Can I just say that spooky bisexual characters are such a mood?

When I say spooky bisexual characters, I'm talking about these two:

The demon nerd and the witch. (Spooky)

Like they're very relatable to a lot of people too. Mostly with neurodivergence as Norma is confirmed autistic and Luz is ADHD coded.

They also have hyperfixations that people find relatable (Norma with everything Pauline Phoenix and the park and Luz with The Good Witch Azura).

(I personally relate way more with Norma, but I relate to Luz a tiny bit too)

Point is, these characters are amazing and have been doing the lord's work for bisexual people.

I also adore how they both have different types of coming out scenes with Norma's being more laid back and Luz's being more fun and showy.

One more thing, I also like how both of their coming out scenes are so wholesome and both of their mothers accept them for who they are. Not only that, but to see POC mothers accept their queer daughters on TV is such a pleasure to see.

I just love these two episodes and their bi representation, and to see bisexual characters just... exist and be themselves is so refreshing to see.

They bring me so much joy and I just had to share my thoughts about these two bisexual characters and the strides they're making for more bi or just openly queer characters.

Also, we need more spooky neurodivergent bisexuals.

Citadel Arc Strikes Again

Sooooo... I got to the bit of my Clone Wars rewatch that I've been procrastinating for weeks. And obviously, because the Domino Twins are involved, I have thoughts

Of course you all get dragged along as well 😙

Including you @saturn-sends-hugs @inkstainedhandswithrings and @the-bi-space-ace

Straight off the bat, look at our boys!!! I get so proud of them when I see them in their ARC armour. And I wanna know how much of a say Cody and Rex got in who came along on the mission because I like the idea of them just being like "our sons are coming and we will accept no objections"

Also, why does Echo look like he's ready to deck someone? Chill, dude. It's literally still the briefing.

But something I wanna talk about is how nervous Fives seems about this entire thing. While Echo seemed to be on board with the whole reprogrammed battle droid plan, Fives was less than enthused. And he was clearly unsure about the carbon freezing thing as well. It makes me wonder if he's been on edge about the mission from when they first found out about it and whether Echo had been comforting him and telling him that it was all going to be fine.

Because nothing makes this episode more gut-wrenching than the idea of a stressed out Fives feeling like something is going to go wrong and Echo telling him that everything is going to be okay. 😃

I don't know what happened to these guys during ARC training but Fives has become the one that's all "are we sure this is a good idea?" and Echo's in the briefing room like

And then we have "They're not about to let one of their own be tortured in the handing over of information that will help The Separatists win the war"

Oh the irony

How does this show get more depressing with every rewatch? You think you're prepared but haha NOPE

Of course I have to mention Fives handling carbon sickness like an absolute champ 🤜

And I'm not sure why this following pic makes my heart melt so much but it just does.

I think it's because we never got much of these three in action together and just seeing them all in a shot like this just makes me think about how far the Domino Twins have come. Rex found these two when they were shinies and now they're all working together with Echo and fives as ARC troopers. They grow up so fast (literally). 🥲

Edit: Looking back at that pic for a second... are there two Echos? That's not Fives in the back. That's Echo's helmet design. And I'm not convinced that the pouches on the chest plates are on the opposite sides like they should be. Rex is talking to two Echos???

Next episode! Oh boy...

Every other clone death aside for a moment, this show really just glossed over the whole "a clone getting cut in half by a door" thing.

The idea of these three being stuck between two sealed doors with half of their brother is horrifying. And the show just moves on like this didn't happen. THEY JUST WATCHED ONE OF THEIR OWN BROTHERS BE CUT IN HALF BY A DOOR WTF

What a happy kids show 😀

And unfortunately it doesn't get much happier.

But I do want to talk about design for a moment because I feel like we don't talk about the clone helmets enough, especially when it comes to things like this shot.

Animating emotion well is hard. Animating emotion well when you can't see your character's face is harder. But what I love is that because of the fact that the top of the visor is just a straight line, you can change the emotion being shown by simply having the character tilt their head.

The first shot clearly shows Echo realising what he needs to do and the next is this very strong look of determination. Just a split second apart, with no change but the tilt of the head, and the emotion changes. It's so cool and I feel like it doesn't get praised enough.

A three-part tragedy:

I think what makes this so heartbreaking is not just the fact that Fives has now lost his closest brother, and the last remaining member of his squad besides himself, but also the fact that it's so sudden. It so quickly went from Echo and Fives to just Fives.

And this is going to be gutting for Rex and Cody as well. They found the Domino Twins as shinies, they would have watched them settle into the 501st, they watched them grow up, were the ones to promote them ARC troopers and were just so freaking proud of these two.

And they not only lost one of them, but they watched this pair of clones, who have been stuck together like glue from the beginning, be torn apart. They didn't just see Echo go, they saw Fives lose Echo as well and that's heartbreaking.

None of them have time to process it either. They have to get out of there and leave Echo behind.

This scene where Fives warns them about the hounds approaching hurt as well because he just sounds so... hollow. He sounds like a man whose lost all hope, and I don't blame him. There's an emptiness now.

Rant Incoming

THESE POOR CLONES. THESE POOR FUCKING CLONES WHO HAVE JUST WATCHED THEIR BROTHERS DIE AND COULD DO NOTHING BUT LEAVE THEM BEHIND ARE NOW HAVING TO PARTICIPATE IN A JEDI FUNERAL DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY HAD NO OPPORTUNITY TO HONOUR THEIR FALLEN BROTHERS!!!

I'm not saying that Piell doesn't deserve to be honoured and have his body burned (side note: it's really convenient that there was lava everywhere for the whole burning the body thing) but this feels like such a kick in the teeth for the clones.

Also I just want Five's internal monologue here because he literally just watched his closest brother die trying to protect a Jedi who is now also dead. The important info still got back to the Jedi council but Echo gave his life to protect a man who didn't even make it off the planet.

ALSO THEY WATCHED ONE OF THEIR BROTHERS BE CUT IN HALF EARLIER WHY ARE WE IGNORING THE FACT THAT THAT WAS A THING???

Ngl I think I would rather just die than crawl across a wire like this

Despite being depressing as all hell, I do really like these episodes. I love something with actual tangible stakes and having points where they feel comfortable killing off important or well-loved characters is something I appreciate and respect (even if it just leads to endless despair about the Domino Twins).

It's a shame that Echo never gets mentioned between here and the final season because I would love to have explored Fives' response to his loss more. I do like how they handle it in these episodes though. It feels like there is at least some recognition of how Fives would be struggling with all this and it doesn't just have him trotting around like nothing happened.

Fives seemed so nervous for this mission and it's devastating to know how tragic it would be for him and Echo. They didn't go into this knowing that it would be the last time they ever saw each other, but it all got ripped away in an instant and there was nothing they could do about it.

And I think I'm just going to end it on this screenshot because I feel like it just sums it all up.

was at mine to return a book I had finished (your wish is my command by Deena Mohamed, an Egyptian graphic novel about a version of our world where you can buy wishes) and looking around for more books because library

picked up a couple more and went to the teen section because that's a good place to find queer books that aren't too long or full of sex scenes and whatnot and in the window they had this

Iskandar is extremely tall, buff, and generally logical and stoic with a bit of a temper. She's still coming to grips with her sexuality and struggles with vulnerability, but once you can get her in a mood she really melts like butter. Covered in extremely hot multicolored scars that glow. Prophetically destined to become a milf

Bikkri is a curt but highly intelligent Asura scientist currently adapting to a demon core in their chest, which gives them some monstrous qualities. Has a tendency to push themself too far. Extremely thoughtful and will remember everything you tell them about yourself and your interests, acting on it when you least expect it.

Newt is a bit of a plain-jane everyman, but he has a heart of gold. He believes in you. You've got this. He's your dad now!

Sibyl has experienced a lot of sorrow throughout her two lives, but maintains a degree of warm serenity despite the horrors. Broods like a hen. Was a freak back in her prime.

Alrich honestly never really knows what's going on but is just happy to be here at any given point. They're living life out of chronological order after spending their formative years, similarly achronologically, in a time loop. They're easygoing as it comes, and playful, but not naive.

Razza is grizzled, irreverent, keen, and hardheaded. One of my three commanders in my Triumvirate, she's also the representative for the Whispers and chief spearhead on all things Elder Dragons. A little bit clingy but hates admitting it.

V'rylla was a hero from the previous age, an enchantress wed to the Chosen One that took advantage of the war in heaven to join their ranks as an angel herself. She's conniving, adaptable, duplicitous, a temptress, and intoxicating. She's got a kid, somewhere. She can do freaky body horror shit.

Baraquathor is chronically fatigued, seems a hapless fool, and has a short attention span for an elf, but he plays up a lot of his weaknesses in order to disguise the fact that he's in charge of every situation. He's really, really convincing about it.

Fvriva is power hungry and craves eldritch knowledge beyond what is capable of being understood and comprehended to an unhealthy degree. As such, she tends to gravitate towards positions of cosmic power, and tends to step over whoever she has to in order to taste the most forbidden of fruits. Highly variable in a relationship, but it does tend to bring out the best and most brilliant in her.

Baphy is sweet but plagued by melancholy all her life. She's very quiet and likes to paint in her free time. Works as a fabric merchant. Recently had a miscarriage; wants kids still.

(i do feel bad requesting for specific characters even though it's incredibly easy to see who i want to smooch in this show. i love them all though and above all love to see authors get creative. go crazy go bonkers. ok with any character but the deep, homelander, stormfront, and firecracker.)

i'm a bi & ace jewish brazilian girl, 1.72m tall, with long, straight, brown hair (that i've always thought about dying but always chickened out of). no tattoos, even though i have a list of which ones i'd get and what do they mean. i'm from brazil but currently go to college in new york, majoring in theatre and minoring in translation. i'm fluent in portuguese and english, learning french, and have the life objective of becoming a polyglot.

i'm in love with theatre, literary analysis, linguistics, music, writing, and art in general — will absolutely ramble about anything i am interested in, and also might have strong opinions on stuff that maybe i didn't need to have a strong opinion on 💀 i can get a bit combative about that at times... i definitely take as my biggest skill, besides singing and acting which are quite literally my intended job (i want to be a musical theatre actress), eloquence and just my way with words (toxic trait is believing i'd talk my way out of a murder fr fr). friends that know me more recently would even say i'm an extrovert because of that, but honestly i am a pile of nerves of an introvert with social anxiety that simply loves yapping and putting on a show. most notable quirk/habit might be how precise i always am with finding the right words because i simply cannot leave an opening for misinterpretation (and that's on anxiety and a suspicion of undiagnosed adhd oops); that might lead me to be a bit picky (for the lack of a better word), specific, and/or literal with the words other people use as well.

other tidbits: i can't cook for shit, i love cats (i have a rescue named lily) but also like dogs a lot, i love kids and have been told i'm good with them. i'm crazy lucky for some reason and i love crime comedy movies. i'm almost always writing or thinking about writing but i can't ever finish a project (and you may have realized by now i write too much). i love arts & crafts & other manual activities, i do knot friendship bracelets to de-stress. my default hangout with anyone ever is grabbing coffee. i'm also pretty proud of my music taste — from alt rock to 40s-50s music, love curating the vibes and i'm a bit of a playlist freak. also i would 100% show brazilian music (mostly rock and mpb, brazilian popular music) to whoever i'm paired with 💥🇧🇷

when it comes to love life oh boy i am a disaster — the two situations i have ever gotten myself into were the objective hottest girl i know and the weirdest guy i've ever come across (and both are my good friends atm). for me doing something creative, like a project together, is the quickest way to bond; and being in cahoots with someone is the deepest form of connection. let's ramble about our interests, be weird together, cause a diplomatic crisis, watch a movie, write something, idk.

Annie is actually blown away by both your love of and intelligence with languages. She's always trying to learn both Portuguese and French sayings (mostly nicknames/"I love you") to surprise you. She loves the look of joy on your face when you realize what she's trying to say. Her pronunciation could use some work, but it's still very adorable

It melts Annie's heart when she sees you around children. She knows it can be a lot, with kids and their parents running up to her, asking her for pictures, showing off their Starlight costumes. She would understand it got a little exhausting. But you have never minded, instead you ask them questions and make them laugh, telling them they're little superheroes, too

Annie feels like she can truly be herself around you. After all those years with the religious conventions and the time she spent with Vought, she was never allowed to be herself. She couldn't show off her real laugh that's squeaky and high-pitched. She couldn't swear as a teenager or say all the crude jokes she thought of. With you, though, she can let loose. She doesn't have to uphold this image like she's had to her whole life

You and Annie are as equally terrible at cooking. You make a plan to cook together, learning recipes and measurements. Sometimes the food gets burned, or worse, under cooked, and a few times you've had to split it out, wondering where you went wrong? But, overall, it builds your skills together and it makes you feel better about your lack of skills

Annie comes to every show you're in at least three times. She'll bring Hughie and Kimiko first, then M.M. and Frenchie, and the third time she goes along, wanting to see you in your glory, feeling like this moment belongs to her. She shows up with flowers every time and tells you parts and songs she's loved as if you hadn't spent weeks practicing lines and songs with her. She's so proud of you, she can't contain herself. She definitely happy cries at the end when you take your bows!

He's a sentient rat trying to find the secret to immortality in a gothic sci-fi version of victorian london run by space bats that's underground hiding from the sun (who is sentient and will not let breaking the laws of physics and suchlike happen in the daylight) because he found out that rats only live two years and HES ONE AND A QUARTER.

He's like OH. HOLY SHIT. I DON'T WANT TO DIE. THAT'S NOT FAIR. because it's not to him, right? He's as sentient as any human or cat. And they get to live for decades. You know humans in the neath (underground) can live basically forever? Humans get to come back when they die down there. You know what doesn't? Rats. Rats have one life and they die and they only get two years but they are literally as sentient as everyone else. But also everyone treats them shittily because they're rats. Nobody takes him seriously as an academic. Nobody! they let tigers run a whole continent but they won't let a rat practice chemistry.

He has spent BASICALLY THE MAJORITY OF HIS LIFE studying and nobody even lets him check books out of the library because he's a ten inch tall rat. And everything is human sized and nobody respects him and you know he's just had enough which is why HE HAS ACCQUIRED A GUN. He WILL GET THE REQUIRED STUDYING MATERIALS FOR ACHIEVING IMMORTALITY (which is possible here) WHETHER HE GETS THEM NICELY OR HE HAS TO SHOOT PEOPLE. he's fucking fed up of not being listened to.

Treg is a small, fawn blaze berkshire rat with a bristle coat. Which in rat fancier speak means he's ginger on top and white underneath, with rough fur, sort of like a cream and white german shepard. He has a pink nose, ears, hands, feet and tail, with red eyes and white whiskers. The fur on his face sort of looks like a little moustache and goatee, just a bit.

He wears a white knitted jumper made of wool, brown doll's trousers (it's sort of hard to find clothes fitted for rats) some shoes which are basically just doll's shoes that have been dipped in wax underneath so he has some semblance of soles for wearing on the hard cobblestones, and a tiny little pair of round spectacles that are held in place on his face with string and clips that hold onto the ears. His eyeglasses are stained in Violant, which is a very vibrant purple-scarlet colour from underground that forces you to remember things you otherwise might forget. He wears these because a lot of things in the neath can make you Forget knowledge you might want, and he is determined not to. He also has a woolen hat he wears sometimes if he's cold.

Hello, Anon! I don’t usually reply to these kinds of asks because I’m always afraid to be disrespectful about certain matters. Still, at the same time I don’t want to be rude and ignore an ask ahahha. So, I’ll try being very dry (a bit hard🤣q), but whatever….!

I’ll first talk about the sexualities!

• Takuya: Gay

I have been headcanoning he likes dudes since I watched the second Frontier episode and my thoughts intensified with the Tomoki’s nightmare episode. During these days I’ve been reminded writers didn’t keep themselves from giving both Takouji and Takunpei ✨ fantastic moments (yes, I ship both so hard, I’m not even sorry). They tried making him straight but they failed and it never worked before my eyes.

• Kouji: Bi

I believe he developed a preference over boys during the years, after having experimented dating girls (because in the drama it does sound like both him and Kouichi are popular among girls?). Like I’ve said many times, even if nowadays I ship Takunpei harder, I like headcanoning Kouji will get a little crush on Junpei in high school and it kinda lingers even after Kouji marries Takuya, then divorces him. Yet, Junpei only sees Kouji as a friend and also a brother at a certain extent, so…

• Tomoki: Ace

I used to see him as totally gay, but I frankly struggle to see Tomoki in any relationship somehow. Like, my most random ship ever is older Tomoki x Kouichi. It’s all due to some fanfictions really making it so nice to read about. Yet, I’ve landed on the ace territory for Tomoki, making him single and focused on his politician job like I think he would absolutely be.

• Kouichi: Het

Unlike Kouji, I headcanon him to absolutely prefer women over men, though. I’m not sure if he had a wife in my head before he died. Kouichi just gives me the vibes of someone who would get a perfect life as an adult, building his future very smoothly.

• Takuya is the cool uncle being a football star and making Kou get sparkles in his eyes. Kou wants to watch every football match featuring him and can get really sad whenever the teams Takuya is in lose. Takuya makes sure to send Kou lot of football gadgets whenever he can, from t-shirts to photos too, and I actually always draw Kou’s room to be full of football stuff. Not to forget Kou also plays football at school to be like Zio Takuya.

Still, I don’t think Takuya is the cool Uncle to Ran’s fantasies too. Ran can’t stand it when people treat Junpei badly, and let’s say Takuya and Junpei never lost their tendency to have intense brawls (now using italian swearing, why not🤣). Both have got their faults in the varied occasions, but Ran will always be convinced Papà has done nothing wrong and once she will also cry and shout at Takuya to leave Papà alone.

• Passing to Kouji, Ran is actually more affectionate to him than Kou, because Kou considers Kouji “lamer than Zio Takuya” , since he’s much calmer and isn’t that sociable at a first impact. Ran, instead, really loves listening to Kouji’s tales about his travels and Kouji will take a while to get used to her bursting curiousity. In truth, Kouji won’t find getting used to the kids that easy at first, despite having been a parent in the *cough* past (my Takouji having experiences🤣). He gets flustered at the kids being so excitable, so lively, so touchy, but Junpei and Izumi adore seeing Kouji melting a bit when it comes to them.

Junpei wants Kouji to understand they all are his family loving him despite him being such a free spirit. Kouji………….Kouji eventually gets attached to his uncle role in the depth of his heart. He just knows that if someone dares to touch the kids they will be doomed. Samurai Uncle🤣💕.

• Tomoki is kinda the too caring and fussy single uncle always coming up with pep-talks, and let’s say the kids aren’t that fond of that side of his, his baby homonymous, either. When Kou moves to Japan along with Izumi and Toto, Tomoki, who still lives there, starts visiting the family more often to get to know about how school is going for Kou. Since in his politician carreer he still deals with the issue of bully in Japan, he’s aware returnees have got no easy life. So, he wants to know everything about Kou’s new school experience, any detail, sometimes also instilling doubts in both Junpei’s and Izumi’s minds, making them wonder if Kou is really feeling that comfortable about the changes in his life.

When Kou gets involved with a circle of bullies, the kid gets so scared of the idea of just running into Tomoki. He knows what a calculating intelligence Uncle has got and it wouldn’t be nice, at all, if he got spotted pulling his pranks by him.

• Kouichi………… Kouichi dies of heart attack after having overworked himself during Covid period. He doesn’t get to know any kid, but Izumi and Junpei take the children to the cemetery sometimes, often telling them about their Kouichi uncle who has died as an unsung hero.

PSA: To me…Junpei could be bi, but the fact is that he has never got t explore his sexuality because of his crush on Izumi. For sure, he attracts both men and women XDDDDD.

•To put it simply, Ran likes cute people when it comes to physical aspects. But it's not a normalized or a general/obvious aspect of cuteness. It's specifically his definition of cute, and that in itself can contain a plethora of meanings.

•Sure, they're pretty or handsome in society's sense of the word, but that little mole next to your lips or the shape of someone's nose, maybe if the person thinks that their ears are too big or if you think you have the shoulders of a linebacker, all of these are things he may find cute in a person. And it's not necessarily on everyone, it's on a specific person. It's what he deems cute, simple (or frustrating) as that.

•That being said, he cares more about the personality in the long-run of a relationship. If they're gorgeous and just want a one-night stand, fine, he can be shallow. But if he can't stand someone's personality, it ain't going anywhere. Sex is one thing, wanting to be around someone all the time is another.

•Personality-wise, he wants someone with a good sense of humor, even if it's not his type of humor. Just someone who can genuinely laugh at an obscure meme or his dumb jokes and the pranks he pulls on his brother. He also likes someone who can be a little sassy from time to time.

•Doesn't really care if they're extroverted or introverted, but would like someone that likes to go out, even if it's to grab some food and come back home to spend time together. He'd like to do something you both enjoy, it's always a happy medium where you end up giggling anyways.

•That being said, he likes to see effort. Not in appearances or duties. He wants to see effort in making a relationship work with him. Ran will give you the stars if you give him the moon, but he will give you scraps if you give him bones. He wants to feel the love that he gives being returned with the same passion.

•He also likes sweet people. Not in the naïve type of way people associate with sweet, but just sweet and kind. Someone who opens their arms for him to go into when he's having a bad day or someone who spontaneously starts peppering his face with kisses while you cuddle.

•Both him and Rin are starved for someone that wants them for them, not for what they can get out of them. Ran says he's fine with flings, but he secretly yearns for a hand full of warm love and affection to caress his cheek and melt his icy heart.

•He just wants someone he can trust and spoil and does the same to him. Which is ironic since people consider him so egotistical and shallow. That's because he doesn't trust easily enough to where people have seen him vulnerable. He has a reputation to uphold, after all.

•Like Ran, he's complex, but not to Ran's extent. He likes people who he can stand to be around, obviously, but also someone who he can trust to have not only his back, but Ran's also. It can seem difficult to get his interest, but the best you can do is be yourself.

•As for physical, he doesn't mind since he can admit someone is good looking without feeling attracted to them, but he has noticed that tall people pique his interest... albeit he won't admit to it.

•Surprisingly, likes foreigners more than locals, especially Lantinx and Hispanic people. Ran teases him saying that he just wants to be nurtured and spoiled. And while that is true, he knows it's stupid to believe that only one specific group of people can be that way.

•Being short or part of another ethnic group isn't a deal breaker for him since there are a lot more factors that come into play to Rindou liking someone. Those small preferences aside, he likes people who are both lively and cozy in their own way, someone who can make his apartment feel like a home when he gets back from a tough day.

•As stated before, he wants someone trustworthy. It takes a lot of effort to make Ran trust you, it's even more so with Rindou. Though once he trusts you, it's a whole different side that you get to see. The playful, surprisingly clingy side he lets out in private.

•He wants someone that he doesn't have to prove anything to. Someone who doesn't expect him to live up to his brother, someone who doesn't belittle him because everyone else thinks he's just the useless little brother, someone who just sees what he brings to a relationship and as a person.

•Ironically, it's something that he won't admit, but once in a while he thinks about having someone who puts him in his place and takes the reigns, and it flusters him. Rindou is a switch and letting someone see his bratty side takes a lot of trust.

•Both of them just need some genuine care, honestly. It's been just the two of them all their lives and a little change would be nice, especially if the three of you end up being super tight.

•This isn't news, but he wants someone who gets along with Ran. It's not negotiable for either of them and he's not picking sides. It's one of the only things he's not flexible with.

•He's not against someone being a little jealous and possessive as long as they're not controlling and blowing out of proportion. He likes to feel chased and appreciated, not get harrassed and yelled at about why he came home at 4 am when being an executive fucks up his schedule. He trusts you 100% and expects the same.

Both of these men are loyal and you don't have to worry about other people (aside from the ones that want to off them) if you're in a serious relationship.

Now, first off, considering the crazy things Maria has had to deal with in her time at SHIELD, your coming out to her as Asexual is not a big deal.

Well, it’s a big deal to her in that you obviously feel comfortable enough around her to tell her something so personal.

That’s huge and makes her heart go all fluttery.

But a big deal that causes her to have a melt down and possibly an hour of shooting things? This is not that kind.

After all, alien invaders? Big deal. Dancing, sentient, alien trees? Big deal. Fury without coffee before a meeting with the Avengers? Big deal.

They’re all things Maria doesn’t immediately know how to handle, but you? Your relationship? Nothing in her eyes has changed.

She loves you. She respects you. She understands you.

This is just another part of who you are, and that means Maria accepts it with a mere nod, hum, and possibly a couple quick questions for clarification.

As she teases, she’s an agent and works best with as much intelligence as possible. Or as much as you’re willing to share.

And anything else? Well, she’s happy to do some of her own intelligence gathering too if it will make you feel comfortable and happy.

Apparently SHIELD has some weird databases that she can find her way into …

Why? Well, because you make her feel those things. Happy. Comfortable. Safe.

That’s why she loves you so much.

You also put up with her crazy schedules with barely a moan, which makes you a saint.

You’re also the first to nag her to remember to pack a toothbrush and sunscreen whenever she has to rush off somewhere for a mission.

“But it’s Siberia?”

“There’s sun in Siberia, dumb ass. Snow reflects it more intensely - You’ll still burn if you’re not careful!”

“I’m always careful!”

“Says the idiot who almost walked into a door this morning!”

Maria refrains from pointing out you’d distracted her and almost caused said incident, but anyway…

Once you’ve also told her, she then follows it up with a reassurance that she’ll love you no matter what, and definitely no matter what level of physical intimacy you’re comfortable with.

If holding hands is your limit, that’s cool. If you like cuddling, kissing, or maybe other activities then she can accommodate that too.

To be honest, Maria herself is not the most affectionate of people. Not in public anyway. So, she gets it. Boundaries are important.

(Most people at work don’t even think they’ve seen her smile… there’s just some rumours amongst the more senior agents that it’s even possible)

That makes you very giddy, knowing you’re the only one to see her like that at all.

Even then, when it’s the two of you she seems more keen on holding hands or pressing kisses against your head or cheek, than trying to undress you.

It might take a bit of communication and adjustment but at the end of the day you’re both willing to put the effort in.

Maria would also be quick to shut down any comments or jokes by the others that made you uncomfortable (mostly from Tony, but that’s just his nature. He’s not trying to be mean - 90% of his jokes are somehow sexual)

Your relationship is private and she’ll keep it that way.

But if you are comfortable telling people? Then hell, she’ll support that too.

She’ll also threaten to shoot anyone who even thinks about making comments about asexuality not being a thing.

“It’s LGBTQIA+, asshole. Yeah. That’s right. A for Asexual, not assholes like you.”

Long story short, you coming out is probably one of the best things to happen to your relationship - but getting to see Maria wearing an Asexual pride flag at Pride is just a very good benefit.

Feathers Reacts: Motorcity - Episode 15 (16) - Julie and the Amazons

There are days where I think to myself, "I'm probably somewhere on the aro/ace spectrum, but I guess there's no need to label myself, though in the past I've identified as bi - and what even is attraction anyways??" blah blah blah.

And then there are days where I melt into a puddle over a cartoon lady with a smoky voice. Send help.

Episode 15 (16) Thoughts

Welp, somebody is trying to start a gang war! We've got the Duke, the Skylarks, and the Weekend Warriors at the very least. The Skylarks seem reasonable, so I bet they could be convinced of the Burners' innocence. I have no idea about the Weekend Warriors, and the Duke is utterly unpredictable.

Julie is facing down the real challenge - merging your friend groups.

Julie, about Claire: She already feels like she doesn't fit in around here. I want her to feel included. Texas: Whaddya think I was trying to do, LISA?? Yeah, that checks out. I'm afraid Texas's idea of fun is incompatible with Claire's. To be fair, it's incompatible with most people's idea of fun 80% of the time.

Out of curiosity I googled selenium sulfate, and while that compound does not appear to exist, selenium sulfide is used in shampoos as a funngicide apparently? And PubChem says there's no flash point data, but it's probably combustible.

Infiltration! Wahoo! Julie would normally be aces at this if she wasn't emotionally compromised by Claire possibly liking Foxy better than her. :)

Texas without the baseball cap and in a suit actually looks pretty undercover to me! So long as he doesn't open his mouth . . .

Okay, Texas nearly had me crying tears of laughter as he yelled every word of Chuck's panicked instructions into the face of that freaked out Skylark. XD

Weekend Warrior Texas is too close to normal Texas to be a good disguise, I think.

Claire is crushing hard on Foxy. (same?? I think??)

Claire: Why should I believe you??? You lie to people every day! Oh jeez, straight to the heart (ㅠ﹏ㅠ)

Claire: You didn't used to dress like that or talk about cars! Then you met Mike and . . . everything changed. SUBTEXT ALERT SUBTEXT ALERT SUBTEXT ALERT

And it was the Duke who framed the Burners all along! I should have known.

It's purely because the Duke felt jealous of the attention the Burners were getting?? He's a cat, essentially.

Mike just chased the Duke up the stairs, and upon reaching his throne the Duke sat down and tried to act like nothing was wrong. Have I mentioned that I love the Duke?

"Private Rat Trap" is probably not the alter-ego that Texas hoped he'd end up with.

Well, well, well. Claire was able to convince Foxy to help. But at the end of the day, Claire is riding home with Julie. :)

Concluding Thoughts:

Listen. Listen. It's not Foxy's character design. It's her voice, and the things she says with it. I feel like one of those Ghibli characters whose lineart suddenly has short wavelength impulses running along the perimeter of their body. Gah.

ANYWAYS I'm glad Julie and Claire made up. But Julie, dear, I think your attempts to merge your friend group are at least 50% doomed - Claire is a very different person from Texas, with almost no overlapping interests, and Chuck is currently incapable of functioning like a normal human being around her and that probably makes her uncomfortable. On the other hand, Mike is one of the friendliest people on the planet, so at least there's that.

Speaking of Chuck and his crush on Claire: 1. Much as I love you, buddy, learn to take a hint. 2. See step one. 3. Please watch Claire interact with Julie for five minutes, and I think some things will be clarified.
