guy who is being so normal about the new additions to their profiles. i think abt midoris initial infatuation with his art slowly developing into appreciating yuzuru himself as a person and idol to the point he worries about how he sees him (ex: a bit of home party and in workplace survival rules) sometimes thats a lie i think about it a lot. and yuzuru learning to enjoy art just for the sake of drawing!! seeing the lets try diy story where he doesnt even refute drawing on midoris desk and was only worried that his doodles might cover up the mascot design compared to how discouraged he usually would be in earlier ! stories. everything to me i adore their dynamic if that wasnt obvious by *gestures to basically everything*

Quick re-do of a 4 year old piece

#to test my abilities... no jk #I mean kind of lol #I WANTED To test my abilities but then I couldnt think of anything #so then I just redid an older piece #I remembered the old one started black and white and then I did effects over it so I did that again #cause I just wanted to play around with lighting #and I think its pretty obvious how much I've improved #I also only spent like an hour on the second one #wasnt trying to make anything amazing here #just trying t make something that reminds myself how growth can look and feel #important stuff to do as an artist #I'm still sick btw lol #I love how when youre losing your voice everyone goes 'wow you sound terrible'#I get why. I sound terrible. but its so fucking funny like. culturally #like holy shit what the fuck is wrong with you !#but its polite and empathetic #I havent been getting work done on account of is sick #actually not entirely true #I did a good bit of work for we were legion and some for TTA too #but it was just no drawing work #all writing work #which theres just a lot more of to for wwl than for tta #anyways #we were legion #zagan #art redo #art improvement #spent easily twice as long on the original thats a skill upgrade roight there

#i kid you not i would not sketch for 8 years straight like i wouldn’t draw ANYTHING traditionally i actually really disliked it as well #but now i’m trying it again and wow it is actually really nice and fun and i love it #it’s so much easier now as well because digital art has improved my traditional art just by like proxy #so now i can actually draw what’s in my head with my own two hands and it’s making me very happy #reallyyyy want to turn that second sketch into a full drawing 🤞🤞🤞🤞#mersart

Art Summary 2023!

This year was kind of a struggle art-wise (read: burnout) but I'm glad I stuck it out because I got to spend a solid 8 months drawing all the fanart I didn't have time for last year :D

trying to finally draw the GUN Commander properly and while not the most amazing thing in the world, it's the best I've ever been able to draw a normal proportioned human that's not insane looking like Eggman lol. might even post it if I finish it

#what is happeninggg to my art lately I've just immensely improved #I can draw backgrounds and humans suddenly #I'm suprising myself #I think it's because I completely changed my lineart method it's making everything so much better and not as choppy and wonky #so it's making me a lot more confident #along with what I said in that other post of how the rise of AI has made me confident in drawing and accepting my real human made art #so I'm becoming a lot more ambitious lol #love being able to say wow I drew that that was me not prompts on a computer
