It was her 4th birthday before her element showed and shes sitting in the gardens with aang and tenzin and some of the other kids on the island for her birthday. Her uncle aang gives her a stuffed badgermole toy and a warm and very soft blanket bumi and kya made with katara from Appa’s shedding fur and she still has both items on her bed with her to this day.

Then again when she landed on the rebar in the building explosion. The agony of being in pain and the realization that she was too hurt. She couldn’t get herself out of there. At least when she was tortured by Amon she chose to put herself in the situation. Even if she didn’t know the extent. The others though, it was random. She couldn’t control that. She didn’t have a choice.

Ok I personally hc that sakuna was one of those guys that didn't super believe period cramps could be that bad (maybe not as bad as the guys that would make fun of girls for suffering when on their periods, but still would downplah it like hell) until you force him to use a period cramps simulator. He could cope with a decent amount, but when you set it to how bad yours are and he can't cope he immediately gives you the biggest princess treatment whenever you're on your period (I am currently on my period and have been using this concept to Cope)

Daffy might not be exactly soft but he IS more open than bugs

On everything lol

This Is why Daffy is a rock, hes way better at managin his emotions than bugs

AND also why you could pair Daffy with any other character without resulting on him feeling wattered down

At their core all looney Tunes have a soft heart, thats what looney Tunes are about, about portraying intense emotions in a humorous light AND also anarchy lol, theres no situation that has no silly side

Baffy hits different because bugs and Daffy BOTH navigate violence separate and together

But whereas Daffy has to more often take the L bugs has to ALWAYS win (most of the Time)

Whereas Daffy is able to lose and still gets to keep his core intact

Bugs prudence, wit and stoickish (when used right hilarious) nature Is the thing that separates him from other characters

This is what makes modern bugs who he is, and while both parts (bugs and Daffy) are to blame on their eggshellish relationship bugs fault is this facade that keeps him from being authentic and forming a true connection to Daffy

And we could excuse it with hipothetically saying that if bugs, used to being the "bigger person" were to put his fear to vulnerability aside and actually reciprocate Daffys affection in a decent attentive way a partner does Daffy would still choose himself over it

BUT Heres my hc with Daffy, hes emotionally intelligent

he knows bugs well enough because theyve both been on the same situations, he knows how bugs responds to feeling cornered, he knows the facade, so when bugs does this thing of acting nonchalant he calls him on his bullshit, he knows bugs biggest pet peeve is his unability to let things go, he's obssesive and just as intense as he is and his efforts are not to bring the softness but the intensity out him, and bugs just wont give in because he cannot let Daffy get a rise out of him, that would mean he wins and bugs cant loose

Thats why theyre like that, they like eachother authentically

Daffy is constantly (alledgely subconciously) looking for the part of himself that he recognizes in bugs (bugs started as a copy of Daffy) but if bugs gives up on his facade, not only loses what makes him unique but also bc of the misscomunication usually present in their relationship, could be thinking on losing Daffys attention

Even tho Daffy is open and better at managin his emotions, he still has a looong way to go to be comfortable with normal affection even moreso with bugs

BUT theyre both also naturally sweet, this is where their passion comes from, so theres still hope for them, the thing with them is just how well balanced their dysfunctional relationship is, like you could think bugs Is the most "mature" but is actually Daffy who Is better at managin emotions as a normal individual, also the one whos open for the other one to be himself Is just bugs has layers and layers of repression for being put against the eraser so many times

And despite everything you cant really say bugs doesnt accept Daffy for who he is, he has limits with him, which yes make Daffy be better but heck you could say he is aware of his emotional walls that Daffy wants to tear down and this Is the reason he spoils him so much lol

Ok so I have been reading various fanfictions for AkkAyan and I noticed a thing I didn't notice wile watching the episodes, and that thing is that how Akk acts at the beginning of the show when he follows Ayan allover convinced he has some sort of plan to take down the school(wich in retrospect was true lol) made think back on how Harry follows Draco in book 6/year 6 cuz he is convinced as well that the blonde is up to no good(again he was correct as well lol) and this similarity has kinda messed up my brain lol, cuz if you look at it it does feel very similar even if their personalities are all different and the stakes are different, and this 2(Akk and Aye) start basically as enemies with one being the rule abaider teachers pet all about keeping the reputation and the other is the rebel that has a personal agenda against the school and helps the protesting students but they also have a charged tension amd an attraction that bring both to develope feelings so it just made think of H and D both in canon and in the fanfictions that I read.

this also made me want a The Eclipse Hogwarts au(wich there are none in ao3) btw if you wanna know this is my hc for the characters and what house I think they would go in:

Akk and Aye: Slitherin both very goal oriented leaders both a bit cunning

Albedo, Kaeya, Dain, and all the Khaenri'ah folks will be able to recognize them

Kazuha would not know immediately, but he's not one to jump to conclusions. He would be able to sense how nature changes around them and would be able to piece it together over time

All the enemies in the game including the weekly bosses will recognize them ofc

Fischl does. And by that I mean Oz does and tells her and she quickly realizes that even though it's not obvious, you definitely have an otherworldly aura

Benny doesn't but he's still nice to you. Everyone keeps saying you're impersonating the creator and he's like ????? They've been actively denying being the creator what are yall talking about?? He thinks you looking like the creator is just you being unlucky like him and he lets you join his adventure team when you come across eachother

Qiqi knows. I love big brother Xiao hc especially when it's him atoning for accidentally killing her, so he taught her about the creator and through both his lessons and being exposed to the creators light through him, she's able to recognize you right away

Hello, my darling! Got a question for you 😌 How do you think Zuko would propose to Katara? And what would her reaction be?

Oh! Okay. So. Here’s a fun fact about me. I lowkey got beef with the whole culture of proposals lmfao. But yeah. We don’t need to get into this here, this answer is long enough as it is.

I think they would have spoken at length about getting married anyway. One day they’re just hanging and are like “...so when do you wanna do this thing”. They probably had a bunch of procedures to follow too, on account of being Fire Lord/future Fire Lady. So the wedding is finalised, but Zuko is a hopeless romantic who likes doing things for Katara so he goes out of his way to have a special moment for just the 2 of them, given how public so much of this process/relationship has been and will continue to be, in a way. It’s not really a proposal I guess, but it’s just a nice moment to show their commitment and love to each other.

I can’t decide if it happens at Ember Island (since that’s where they became friends) or in the South. (Or fuck it, worst case, neutral ground in the Earth Kingdom since Ba Sing Se is also significant to their relationship lol.) I am also a fan of the idea that they both try to plan a surprise for the other person at the same time, like one of those viral videos (you know the ones right). Also, Zuko tries to plan it for dusk/sunset, and Katara aims for dawn/sunrise. I like that they would do it at times where the day and the night meet, but Zuko tries to do it closer to evening because Katara hates early mornings, and she wants to wake up super early to do something special for her man because she knows he loves the mornings.

Anyway, after the formalities are done they head over to the South Pole to celebrate with Katara’s family and tribe. So, that last date idea from Joy’s ask? The way I picture it, that would actually be a really pretty location to do it. It would be a similar setting too, and Zuko builds them a really nice fire and everything. I think maybe he carries a bunch of ingredients up there, he gets some family recipes from Kanna and Hakoda and he cooks for her while they’re up there. They drink some wine (or whatever they drink in the ATLA universe) while he cooks and they talk and laugh and then enjoy a fresh hot dinner. Afterwards, they huddle together under the blankets to watch the sunset while they sip some tea and Zuko just gives her this tiny speech about how much he loves her and is so happy she chose him and can’t wait for them to build the rest of their lives together. I know everyone likes the betrothal necklace thing but I don’t think he would do that. It’s not a SWT tradition and he wouldn’t want to replace her mom’s necklace anyway. I think he’d make her some other jewellery tho, maybe like the bracelets she wore as part of her FN disguise? So like, FN style, but he’d forge them in silver instead of gold and stamp in a crescent moon, like her Mark of the Brave. Alternatively, he could do a similar thing with hair beads. Or both. (And he obviously specially crafts a crown for her later that merges fire and water symbolism.)

When he wakes up the next morning (right before sunrise) Katara isn’t next to him and he panics a little and steps outside their temporary igloo and sees her there. She’s bent these ice crystals that sparkle like little diamonds all around them and as the sun rises the sunlight passes through them and they’re surrounded by these flares of colour everywhere and she’s like ‘you’re not the only one who wanted to do a nice thing mister’ and tells him how much he is loved and how much she’s enjoyed being by his side as he grew into the man he is today and can’t wait for them to grow old together and he just starts crying because you know he does. I’ve mentioned once before that I like to hc that it’s tradition for men to wear jewellery in the FN/ATLA-verse and this recent jw obsession is only fuelling that hc. I think Zuko would wear some too, so she gets him a ring. It’s alternating bands of silver and gold and the top has a sun/moon design on it. The inside of the band has the words ‘i rise with the moon, you rise with the sun’ engraved on it because she still likes to tease him about that.

Option 2 is that they go to Ember Island right after, for some alone time, and that’s where it happens. Similar thing, they camp out on the beach with a bonfire by the ocean and fall asleep stargazing. Zuko cooks SWT food for her and all that, but he’s also spread out a bunch of fire lilies for her on the beach and maybe he bends tiny sparks of fire above them or something too. And the next morning Katara pulls the same shit on him.

so you guys met at (you guessed it) a pro-bending match

you were an Earthbender for the Ba Sing Se Badgermoles, a widely known team because you guys represented such a big city and you guys were actually kinda good

the Badgermoles were constantly interviewed, put on the covers of magazines, and bombarded by fans. The people loved you and your team

and so the day came where the Badgermoles were put up against the Fire Ferrets

you had heard about this team a lot; how they lost a member of the team, then the Avatar, actual master of the elements, filled in that empty space

it honestly took you so long to process

anyways, your team didn’t get the chance to meet the Fire Ferrets before the match; you just threw on all of your gear and made your way to the play area

you saw the Ferrets and instantly saw Avatar Korra, the only girl on the team

honestly, you couldnt see her well, but she was so pretty

anyways

the battle started and the Badgermoles got the advantage pretty quick

you took out their firebender and was working on the earthbender while the rest of team handled the Avatar

the earthbender put up a huge fight, it was so impressive

he even knocked you back a zone, but you recovered and, with a streak of luck, knocked him straight out of the field

you guys won that round

the next round didn’t go so well

the fire ferrets managed to knock all three of you guys off the platform, resulting in a win and a knock out

this meant that the entire match went to the Fire Ferrets

the other members on your team were annoyed and angry, but you weren’t phased too much

after all, Ba Sing Se treated you all extremely nicely, whether you win or not

so after the game, your team found themselves walking through the Fire Ferret’s locker room so you could leave

after your team mates walked past, you stayed behind and talked to one of the Ferrets, the Earthbender

“Hey, you were really good out there.”

you took off your helmet, just like in the movies, and he swore time slowed

he just stood there, completely frozen with his mouth agape

you raised an eyebrow at his antics and it wasn’t until Avatar Korra slapped him on the back that he came back to

“You- good- were good, uh im- im Bolin.”

you just laughed at Bolin and smiled 

“My names Y/n”

you walked up close to him, noses inches apart

“And next time, we won’t lose.”

he just gulped and nodded him head

you turned and walked out, laughing quietly to yourself

the interaction boosted your mood up exponentially

anyways timeskip to when their looking for the airbenders

you were just chilling in Ba Sing Se in the upper ring

you and your team were given super nice houses since you were the city’s pride and joys

then suddenly, you see Bolin and his brother walking around calling for someone

“Bolin? is that you?”

that boy turned around so fast

he blushed so brightly when he saw you and kinda looked at his brother for help

“well, well, what are the Fire Ferrets doing in my city? you know.. i’ve been dying for a rematch!”

you were only joking of course

you knew that their team had broken up after the year you met Bolin

you were all walking through the upper ring looking for some kid named Kai, but you weren’t really paying attention

from what you had heard (once again, you definitely weren’t searching for info), Bolin was an outgoing, loud guy

now he was quieter than a mouse

“So, i heard you were making movers now. What, getting tired of being a Pro-Bender?”

“Huh? No. I still play! I’m just doing this until the season starts...”

you were visibly happier after hearing that

you had thought that acting was going to be his permanent thing from now on

but still one thing plagued your mind

“And whats that princess girlfriend of yours gonna think about it? Ginger, I think her name was.”

Spirits you had done wayyyy too much research on this man

to be fair, you didn’t think you’d see him ever again

so you guys searched for Kai for a while more

you decided that you were going to make some subtle hints toward Bolin

you let your hand brush against his a couple times, but never really looked up to see his reaction

then, you guys found Kai

he was stealing some old guy’s money by... airbending? why does this day just keep getting weirder?

so you guys chase him down an the streets and eventually follow him onto a train

unfortunately, he tricks you and sends you guys all the way to the lower ring 

you used to live here when you were younger, before you became a Pro-Bender, and it wasn’t a nice place

only now, it seemed to have gotten worse

all of you tried to find a way to get on a train back to the upper ring, but none of you had your passports or any money

if only you hadn’t left your house in such a hurry

you even tried to pull the “im a Pro-Bender!” card, but it didnt work

so you guys stayed on the streets for the day

Bolin was really trying to lighten the situation up, but it wasn’t really working 

“C’mon guys! Korra will realize that we’re gone and then come rescue us! I know it!”

she did not come

eventually, they had to find a place to sleep and no where was letting the stay for free

so they found a place in an alley and slept on the floor

yup, the dirty floor

you almost wanted to stay up for the whole night to avoid sleeping on the ground, but Bolin assured her that it wasn’t as bad as it seemed

it was

“mmm here! you can use my jacket.”

he took off his jacket and laied it out on the floor neatly before gesturing for you to lay there

you hesitated for a second before sitting, not really putting up much of a fight because of how tired you were

Mako was already asleep somewhere across the alley and Bolin began gathering up some papers to use as blanket

then he found a spot somewhere away from you and started to settle down

“hey Bolin? do you maybe wanna share the jacket?”

he looked up so quickly and even the soft light from the lamp post caught his blush

“uhh sure”

and so he came over and laid halfway on the jacket so that you could take up most of it

he even offered you some of his picked up trash to use as a blanket, but you grimaced at the grossness and shook your head

19. what’s your favorite character headcanon? this is even harder!! nina u sent me the hardest two omg thank you. you get three-ish headcanons bc i can never chose my favorite - uh i love lesbian yue and that’s BARELY a headcanon but like.. her and sokka discovering their sexualities together is very near and dear to my heart. also them having the same taste in girls is good. - ALSO zuko becoming a ambassador to the southern water tribe after the war ends and the fire nation gets some kind of parliamentary democracy (that iroh is a part of?? he does NOT get to fuck off to ba sing se like man at least try to repair your nation). mai does something in politics that involves being at kyoshi island a lot. zuko comes to kyoshi island during the time at the south pole where there’s not any sun (bc that would be hell for a firebender) and he and mai and ty lee and suki just have a nice time (zuko and his wlw friends... good) - also (and this is like? the only actual hc here? the others r like Here Is Where Canon Is Wrong) sokka wears a single glass earring on most days but also has a large collection of lesbian earrings that he shares with suki

so far i’ve read three trees to midnight, horror of hormak, and callback. i’m trying to practise restraint and leave the last story until i’m at least done with my initial read-through of the material most relevant to my characters which ksjdf. is very hard but here’s notes i’ve taken so far:

if you want a pretty good demonstration of why solas and cole speak with discomfort about how spirits are used in thedas, “wisp darts” may be a pretty good example. it’s likely the wisps aren’t fully-formed spirits, more akin to the pieces of pieces cole refers to the mortalitasi using. still a pretty callous way to use something that has some presence, even if it’s not a person.

there’s a reference to a talented tevinter mage healer being able to reattach arms with magic, through use of spirits.

there is a lot of discord among the qunari rn, both within different arms and without. the bas-taar, the antaam keeper of bas slaves, essentially, thinks of the ashaad with disdain-         “even the black-and-white-striped vitaar that painted the huntmaster’s face was  drawn to symbolise sight, finding, rather than battle and power, as befitted the antaam.” funnily the huntsmaster is actually not antaam but ben-hassrath, therefore a priest, but that his attitude doesn’t draw notice indicates this isn’t abnormal for the ashaad. so like not only do at least some of the antaam and ben-hassrath have beef, but there’s beef within the antaam.

if i read it right, the dwarven deep roads gave way to purely elven ruins, and the warden narrator notes that this isn’t completely unheard of. not only that but there are dwarven carvings of elves, and it’s only later the elven bas-relief take over. i’ll prob need to reread to wrap my head about it, i wonder the relation between the dwarves and elves there.

fucked up as the art itself was, i love the glimpse we got into true elven art. the lack of age made me pause-- solas indicates that spirits can preserve things, so it could be that, or could someone be upkeeping it? and the change the art went through, going from healing to putting the hurt (the taint?) into people. whether this is just ramesh’s perception changing or magic idk, but i also wouldn’t be surprised if ancient elven magic shifted as the viewer looked at it, too.

solas’ reasoning for discomfort abt the wardens grows tbh when i think about the art. while the wardens don’t change themselves the way (what i assume to be) ghilan’nain’s creations have, they are still taking the blight into them oftentimes unwillingly. it’s the sort of parallel that would be difficult to let go to say the least.

there was a yellow-green lyrium stone hanging from the ceiling, something we’ve apparently only seen before in the hissing wastes (around rifts). cole makes reference to it being a result of venatori trying to make red lyrium “less angry,” which i guess would make sense given all the blight around the lyrium? but who knows if they’re connected. it’s a pretty good bet that green lyrium is somehow touched or related to the Fade/sky in ways the blue stuff isn’t.

a lot about the spirit of regret made me wonder both about it and about solas. there was a lot to it that didn’t match up to solas’ motivations-- glee in the dread that was coming, for example, doesn’t match, calling itself the regret of a god. this is honestly expected as spirits don’t create perfect replicas, tho still interesting. and that what felled it wasn’t a lack of regret, but an ownage of said regret. idk i feel it has greater implications for “demons” because things like pride, desire, rage aren’t bad but natural human emotions, and sometimes necessary or even good. this ramble is just becoming the plot to pixar’s inside out. regret was a good and i wish things had ended less violently for it, even if it will likely reform in the fade. i will be putting more stuff out abt regret tbh b/c i like to think it and solas spoke prior to him leaving the inquisition but for now i’ll leave it be.

the implications for solas? - “I regret acting alone!” / “I regret using my friends!” / “I regret now!” as sutherland himself notes it seems like he was echoing the regret that drew it to skyhold, and all these things apply to solas 1000%. the thing about solas’ relationship with regret is that while he does “own it” in the sense that he will admit regretting-- a lot of things, and often-- his relationship with it is pretty unhealthy and doesn’t lead him to new paths, at least not as of now. he’s regretful but also feels stripped of other choices. - “There might have been a better choice, said a thought it had not been allowed.” this line makes me think about inquisitors who vowed to redeem solas, specifically thora, but what else is new there. namely, the lines at the end of his trespasser screne aren’t so much in the spirit of “save our friend from himself, if we can” but “i’ll show you there’s another way.” which is much closer to how i imagine the threat solas poses could be nullified (without just pure opposition, anyway, which imo may solve the solas dilemma but would just be slapping a bandage on a world that’s bleeding out). - that the final fresco became the scene of flemythal’s death and that the figure was both lupine and reptilian obvs confirms that it was absorption and not possession which, thanks i hated that theory for many reasons. whether the implication is that solas has lost some of his own identity as a result or it’s merely symbolic we’ll see, i guess. i do personally hc that it changes his relationship with his own magic and not necessarily for the better. - tbh the moral sutherland and the order from divine victoria is interesting considering-- regret did accept and move on? which has implications for more than just solas but spirits in general. idk i’ll talk abt this one more once a) i reread it and b) i read the other relevant stories for solas b/c i know there’s more

on a brighter note, it was sweet and so good to see the inquisition from the POV of people not in the inner circle. i loved the note of skyhold being stripped bare by people taking keepsakes, and how much it meant to sutherland

overall so far i think my fave has been three trees to midnight, i thought the chemistry between the characters rang the most true. i’ll have to go back and reread down among the dead mean as i know it has spirit-relevant stuff but i wanted to read horrors of hormak......... so.

oh i wanted to add if you’d like more coherent summaries, i��d suggest felassan’s tevinter nights tag. everything i talk abt in here will prob end up rewritten on solas or my multimuse (like the qunari stuff is relevant to tetrak) rn it’s just........... words.

Lock/Carth:

1. How do they fall asleep? Wake up? Any daily rituals?

After Carth gets up in the ranks in the Republic military, he comes home late and usually falls asleep late, at his desk. Lock will usually just smile and quietly take him to their bed and let him get some sleep, tho occasionally accidentally wake up Carth in the process (hey, nobody’s perfect). Similarly, Carth’s working early and is usually gone before Lock wakes up, but not before leaving a message on a datapad with some corny “I love you, can’t wait to see you”.Days where Carth’s not working involving them going to bed and waking up together, and both tag-teaming making breakfast for themselves and Dustil. Very simple and domestic, but it’s really everything either of them could want.

3. Are they open about their relationship? How do they feel about public displays of affection?

They’re open about it, but not much beyond holding hands and occasional kisses in public. I imagine they’re both p reserved - unless, unless, one certain Mission Vao is being a teen pest about something. Then both of them just look at each other and instantly go right into “teenagers at the drive-in” levels of smitten with each other, purely to gross her out and make her leave the room. Lots of “schmoopy-poo” and “dearest darlingest luvvy wuv” just to make her retch. That’s about the only time they’re really the PDA type lol

Lunakalla/Felix:

7. What annoys them the most about their partner? Would they change it if they could?

Lunakalla is the arrogant type who has no problem with self-esteem, and as cool as Felix usually is I’m sure there’s been occasions where her thinking she’s the greatest thing since sliced bread in space can be a bit grating. Relating to that: she has her moments of refusing to initially talk about something Jedi-related in layman’s terms when she knows that others won’t know what she means at first, and then make a bit to-do about how “Oh of course, pardon me” and then explain it again, simply. She doesn’t do this to Felix himself, but… sometimes that doesn’t necessarily make it better.Felix can be overprotective of Luna in fights. Not in every fight, but enough that it’s grated on her nerves more than once. She gets huffy at the idea that anybody doesn’t take her or her skills seriously, and while she knows that he’s just looking out for her and has her best interests at heart, it doesn’t really change how much it genuinely irks her.Would they change it? I don’t know about outright changing it so much as mentioning it to the other and trying to talk about it. I really don’t see either forcing a change, and both of them care for the other enough to deal with it.

8. What do the like best about their partner?

Lunakalla admires Felix’s cheerfulness, his general happiness and how he’s so comfortable in life. Even though he has reasons to be unhappy with his lot, he’s still good and kind to other people, and it’s something she admires enough to try and emulate in herself.Felix likes Lunakalla’s confidence, how straight-forward and hands-on she is. While she is arrogant, she’s also always sure of herself and the choices she’s making, and never looks back. If she says she’s going to do or believe in something, she will, and I feel like he’d definitely admire that quality in her.

Ibaisa/Quinn:

18. What are their dates like? How long do/did they date? Do they ever feel the need to take a break from each other?

I have this hc that Ibby really likes ice-skating? So I feel like that’d pop up a lot on their dates. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I also see them as enjoying the traditional romantic stuff, but esp dinner dates bc Ibby’s a Sith so she gets like. Priority treatment at the best restaurants on Dromund Kaas, nothing but the finest, just having a glass of wine and dinner with your cute lieutenant that you’ve been smitten with ever since he mocked a Jedi. Must be nice.Their dating lasts as long as it does in-game, I don’t really have any headcanons differently from that lol. They did take a break after the whole Quinncident, though - Ibby needed some time to rethink things and forgive him. She got to that point, but it took time. (note to self: make a “WE WERE ON A BREAK” Ross and Rachel style joke at some point)

19. What do they fight about? What are their arguments like? How do they make up?

It’s kinda bc they’re both p stoic people but I can’t imagine Ibby and Quinn fighting all that much, lol (Quinncident don’t interact). If they do have a genuine argument, they’re not the ones to shout so much as get cold. No interactions with each other unless it’s for work-related matters, and even then it’s incredibly formal and stiff. Eventually they’ll both sigh and decide it’s time to sit down and talk, but probably not without outside intervention. :^D (Vette. I’m talking Vette. She’ll tell them both separately to knock it off and go talk to each other already. She’s president of the SW/Quinn ship)

20. What does their home look like? Their room?

I will forever imagine Quinn as the “I need to run inside and tidy up before the firemen get here yes I know our house is on fire” type, while Ibby’s more of a believer in “why make the bed when it’ll get messy again tomorrow morning anyway”. Quinn mostly keeps it tidy and Ibby tries to straighten up after herself more after they get a home together, but she’s not perfect at this one. She tries though. :PIbby’s not interested in a big manor like some Sith are - to her it just attracts unnecessary attention, and so she and Quinn actually have a relatively small house. Enough defenses against any potential rivals, enough room for them to have a family at some point, but it’s not exactly a castle. Their shared room is probably kept pretty simple, bc they’re both workaholics who don’t go to their Dromund Kaas house too often, but enough of their personal effects to call it a home.

Amethylia/Bastila: 

36. What’s their greatest strength as a couple? Their weakness?

Is it cheap if I go for the Force bond they have for both? :PTheir greatest strength, I think, would probably be an understanding of the other’s personality that comes fairly natural to the both of them. Amethylia is a sarcastic grump who doesn’t care for sugarcoating things, and Bastila is a bit stuffy, uptight, and doesn’t usually joke around. I figure most people are understandably put off by those qualities and can be dismissive of them, but Amy and Bas have a good understanding of what lays underneath. Amethylia’s grumpiness and dislike for others isn’t really as strong as it can come off as, and Bastila’s lectures come from a good place, and both of them get that. They understand and they communicate p well.As for weaknesses, they might both understand each other’s personalities well but both of them can be really bad at letting the other in, tbh. When the nightmares and the guilt from their own trips through the Dark Side come up, both of them have a tendency to keep it to themselves out of fear of burdening the other. And when Amethylia’s memories of the True Sith threat come back, she takes it one step further by disappearing on Bastila outright and not even telling her where she’s going. Bastila figured it out and left that message on T3, but things might’ve been different if Amethylia had been willing to share her burdens with her fiancée.

I’ve started a trend of picking up THM headcanons because they’re nON EXISTENT lmao

or at least from what I hear

This round is for the Onwards AU (post-THM au), with the Tribe of Three being roughly 18-21 here 

((I’ll also include William and Kaznim because they’re dear to my heart))

-Ferdie eventually starts going through a small internship on a fashion shop, carrying cloth and measuring people

-Then she starts rising through the ranks, gaining fame for her embroidery on cloth

-And then she likes it

-OH GOD SHE LIKES IT

-She ends up getting an apprenticeship and is soon to buy the business from the current owner, who wants to retire to an Iberian beach already

-She’s a ruthless businesswoman and always ends up with the most ridiculous business deals which work out in her favor,,,somehow

-Ferdie is also the one who makes Tod’s graduation dress, her current work tunic also (Sep also asks to get his tunic made)

-William, when he’s off-time, is still very close and very dear to Ferd and he helps out in the shop 

-They still play the string game in StarChaser with all the juiciest gossip

-It’ s not like Ferdie WANTS all the gossip and has an amount of secrets rivaling Sally Mullin’s,,, it’ s a fashion shop. It just happens 

-Oskar is still working with Ephaniah as a mechanic, with some medical exp too since Ephaniah has been decreasing of health lately- not enough to be fatal, he’s just getting older

-He subs in as a scribe and is always sneaking Tod in and out of the Ancient Ways or getting to talk to her a little more

-Hairdresser: Ms. Todhunter Moon, what would you like me to help you with?

-She has them as braids that go around the back of her head- with a blue bead at the start of each braid

-William takes after his pseudo-cousin AND his uncle Nicko and does sailor beads in his hair. Reactions are, being optimistic, mixed

-Ferd leaves her hair long, Oskar ties his up in a ponytail (and maybe a small elflock every once in a while because Tod makes him), and Tod grows her hair out, starting when she was roughly 16

-It’s the first time she grows her hair after her mom’s death

-Kaznim works as the Red City assistant, guiding Septimus around, and is also taking up her mother’s trade

-At some point, most likely directly after StarChaser, Kaznim and Tod realize they’re related! They have some talk after that

-In fact, Kaznim takes her to the Draa campsite when Tod begins traveling for Castle alliances, and it becomes her temporary home for around 3 months.

-Kaznim is still kind of distant to Dandra, eventually gets over it

-Kaznim: TOD!! BAREV!

Tod: Ba-what-now

-Kaznim has to teach Tod Armenian (since it’s implied the Draas come from an area near Armenia or in Armenia proper). Kaznim suffers.

-William has a keen interest, apart from Magyk, in Alchemie. Marcellus is really fond of him and is more than willing to teach him some

-Simon also teaches him some!

-I haven’t tackled it but yes I headcanon William to get an apprenticeship in the wizard tower! Takes after uncle Sep a lot

-Tod leaves a month after her graduation to start the founding of Castle alliances around the world and comes back roughly a year later, in her late nineteens- early 20s

-The sudden separation left a lot of unsolved conflict and tension between Oskar and Tod- and her sudden return makes things between them even more cold and awkward. Ferd spends an uncomfortable 8 months playing messenger and trying to get them to settle down and get things straightened out

-William outcooks his mom, his dad, and his uncle Sep and those are just facts

-Ferdie suddenly starts getting pearl jewelry in her mail starting in her 20s and no one knows where it came from- she never finds out who it’s actually from

-Barney Pot, being some 14 years old when THM starts, also hangs out with Tribe occasionally, with some slight flirting on the side ((s’all for fun though))

-Flirting to whom? All three of course

-Oskar does get that Orm automata done for his graduation project!! It works  and the angriest he’s ever gotten at the Ormlet is when it tried to eat his creation of some 6-months

-He’s also fluent in Sign Language, English and Greek- Ephaniah’s ancestor language. You could argue he’s considerably worse at Greek though.

-Lucy often gives Ferdie ribbons in exchange for embroidery lessons. 

-The transition from being teacher-apprentice to coworkers is weird for Tod and Sep, as well as for Osk and Ephaniah

-I do hc Ferdie as panro! She’s very confused throughout her teens rip

-The Tribe and Will go ice skating in the winter- all three are complete messes and William has to teach these grown ass adults to balance themselves

-Ferd and Oskar stay in the Heap-Gringe household when they’re in the Castle, and are raised in Alchemie and some basic Magyk. Tod’s happily impressed

-Oskar’s walked out with his magnifying glasses and caused local panic because bUG MAN 

-They still take naps together because tHEYRE DORKS (tired dorks), sleepovers are less rare but involve a lot of salt on coworkers. The Tribe also ocassionally goes on ice cream parlor outings in the summer

-After her growing paranoia in the Red City, Tod has a sword made in the Draa camp, naming it Hamasteghut’yun ((Amernian for constellation)). She has an UnSeen on it and practices in private.

-After declining her mother’s offer of her own blade, Kaznim also gets a throwing knife crafted, called Halatsum (persecution)

-Kaznim has an,,interesting adolescence w her family (( that’s another post tho))

-Ferdie is the only one to not have a graduation party ((Tod has her own and Oskar has the Manuscriptorium annual)) so the Heaps throw her this huge ass party when she’s 21 to compensate.

-Tod wears heeled boots to be more intimidating and it KIND OF works,,, Ferdie, on the other hand, can stare down any man at her small height and send them running

-Official heights:

Osk: 5′11″

Will: 6′0″

Kaznim: 5′7″

Ferdie: 4′11″

-Tod has unexpected encounters with a certain Syrah Syara, who’s personality she’s drawn to. Sep has a very hard time talking to her about Syrah.

-Tod’s dyed honey-blond strands come from her visit to what would then be called France, given to her by the people before an international ball. She sticks with it for much of her life.

-Oskar’s fascination with the Dragon Boat guides him to hang out with Jenna more- who always wanted a younger brother. A nice friendship forms, although he’s still terrified of her, as one rightly should.

-Oskar picks up ukulele and guitar, Ferdie picks up viola and flute. Tod’s good with hand drums and singing, Kaznim with cymbals and Armenian percussion, and Will likes violin and xylophones

-The Sarn twins rent out an apartment when they’re grown in the Castle

-the neon glow-in-the-dark sunglasses was Oskar’s idea. They also have two sets of roller blades and the raddest scooters

-Will owns his own roller blades

-William grows to be the affection of everyone with his uncle’s charisma, his father’s kindness, and his badassery at lacrosse

-Famous/Iconic jewelry:

-Osk: leather bracelet from the draa camp, silver ring with a melting pair of wings (his first attempt at crafting jewelry), multi-purpose bracelet (think an army knife but,,not), cord necklace with painted glass beads and his golden universal Manuscriptorium key. Onyx earring mayb?

-Ferdie: Amethyst-and-silk bracelet ((shared with Tod)), all that pearl jewelry from before changed out into rotations, platinum ring Simon, William, and Lucy gave her, Leather twin chokers with a variety of charms, from a small crochet man to an elegant ruby set

-Tod: her iconic snake ring, ‘Find a way’ ring that she shares with Sep, Amethyst bracelet, leather bracelet from the draa camp, Gold-and-labradorite earrings, star necklace with draa beads as well

-The tribe sneaked out together in their late teens to walk around and admire the night lights. Cats always seem to be accompanying them- it’s a mystery

-All three have middle names: Ferdie’s is Lilliann, Oskar’s Liam, and Tod’s is Diana ((although her Draa family insisted Cassi always wanted a daughter named Seraldi)) They use each other’s middle name when they’re mad pissed

-Tod and Kaznim have two last names- the first from their mother, the second from their father.

-William is by far the most enthusiastic apprentice ever- he’s the happiest cleaning out the pyramid library.

-Out of the entire tribe, Ferdie is the most apt at self-defense, armed and unarmed.

-She’s also real buff she’s bench-pressed Oskar once or twice- and the guy built muscle from carrying heavy items

-In their actual vacation, back in the pathfinder village, they always set Vega out to the Path, tie the boat to one of the white markers and quietly talk until late midnight- pointing out constellations, conversing of the past , and falling asleep until the next day, bright at dawn. Dan and Rosie receive a lot of fish from sleepy, early-morning fishing from all three adults involved.
