Private 3D model studios have been giving me life recently… This is by Digivice Studios from this December and makes me scream too loudly.

Partners for the Digimon Frontier Digidestined

In Episode 47, the Digidestined land on the Yellow Moon, courtesy to an attack from the freed Lucemon. There they meet the Baby Digimon and Digimon Eggs they had previously encountered, which had been under Swanmon's protection. And each of the Digidestined picks up a newly hatched Digimon, holding them in their arms. One day, I had the idea of making a list. Based on the Digimon they each picked up, what would each Digidestined's partner be if they had partners instead of Spirits?

I went according to what each Digimon would evolve in according to Wikimon, which contains all kinda official evolutions throughout all the different media (be it Pendulums, games, or whatever). At the same time, I tried to stick to each kid's theme where possible, like electricity for JP and wind for Zoe. Only ones that were impossible were Takuya and Tommy, since none of the Digimon they picked up had anything with ice or fire in their evolution trees.

Also, the Digivices would be the D3 from Adventure 02, cause I like the idea that these partners would also be able to Armor Digivolve - into armor Digimon we didn't see in anime yet as well (or at least not with the 02 kid's Digimon. We got Sagittarimon appearing shortly twice, but I'd loved to see Veemon actually evolve with the Digimental of Hope in an anime).

Chibomon - Demiveemon - Veemon - Veedramon - Aero-Veedramon - UlforceVeedramon

It would have been quite tempting to put the evolution line of Davis's Veemon. However, Paildramon and Imperialdramon are Jogress Evolutions, and we don't know what Exveemon would evolve into without Stingmon. Luckily, we have a very cool alternative option in the line of Tai's (probably) Veemon from the V-Tamer manga. So I went with that. Speaking of Tai - it's interesting that they gave him Chibomon and not Botamon/Koromon. The Agumon line would have kept the fire theme. But honestly... I would love to see the Veedramon line in anime one day. Or why not animate V-Tamer?

Digivice color: Light blue

Poyomon - Tokomon - Patamon - Angemon - MagnaAngemon - Goddramon

What can I say, with him getting a Tokomon...? Of course I had to pick the Angemon line. I only switched up the Mega level, picking Goddramon instead of Seraphimon. For... multiple, sometimes obvious reasons.

Digivice color: Dark purple

Poyomon - Tokomon - Tukaimon - BlackGatomon - LadyDevimon - Mastemon

Oooff... my favourite Frontier kid, and he was the hardest to do. I wanted to keep a dark aestetic, since he does have the Spirits of Darkness. And I wanted to do like a dark counterpart to Koji. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of dark colored angel or angel-like Digimon that aren't evil. I think there are even none of those. That's why I was reluctant to pick LadyDevimon, since she usually is an antagonist when she appears in the anime. Isn't the only good LadyDevimon the one from Cyber Sleuth? But I think this is the list I feel most content with from all the option that I checked out. And Mastemon is pretty cool-looking. n.n I also could have gone with a cat aestetic, since, well, AncientSphinxmon, Löwemon and KaiserLeomon, but that worked out pretty badly as well.

Zoe

Digivice color: Pink

Poromon - Hawkmon - Aquilamon - Sylphimon - Valkyriemon

Thank god they gave her Poromon. This made her list pretty easy. I mean, as holder of the Spirit of Winds, what better for her than a bird Digimon? Unfortunately we don't have a proper Ultra Level for Aquilamon, so I had to pick the Jogress Evolution Sylphimon. But I am not sad; it visually fits quite well with Aquilamon, and is also a perfect segway into Valkyriemon.

Another veery easy pick. Tentomon line. Elektric bug. Need I say more? I only switched Izzy's red Alturkabuterimon its blue variant to pay tribute to the blue in Beetlemon's color pallet.

Upamon - Armadillomon - Ankylomon - Shakkoumon - SlashAngemon

No ice for Tommy-boy here. However, I think he'd be very cute with Armadillomon, especially if it were anything like Cody's Armadillmon from 02. Here, I too had to pick the Jogress Evolution Shakkoumon for Ultra Level. But with SlashAngemon as Mega, I don't mind, since Shakkoumon serves as a good segway from earth to steel (and angel).

This post contains manga spoilers. In this article I would like to explain why I prefer Sohara Mitsuki over Ikaros as a couple partner for Tomoki Sakurai. I'm going to talk about the manga Heavens lost Property (Sora no Otoshimono aka Angeloid. If you don't want to be spoiled, you shouldn't read this article. And you're welcome to have a different opinion about shipping, but please express it in a friendly manner and respectfully. Thank you very much. ~*~ Argumentatively, the first thing that comes to the fore is the relationship between Tomoki and Sohara. The two have been friends since childhood. As a child, Sohara was very seriously ill. Ultimately she died of this and woke up as Daedalus in the synapse.

It was really emotional, because little Tomoki cried for her and is holding her doll, who has a ponytail now. In order not to be forgotten by Tomoki and to be able to be with him at least indirectly, Dädalus created a replica of herself. She was also the one who sent Ikaros to Tomoki. Hoping he would take care of her. Sohara very clearly has feelings for Tomoki, even when she was a child. But she never dared to confess this to him. When she did, however, he was distracted with some breasts. There were many situations in the anime and manga where both would blush because of the other depending on the situation. But what really caught me were Tomoki's parents. Tomoyo, the mother, is very similar in appearance and personality to her son. Tsutsumi, Tomoki's father, on the other hand, is quite similar to Sohara in appearance and personality. Both Sohara and Tsutsumi use a karate chop.

But the strongest argument in favor of Sohara as Tomoki's future wife is the conversation with her father. In this he tells her sutilly that she doesn't need to worry about her love rivals. Tomoki would choose her.

I view the relationship between Tomoki and Ikaros less romantic. It is noticeable that Ikaros is the only female person who is not groped by Tomoki. Apart from Mikako, who would certainly have killed him for that. So I'm assuming he has no sexual interest. In the manga, the Angeloids are seen as chibis along with the names Tomoki gave them. Ikaros was named as a pet. And that's the feeling I get, when I look at her relationship with Tomoki. Throughout the series, Tomoki takes care of Ikaros, as if she were a child who still needs to learn to walk. Ikaros's alienation from the world and her inability to show emotions such as joy contribute to this image of the relationship., When a female person kisses Tomoki, he barely reacts. Neither with Hiyori nor with Ikaros. And Ikaros kissed him twice. An exception would be the scene in which all love rivals are dressed as brides and he has to choose one. However, this scene seems to be filler, because I didn't see it in the manga. In "Eternal my Master", it was not Ikaros who was on a date with Tomoki, but a copy of her, who is called Ikaros Melan.

When Ikaros confesses her love to him, he doesn't react and calls her an idiot. Even if certain wikis claim otherwise. Even after everyone was alive again and the world was restored, Tomoki did not comment on Ikaros's confession of love. I don't remember which chapter it was, but Tomoki mentioned that he would have liked to marry all the women. So Ikaros as well as Sohara and the other Angeloids. ~*~ Personally, I find Tomoki's relationship with Sohara more equal and natural than the one with Ikaros. Especially since Tomoki's parents see that they could work really well as a couple.

Trio, web comic original by a thick boy enjoyer and surprisingly big fan of various western cartoons like Steven Universe and other CN ones.

Kotobuki529 has been refining this concept for over a decade and in 2022 started releasing it complete with own English translations.

Trio is a light romantic comedy following Tsutomu Saotome, Tomoki, and Takuo as go through school. Tsutomo is big and tall but a bit dense and socially awkward. Tomoki (as often the case it seems to have that name is to be condemned to wuss) is smaller more timid boy with a tendency to be drawn along. Takuo is the weird friend.(see below) And the hook is Tsutomu is a clueless harem protagonist in center of a love polygon including a young redhead Misaki. Meanwhile being young teenagers they are awkward, silly, unsure, and /or crude. Also while attempting some things

A big driver is Tomoki's crush on Tsutomu and how each boy met. While Tsutomu seems to attempt to find himself. A lot of simple episodic encounters building a sense of character and interests. Each boy shows their skills, interests, or anxiety. Well 2 of them and Misaki , Takuo is too cool to be human like that...or sn actual alien. Its gard to explain.

Now this is a romantic comedy from Japanese person to a general older than elementary school audience regularly getting boosts from noted gay manga artists. But the adult content for a year now nothing worse than usually strategically blocked nudity in situations of unexpected exposure. And that barely happens.

It's recently had enthusiasts release Spanish and French redubs retweeted by the author.

The fact that I don’t drink, smoke also means I rarely thought about hcs for the Frontier kids as adults on this topic.

I like imagining Junpei develops a liking on limoncello and maybe drinks some wine. Has also got some cigars hidden somewhere and Takuya often joins. So basically ‪there is the tenor who smokes once or twice a year , the football player who smokes along with him whenever he comes over, on some hammock or deckchair, in the garden.

Takuya does give me the impression he would like drinking beer ? Football players in italian teams are surprisingly drunkards. After victories he would get loose along with his team and probably post embarrassing photos Izumi will scold him about with a call in the early morning (get that, Takuya). Junpei would just say, ���Che cazzo. What the fuck is Takuya doing?” And show Izumi who will get pale and shocked.

Our older googlehead also has to deal with Kouji who will come from his trips with new stuff to try. Special liquors, alcoholic beverages from all over the world and , of course, Kouji would try narghilè. He is opened to anything and hates how skeptical Takuya will act whenever he proposes different nights.

Tomoki used to be the purest, but when he becomes a politician he doesn’t only gain weight but also starts drinking at important dinners.

Izumi gets drunk once and when she does everyone is actually amused. She spends her whole teenage years refusing drinks during nights with friends. Her parents estabilished rules, she absorbed those steel rules like a sponge and she is very straightforward in her no. Still, maybe she will get drunk when she gets to win some important cooking contest and everyone finds her on the floor with a glass of strawberry vodka in her hands. Maybe she doesn’t even drink a lot. She is just not holding her liquor AT ALL. Probably there is a second time during her wedding but everyone is drunk, so who remembers about what happened ?

This means Kouichi is the only one who will keep his discipline as the good doctor he is and just will start refusing getting to hear about Kouji’s adventures for the sake of his heart health.
