brunette, my natural hair colour, and the bottom half is a reddy-orange-almost-blond colour. I’ll probs redye it to be a better shade of red. I want a more Natasha Romanoff sort of colour.

Other than my family and partner, not really anyone. Telling someone that I love them is incredibly personal for me so I don’t do it very often. @idontgiveaflyinggrayson69 comes pretty fucking close though.

Either @idontgiveaflyinggrayson69 or my one friend who reads my fanfics for me.  they are both pretty cool people who I feel comfortable enough to share my writing with, which is a big deal for me.

Avengers: Endgame. I mean, I’m terrified but I’m excited.

Marvel. Marvel comic. Marvel movies. Don’t care, just make it Marvel.

Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. It was good honest fun and got me into Marvel at a really young age. My favourite characters were Black Panther and vision, and to this day I’m not sure why.

My fanfic reading friend I mentioned earlier.

Yeah, kinda. I don’t go out of my way but I also don’t walk under ladders on principle.

I have a lot of fears and phobias but the most unusual one is dipsophobia. I have a fear of being drunk and not in control of my own actions. I don’t really have a fear of drinking itself but the being drunk is absolutely heartstopping terrifying for me.

I like being behind the camera, writing the scripts for videos and movies that the media and drama students at my school make. Its fun watching your stories come to life around you.

English Lit. I would say Accounting but technically I’m not in the class. I just chill out in there during my free. It's awesome.

I mostly have male friends as I’ve had bad experiences with female friends in the past. That being said, I have had two female friends in the past couple of years. One worked out and one really, REALLY didn’t. However, my partners’ a woman and I love her to bits.

My aesthetic is the forest but not an Australian forest because there are way too many spiders.

If you’re not going to remember it in 5 years, It’s not worth stressing about.

Oh, of course, all the time. I’m the only one who understands my crazy ideas and characters.

For lesser offenses, sure, but for stuff like Rape, Abuse, Murder, and genocide, No. They made there bed and now they sleep in it. 

106. If you found a wallet full of money on the ground, what would you do?

I’ve done that before, twice. The first time I opened it and saw that there was a student ID for a local school, so I handed it into my school (It was closer) and they called that school and returned it to the kid. The second time I opened it and saw a teacher ID for MY school and recognized the guy as my old DnT teacher, so I called the school and got him to call me. He arranged to have it picked up and I gave it back. Both times I didn’t think about taking anything from it because it just seemed wrong. 

107. Do you believe that people are capable of change?

I believe people can make mistakes and change for the better, but I also think they have to prove it. Actions really do speak louder than words. I also think its reasonable that if you’ve wronged someone, they have the right to reject your company/ friendship even if you’ve changed. You broke their trust once and its reasonable for them to question whether to trust you again.

Extremely.

109. Have you ever been on a plane?

Yes, quite a lot actually. My father lives in England so I’ve done Australia to England trip about 9 times. That’s a twenty-four-hour trip so its daunting but seeing him is worth it.

No. I had my ears pierced but I forgot to put earrings in after kickboxing one day and they closed over. I haven’t bothered to get them re-pierced since. 

111. What fictional character do you wish was real?

Steve Rogers. I want him to fight Donald Trump. 

112. Do you have any tattoos?

Nope. Always been scared that it will hurt too much. My step-sisters got a bunch and my mother’s got one and they all tell me conflicting stories about how painful it is. Plus, If I got a tattoo, I’d want it to be something memorable and special to me and as of right now I haven’t found anything that is that special for me. 

113. What is the best decision that you’ve made in your life so far?

Leaving an abusive relationship. 

114. Do you believe in karma?

I do but its more of a loose definition of Karma. I believe that if you do good things, good things will happen to you and vise versa. I know it’s not always true, sometimes awful things happen to good people and sometimes the worst of humanity get high honors and great experiences.   

115. Do you wear glasses or contacts?

Yeah. I’m severely short-sighted so I need to wear glasses every day. I’ve thought about wearing contact lenses, but don’t like the idea of voluntarily sticking stuff in my own eyes.

Yes and no. I’m open to the idea of having children but I don’t like the idea of actually giving birth. I’d like to adopt or foster children later in life when I settle down and have stability.

117. Who is the smartest person you know?

There’s this kid who when to high school with me who got a 98.6 ATAR, which was the highest of my grade that year. He was super smart, hacked things for fun and was the kinda kid that wrote assignments the day before and still got A’s. It was ridiculous.

Nothing comes to mind presently. I’ll have to get back to you guys on that one.

Yes, quite a lot actually. I have two modes. Sleep is for the weak and I could sleep for a week.

Dark blue or black with some sort of superhero logo on the front. Blue jeans.

Not particularly. The comfort zone is aptly named and I see no real reason to do anything stupid or dangerous just for the sake of it. I’ll explore new places but I’m not going bungee jumping or deep-sea diving.

Yes. I was on a news in a segment covering the steampunk festival, middle of last year. I looked like a wreck because I’d been standing in the Australian sun for hours but it was so much fun doing the interview.
