It was a very quiet one, so Leon thought it was in his head. He turned on the bed and closed his eyes again, ready to go back to sleep. He just came back from another suicidal mission, and his warm bed was more than welcomed.

Another sigh.This one was more sure, so he turned as saw his wife huffing, turning to try to fit her round belly into the bed, looking quite frustrated. Soon, he got behind her and hugged her, putting his head on her shoulders, pressing a kiss to her neck.

“What's going on, love?”

“I'm sorry, didn't want to wake you up, lovey. Daisy just decided to have a rave in me, so it's quite hard to just go to sleep to constant kicking”

He chuckled at that, smiling warmly at her grown belly. She felt her husband caressing her belly, still looking lovingly at her bump the same way he did when he found she was pregnant.

“Hm, I know what they need. They need their daddy to talk to them”

Smiling, Leon helped her to sit a little, as he got on the same level as her bump. He put one hand right on it, pressing a kiss to her skin and whispering quite close.

“Hi, bean. It's daddy. Mommy told me you are fighting your own battles inside her. I'm proud of you” he chuckled, earning a playful slap on his back.

Looking at her to wait and not interrupt (still quite playful), he laid on her bump once more and kept talking to their child, feeling his kicks on his palm.

“Baby, I know it's nice inside mommy - I can tell - but our lady needs her sleep. We are so excited to see you, but you still need some cooking. Until you're done, you need to be careful with our lovely mommy” he said looking up and smiling now

“I know you love her just as much as I do, so we need to take care of her. Need your help with that, little bean. You need to sleep too, baby. Let our lovey keep cooking you till you are big and ready”

Even if it was bothersome at first, she looked down at her man talking to their daughter and her heart grew in size. Moments like this made her celebrate that she chose the right man to have kids with. Everyone that saw the ruthless agent didn't imagine the loving dad and husband he was.

I caressed his hair as he talked some more to our little sunshine, my heart completely filled with love. As the moments passed, she realized that the bun stopped moving, probably going to sleep. He looked up at her quite proud, smirking.

“See? Just like you, they need their daddy”

She slapped him once more at the provocative comment, giggling.

“Don't say that in front of her! What if she hears?”

“She is sound asleep, her loving dad made sure of that. And if she did, she would know that her parents love each other very much”

She knew that the tone was light, but she couldn't help but wonder about his comment. Earning him a soft smile, she let the man cuddle her, whispering.

“Yeah, her parents are very much in love.”

so, basically, commander wake's name is actually a couple quotes and lyrics to eminem's song from 8 mile

her name isn't amanda, it's just awake, etc.

I'd take amanda over eminem but ok

they said they are words that date back thousands of years, so we're in the future

I considered this, but not due to book reasons, just because one time I was talking to @lady-harrowhark about one time a barbie of mine was stolen when I was a kid and it somehow related to tlt, this was A Long Time Ago but I thought "what, are the books in the future?"

I have no idea if my hollywood hair barbie had anything to do with the books directly or if it was just some fandom thing @lady-harrowhark knows and I don't, but that planted the idea in my head

if it's a spoiler, don't tell me

but I didn't pick up any clues from the book until eminem

emperor's last name is gaius, which I knew from an untagged non context dashboard post

doctor reverend emperor john gaius wants to know what commander wake was doing in the ninth, because she landed there on purpose

and also is impressed that she's been a revenant for nearly 20 years and doesn't know how she got there

I think it's the sword

so, in come augustine and mercygirl

because now we're having a party

dr reverend emperor john says "Am I in trouble?" because he's the most punchable asshole in the known universe

and introduces commander wake with an evanescence quote rather than an eminem quote

yes, ok, I much prefer that, thank you

thank you, Fallen by Evanescence (2003) you changed my life

so, turns out that commander wake was in cahoots with these two lyctors

but things turned south and gideon the first was sent to kill her

she went to the ninth to break into the tomb

it always comes down to the tomb

ice cube barbie is very popular

so, I was right when I said that gideon wasn't conceived Traditionally

the eggs were my clue on that bit, the eggs on the notes

they were supposed to 1) use dr reverend emperor john's genes to 2) create a baby with his blood to 3) break the blood ward to 4) open the tomb

but the eggs didn't work, so commander wake decided to birth gideon herself

when I said gideon was a demigod and used hercules memes and when I compared her to superman or whatever

I was more correct than I thought

commander wake called gideon "bomb"

because we didn't have enough lyctors at this party, in comes gideon the first

from battling the beast, which is what everyone was supposed to be doing, btw, just putting that out there

gideon the first will receive a lot of very clever, funny and amazing nicknames by gideon that I can't even remotely compete with

I vow to you and your prowess for nicknames, queen

gideon the first comes in, removes gideon's glasses from harrow's body, and slides them on his face

gideon starts remembering childhood things like suffering and fighting with harrow and telling harrow that maybe she is the daughter of someone important and they don't know it

"You remember how the fuck-off great aunts always used to say, suffer and learn? If they were right, Nonagesimus, how much more can we take until you and me achieve omniscience?"

man, this is rough

so, the thing about the eyes

gideon apparently has AL's eyes

whose name isn't only Annabel Lee

it's also Alecto

the alecto everyone keeps mentioning in the fandom

so, this explains why seeing gideon's eyes was like seeing a ghost to these lyctors

also why ice cube barbie had gideon's eyes

THERE ARE A LOT OF THREADS GOING ON IN THIS BOARD

GIDEON IS CONNECTED TO A LOT OF PEOPLE

NONE OF THEM GOOD

the lyctors bring back what teacher said in canaan au, about them asking dr reverend emperor john to kill AL aka Annabel Lee aka Alecto aka ice cube barbie

apparently all of them (except for gideon the first) hated her and were low key scared of her and high key scared of what might happen with her around

they think the beasts are coming partly because of her

and whatever dr reverend emperor john did to resurrect her

the emperor says he didn't kill her, he "switched her off"

not successfully, because she's been sort of roaming around

mercygirl and augustine say that everything about this is very sus because what if he didn't kill AL??? and what is going on with the origin of his power???

dr reverend emperor john goes "you both do tend to go overboard on the foreplay"

mercygirl and augustine figured out that harrow's true cavalier had AL's eyes

but it was impossible for a baby to be born with AL's genes

however, it was very probable that a baby had been born in the ninth with the emperor's genes

because they had been planning on that to happen

albeit in a different way, without the human intervention

so, if gideon has AL's eyes but the emperor's genes

it means AL's eyes aren't hers and the emperor's aren't his

the emperor's weird eyes are AL's and gideon's eyes are the emperor's

because.......

he achieved lyctorhood without having to slurp his cavalier aka AL

I'm very interested in this potential situation if we get gideon alive again

but everyone else is pissed off because they had to slurp their cavaliers unnecessarily

yandere twin also decides to join the chat after this

and, apparently, anastasia had figured it out too

the ninth necro who everyone said was the one who couldn't become a lyctor

the one with a room unused

until harrow

the emperor's version of events is that things went off the rails in the process and he had to kill them both

augustine tells dr reverend emperor john to just stop already with his plan of destroying everything

and the emperor says that the man before his resurrection would have hated him to say that

mercygirl then goes "I'll forgive you if you tell me you didn't mean to kill my cav"

and the emperor goes "yes, I'll do whatever"

so he hugs mercygirl

and mercygirl

gideon says she's an orphan again while I'm giving everyone a party hat and a piece of celebratory cake

aang being a bad parent is CHARACTER ASSASSINATION and i won't stand for it. i just know that him and katara wouldn't be focused on just passing on bending, but the *teachings* and ideals of both of their tribes to all their children, regardless of bending status.

OR, aang and katara become parents and aang finds out that parenting is his proudest achievement, more so than stopping a hundred year war or holding the position of avatar

Of all the battles he had fought as the Avatar, all the struggles through which he had prevailed, Aang thought that perhaps parenthood was his life’s true proudest achievement. He’d known from the moment Katara had found out that they’d be parents that she’d be a wonderful mother, but he’d be lying if he said that he had been entirely confident in his own abilities.

Despite the many hats he had to wear for work, he always made a point of coming home to Katara as much as he possibly could. What was being the Avatar for, if not to use his abilities to race home to the love of his life?

Their third child, Tenzin, had immediately been identified as an airbender by Aang. He told Katara that he could just feel it, he could see it in the way his son moved through the air , waving his hands as if the oxygen itself was a tangible thing he could touch. As Bumi grew up, it was clear that he would be much more calm and stern than his two rambunctious siblings, perhaps in an unconscious attempt to balance them out.

Aang taught him the airbending traditions the same way he continued to teach Tenzin’s siblings-  he brought the three, along with Katara when she could take a break from work, to the air temples to aid in their restoration. He taught Tenzin the airbending forms, but he taught him in a group, with his other two siblings. For Kya, the airbending forms were applicable to her own waterbending, and for Bumi, they were a way for him to better understand the flow of chi through the body and calm his energetic nature.

“Do you think they’re going to turn out alright?” Katara asked, and both pride and nervousness were present in her tone. “Are we doing a good job?”

Aang smiled softly at her, wrapping his arm around her smaller frame. “For a couple with only one parent between the two of us, I think we’re doing alright.”

Katara’s only response was a laugh and a splash of water to his face from the water she carried at her hip. She carefully bent it back into the bottle.

“They’re doing wonderfully.” Aang looked into the courtyard, where Kya and Bumi were locked in the mud, Kya bending mud-balls and Bumi throwing them back at her, while Tenzin tried in vain to get between them. “We have beautiful kids, Katara. Beautiful souls, too. The air nomad culture will live through them. It doesn’t matter if just Tenzin is an airbender- what the nomads would have wanted to be passed on is their way of life .”

short answer: their relationship is a complicated nightmare at best, and it changes a ton over time. they meet in weird circumstances, things stay weird for a long time, & they end up "together." what that means, i have no idea, bc i think they would die before they talked about it or said they were Actually Dating

long answer: they meet when twitch rescues a very nearly dead grace from the arctic. twitch thinks this poor guy looks very haunted, which is apparently interesting enough for them to reroute the entire ship so they have an extra couple months to hound him for secrets.

upon getting back to london, they want nothing more to do with eachother: twitch got all the secrets they could, grace wants to get far away from this weirdo, preferably as soon as possible, thanks

so they part ways, for a while. grace starts working with the constables (he thinks he can help people there. poor guy) they keep giving him the unwanted jobs: drag bodies back home, sort the paperwork, stand guard outside the cells because this new inmate is chatty and it's annoying everybody else and-oh, it's twitch. of course it is.

they get talking, since there's nothing else to do, and twitch is Very Persistent. they strike a deal: grace can use his connections to get twitch on the good side of the legal records, and in return, twitch will give him free zee trips when he needs it. twitch thinks this will be basically never, since grace has nothing going on, right? so they got the better end of this deal for sure-what do you mean he's on an unhinged revenge mission to murder a fucking master of the bazaar? oh, they have got to see this.

grace is too reluctant to zail himself, has no other contacts & doesn't know anything about the neath. twitch is his only real, consistent source, and they want to see & know everything about how it's going-- this is like the most interesting story in the world to them! so they're spending a lot of time together. a weird amount of time together, really, for two people who don't spend lots of time around any one person in particular.

and it's...kind of fun? sure, twitch is very unreliable, their weirdness is still offputting to grace, sometimes-- but less than it used to be. they're nicer than he gave them credit for, smarter, and their enthusiasm is infectious. and grace is very helpful, it turns out, and it's nice to have company in the captain's cabin, and making him smile instead of looking miserable all the time starts to feel kind of like an accomplishment, and- oh, no.

they both react to their feelings about as well as you would expect: ignore them! or in twitch's case, ask the ship's surgeon to surgically remove them (and get refused. cruel.) they both deny their feelings for a long time. it could never work anyway, right? they're far too different.

except, not really. grace later finishes nemesis, and after parting (somwhat bitterly) with twitch & a brief stint at the grand geode, he realises maybe the laws here fucking suck, actually--maybe he doesn't need to uphold them to help people. lucky for him, twitch has a hell of a rivalry with the admiralty & it's only a matter of time before they cross paths again. he deserts the admiralty in the midst of a naval battle, onto twitch's ship.

til i give either of them an ending, they stay together from that point--at least, as much as they want to. old habits die hard--twitch still likes zailing off to do weird shit, twitch is still a criminal, grace is very much not (more of a vigilante, i guess.) they still can't talk about what they are, they still clash sometimes. but they make it work! captain & (honorary) first mate.

(& twitch's crew breathe a sigh of relief. bc they've been waiting for their emotional brick wall of a captain to semi admit it for at least a year)

Summary: You and Wrecker have a little battle of attrition when it comes to affections.

You and Wrecker have always been irrevocably infatuated with each other. It's often to the misery of everyone within your vicinity, given it's a near constant. There's never a moment you're not side by side holding hands, sitting in his lap, or he's holding you in his arms.

Especially for Wrecker- his love language, the way he shows 'hey! I'm still in love with you!' is to smother you in for a lack of a better word, himself.

A kiss on the cheek, top of the head; His hand on your shoulder or waist.

And so you'd made a mistake by joking just once, only once telling him he was smothering you as he laid over your body, arms on either shoulder and chin on your head. You were in the middle of working on something, and even though it might've impeded your work a bit, you weren't genuinely complaining. He, in part playing with your joke retracted all of his affections, and has given you none since. And once he started, you had as well.

It's now become a battle of attrition, on who will give in and kiss the other first.

His brothers- while they know it's all a joke- have found it off-putting, as despite their complaints throughout your relationship it's still unusual for the two of you to not be sitting in the same seat, resting in his lap while his arms wrap tightly around your waist.

But as time has gone on it's been less about holding back affection, and more how long can you tease each other until one gives him and asks, or simply takes. If you'd told this to an outside party they might've thought it's been a few weeks, a terrible marathon being denied the affections of your lover but...

It's been like four days.

Most of the time it's been you two brushing arms, or you bending over in clear view to grab something. Wrecker shows off feats of strength or almost knocks you over and saves you by your waist, before quickly distancing himself.

They've been getting more overt, but so far, the both of you have been holding strong.

Much to the chagrin of the rest of the Marauder's inhabitants, who just want this whole song and dance to be over with. But thankfully those spoilsports are gone at the moment, leaving you to the ship's refresher to clean up, and indulge in a little bit of rare privacy.

Wiping the water off your face you glance in the mirror for only a moment, before turning away. You'd gotten a decent bit of sleep these past couple of days, so you can see more perk in your face, compared to the days where sleep was a much rarer resource.

Finished cleaning up, you gently hit the button to open the door with your palm, going to step out but suddenly being stopped by an oddly tan wall. Not the grey metal of the Marauder, but something much closer to, Wrecker.

Looking up reaffirms that suspicion, and...

Oh fuck, he's shirtless.

He stands directly in the doorway of the refresher, blocking it almost entirely. You can see the various tattoos smattering his chest, before your eyes start wandering downward, seeing where his pants ride low enough to see the V of his hips and the trail of hair leading even farther down below the waistband of his clothes.

You instantly glance upward, before you become completely distracted by the thought of what rests at the end of that crumb trail.

This isn't even fair; The two of you have been just playing around, there was no reason for Wrecker to just suddenly hit you with a fucking nuke.

You can't give in this easily. You have to hold strong, if even just long enough to remove yourself from this situation before just throwing yourself at him an hour later, when you've completely soaked a fresh pair of panties.

"Please move." You try to hide the strain in your voice, watching him roll his shoulders. The way the cords of his neck move, the muscles of his shoulders and collarbone stretch and move; It's absolutely kriffing, karking, fucking criminal.

"Nah," Wrecker responds. Clenching your fists, you lick your lips and hiss at him.

"Come on Wrecker! I'm done playing this game!" He shakes his head, looking down at you.

"Oh you're done, but I'm not! You're gonna regret starting this." He leans against the frame of the door, his hips cocking out to one side. You can't help but glance down at his stomach again, before seeing how the fabric of his pants lays against his body.

Gods, the things you want to do to him are unspeakable.

Fuck it; This whole game has gone on long enough. You made one silly joke, and you aren't going to spend another night thinking about sucking him off or sitting in his lap instead of just doing it.

Stepping closer you attempt to reach for his shoulders and pull his head down to you, but it doesn't work, and you almost end up hanging on him. Wrecker still stays leaning against the doorframe, unaffected.

"Come on," He shakes his head.

As much as you want to, Wrecker's head is in the clouds, and far out of reach. He knows as much, and has an evil, crooked smirk at the thought. Irritated, you point at the ground.

"Kneel."

Your face holds firm for all about five seconds. "Please? So I can give you a kiss? I miss it... I don't wanna play this game anymore." He might've been able to resist you if you hadn't cracked like that and said please, looking up at him with those cute eyes and pursed lips.

He quickly falls to one knee, enough so that you can lean in and cup his jaw, kissing him right on the lips. You can feel his large hands gripping your waist, pulling you even closer to him.

Though is wasn't as if he was going to stay put for long, as he soon pulls away from you and grips your waist harder, quickly pulling you off the ground. Now that you've both decided you're done with this stupid little fight, there's some catching up to do.

"Wrecker!"

Not fond of the way your feet no longer touch the ground you attempt to free yourself from his grip, but it only ends up with you over his shoulder. You smack his bare shoulder, eyes widening as you feel his hand holding you on the back of your thigh, just at the crease of your bottom.

"Quit wigglin'!" he jokes, as if he'd ever let you fall. But as you've been resigned to luggage you quit squirming, trying not to laugh as Wrecker hauls you out of the Marauder and off to somewhere more comfortable and with a bit more privacy.

[pictures: There seems to be several pictures of a few places around Paldea. The first of which, perhaps surprisingly, being the flower field near the former Ruchbah Base, where several of Carmine's Pokemon are playing in the fields. Amarys can be seen in the background, training at the center, and there's a few pictures taken of her battles there. She commands her Pokemon easily even against the onslaught of Fairy types, and if the images are anything to go by, she seems to have secured a victory against Ortega. Though it seems like Linux has learned a new move...?

Anyway, the second set of photos seem to be in Uva Academy; there's at least one picture of Ren checking in with Director Clavell, seeming to speak excitedly about recent times while the older man listens. There's a picture of Amarys speaking with him and another teacher, Jacq, and they appear to be discussing intriguing topics, given the interest on each party's face. There is one where they all stare at the camera, though!

The next to last set of photos appears to be taken in a restaurant in Medali; all three of them have ordered delicious food, and the images all range from general chatter to beautiful food shots. It's clearly a lovely time shared by all.

...And then there's a couple back at Ren's house; Amarys holding what appears to be a photo album in her hands, and she looks through each photograph dutifully. There even seems to be a blank album next to her; something to fill with her own memories. And...there's a picture of Carmine looking through her own photo album with Ren, and no, she's definitely not tearing up a bit--]

Paldea's even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I'll admit it! My expectations were met and then some, and Ren took us to some of the most delightful places. I really can't thank them enough for showing us around!

I'm taking Ren clothing shopping tomorrow morning, and tomorrow evening, our flight back to BBA goes out. It's almost surreal, but I can't wait to get back to learning; there's a lot of things I want to do now, and I've got all of the time and energy in the world now to tackle them head-on.

Though, I am going to kick Ren's rear end in for managing to surprise me! We'd been working on a surprise for my darling since we first went off to Kitakami, and I wanted to do something nice for our six month anniversary--see those photo albums? One of Ren's friend's grandma, she makes these beautiful handmade photo albums with the help of her Spidops, and they're a sight to behold! Along with the memories inside. But this brat! They went and made one for us and our adventures! There were photos I never expected to see ever again in there, and...ugh! My heart can't take it! Badabing, a member of the Nanarito family, grew up privileged in Ul'dah. This upbringing in a wealthy environment contributed significantly to fostering a strong sense of entitlement in his youth. He indulged in taking whatever he desired and acted without restraint. Those who dared to oppose him found themselves swiftly and decisively dealt with. Following his father's death under mysterious circumstances, which were connected to his uncle Lolorito, his perception of himself and his way of life began to change.

Following the calamity, Badabing founded NBM, an organisation that funds various projects and covertly assists those in need. Badabing is always battling to keep the organisation one step ahead of his uncle and to preserve his gruff persona so that he does not get too caught up in Ul'dah's shady business dealings. The main operation of NBM is their deli, which provides a variety of lunch and snack options, located in the Goblet residential zone. Originally planned for the NBM hideaway, Badabing's culinary adventures grew as he travelled to other places, ultimately inspiring him to pursue his love of cooking. Badabing often tries out different lunch ideas or makes easy meals for travellers on the road with his limited spare time. My sweet, good Elezen gal

Barm was born in Ishgard, but was soon taken in by her aunt Eliviane in Gridania after the death of her mother. Growing up, she found it hard to make friends. Eliviane was notorious for speaking her mind, causing discourse in the city, and challenging the Gridanian policies. Because of this, most of the parents warned their children away from their family. For the majority of her childhood, Barm spent her time wandering through Central Shroud, climbing trees, people watching, and convincing herself she could talk to animals.

Barm often watched hunters and The God's Quivers go about their daily tasks from high atop the trees. One day, hanging around the bannock, she spotted a bow and arrow lying beside a tent. Although she was nervous about being caught, Barm convinced herself she could borrow the weapon and put it right back. Surely, no one could be angry?

With some luck, she had successfully grabbed the bow, made off to one of the few secluded spots she preferred in bentbrach meadows, and began attempting to recreate the perfect archer posture. Unbeknownst to her, an Anole was hurtling towards her. It snapped a twig in the bush, the sharp sound causing her to leap and quickly turn around. She inadvertently released the bow, sending the arrow straight into the Anole's head.

Before Barm could even react, two figures appeared in the same direction as the creature. Two members of The God's Quivers, both smiling in astonishment at the young Elezen's aim. Barm was feeling too guilty about stealing the bow to even understand why they had ushered her back to the city. She had assumed it was to be punished for her crime. It was not until she had glanced up at the familiar sign that she recognised they had taken her to the archer's guild.

From that moment on, Barm was recruited into the guild and told only one person about what really happened that day, her first friend.

(I do have more to add to each character, but I hope it gives enough of a sample of what they are like ^^' )

Heaven sent: how did you and your lover meet?

So me and Suo have known each other from back in our Furin days, having met in that classroom on the first day. We were in the same class all throughout our time there. Upon first meeting we didn’t particularly get along at. Because the air of mystery around Suo and the way he talks, coupled with the fact I love to run my mouth too much, it was bound to end in disaster. Upon introduction, we had our first battle of wits.

“I’m Suo or at least that’s what everyone around here calls me.”

With that closed-eyed smile that I know is a front.

“Is that what they call you or is that your name, Suo?”

Thus is the start of calling him every ridiculous pet name I can think of until he confirms if its his real name or not.

Mocha: what was your first kiss like?

So with me and Suo, we were heavy on rials to lovers. We did not get along AT ALL at first. I do feel like there was a good period of time where feelings were starting to reach a boiling point. That boiling point came in the form of one of the many arguments we would get into. Steps were taken towards each other, getting into each other's faces as insults were slung at each other with honeyed venom dripping in our “pleasant” tones. Before I could give a rebuttal to Hayato’s most recent flung insult, the words die on my tongue. Far too preoccupied with the way his lips were watched to my own. Hating the way that I melted into it almost instantly, only to be met with that signature closed-eyed smile when he pulls away.

“You know you're so much more beautiful when you shut those pretty lips, honey.”

I was gob-smacked watching him walk away, cheeks flushed and blood boiling, He really did win that argument.

Vanilla: what do they keep on their nightstand? what do you keep on yours?

OO THIS ONE IS FUN. I feel like Suo is more of an organized guy. So on his side of the bed sits a lamp, whatever he was reading before bed, his phone and charging stand. Maybe a bottle of water (I always wake up thirsty in the middle of the night and complain about having to go downstairs when its dark to get water, so he is prepared.)

My side is a little more cluttered, however. Having my own charging stand, a candle, whatever book I was reading, my glasses case for when its time for bed, a night light, my vape, probably whatever I was snacking on before bed and tissues (I have horrible allergies in the morning.)

Lazy Day

Kenshin sat in a council meeting, a rather disgruntled expression on his face. Sasuke and the warlords of Kasugayama Castle had noticed that he had been even more stabby than usual… a term Sasuke had used to point out his lord’s foul mood.

After the council had finished, most of the men cleared out. Shingen, Sasuke, Yukimura, Yoshimoto, and Kanetsugu remained. “What is it?” Kenshin asked, glaring at all of them. “Are you all finally wanting a good battle?”

“No, no. Don’t even think of reaching for that blade.” Shingen replied.

“Though it is a beautiful blade.” Yoshimoto remarked. “It really is a work of art.”

“We���ve noticed that you…well you haven’t been very happy here recently, Lord Kenshin.” Sasuke pointed out.

“You’ve been lashing out more than usual.” Yukimura agreed.

“Is there perhaps something going on with you and our lovely goddess?” Shingen asked.

Kenshin glared. “MY goddess.” He corrected. 

Shingen just smiled unaffected. “So it is something to do with her.”

“You know, I thought your foul moods would ease up once you two got together.” Yukimura quipped.

“There has been a significant decrease in KU’s since they got together.” Sasuke stated. “Though they have started to increase once again, which makes me believe that there is something up.”

“It’s nothing.” Kenshin said.

“There is something troubling the princess?” Yoshimoto asked, eyeing Kenshin. For someone who could seem so lackadaisical, Yoshimoto could be quite observant.

Kenshin sighed. “I can’t fight the sky.”

All of the men looked at him, dumbfounded for a moment. Shingen was then fighting off a chuckle as he looked at Kenshin. He however couldn’t keep the amused smile from his face. “Are you saying the princess has been feeling down because of the rain we’ve been having?”

“Yes, dammit and I can’t make it stop raining.” Kenshin replied. “She’s been wanting to go out for several days now, but the rain prevents it. If I could fight the heavens to make her happy, I would.”

“Wow…I can’t believe you got that out of him or even understood what he meant in the first place.” Yukimura said, looking at Shingen.

“You are a useful Kenshin translator.” Sasuke agreed.

“If anyone could make the heavens bend to their will it would be you, Lord Kenshin.” Kanetsugu spoke up.

“Don’t give him any ideas.” Sasuke said, just imagining having to pull Kenshin back from trying to stab a cloud or fight a lightning bolt.

“I think the solution is simple.” Shingen said. “You can’t go out, so just make some time for the two of you to spend together inside.”

“You know, in our original time,” Sasuke spoke up, “rainy days are perfect for doing nothing.”

“Your suggestion makes no sense, Sasuke,” Kenshin replied, pulling out his sword and holding it to his ninja’s throat.

Sasuke sighed. “That’s the third KU of the day.” He muttered before meeting his lord’s gaze. “What I am trying to say is, in our time, people will spend a lazy day together when it rains. Don’t get out of your night clothes. Maybe read…couples might…cuddle.”

“A lazy day?” Kenshin asked.

“Yes, a lazy day.” Sasuke replied.

Kenshin seemed to debate for a moment, enjoying the idea of spending the day with his love…he especially liked the idea of cuddling her all day. He sheathed his sword. “Alright, we’ll try this plan of yours.”

“I will take care of everything so you don’t have to worry about anything other than spending time with the princess.” Kanetsugu told his lord.

“Good.” Kenshin replied, his mood already seemingly improved.

The next day…

The Oda Princess groaned as wakefulness came to her and she could hear the sound of rain pattering outside once again. “Ugh…”

Kenshin’s warm lips brushed against her forehead. “What’s the matter?” He asked.

“It’s raining again.” She answered him, frowning slightly as she opened her eyes to see his handsome face.

Kenshin lifted his hand to caress her cheek gently. “I wish I could make the rain stop…”

“But you can’t so don’t try and fight the sky.” She said, a smile coming to her face at the thought.

Kenshin chuckled. “Alright…but my schedule is clear for the day. Sasuke suggested we could spend a lazy day together since it is raining.”

“A lazy day?”  She mused. “That does sound nice.”

Kenshin smiled as he pulled her closer and kissed her gently on the lips. “I hope you’re prepared to not leave my arms today.”

“What do you mean?” She asked.

“Sasuke mentioned that in your time, couples will use a rainy day as an excuse to cuddle all day.” Kenshin answered. 

The princess smiled. “That does sound nice.”

The maids were coming in to bring them breakfast then. The princess’s cheeks reddened at being seen by the maids cuddling Kenshin, but Kenshin felt no such shame. In fact his embrace only tightened, The maids bowed, smiles on their faces as they left.

“We should eat the food while it’s hot.” Kenshin said. “I had the cooks prepare all of your favorites.”

The princess smiled. “Thank you, Kenshin.”

The pair were crawling out of bed and going to sit down in front of their trays. When his lover went to sit beside him, Kenshin pulled her into his lap. “I told you, you are staying in my arms all day.”

She smiled, her cheeks reddening, but she was happy none the less. “Well…I do like the sound of that.”

The lovers ate their breakfast together, feeding each other and sharing kisses and the warm embrace. Afterwards they moved to the covered porch off of their room, Kenshin bringing a blanket and wrapping them up together.

The princess snuggled up with Kenshin as they sat watching the rain. “Hmm, this is the perfect way to  spend the day.” She said. “I wish we could spend every rainy day like this.”

Kenshin kissed her cheek. “Whatever it takes to make you happy.” He said. “And keeping you in the cage of my arms is the perfect way to spend any day to me.”

She nuzzled into his chest. “I love you, Kenshin.”

“I love you, too.” Kenshin replied, pulling her close to share a deep kiss, pouring all of his love for her into the kiss. It was a simple and lazy day spent together, but it was the perfect way to spend it. Kenshin couldn’t imagine being happier. Never had he imagined that he would find doing nothing all day could be so fulfilling.

I slightly changed Tokisaki's design. She used to have back hair, but I thought it was a bit too much, so she only has the front part now. Also be careful not to be gazing at her too much, or you'll be destroyed by her protective older brother Tokisada, who, in my Headcanon, has a "scar" of the curse "carved" in his body. Also his fingers are a lighter color as a side effect to being imprisonned in ice for God knows how long...

When some girls from Mahana are having some time together on one of the wooden docks of their villages after hunting down some monsters. And it's even better with some fresh food and drinks !

Kayna was a mentor to both Leïa (my OC, right) and Ruby (@emilie_nct on Instagram, middle), so she is pretty much like a big sister to them ♥

Fun fact about our characters :

We both had the game the day of its International release (July 9th 2021) and we created without even knowing that the other one got the game. At the end of the same year, we were talking about our experience in the game, and we showed our characters to each other. We were shocked by how similar they were, so we decided to make them twins, with Ruby (middle) as the older one, and Leïa (right), as the younger one, just like us in real life (we are not blood related but she is older than me).

The final is a silly little idea that I had.

2 types of Snaky Boys meeting randomly at the Swimming Pool. They both are linked to fire (one manipulates it and the other uses a flamethrower), but where they are very different is ... the "Snake part"... While the Warrior of the Snake is just born the year of the Snake (in Chinese Zodiac), the Demigod has literal snakes coming out of his body (and a Abyssal Serpent inside but Otouto doesn't know that), so that was ... unexpected to say the least...

Also since Messmer is 11'9" (304 cm), it must be hard for him to find fitting clothes, so that's why his clothes are a bit too tight for him ngl.
